Great food and amazing vibe. Felt like we were dining back in the '30s with the smooth jazz and beautiful interior. One complaint we had was our plates weren't the cleanest, however this was quickly forgotten as our server brought us free canolis for having given us our pizza "too late" (We didn't think it was late at all!).

Went here with 2 kids after visiting the whaling museum. This pizza was perfectly crisp and full of flavor and it’s clear they make their own dough.

Came for dinner for the 1st time and was very happy that I could get vegan cheese and pretty much any veggie I wanted on my pizza 🍕! It was delicious and it was nice to be able to sit out next to my bike 😁🏍️. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I definitely recommend stopping in for a bite and a drink. 😎👍🏼🏍️💨💨

Google
we have loved this place since day 1!! My partner and I met downtown and used to frequent a few great spots around the area, brick included! the pizza itself is expensive, but well worth it in all honesty. there's an outlet by the windows as well as flyers for different events around the city. the staff have always been pretty upbeat & pleasant to talk with. we took my sister prior to her brain surgery last week, after us not having visited for a good while- still as great as it ever was! we tried the ice cream this time around which was pretty rich in taste. I enjoy that we can chat, play some Go Fish or draw in my sketchbook while eating pizza and they truly don't mind. We will definitely return again some day soon 💚

Google
If you have a short or long stay in New Bedford this place is a must do. We did takeout of a salad and two sandwiches. The weight of the salad was indicative of its quality, a wide variety of ingredients all super fresh. The single salad was enough for two of us to share. We both got tuna sandwiches and the tuna mix had a mix of seasoning, herbs, and dressing and no mayo. Great food at a low price considering the taste and freshness.

Google
We love this pizza! Consistently delicious and the best gluten free pizza around!

Google
Best pizza in the city, hands down! The dough is so fresh and also the ingredients. You can actually taste the difference in the texture of the pizza dough. 🍕 The people that work there are very cool, mostly quiet, and focused on crafting great pizza right there in front of you. There is a brick oven that does the job right there for all to see. If you want the freshest pizza you should definitely stop by Brick!

Google
I tried a chicken pesto pizza with tomatoes and was not disappointed! It had a thin crispy crust and everyone in the family loved the sourdough flavor. Very satisfying and family friendly.

Yelp
A great pizza place with homemade and fresh dough!!!! Super cozy with old timey music playing and friendly staff. The margherita pizza was delicious and I ate it in one sitting!!!! The hot honey ham sandwich was super fresh and a delight to enjoy. If you're looking from some fresh and good pizza, you know where to go in New Bedford!

Yelp
Best Brick Oven Buffalo Chicken Pizza in the world period. I go there often and just love this pizza. I have tried brick oven pizza from other places but this location makes the best one. If you ever want to try it make sure you ask them not to include Gorgonzola (Blue Cheese replacement)

Yelp
Things have changed. Once one of my favorites, but the ingredients and attention to detail have slipped. The cheese once fresh, now has an overbearing bitter taste. Ordered two pizzas both under cooked one even had the gum line present. Would consider returning if mgr reverted back to the orginal quality

Yelp
Very expensive ok+ pizza at counter service get-your-own to-go joint. Had chicken pizza and meat pizza. It's really a lot for the price, especially for all the other options in the area. I'm surprised everyone loves this place so much. Also my chicken pizza tasted like sausage since I'm thinking they slice through the sausage pizza all day and it's throughout the entire chicken pizza-you may as well add sausage at that point. It's an awful aftertaste if you are expecting chicken pizza. Or it just tastes like off-chicken. Whichever is not good. Dough v sour. But charred perfectly! There aren't many toppings, though the pizza itself wouldn't hold much more-it's soggy knife-fork pizza. I left hungry and had to go eat a second lunch.

Yelp
Hands down our favorite in the area. My son loves it and won't consider other pizza since finding Brick a few years ago.

Yelp
Best Damn Pizza I've never New England ... yep, I truly love this pizza!!! Always delicious, always fresh! Flavor of crust is spot on. Owner is hands on and staff is great!

Yelp
We get their pizza delivered a few times a month. It is always good. Not sure what the restaurant is like because I have not been.
google avatar

Yelp
Pizza is excellent and it took about 5 minutes from order to table. Great service. Pizza is cooked in an actual brick oven. No commercial oven here.

Luana E.

Yelp
Great pizza with a verity of flavors to choose from. Special shout-out to amazing salads too! The service was so friendly and quick. Cute little patio on the side with seating. This place is child friendly and i'm excited to go back.

Yelp
I always liked Brick pizza, but boy, oh boy, have they thrown in the towel. Place is filthy dirty and gave me the sceeves last time I went. It really feels like they simply don't care anymore. It's too bad, because back in the day, it was such a unique little spot with very good pizza. Would not give it another try anytime soon.

Yelp
Lots of good at this place. We went during a neighborhood block party (bands, street closed off, etc.), so it was crazy busy, but they did a great job of moving people in and out. Service was fast. I'd really have to go back to get a more realistic experience. The pizzas are one size. Four of us split three pizzas, so we had three slices each. COULD I have eaten a fourth slice? Yes, but I'm a big eater. I didn't leave hungry. Pizzas were tasty. Crispy, and not too blackened, which can happens with the brick oven places. Great topping choices and combos. I had an Old Brown Dog Ale that was also delicious.

Yelp
I've been going to this location for years and always have my usual pizza. This was the first time I have ever been disappointed. My usual pizza order was lacking in toppings. Cheese was reduced to small strips here and there. Sausage topping was about one per slice. It was basically bread covered in bland tomato sauce where once in a while you'd get a hint of cheese with your bite. I get because of "InFlAsHuN" that cost of goods has gone up. I don't mind paying extra for a pizza because I understand the issue. But, don't charge me more and start serving me pizza with far less toppings because that just leaves you with one less customer.

Yelp
This restaurant really hit different . We always told ourself we wanted to do food reviews and this finally pushed us past the line. walked in 25 minutes after our pizza had already been made , let me tell you them boys were bone cold couldn't say what magic they used but them pies were bussinn. The flavor , the char , the nice lil dance it made us do after taking the first bite 10/10. We're no professional but we can confidently let you know this a top spot in mass. Cant really speak on the atmosphere as it was a quick pick up but from the short time we were there staff was friendly , the interior was clean and spotless with the crisp aroma of a brick oven . Truly a fantastic spot for pizza

Yelp
Absolutely superlative Neapolitan style pizza. Chewy, soft, roasty crust topped with imported and fresh ingredients, served in under 5 minutes. The spinoci was perfectly balanced with fresh spinach, roasted reds and calamata olives nestled into a web of goat and mozzarella cheeses. Their speed to quality ratio is unmatched.

Robert M.

Yelp
This has gone way down hill. Usually its overworked and understaffed young people just throwing things together. No care or love for what they are doing and Unfortuantely it shows through the product. The inside is cold and quiet. There was a street kid inside asking people to use their phone; the young girl working clearly not able to get him out. It was a weird experience and disappointing given how great this place used to be. Sad.

Scott S.

Yelp
Fast excellent light perfect individual size pizza. I had read some reviews about poor service and I wouldn't disagree with how they respond to people but I would say your eating at a pizza joint, it's not a dining experience. If you are looking for more than really good pizza, it's not for you.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite after getting off the ferry. Brick is a quaint little pizzeria with some very fun decor. Prices are VERY reasonable, with many pies being under 12. Dining area is medium sized, and they also have three outdoor seats. The staff is super super friendly. I've had a hard time hearing because of masks, and the server didn't show any annoyance in repeating himself, which I appreciated. They also clearly follow COVID guidelines, which made for a comfortable dining experience. We opted for a specialty pizza consisting of artichoke, spinach, red pepper, and mozzarella. DELICIOUS. Served to us leas than ten minutes after ordering. Could be more generous with toppings, but the flavor was there. The sauce, while light, had a nice robust flavor. I'd have preferred an extra couple minutes in the oven, so next time I'll definitely ask for it well done.

Yelp
During some downtime in New Bedford, I ventured off to find Blaze pizza. I wasn't sure what to order but I ended up going with their meatball pizza. It turned out to be a pretty solid choice with a healthy serving of cheese and onion. The meatball was evenly scattered as well. I think I was most impressed by their dough, which did a good job on its promise of being a Neapolitan style pizza. It was soft but also crispy and managed to have a bit of that fresh fired flavor. Service was also amazingly quick for a fresh custom pizza. Stop in if you find yourself in a need of a quick bite!!

Yelp
Tried this place when I was the area, and it was good. Dough was soft and cooked perfectly. Sauce and all the toppings including cheese was good. Could of used a little more sauce, but it didn't take away from the flavor at all. All the pizza were one size cut into four slices, so it's more of a personal pizza more than a shareable size. Prices were definitely fair for what you get, only complaint would be the fountain soda was very weak and tasted like seltzer water. Other than that, it's a good place and I definitely recommend to try it.

Yelp
We just got off a Nantucket ferry around dinner time and we're craving pizza. What a find! Delicious pizza, simple ingredients in the brick oven and done in a few minutes. The ricotta was extra creamy and made my pizza perfect!

Yelp
Pizza was small. I ordered two pizzas and they both had burned parts on it. By the time I was done eating it my teeth were black. Me and my fiance will never order here again

Yelp
Food was good and fun...waiter was the problem... we were finishing up at 6:30 in a Saturday night and there were a few groups waiting which is to be expected on a saturday night at that time...we asked for our bill twice...upon getting it while we were finishing up our drinks and cannole...the waiter asked us to take care of it because people were waiting and he needed the real estate... wow...I still had half a beer left and we were being pushed out the door...so rude..so sad..and our kids loved the nutella pizza!!!
google avatar

Jane M.

Yelp
Dartmouth location- superb light fresh pizza-- they are small! If you are hungry, you could eat the whole thing by yourself--but--be warned-- we ordered 2 pizzas with extra ingredients-which we paid for, but did not receive. That's not nice.
google avatar

Yelp
I like this place, mostly because they have dairy free options. The food is anywhere from decent- absolutely delicious. The service is kind of like you would get anywhere else these days... you know people who don't REALLY want to work, you walk in their glued to their cellphones and you have ruined their day by walking in and giving them business... lol but again I feel that this is the service you get anywhere in 2023.. overall if you're going to eat out these days I would recommend this place.

Marc U.

Yelp
The pizza as a nice change from other area restaurants. Nice crust and fresh veggies. I ordered the pizza to be ready in 20 minutes, unfortunately it was cold. When I called they said it would be ready in 8 minutes, somebody didn't listen or communicate my request. The store was clean and the associates very nice.

Yelp
Can't get enough of the fresh salads and pizza Brick offers! Always pleasant staff and food is delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
I've now been gluten free for more than 10 years. Brick still has the best gluten free pizza I've found anywhere in Massachusetts and is tied for the best gluten free pizza money can buy (with Don Antonio in NYC).
google avatar

Courtney D.

Yelp
Good and quick, brick-oven pizza! There's also an outdoor patio area that is nice to sit and enjoy your meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Things have changed, but still a 5* restaurant. They no longer offer table service. You have to order at the counter and find your own seat. Sometimes, they will bring your food to you when it is ready, and sometimes you have to go up to the counter and get it yourself. The wine is still a good deal if you happen to get a freshly opened bottle (red), but is rather poor if the bottle was opened a few days ago. The pizza is as good as ever, but as with everything else here, there is no consistency. Last night my pizza had very little meat compared to most other times I have been here. We often order an order of meatballs as an appetizer. Most of the time, they are really good (especially the sauce), but occasionally, they are hard and overcooked. Chances are that you will end up getting great food and service here, but once in a while things end up less than perfect.

Yelp
Lived in Naples, IT for a few years. Best pizza I've had since. Staff was friendly and helpful

A K.

Yelp
The pizza was good overall. I thought that there was room for improvement in the pizza sauce itself. Also if they add just a little more cheese it would great. That said, I will return!
google avatar

Yelp
Been meaning to stop here for ages and was finally able to! I ordered at the counter and had my pizza in less than 5 minutes; I ordered the Meat Baller and found it tasty. I would've preferred it to be a little more charred, but now I know to ask for it well-done next time! Service was friendly and I found the price to be fair...be aware that these are definitely pizzas sized for 1-2 people though, so it could get quite costly if you're trying to order for a crowd. Service was really friendly. I will definitely be back, but I'm not sure I would rush back.

Karla J.

Yelp
Ok, the food was above average. Had the house salad and it was fine and my pizza was good. My issue involves the service. There were two females working in the front and when we walked in they were obnoxiously shouting about a messed up door dash order. Throughout our meal we heard about this small mishap. They were name calling this customer and it was overall unnecessary and annoying. When we were finished I asked for a box and felt like I was a major inconvenience. My girlfriend and I stood up and I asked if we should leave the plates on the table (which is fairly normal at a restaurant or food establishment). There also was no sign of a dish bin or a place on the counter to return the dishes. When I asked this question the same women wearing a shirt that said "nope not today" aggressively said "nope, they go over there". She then pointed to a corner behind tables. Her tone was appalling to make us feel as if we are acting entitled. She immediately started whispering with her coworker and staring at us. Food good but that girl ruined experience.

Steven G.

Yelp
Went to a show at a nearby theater and stopped at this place. The food was not bad at all but the one thing that we really didn't like was how dirty their glasses and plates were! My wife ordered a glass of wine which was served in a filthy canning jar. The plates that our food came on had some food stuck on them from previous diners! I don't care how good the food is, let's start with clean dishes or us paper/plastic! People walk in and look at a paper menu then put it back for someone else to look at. Silverware wrapped in a napkin and put in a bucket on each table, complete lack of service!

Yelp
Pizza we picked up within 20 minutes was cold and very unappetizing... yuck....today was a cheat day and want worth it!!!

Morgan S.

Yelp
It's very hit or miss. I've been here before and the pizza and sandwiches have been amazing. The service has always been terse and slightly subpar. Today the pizza was fine. Service was fine. But when I ordered a Prosecco it was serve with a mason jar (WTF? Why serve sparkling wine if you don't have the right glass?) and the mason jar was dirty. I wiped it out with a napkin and it looked like old coffee grinds or something inside because the napkin was all brown. That's gross and unappealing. Again, pizza was okay. It was cheap. And it filled me up. I drank the Prosecco out of the bottle at that point (mini single serve bottle) because I couldn't be bothered to get another mason jar, clean or not.

Yelp
Whoa "it's been a while" since I've stopped into Brick, but the other day I got a hankering that couldn't be shook. Thought about calling in but I live downtown and I like to have a beer while I wait for my food, so I popped in and ordered my pizzas- a margarita and a spinaci (spinach, olives, roasted red peppers, and goat cheese). I saw some friends on the way in and stopped to chat, glad I didn't end up getting that beer because damn those cooks were fast! Seriously, about five minutes from placing my order I was ready to go. I have to admit I was nervous because I didn't recognize any of the cooks. Thought maybe they couldn't hold a flame ;) to the usual crew. Boy was I worried for nothing. Pizza was perfect. Just crispy enough to hold up with the toppings, but not an uncle cracker. As always the sauce and homemade mozzarella were impeccable, and the sour dough crust was potent. Have always loved Brick and continue to. It stacks up to (and beats) the other Napoletana places I've been to across the Northeast.
google avatar

Yelp
Nutella dessert pizza is a stunner. Crust is tender and pillowy with a great chew. Pizzas cook-up quick in just 5 minutes. Great cheese and high quality toppings.

Yelp
Nothing great I honestly don't like it don't like this kind of pizza I am a huge pizza fan one of my favorite foods of all Time and just not a fan don't like The flavor of there pizza at all

Weh H.

Yelp
Ok. So. Not the best pizza I've ever had. Lacked flavor overall, but better once I put salt on it. I will say that the jalapeño poppers as an appetizer were very good. What really made this place??? Erin the waitress. She will forever be someone we remember. Hilarious and personable. I wish we lived locally so we could hang out. Would recommend going just to meet her. She is clearly a local favorite as was evidenced by the number of people who walked past her and said hello.

Yelp
SO good AKD amazing value!! Brick always has parking in the historical district and the pizzas are ridiculously good as well as fast.. staff very friendly and the value for your dollar is amazing The Carne is out of this world as is The Margarita Very clean and spacious dining area as well My fav pizza in the area

Yelp
The food. I ordered a red pizza with caramelized onions, pepperoni, and sausage. OMG. My expectations were low just based on what it looked like when it arrived. OMG. It was AMAZING. Who knew caramelized onions on pizza could be so good? The sauce, crust, and other toppings were also really good. Beverages. They seem to have a wide variety of offerings in the way of beverages. I wasn't in a drinking mood, so I ordered a Coke. OMG. It tasted like vaguely carbonated brown tap water. No joke. I probably should've asked if it was fresh out of a can before letting the waitress get on her way. It was definitely fountain soda. Gags. I sent the Coke back. The waitress was kind enough to bring me a bottled Coke instead. Waitress for the win. Customer service is great. I was greeted straight away by a cook (that went a long way in my book; it tells me that EVERYBODY on the team cares about the customers, not just FOH staff.). Also, the waitress replacing my fountain soda with a bottled Bev, without issue, was mad nice. When I was ready to go it took mad long for me to get the waitresses attention. I guess that's everywhere, though. Whatev. Atmosphere. I hated the music overhead. It was invasive. They were playing some whack r&b from 2003 (think Ashanti). It I would've preferred for the music to be at a much lower volume and for them to have been playing something more ambiguous, like instrumentals or something. It put a damper on the experience and I was itching to eat and break the hell out.

Yelp
This is a great little Neapolitan pizza joint in downtown New Bedford. The pizzas cooks fast in a very hot woodfired oven. The dough has a sourdough type flavor to it and is delicious. It is kind of a casual atmosphere even other product is a bit nicer than casual. You can also put whatever you want on the pizza and they don't act all dick-ish about it. We just wanted a snack so we got an order of meatballs and a white mushroom and chicken pizza ( I forget what it was called on the menu). The meatballs werent outstanding but were still very good and totally worth it. The pizza was tasty, cooked nicely and have lots of leoparding and black spots like you look for on this type of pizza. Everybody was friendly as well. Five star experience overall.

Yelp
Whether you are Downtown New Bedford or at Route 6 Fairhaven, the pizza is out of this world. Creative, fresh, and great service. One of my favs.

Yelp
Pizza lovers rejoice! If you have high standards for dining experiences in general, Brick will exceed all your expectations - you'll get divine, personal pizzas served by warm, friendly staff in a cozy atmosphere. The first time I ever came here I got the carmine pizza, which has ruined other pizzas for me. Brick achieves greatness in its simplicity - fresh, perfectly portioned ingredients will top your oven baked pizza (the carmine has caramelized onion, roasted garlic pieces - they don't skimp! - and gorgonzola). The crust is just the right thickness - with the perfect amount of crisp on the outside and a satisfying, chewy dough. On a different visit, I had a red pizza (don't remember which one). Rather than drowning in soggy bread from oversaucing, they showed some restraint, allowing the flavors of the ingredients to come out quite nicely. On a random note, my once a year soda happened here and I'm glad it did because they serve the oh so delicious Boylan cane sugar pops and the cream soda option hit the spot. My most recent visit was superb. Got the Pollo Rosto (subbed the gorgonzola for roasted garlic) and it was heavenly. My friend stuck with his tried and true Napoli - a gem of a pizza - with beautifully sliced prosciutto that had the right texture and was just the right amount of salt (not too much). Ended the meal with a cannoli. Lightly sweet, just the way I like it. Open up a location in Boston, pretty please?

Yelp
I'm from California and we are staying close by visiting family. Stopped in for lunch the other day and this was the best gluten free pizza I've ever had hands down! I felt like I was eating real crust for the first time in years. Also had the chopped salad which was super fresh and delicious Server was nice Can't wait to come back before I go home I wish this was in California

Yelp
Here's the thing that not many people seem to realize about New Bedford: aside from the somewhat scary underbelly that seems to taint every corner of the city, it's pretty cool. The great local businesses that are popping up in clusters are definitely worth your time, and Brick especially. This pizza, kids -- it's perfection. I can wolf down an entire margherita pie by myself in under 5 minutes. It's that effing delish. The crust is a perfect mix of crispy and pillowy, and the sourdough flavor sends me into a blissed-out stupor. My other favorite? The rucola -- a white pizza with fresh mozz, prosciutto, and arugula topped with olive oil and lemon juice. Now, I'll admit I was a bit apprehensive to order a pizza without sauce, but only because their sauce is SO GOOD. You can taste the quality of the tomatoes in this bright, fresh masterpiece -- I could probably slurp down a vat of this sauce if they let me. Anyway, I was not the least bit disappointed in the lack of sauce on the rucola as the flavors were so totally perfectly balanced I almost ordered another to take home with me. Absolutely delicious. The space is cozy and casual -- nothing fancy or precious about it. They offer a lot of different pizzas, as well as salads, calzones and desserts. Gluten-free? No worries: all pies and calzones can be made with GF dough for just $2 more. Sweet.

Yelp
Well that was pretty tasty. After seeing all the great reviews we decided to give Brick Pizzeria Napoletana a try. They were doing a good business but we were easily able to get a table. This place is fairly small so I can see there being a wait during peak hours. To my husband's dismay there were no draft beers, but they had a full complement of Buzzards Bay Brewing 22 oz bottles. The wine list was decent and I went with the Barbera which I enjoyed. We started with the Spiedini, which is prosciutto wrapped around mozzarella and served over arugula. The prosciutto was a bit salty, but that is to be expected. I'm not sure if I would order this again. I think I would prefer a salad. The pizzas are 12 inches. Since this was our first visit we decided to order two and bring home the extra. We ordered a white pizza, the Napoli, which had prosciutto, mushrooms, basil and asiago. For a red pizza we ordered a margherita and added sausage and roasted garlic. The pizza had a nice thin, crispy crust and a sourdough tang. I did prefer the red pizza. If I lived in the area I could see this being my regular pizza place. I would definitely visit again if I were looking for pizza while in New Bedford.

Yelp
Brick Pizzeria Napoletana is so good you'd think it were in New York or Providence, one of the major "Pizza Cities" in the US... but if you did you'd be wrong. Brick is located on good 'ol Union Street in New Bedford, right between Destination Soups and a cute little women's clothing store. My husband and I popped in on a whim and we ate a delicious, complete meal at a very reasonable price. We ordered two small salads to start, I got the spinach and he got the chopped one and both were tasty and served with a side of sour dough bread. For our main course we split the Capricciosa, a brick oven pie with prosciutto, olives, and artichokes. One pie is definitely enough for two but you probably won't have any leftovers, especially if you don't order an appetizer to start. For drinks, I got a cider and he got a beer and I was a little disappointed to receive my drink from a can but I guess they don't have much on tap yet. Great food, nice location, will definitely be back in the future.
