"The Brick Bar is an unofficial Lego-themed pop-up that’s scheduled to pass through town on July 10 and 11. Assembled from over a million Lego blocks, the bar will feature life-size interactive sculptures that include a DJ booth, wishing well, and ping-pong table. There will be plenty of bricks on hand to build your own creations, with prizes given to the best constructions. The pop-up’s exact location and ticket price have yet to be announced, but when The Brick Bar stopped in Philadelphia last year, admission was $25. Curious folks can pre-register for more information. Food and drink will be available to purchase on site, ranging from burgers on colorful brick-shaped buns and cocktails served in brick-shaped cups." - Candice Woo

This place was very cool! Had Sunday brunch here. The food was incredible. I had an amazing BLT w avocado. The black bean soup chip dip was incredible but the best part was the house music being spun by live djs. There were several DJ 's. The only one whose name I got was DJ Jag, but they were all great. We'll definitely be back.

Part of the fun of Bamboo Lounge is it seems to be something else every time you go in. They try to keep the place fresh but it maintains a nice, laid-back atmosphere. Different groups hold functions occasionally and they have different themed days, but on just a regular day it's a nice place to grab a drink. Make sure to hit their back patio.

LOVE this place! Just had girls sunday brunch here and the food and service was AMAZING! It is NOT closed and totally still open for business! The facebook page and yelp info is a little misleading. They also open 10-2 for brunch but just in case I would call ahead to make sure :) Someone may want to adjust that on their business page ;) ;) ;) Bamboo lounge is in the patio section of the "Brick bar" and it is super tranquil and cute!! Seating is limited though! The bottomless Mimosas are really what brought us but we stayed for the drinks, delicious food, atmosphere and the employees were just spectacular! I love this place and you will definitely find me here again!

I went on a date here once. Midweek. It was pretty empty which made for less distractions BUT they were short a few items. Despite having sushi on their menu, they didnt have any. And they were also out of wheat beers. However, it totally redeemed itself by having some gnarly art in the back and the bartender was super nice.

The Bamboo Lounge is a really community oriented space / restaurant / wine bar in Hillcrest. I've been on several boards of non profit organizations that have held events at Bamboo Lounge and they've always come through on execution. Now, all of that aside, the brunch here is ridiculously good. Anything with a Mexican flair is what I'm going to eat. Delicious.

This place has great food, great drinks, and great music. They play old kung fu movies all the time and their prices are fabulous! Most importantly, Bamboo Lounge is the hottest place in San Diego to meet cool transgender people! Trans girls love Bamboo Lounge!

Went here with my fiance for sushi during happy hour. We got 4 specialty rolls. They tasted great... until we got food poisoning. Will never return.
