First Look: Inside Ch’i, Brickell’s New Chinese-Latin Restaurant and Bar | Eater Miami

"Inside Brickell City Centre I found a massive 12,000-square-foot, four-in-one outpost from Grove Bay Hospitality Group and Breakwater Hospitality Group that blends contemporary Chinese food with Latin twists, drinks, and music. The space is divided into the garden, the Mercado, the lounge, and the main dining room and features three bars, two DJ booths, and multiple lounge and dining areas. Guests enter through the Mercado, which is modeled on Asian markets and offers casual counter-service soups, salads, bao, rotisserie and wok items amid retro neon signs, floor-to-ceiling walls lined with antiques, and video games. In the back is the Lounge, which showcases two large murals by Mallory Dawn on a mirrored wall, more than 150 paper lanterns overhead, and a full cocktail program with bottle service. The main dining room presents chef Rafael Perez Cambana’s contemporary Chinese menu with Latin spins—highlights include ropa vieja spring rolls, Peking duck tacos, shrimp enchilada dumplings, and a 32-ounce porterhouse steak served with lemongrass-ginger chimichurri—under crystal chandeliers, columns lined with tropical palm-fond wallpaper, large floral murals, and jewel-tone decor. The outdoor terrace garden offers an island bar, cabana seating, and a large-scale light installation intertwined with greenery; the Mercado menu is available during the daytime, while nights bring DJs and a more lounge-like atmosphere. Ch’i is open daily inside Brickell City Centre at 701 South Miami Avenue, with the Mercado and garden open 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Sunday–Wednesday and 11 a.m.–3 a.m. Thursday–Saturday, and the dining room and lounge open 6 p.m.–10 p.m. Sunday–Wednesday and 6 p.m.–3 a.m. Thursday–Saturday." - Olee Fowler

Take a Look Around Brickell’s New 40,000-Square-Foot Food Hall - Eater Miami

Google
Brickell City Centre is one of Miami’s most impressive mixed-use destinations, combining shopping, dining, and entertainment in a sleek, modern environment. The architecture alone makes it worth a visit—the open-air design, layered walkways, and striking "Climate Ribbon" give the entire complex a bright, breezy feel that sets it apart from typical malls. It’s spacious, easy to navigate, and visually stunning, especially in the evenings when the lighting creates a warm, vibrant atmosphere. The retail mix is well curated, with a blend of luxury boutiques, contemporary brands, and practical everyday stores. Whether you’re browsing high-end fashion or just picking up essentials, there’s a good variety for different budgets and tastes. The dining options are equally strong, ranging from casual cafés to more upscale restaurants, many of which offer outdoor seating with great views of the surrounding Brickell skyline. The movie theater is a nice bonus, and the overall layout makes it simple to turn a quick errand into a relaxed afternoon. It’s also very clean and well maintained, and the staff throughout the shops and common areas are generally friendly and helpful. Overall, Brickell City Centre is a stylish, convenient, and enjoyable place to shop, dine, or simply explore and one of the standout shopping hubs in downtown Miami. Several hotels offer valet parking (around $27) and self-parking is around $7 an hour.

Brickell City Centre is AMAZING! One of the most beautiful malls I’ve ever been to. It feels modern, stylish, and super upscale without being overwhelming. The architecture is stunning, the stores are top-tier, and the whole place has such a clean, luxurious vibe. You can shop, eat, walk around, and just enjoy the energy of Brickell everything is so well-designed. It’s the perfect mix of city life and high-end shopping. Loved every second here!

Google
I had a good time checking out all the stores. The architecture. Very popular to take photos. It's convenient as well, with all the surrounding cafes and restaurants. For visitors, it's a nice area to spend the entire day with access to a train that can take you to the Bay Area and back to Brickell.

Google
Love Brickell City Centre! Brickell City Centre is one of my favorite places in Miami! The mall has so many of my favorite brands all in one place, and the atmosphere is so elegant and modern. It’s the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. I love spending the day shopping and then grabbing a bite at one of the many great restaurants — there’s something for every taste. It’s also a great spot to meet friends or just relax and people-watch. Whether you’re shopping, dining, or just hanging out, Brickell City Centre always feels like a treat.

Google
It is one of the most impressive shopping and lifestyle destinations in Miami. Located in the heart of the Brickell neighborhood, this upscale mall offers a perfect mix of luxury shopping, dining, and entertainment in a sleek, modern setting. The architecture and design are stunning, with open-air walkways, natural light, and a very Miami vibe. It’s a great place to shop high-end brands, browse unique boutiques, or just enjoy the atmosphere. The variety of restaurants, cafés, and rooftop bars makes it just as much a dining spot as a shopping destination. It’s conveniently connected to the Metromover, making it easy to access without worrying about parking. Whether you’re looking to shop, grab a nice meal, or just stroll through a beautiful space, Brickell City Centre is one of the best places to visit in Miami.

Brickell City Centre is a great spot for shopping, dining, and just soaking up the city vibe. Everything is modern and clean, and there are tons of options for food and stores. Definitely a must-visit in Miami! ♥️

Google
If you like environments that are lively, stylish, walkable, and with a lot of variety in one place, Brickell City Centre delivers. It has the feel of a modern downtown hub — good for shopping, eating, people-watching, and spending several hours doing things you enjoy. It’s not always quiet or cheap, but for what it offers (location + architecture + amenities + dining + retail variety), many visitors find it exceeds expectations. For a casual afternoon, a dinner out, or just wandering through, it’s worth a stop.

Yelp
I love that City Centre is conveniently located right off of the Metro mover. There's a variety of stores and eateries. So many of my favs. And Im typically greeted with great service. My most recent trip was to stop into Saks to make an exchange and to grab some more fragrances. One of my guilty pleasures. Also popped into Bath and body for more candles because I have to stay stocked up always! Especially when there's a sale. Lol. Zara also has some great new fall pieces, so I'm glad I was able to grab a few. If you're visiting or local and love a good shopping experience with everything you need in one place, here you go!
google avatar

Yelp
It was a huge mall. This place was nice but expensive. There were many restaurants but I was hoping they have a food hall. It was a very busy mall.

Yelp
STUNNING DESIGN!!! Brickell City Centre is a gorgeous spot to dine, shop and play. There is so much to see and the whole design of this space is breathtaking. I love the outdoor feel and vibe. They have a wonderful selection of retail and dining options. Wish Brickell City Centre was closer but probably best it isn't so I'm not spending money all day here. Ha. Been to several places here: * Rodilla * Puttshack * Apple * Anthropologie * Abercrombie & Fitch * Britto * Calzedonia * Coach * Express Edit * H&M * Jo Malone London * MAC * Nespresso * Nike by Brickell * Nini and Loli * Psycho Bunny * Sephora * Sugar * Sur La Table * Tumi Everything about this place feels BOUGIE AF!!! My favorite spots here are definitely Rodilla, Puttshack and Sur La Table. Rodilla is a cute little bakery with good eats and coffee. Puttshack is such a fun spot with family or friends, they serve food & drinks here too and the food is pretty damn good. Sur La Table is a favorite store to wander into as I love cooking and anything kitchen related. This Sur La Table location also offers cooking classes too so that's a bonus. Brickell City Centre is located in the heart of Brickell and within walking distance to so many places. If you're in the area, check them out. It's worth it just to admire the sheer beauty of this space and amazing selections of EVERYTHING!!! I am totally and utterly in love with this place and could literally hang out here all damn day. No joke.
google avatar

Nicole P.

Yelp
It was my first time here and there are so many stores and restaurants. I really enjoyed it and the people watching. I checked out some stores like Zara, Sephora, H&M etc. They were all very spacious and organized. I liked the selection of restaurants that were offered as well. I would definitely check out city centre again.
google avatar

Yelp
In an era where America's malls seem to be declining, BCC is an example of a shopping mall still thriving and adding life to the community. Aside from the amazing selections of stores that seems to be growing by the month (H&M just opened - Nespresso coming soon!!), I love how they incorporate community free community events for the benefit of locals. From free Santa photos, to fitness classes, to celebrating Hispanic heritage month, there's always something fun going on that keeps BCC a lively place to be.
google avatar

Yelp
Brickell City Centre is a year round destination. It has great shopping and dining but it's also a wonderful place to just walk around. You can be essentially outdoors year round- fabulous people walking, you will hear countless different languages spoken, and it's lovely to look at.
google avatar

Alaleh P.

Yelp
I love the modern architecture and splendid view of Brickell and of course the variety of shopping options available here. The mall is well-maintained and clean and the security is present in all floors to make sure of everyone's safety. The staff of the stores I had interaction with were very friendly and helpful.
google avatar

Michael V.

Yelp
Needed some cash and figured that a mall would probably have an . It was about a block from my hotel so I gave the Brickell city center a shot. No maps of the mall that I could locate, but by wandering aaround for a few minutes I was able to find an ATM. Can't really speak to the mall or shops since I went straight to the atm, withdrew cash, and left.
google avatar

Skylar W.

Yelp
Wow, so much to see and so much to shop! So many different options from activities like mini golf and movies to dining, coffee shops, and tons of retail. Definitely something for everyone! Loved that it's open air, but I can only imagine how brutal it'd be in the summer. This is a gorgeous upscale shopping center.
google avatar

Frank G.

Yelp
IMPRESSIVE ARCHITECTURE!! Beautiful 3 levels shopping center with a modern architecture that is in between an enclosed mall and an outdoors shopping one. It has a great selection of stores, coffee shops and restaurants. It's at over 95% capacity according to their own website. It's a must to visit if you are visiting from out of town. This is the place where you take from the picture with the iconic and colorful SLS building on the back.
google avatar

Monica R.

Yelp
The it spot for the day and night activities! There's so much to do from restaurants, mini golf to Lounges . Always a great time when I'm in Brickell definitely recommend for a night out in the town .
google avatar

Olivia S.

Yelp
A nice shopping mall in the Brickell area to visit. I love the outdoor space and it's very convenient. You have some high end stores, some of your regulars and some eateries. If you're planning on doing some shopping, this would be a good place to be!
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
This center is where I like to spend my time. It is a beautiful and large shopping center. It has some of the most upscale stores in the world. They also have new stores, smaller companies, but I like their prices. I was impressed with the wide selection of perfumes they have in the individual stores.
google avatar

Tiffany P.

Yelp
One of our favorite finds that we stumbled across! The modern, gorgeous overhead architecture caught our gaze for too long. The shopping center spans 3 blocks with a wide selection of high end stores, cafes, and eateries. Workers keep the space immaculately clean. It's spacious with not many visitors. I think this is a fantastic spot to go window-shopping, snack, and enjoy the cool breeze. The only downside is that there's no validation for parking.
google avatar

Astrida M.

Yelp
We didn't have enough hours in the day last weekend to explore this magnificent shopping center in the heart of Brickell in downtown Miami. Modern architecture abounds. Escalators to help you with the 4 story high center. Be sure to wear the most comfortable shoes you own. So many high end stores, like Chanel, Swarovski, Apple, MAC, Zara, resturants like Casa Tua Cocina, a movie theater, EAST Miami, a 40 story luxury hotel that we stayed at, and many more stores. We need to go back to finish our tour of the BCC. It's a must-see in Miami. I want to go this coming Christmas to see the decorations.
google avatar

Rajiv K.

Yelp
I'm sad they decided to drop validated parking as I asked around some of the staff today and also saw the booth was gone. Parking here is not fun and can add a price to your trip. I felt the parking spots kind of narrow today too. I had to circle the garage for spots while being careful of traffic flow and corners and people. Still a nice indoor-outdoor mall to walk around. It's a few blocks and has sky bridges connecting them. I like the design. Shops are getting better with a mix of more "normal" and "aspirational" brands. You have your variety of coffee/tea/food spots too. Sad they had a cool boutique coffee store that since seems replaced by a Starbucks. Overall it's a pricer mall per the brands and parking. Not a value / bargain spot. Would love to see them try to improve parking, traffic/navigability and selection a bit more and encourage more entrepreneurial spaces vs just buy brands.
google avatar

Yelp
Shopping center in downtown Miami which was super close to our hotel. We walked here to check it out and see what shops were there. Did find some name-brand goods and also regular stores as well. They also had a swimsuit store so if you forgot to bring some swimwear don't worry, you'll be able to find something. They have a Zara store and the inside was packed with people. Bought a few items and browsed other stores as well. The mall itself looks pretty and quite unique.
google avatar

J. Antonio G.

Yelp
Beautiful shopping mall very close to home at the time , excellent restaurants, great service, great atmosphere. We definitely recommend this mall

Yelp
A great street and area to ponder. Fabulous shopping center for retail therapy. Very nice center.

Yelp
Brickell City Centre has transformed the heart of downtown Miami. It's a complex that covers several blocks on either side of Miami Avenue and it's full of nice stores and restaurants, many upscale and well appointed. The idea about creating this shopping center years ago was an achievement in innovation and artistry, the mixed-use space is comprised of two residential towers, two mid-rise office buildings and the EAST, Miami Hotel above a supercharged fashion and culinary experience. There are four levels of luxury, premium and world-class dining and entertainment that are all interconnected over three city blocks and anchored by a 107,000 square foot Saks Fifth Avenue and luxury VIP Cinema theater. If you wonder what to eat while in this shopping center, you can choose from sushi, steaks, farm-to-table, vegan, sweet or caffeinated, Mexican, burgers, etc.. Just a great place to spend hours while in the Brickell area.
google avatar

Yelp
This is such a cool place. I originally saw this location on Instagram where everyone takes their photos. I was visiting Brickell and wanted to check it out. It is a very large outdoor mall. It is a fancy place with several high-end stores and restaurants. It fits right in with the Brickell neighborhood. You get the whole Miami vibe with palm trees and outdoor seating. You don't feel the heat from outside as much. As it turns into the evening all the lights are turned on and you enjoy the great ambiance. I loved the design and how spread out everything is. You can easily spend the whole day here. You can go on the third floor and find the spot where everyone ends up taking their photos. After that we wanted to explore the area. We started shopping in the afternoon, going to Putt Shack to play mini golf, dinner at Pubbelly, and finally a movie at CMX Cinemas. We ended up spending a lot of money but it was worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
What a great shopping mall that is open air where you can enjoy the ocean breeze and people watching. The mall is clean for being open air. Plenty of seating options and bathrooms throughout the floors. I would walk a round, take a break, and then walk again. Walked into a few stores and continued to enjoy. There are mall cops that roam the area so no need to feel unsafe. The only complaints for me is there are limited food options. I don't want sandwich or salad. I found a great traditional Thai restaurant across the street called Bonding. Looked for the shop called Suit Supply and cross the street. Delicious Thai food. Order it to go and enjoy on open air mall and watch people. Bathrooms: very clean

Yelp
Brickell City Centre is my favorite shopping mall in Florida. They have a lot of stores, shops, cinema, bars, restaurants and much more. Nice architecture, views and scenery. Great place to shop or just hang out in a coffee shop or bar.

Yelp
Friday night at Brickell City Centre was nice, it's kind of touristy, but don't let that fool you as it's an upscale shopping center right in downtown Miami. It has some of the most scenic view and worth of IG pictures anywhere you go, It's adjacent to East Miami hotel and is surrounded by some of Miami best hotels, restaurants like Sexy Fish and the Kight Center for concerts and events just a few blocks away. You will spent countless hour in this mall that is open to late night foot traffic due to many restaurants, bars even a high end CMX theater with full bar and restaurant, but it's not open 24-hours. There are gates and cameras all over so security is tight and unlike most big cities these days, no funny business is tolerated here. It's very safe place to spend a day or even evening. You'll enjoy all four to levels of excellent shopping, dining, theater and diversity of entertainment that now also features a PUTT PUTT that serves food w/full bar in it's a huge facility... It also has one of the most modern Saks Fifth Avenue locations we've seen and other luxury brands are well represented here with a mix of premium, contemporary and even new brands. Highly recommend to tourist as well as locals.
google avatar

Oriana S.

Yelp
Wonderful open air mall experience. There's 4/5 different levels of high end stores and department stores. The design of this place is very pretty and very modern! Lots of restaurants to visit too. This place also offers free 30 minutes parking but although the parking is ample, it's very badly laid out. Definitely would recommend if you are in Miami and looking for a place to shop.
google avatar

Shwe N.

Yelp
very pinterest-esque mall! reminds me of the century city mall back near ucla with it being outside and 3 stories! lots of designer establishments and other affordable shops all around; great place to take pictures with friends and family, or just lounge around! the restrooms are clean too and feels so safe in the city ~
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
Wow what a great shopping center that is open air with 3 levels. Upscale stores and restaurants. Great place to eat walk or just people watch. We ate at Tacology and then had gelato at Roy's de France.
google avatar

Yelp
Holidays in the Centre es un evento navideño mágico que captura el espíritu de la temporada de una manera única y encantadora. Desde la impresionante iluminación hasta las actividades festivas para toda la familia, es una experiencia que no se puede perder.
google avatar

Yelp
It took some time for the Brickell City Centre to grow on me. I'm a fan of outdoor malls with more old-school type of designs. When I first saw that they are erecting this massive, über-modern mall in the center of Brickell, I already decided that I wouldn't be a fan. Part of the reason could have been that I worked at Brickell during that time and the construction of the BCC caused major traffic. But now that's here: honestly, what's not to like? You have everything here from great restaurants, a nice movie theater, shops, a kiddo playground, etc. whatever you need, you'll find it here. Only downsides: parking can get very pricey. You can validate it at the concierge to pay half the price but it doesn't always work. Also, when it heavily rains (which it does all the time), the floors get dangerously wet due to its half-open structure.
google avatar

William G.

Yelp
Brickell City Centre is a nice, upscale shopping center located in downtown Miami. It is adjacent to East Miami hotel, the great hotel in which I've stayed twice this year. This mall is not open to foot traffic 24-hours. There are gates and cameras everywhere during the evening hours, so no funny business is tolerated here. During the day, the place is very nice. It is clean, boasting mid- to high-end stores, and frequented by pleasant locals and well as tourists looking to do some shopping. I took some time to walk around this great mall while I waited for my Lyft to come take me to Miami Int'l Airport. It was a nice walk, getting to know the many levels of this place. I was also able to take some great landscape shots overlooking the streets below and the surrounding buildings. The next time I visit Miami, I will stay at East Miami, and I will most definitely come to take full advantage of the many great offering at Brickell. If you have the same tastes that I do, then Brickell will most definitely be a great stop for you in the fine city of Miami.

Filiz K.

Yelp
Parking is crazy expensive! Even the most high end shopping mall at Bal Harbour shops garage is less than half for parking!! This is really out of the realm of normal!!
google avatar

Sia K.

Yelp
This is such a decent size mall. They have so many store options to pick from! A bunch of floors to choose to shop or restaurants to eat at. Also during the holiday season you can get complimentary wrapping for your gift! You can also get your parking validated inside the mall to get 50% your parking
google avatar

Master Vicente A.

Yelp
Our next family adventure take us Brickell City Centre located closed downtown Miami, an perfect spot to spend a Sunday visiting store from the best brand of the country or around the world. They have a lot fun for all members of the family, even restaurants that compete for which is the customer's favorite since the quality of their food is of the highest quality. High recommend place to visit.
google avatar

Andrea U.

Yelp
Pretty small that feels like Miami open bright and tropical. Fabulous shops & restaurants. Wonderful happy hour choices. Parking lot is really dicey cars coming in & out from every direction with a car wash and tight spaces. Unsure how to get out of the lot and into the shops, no directions .

Alexandra Q.

Yelp
Ordered 2 expensive bathing suits which were delivered to wrong address... 5 weeks later and 4 phone calls to customer service, no refund! Calls to customer service... useless they are trying to keep my money! Horrible customer service Don't shop here
google avatar

Monica B.

Yelp
I've never had a poor customer service experience here. Selections of food for vegans is limited though. Also, if you're looking for retail therapy, the options of places to shop pleasantly vary at several spending tiers. Last, the value of your dollar on coffee options goes far beyond a Starbucks-but vegan meals and desserts lack at this mall... so don't settle, walk around the area around this mall and Yelp the vegan options surrounding you.
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
This place is definitely a five day or night just beautiful architect and the way they set up the shopping mall is amazing. Is a must see if you're traveling here in South Florida some shops are expensive however there are more affordable shops as well and even if you're not shopping they have restaurants sweet dessert restaurants and just a great place to take pictures as well.

Rodney A.

Yelp
Omg this place is amazing, I went because I seen that I lot of people go there to take some good pictures of Miami but the look and the mall are incredible
google avatar

Lulu P.

Yelp
We were at this location to charge EV but ended up window shopping for a few hours. Love that it has an outdoor mall feel but have the AC comfort of an indoor mall. Lola and my daughter bought a few items at Zara while I watch the kids play at the kids play area. Very clean restrooms, lots of underground parking and EV charging stations.
google avatar

Adriana B.

Yelp
I love the architecture of BCC however, the shopping, is not really the best for my taste. It's a great place to walk around and window shop. The parking is pretty pricey as well. We went for lunch and for a little over 2hs it was $16!!! Fortunately if you are in the mall you can validate and get 50% off. The only reason I give it 4 stars is for the decor and views.
google avatar

Keli M.

Yelp
I am not a mall person, but this is one of my favorites. Plenty of high end shopping and restaurants. I love the it is indoor/outdoor and in the heart of Brickell. It's a great place to go to kill time.
google avatar

Cordelle W.

Yelp
I had a great experience here eating the food, watching a movie and reclining in the comfortable chairs in the theatre. I ordered a steak, truffle butter fries, shrimp, and candy cheesecake dessert. I really enjoyed the food and customer service experience. - Cordelle Great mall, fun place to shop, eat, and bring family. It's safe and there is security on every corner to make sure people are safe. It's best to come here during the day time when the sun is out to take really great pictures. The weather here is good, cool, and refreshing. If you want to shop at some high quality stores near Miami this is your best location to be. I will be back soon. - CORDELLE

Yelp
Wonderful layout of shops and restaurants in Miami. It has a modern indoor, outdoor concept and a wide variety of options. I love the Chanel makeup store and Casa Tua for assorted fresh pasta, salads, and sandwiches. There is something for everyone at Brickell City Centre.

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
Great place to walk around and have dinner. The stores are all High end and the open concept mall is beautiful

Madelyn A.

Yelp
An attraction that really captures all that Miami is. The innovative open-air design, complemented by state-of-the-art canopies and meticulous spatial planning, undoubtedly positions this mall as an exceptional gem within Florida's retail landscape. Featuring a curated selection of upscale boutiques, enticing dining options, and charming coffee shops, this establishment promises an enriching and aesthetically pleasing shopping experience. With picturesque vistas perfect for Instagram-worthy photos, it has quickly become my preferred destination in Florida. However, do note that due to its immense popularity, parking spaces tend to be in high demand. It is advisable to seek a parking spot nearby and enjoy a leisurely stroll to the mall to fully relish its unparalleled ambiance. Lovely way to spend a day in Miami.
google avatar

Fox E.

Yelp
Everything here is made of bricks. It's overkill. It's too much. In fact, it's Brick Hell. This whole area is pretty fancy and huge, this is a massive mall with lots of eateries inside and some street level ones outside... it looks brand new and I don't remember any of it from when I was here before. It helps bring congested downtown Miami into the new century, if that's your thing. Looks visually stunning too, but lacking cheap deals and a bit of soul.
google avatar

Debra F.

Yelp
Getting in some exercise after a nice meal! There were plenty of stores to explore and empty your wallets lol. I was too busy shopping to stop and take pictures but the four level views were an added plus!
google avatar

Jan L.

Yelp
Came to Miami for fun and stayed close by. It gave us something to do. The location wasn't far from where we were staying so we walked here. This mall is pretty big, it's open concept and the architecture is beautiful. There are a lot of stores, some I knew and some I never heard of but we got what we needed regardless. The centre is pretty busy, there seemed to be a lot of tourists and non tourists. There are also plenty of restaurants to choose from which is nice! If you're looking for something to do in Brickell I would recommend coming here just to walk around and do some shopping/grab a bite to eat!

Yelp
This was my second time at Brickell City Centre. It is a beautiful and decadent shopping mall. They have some of the most upscale brands in the world as tenants. They also have some new stores I keep discovering each time I am here. I was impressed to see a Diptyque store as I usually just see their perfumes in department stores and not as a standalone store. They have some impressive eateries here. I just felt like this is a decadent place to sneak off to when you want to do something different. I am amazed at how cool and classy this whole shopping area is. They have a parking garage and you can get a couple hours of free parking with validation from a store. I will be back when I am in the area. I definitely suggest stopping here at least once if you are in the area, even if you are not a big shopper. The whole place is simply eye candy.
