Would try again if a friend wanted to, but wouldn't go back on my own. Carne Asada burrito was salty! Not overbearing but not sure I've ever had a salty burrito before. The portion of meat was very good. Rice and beans are often the main ingredients, but they got the proportions right. The burrito is quite big and generous. The meat had good seasoning and was tender enough, but not outstanding or even great. Just decent. Loved the house-made salsa!! Perfect blend of flavors. I'm glad I tried the burrito but it's not something I will crave. Parking is crowdedin this area. It's a storefront with few parking spaces in the back.

Google
Been here twice, our go to lunch spot if we’re in the area. The steak burrito and loaded fries are sooo good. Can’t go wrong here. Might knock you out though cuz it’s heavy but delicious. Not much space for dining in. There is a table out back. Nice dedicated parking lot out back.

Google
Clean, Small place. Usually you don’t see lot of people eating in. They have sitting places on the back too. I usually take it to go. They lots of delivery orders. Food is very good! They very generous on ingredients. Highly recommend

Google
Absolutely incredible Mexican food! Great staff but the food is exceptional! Didn’t get a chance to take a photo of the food we ordered as it was demolished as soon as it was given to us! A real gem and incredible, authentic food! Everything was delicious and fresh. So good we visited on 3 separate occasions on a 4 day stay in LA!

Google
I have been to this establishment several times. Quite good cuisine with che and relatively fast service.

Google
Great establishment. Food is quality and isn’t rushed. The workers are kind and even gave us a College of the Canyons discount so if you are from there check the place out. Great service time and we got our food back relatively quick. To top it off, they have a variety of options to share with others that aren’t just tacos and the such.

Google
This is still few store left in Mexican fast food restaurants to give good quality big burritos and make you full most of other places make they burritos half size after Covid -19 Thanks ☺️

Yelp
We stopped by Brick and Flour for an early Sunday dinner and got an order of the carne asada fries, an al pastor torta, and 3 tacos; crispy chicken, house special, and carnitas. The carne asada fries were so good and so BIG! They totally fed 4 people. When eaten fresh, the beer battered fries were crispy and yummy. I really enjoyed the "super" crispy chicken taco and my partner liked the carnitas and house tacos. The torta was just ok but not bad. Overall we were satisfied and fed and the staff was super friendly. We would gladly come back (I wonder if they would ever do carne asada fries with all the toppings on the side so the fries would stay crispy longer). The shop itself has a small parking lot in the back and some outdoor seating. The outdoor seating could be hit or miss though as there were multiple swarming hoards of gnats. Be sure to park in the right lot (there will be signs that say it's brick and flour parking). We will definitely back again to try more menu items.

Yelp
I don't usually leave negative reviews but a few things to consider here at least from my experience . 25 plus minutes for 2 bowls and a burrito , that is way way too long . Watching people who ordered after you get there order first , not good. No communication or acknowledgment that things are behind also not good. So how was the food you ask ? Not as good as it used to be I'll tell you that .

Yelp
It's hard to find good authentic Mexican food in Glendale but this place really hits the spot. I wouldn't call it fully authentic , but more like modern. The FLAVORS however are authentic. The associate who helped me out, Camille, was exceptional. It was a little busy because I think the school had just let out but she kept everything under control with a smile on her face the whole time. It was honestly the best interaction I've had with anyone here.

Yelp
Love this place. Open late, therefore, my go to for late night cravings! Beer battered potatoes are the best!!!!
google avatar

Helen Q.

Yelp
Wowsers! The food portions are huge!!! Well worth the price. Not only is the quantity good, the food taste great. The carne asada is tender and full of flavor. I barely put a dent in my carne fries. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
I just wanted to start with the fact that we were craving nachos and carne asada fries and we weren't expecting anything too extravagant. But this was the best place we could've gone!!! The food was ready on time and the service was good. I tried both their mild and spicy salsa and both were bomb. One of my only complaints is that the place is pretty small and there's not much seating but it's Glendale so what do you expect? But the food!!!! I got the small carne asada fries which had cheese, avocado, diced salsa, and this cilantro avocado aoili (amazing). My gf got the equivalent but with nachos and both were to die for. My gf can't eat cilantro and I put it in the notes during pick up and the staff did a good job ensuring that her meal was cilantro free with any sauces off to the side. The flavors were incredible, and everything was still fresh after a 20 min drive home! I'm very impressed with this place and can't wait to come back to try their entree meals and might even get those fries again....
google avatar

Vanessa E.

Yelp
The food was really good. I loved the pickled veggies in the burrito. The carne asada fries were to die for.

Judit H.

Yelp
Great chicken tacos and any type of burritos. Great to take care a simple family dinner.

Yelp
This place is only poppin because it's open late imo. My carne asada fries barely had any carne asada even though upon opening the large box it gave the illusion that it had more than 2 ounces of meat. The pico on the side comes with chopped jalapeños but they're not spicy and more of a garnish. The guac is mostly pico and also just a small spoonful spread on a third of the box. As you can see from the pictures the large box has more fries than toppings. Not worth the $14 imo. Lastly I asked for no chipotle aioli which I'm glad because the fries come with NACHO cheese. Why not invest in better quality cheese? Also the sour cream must have melted into the nacho cheese because I couldn't find it. I did like the chips and salsa though. The chips are seasoned and freshly fried as they were warm to the bite. The mild salsa is green and is refreshing. The red salsa is spicy but not too spicy tastes like chipotle chiles. Service was quick and friendly but I'm not coming back unless I'm desperate for late night cravings.

Yelp
The one spot that you know you will get the same portions if you DoorDash, eat in person or take it to go. Mexican food that can be found in pasadena! Have seating inside and a few spots on the outside! The cashier & even the kitchen staff are extremely kind, I highly appreciate everyone taking part in making sure the customer experience is great. I always order their carne asada fries. Beware their large is actually pretty big. Personally I think it's enough for 2 people. Highly recommend it if you crave some carne asada fries. My go to spot when I need my carne asada fries fixing !

Yelp
Ordered a carne asada burrito, added guacamole cheese and sour cream and a coke ( $23! ) my burrito was missing the guacamole and cheese. There is only a small amount of meat in said burrito. Burrito was cold because not enough meat and because the ingredients like etc beans etc were not heated. I dined in and ate the burrito right away so it did not sit. This place lets me down every time.
google avatar

Lois J.

Yelp
This establishment never misses the mark. From their carne asada fries to their breakfast burrito and everything in between. I'm not an avocado fan, but their avocado aioli sauce is "chef's kiss" good. On top of the great food, the service is great too!! I frequent them often in Glendale and strongly recommend you do the same.

Yelp
The older Armenian lady with long blonde hair was incredibly helpful when I visited today at 6 pm. Unfortunately, the other workers were not as helpful. We ordered asada nachos with everything on the side, and she did all the work herself to make sure we got all 8 condiments on the side. It was pretty empty, and after waiting for 20 minutes, we had to ask if they had forgotten our order. She kindly asked the cooks, "they have been waiting 20 minutes, is everything okay?" and advocated for us. It's frustrating that it took so long to assemble asada on top of a bed of chips, especially since she had taken on the harder task of putting everything on the side for us in to-go containers. The lady was very friendly to customers, but she seemed to be unnecessarily stressed since she was working with several unhelpful kids who were joking around and talking most of the time. Even though I've been supporting this place for years, I don't think I want to go back because of the unhelpful workers. This helpful woman needs more support from the staff so that she doesn't have to work as hard as she does.

Yelp
This place is a Los Angeles staple! I no longer live in Los Angels, but each time I'm in town, I make sure to stop by. My absolute favorite is the menudo. Be sure to come early on a Sunday because it will run out! I also love the asada burrito, I add extra cheese, because why not! This is a must try if you're in the area!
google avatar

Yelp
AMAZING! 3rd time here and have tried a different burrito each time and have yet to be disappointed! Plus the service is always top notch, today Camille helped me so much. Environment is always efficient and clean. I recommend coming here for a quick pick up or an express eat in. Delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Beer battered fries with carne asada we delicious! It was ALOT of food. Couldn't finish the large.

Kristine C.

Yelp
Rude service today from the woman behind the counter tonight. She needs to take a lesson or two or a hundred on customer service.

Mia V.

Yelp
As a Mexican, I'm a tough critic when it comes to my food. But this place? Total game-changer! Their bowl was a fiesta of flavors, and those loaded tater tots? Pure culinary genius. Highly recommend!

Tyler A.

Yelp
Turbo dank!!! Wonderful delicious tacos I am so excited to come and try the fries next time
google avatar

Isaac H.

Yelp
Pretty good. Ordered a house special taco and a small carne asada fries. The taco didn't look particularly good, but it tasted great. Next time would order carne asada nachos instead. The fried all ended up being a bit too soggy.
google avatar

Sara R.

Yelp
I don't recommend it! The food was extremely cold, and we waited 20 minutes, thinking it would come out hot and fresh. I was so disappointed because nothing looked like the photos posted. And to make matters worse, we saw the cooks eating and making food! That's a huge food hazard, not to mention the risk of cross-contamination. It was such a waste of money!
google avatar

James M.

Yelp
Food is great. BIG portions. Easy to place oreders. Food comes out fresh. Keep in mind its just a little tight and limited space to dine-in but "a must try". Cravings satisfied... we'll be back agaian soon.
google avatar

Nel J.

Yelp
Damn good! Fully loaded with plenty of toppings. The carne asada fries were really good. Melted nacho cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, loaded carne asada, crispy fries. Just damn good. Burritos are huge and well stuffed.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
This place used to be so good but the quality has really dropped. My last order was below average but I thought it was a "one off" and decided to give them another chance, bad idea. Waited over 30m for a carne asada burrito and I figured it would be fresh. Not the case the burrito was lukewarm at best with dry hard meat, wtf?! Last time I eat here.
google avatar

Evgeny U.

Yelp
The tastiest burrito I have ever eaten! Fast and polite service, nice atmosphere and always free parking spots
google avatar

Yelp
TLDR: Casual take out with a pretty killer house burrito. Small place so plan to make it take out. I think if your expectations are medium, you'll be ever so slightly positively surprised. Service was fine for take out. Pros: -Casual Fast, though not actually that fast -Easy to understand menu -Burrito is giant! Cons: -No real seating (fits like 4 people) I can only comment on the House Burrito - Top sirloin roast beef, Spanish rice, pinto beans, house salsa, scallions, and chipotle aioli. Best way to describe it is "solid". All the flavors feel in the right place, making it familiar but slightly elevated without challenging my mood for a traditional burrito too much. They didn't try to reinvent the wheel, just give it a little charm and it works. Would I Return? Rating Def, if I was in the neighborhood. I'd want to try their other options, though near $5 for a taco is a big ask. Unless it's a big taco... will have to see next time!

Yelp
Great simple tacos Fish one is my fav Perfect with horchata Tortas are okay Price is fair
google avatar

Jay V.

Yelp
Way overpriced and WAY overly salted. Tried the carne asada burrito and the carne asada had the gamey type taste of meat that isn't fresh.
google avatar

Erik G.

Yelp
Updating my review from almost 2 years ago. Brick and Flour is great but in the past six months to a year the food has been off a bit. When I used to order takeout my tacos/burritos used to come out always fresh and hot but now it just seems like my orders are not as fresh and the ingredients themselves don't seem fresh. And I'm there 15 minutes after I placed my order so it's not sitting there getting cold. Hope they can make some changes so I can come back.
google avatar

Anat F.

Yelp
The food was very good, we tried few things and all was good. What we didn't like was they is that they take 6% service charge when all you do is pick up the food from the counter. They give you a choice of adding a tip when you pay, but they don't give a choice about the service fee, which doesn't show on the screen when you pay.

Nelly S.

Yelp
Food was amazing and the services was excellent, even though the cashier was the only one at the back counter, she amazing.
google avatar

Catherine Q.

Yelp
Found this place near our airbnb on a trip down to LA! Located on a corner of a busy street so there is some street parking in the neighborhood around the corner. Went to quickly grab food- I didn't see any seating inside so I think it's mainly to-go orders. Short wait time. I got the shrimp bowl!!! Comes with rice, beans, salsa, lettuce and shrimp. The shrimp was so meaty and good!!!! They definitely don't skimp out! Everything was so flavorful and the creamy green sauce on top was very good. Don't think it's the most authentic Mexican spot but with that in mind I would still recommend this place for their bowls if you're in the area.

Yelp
Heard about this place so we decided to try it out myself tried the asada fries and a al pastor & asada very tasty i love the sauce they put in it burrito also ordered crispy chicken burrito, and a order of asada fries ..we will be back...

Yelp
Amazing little spot in glendale! First time here. Ordered the carne asada fries (9/10), Shrimp taco (11/10!!!) and al pastors tacos(8.5/10). Salsas tasted authentic and spicy , they even serve bottle beer! Would come again.
google avatar

Natalie D.

Yelp
My friend recommended I try this place, and I was not disappointed! I got the large beer-battered carne asada fries and the thick fries were great! The portion was generous for the price as well (was able to share and be satisfied), and the employee that helped me out was super friendly and kind :) would definitely come back!
google avatar

Claire S.

Yelp
So delicious! Came here to try their carne asada fries after seeing some photos here on Yelp. The fries did not disappoint! We also got the house special tacos. Unfortunately they didn't make it in time for the photo because they were so good. There are also tables in the back, past the restroom. Parking isn't too bad either. Definitely would recommend stopping by.

Catherine ..

Yelp
Friendly customer service. Place is clean and carne asada is flavorful. Would give it a 5, but we waited a little bit.

Yelp
"Brick & Flour offers the best steak fries in town at a great price. This hidden gem is a hole in the wall that has won over the hearts of many, including my mother, who absolutely loves their steak fries. If you're looking for a delicious and affordable treat, Brick & Flour is the place to go!"
google avatar

Peter L.

Yelp
Fresh ingredients, No parking available Mostly takeouts, very limited seating Try the fish tacos
google avatar

Jacque B.

Yelp
Big portions, pretty good food. Service is good as well! Ambiance is pick up and go. I like it but I don't love it. I think that's cuz I will always prefer taco trucks over anything else taco related.
google avatar

Bagrat K.

Yelp
For a late night snack. It is well Worth it. Open late night cravings. They have plenty of different type of food on the menu!
google avatar

Katie G.

Yelp
We chose this place because of the amazing pictures. We were visiting Los Angeles and wanted some Mexican food. We drove an hour out of the way because we thought the food looks phenomenal. The photographer that took those photos deserve an award. The food wasn't as good as the pictures depict. The carne asada fries have nacho cheese on them . That was a surprise. I think I like carne asada fries better without nacho cheese. The food is average. Also you cannot dine in , so we ate in our car .
google avatar

Monica N.

Yelp
Pretty average food - surprised by the # of reviews. The photos on here look great but when you actually eat the food, it doesn't feel like I'm eating anything special or cohesive, it feels like I'm eating separate ingredients that happen to be placed into a wrap or in a bowl. Protein in both the asada fries and burrito felt oily. Asada fries are drowned at the bottom of the bowl in liquid cheese. I also agree with another reviewer here - It's Nacho cheese! Why not use a Mexican blend for more flavors, or something more authentic?? House Special Burrito wasn't memorable. Interior feels like a hole-in-the-wall situation with not much tables to sit down at. Though there is a window counter with seating. It gives the vibe that it's very much a to-go place. Overall, I wouldn't go back.
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
My go to for Mexican food in my neighborhood. The fish bowl, no rice, extra beans is perfect. At times, the pieces of fish vary quite a bit in size. Sometimes large portion, other times like today very small. Not sure if that's supplier issue or an in-store issue. Regardless, I'm a fan. Super friendly staff. Good salsas. Definitely hits the spot.
google avatar

Sylva G.

Yelp
The burritos are so delicious, portions are big, very satisfying. Parking easy free in the back prices also affordable. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Panchara S.

Yelp
Fantastic Food at solid prices and great service. I don't know what else to say. You've gotta try it for yourself. Believe the hype.

Michael P.

Yelp
Fast and friendly. The burritos are two-mealers. They're messy because they are stuffed and juicy. I've had the carne asada and the breakfast burritos. I'm from New England, so I feel that I'm speaking WAY out-of-turn talking about flavor in Southwest cuisine, but I've had more-flavorful fare than this. But I'll try to add some of their salsa next time - cuz there will be a next time, onaccounta they're within walking distance of the office and a good deal!

J S.

Yelp
Tasty food. Reasonable prices. Welcoming and polite employees. Nice atmosphere, too! I go there at least once a week

Yelp
Brick and Flour in Glendale is my go-to spot for some serious delicious Mexican food! I can't get enough of their carne asada burritos and bowls. The laid-back vibe also makes it the perfect place. Camille was also extremely helpful and has an amazing energy. Please keep up the great service!!! 10/10
