Always great food, great atmosphere, and terrific service! Staff is well trained and have excellent awareness. They do a tremendous job of keeping an eye on your drinks.

Don't walk, run to get here. Service is quick, attentive and friendly. My burger came out fast and hot with a ton of flavor, cooked just like I like. I got the Smokin' Ginger, it was everything I needed it to be. So glad I stumbled on this gem, it feels like and understatement to say I'm impressed.

The food was really good. I had the bleu cheese burger, and my friend had the fish and chips. We both enjoyed our meals. We ate on the patio as I brought my dog. The restaurant is very dog-friendly. I ordered a puppy patty for my dog. He loved it. Service was great, and the waitress brought out a bowl of water for my dog as well.

Finally got to have cocktails at Brick's pub this past weekend and were very impressed! The espresso martini and the smoked old fashioned were nothing short of amazing. We also really loved our server, the abundance of booths, and the friendly/welcoming vibe. The prices were good, too. We're looking forward to returning soon to try some food - we're vegetarian and are excited that they offer a meatless option for their burgers!

We tried out Brick's Pub for dinner this past weekend and loved the food! Even though they were very busy, staff helped one another and multiple people checked on us. Our only regret is that we didn't try this place out sooner! The food was also well priced... What a great value. We had a burger and the tomato soup with grilled cheese. We absolutely loved our food and plan to return often!

What an amazing experience and amazing food! We went for happy hour and stayed for dinner. Tried a variety of the food and everything was superb! The fries are so unique cut in scoops and crispy, large onion rings and together its a Frings appetizer that had plenty on it but disappeared quickly. Then came the burgers...large and juicy! Tri-tip sandwich, and the Bucktown, and the smoked turkey club were all delightful! They even brought a delicious brownie with ice cream for a birthday we celebrated. How nice! The wait staff and manager were all friendly. Will definitely come back. Probably for their fabulous brunch (7 days a week apparently!)

Bricks Pub, highly recommended! We visited Bricks Pub while in Austin and had a great experience. The food and service were excellent, the margaritas were fantastic, and prices were reasonable. The place was busy, and we sat on the patio, at first we thought we might be forgotten, but the staff checked in regularly and provided attentive, friendly service. Quick notes: - Patio seating is lively and enjoyable. - Arrive with some patience during peak times, it fills up fast. - Great spot for drinks, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Great neighborhood bar, excellent food, cold beer and a nice patio to boot. All within a strip mall. Parking is tight and the parking spots are very small. But definitely worth the walk from the larger adjacent parking lot.

I needed some breakfast while I waited for new tires (in the same parking lot) It was a short and safe walk from the tire store over to the pub. There is plenty of parking as well as a great covered deck. It was too warm even early in the morning so I opted for inside. I grabbed a booth and was greeted promptly. I was brought water and a menu. :) I decided on chicken and waffles. He said that the waffles are made fresh so I was sold. It was delicious! I could have used one more tender to help finish the yummy waffle. I was pairing every bite together (tender/waffle). I also grabbed a mimosa because...why not? It's a Wednesday at 11 am and I have the day off! Plus it was only five bucks. Everything seems so pricey everywhere so that seemed like a fair deal. There are lots of TVs with many different channels so there's something for everyone! I will definitely be back.

In-laws were hungry, found this place through Yelp. It's a small corner place made "bigger" through their outdoor patio. Otherwise the inside is mostly bar ringed by one layer of seating. Sports bar is accurate. There were five TVs for the outdoor patio alone. Needless to say, we weren't here for the sports or the alcohol (so I'm not sure why the in-laws picked it). Pretty sizeable menu of options including burgers, hot dogs, soups, tacos, omelettes, and more. Food was prepared reasonably swiftly, so that was nice. The fries were neat-- shaped like scoops with a good outer fried coating. My club sandwich was unfortunately drowning in mayonnaise, which was kinda gross. I got a Dr. Pepper with it, and it was a bit weak, made worse by lots of melting ice... and the server never bothered to get me a refill. :( Pricing was pretty reasonable. Place was all spruced up for Christmas with lovely lights and wreaths and bows. Makes me think the place would look pretty boring if not for a holiday. Three all-gender / gender-neutral bathrooms! Hooray!

Stopped by Brick's for happy hour and grabbed a frozen margarita and the chili dog special. The margarita was perfectly tart and well-balanced--just how I like it. The hot dogs came on fluffy buns with flavorful chili that hit the spot. Great vibe for kicking back, and I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving hot dogs and Astros baseball!

Needed a spot to grab a snack on Christmas Eve. We tried to go to Moon Tower because they have some of the best queso around. But sadly they were closed. Bricks were right there and we said why not. I've over heard my brother wanting to go there. When we sat down we ordered drinks. Brother got a beer and my sister in law and I wanted to get the East Austin ciders but they were out. The waiter explained some lengthy story about how they run out of the kegs fast and can't keep up with getting them back in. We decided since we needed a snack, it would be best if we shared some chips and queso. It came with salsa. Honestly the salsa tasted like marinara sauce that came out of a jar. Though the drinks were good and we enjoyed our waiter, we did not really enjoy our whole experience here. Not sure we'll be returning. But if we do they do serve brunch on the weekends so we could always do that.

We came here for dinner around 6pm on a Thursday night and were seated immediately without a reservation, which was nice. Our server Chris was taking care of us and he did a fine job. As for the food, it was all delicious. The 15 mini corn dogs were a happy hour special at $5 and were very good. My classic cheeseburger entree was also excellent, and my fiancé enjoyed her tri tip sandwich (I tried a bite of it as well and also liked it). Also, the outdoor seating they had was ideal for a 78 degree evening. And their prices were very reasonable too. We would come back again!

I loved this place! Plenty of indoor seating with TVs and a wonderful patio with fans. The workers were all so kind and helpful. The food came out extremely quickly and was delicious. I cannot recommend the corn dogs enough as an appetizer, they were perfect! I'll definitely be coming back soon to try them out for breakfast!

Great little after work spot! Typical bar food done really well and great drinks! Not busy and easy to park. The service was quick and good. We will be back!

UPDATE : Try the Beer Braised Brisket sammich - pictured, with half fries / half onion rings side (half 'n half is a side option). Greatly enjoyed it! Love this spot! Cozy, yet just roomy enough to stand and get around comfortably, warm atmosphere, great food (had the chicken bleu sammich, half cajun / half bacon jam wings, and, the fried okra - the mac 'n cheese is next). The staff are incredibly friendly. The dude with the borked foot is a friggin' trouper! The outdoor patio is covered and comfortable, and, you can enjoy a smoke, on the patio, with your food and / or beverage. Slàinte!

Hit the 'Bricks' yesterday for a lunch with an old friend. I've been before but she hadn't heard of it. During our phone call the night before she asked about a good burger joint in Austin area and I mentioned Bricks Pub. Next day she drives down from Round Rock, TX for lunch. She had the Bacon Jam and I tried the Tri-Tip. (I usually do the Jam or Blue cheese burger) She loved the flavor and said it was a great burger! Only problem was the burger was not cooked to her stated temperature per her request when asked by the server upon ordering. It was well done versus medium. My try tip was very tasty however the meat was a little tough. Could have been more tender. Aside from needing a better broiler cook, the ambiance and service was great. I haven't been here since their new patio setting was installed. Very nice outdoor seating area. Will definitely be back!

Have come here for bar, food, drinks, and now also coffee in the morning! I would like to try their brunch at some point. They have expanded their outdoor patio and it looks amazing. It's covered and shaded with fans and TVs. The service was great, and the bartender was moving as fast as he could to make coffee and also tend the bar. The coffee was tasty and I'd like to come back to try the breakfast.

Love! The best Espresso Martini in the area. Bar food is top notch elevated and I crave it every time I come to Austin!

The new patio is very nice and there's a lot of space and shade which is important in the summer! The servers are always so friendly. The wings are decent here; the tomato soup with grilled cheese is a my go to; the hot dogs are good but FYI when you order this, it comes with three hot dogs. I wasn't aware of this and it was way too much food for me. I've also had the smoked salmon Benedict which was great. Overall, the price of food and drinks are great here along with the service!

The food here is horrible. Idk how any reviews say anything different. We've gone several times now trying to give it a chance and I swear it's worse each time. Save yourself the money. Staff is really nice though.

We came in to get dinner and watch the UT game. We were seated right away on a Saturday night which sometimes feels like a miracle in Austin. The menu is typical bar fare, I got the pork belly sliders and my husband got a burger. The food was good enough for a pub, not exceptional but it was tasty. It was a great place to watch the game with a ton of TVs and audio. They have a nice, big bar in the middle where welcoming strangers were making friends and talking college football. They also have a big patio out front. The service was quick and effective. We just got beers that night but the cocktail menu looked pretty good, will have to come back drinks. Very convenient spot.

At two recent visits, the quality of the food has not been as good. Service and ambiance are still great. But you should know that the food is not consistently good.

Can't help but leave a review. Been coming here almost weekly at this point. Not just because of convenience but the food and service is worth coming. Lots to choose from from their menu. Wings, fries, okra, burger, wings, onion rings, any of their sandwiches. We get their food very regularly. They are also very friendly. Nice just to come and sit at the bar, have a drink, maybe a nice convo or even just watch a game. Check it out. Chill place and nice indoor/outdoor space.

Went here once, food was ok nothing mentionable to set it apart from any other bar I have frequented. The cocktail I ordered was awful, manhattan, pretty easy to make, didn't even have a glass for it. Definitely a shot and beer place. Service was attentive by our waitress. The parking and easy of getting into the parking lot was not great.

I eat here a lot for Brunch and occasionally for a few drinks on the weekends. Great neighborhood bar with a new patio! I have read the responses regarding towing it's not the Pub! The shopping center does tow cars due to several people parking there and running across the street to other alcohol establishments without ample parking. I have never been towed but I also don't run across manchaca. I love my life! lol Food is damn, good!

Their prices feel like pre covid, so insanely affordable! Something like $5 drinks and apps for happy hour, and the bacon jam burger was delicious! Couldn't believe we walked out of there with a $50 check with multiple drinks and food items each.

This is my favorite neighborhood bar. The food is always good! I've never had a bad dish (salad, burgers, wings, queso - all good). The passion fruit margarita is one of the best I've had. They have a great espresso martini as well. Bartenders are great - real friendly & local feel!

Okay we do love the great bar food and the outdoors is done very well. Servers are really nice, but not in any hurry, so relax and enjoy the outdoors. Happy Hours are nice prices. All in all I'd say...yes sir come enjoy. All is good!!!

Horrible service for a take out order. It took 10 min to be greeted by one of the employees and another 10 minutes for the food to be ready. The two burgers were mediocre. This place has a lot of potential but needs better management and staff.

We needed a late-nite dinner after a long day of family events. The pub was open and smelled yummy when we walked in. We were seated in a booth and our server was delightful! Sooo many things sounded good. There was four of us, so we ordered the roasted tomato soup, the mini corn dogs, the burger with bacon jam and the hot dog trio (one of each). Everything was cooked perfectly. The soup was cooked in-house and so flavorful. Loved the mini corn dogs with the mustard. And the burger! Just wow. So juicy and good. Even though we were full, we had to try their cinnamon bread pudding with ice cream. We are definitely bringing more family this way!

Man what a great spot! Phil is always so attentive and timely with all requests and Britney is the best person to ask an opinion from. You can't beat the new corn chip pie on their fall menu (I recommend getting sour cream added) It's certainly my favorite local bar.

Placed a Togo order for the first time here. We always have a nice experience when we dine in, but wow! I'm very impressed with their to-go ordering process, timing, presentation, and quality! The burger was just as delicious as it would be in person! Always highly recommend Bricks!

Absolutely LOVE this place! Great value, great location! I'm so glad this spot is right down the street from my house! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious & the drinks are tasty & strong! Order the BT margarita, mini corn dogs & thank me later!

Being a north Jersey ex-pat the idea of finding actual "ripper" hot dogs in the ATX drew me to Brick Top's Pub. For the uninitiated a NJ ripper is a large hot dog of the skinned variety, deep fried to create a hot, juicy dog with a real "snap" when you bite into it. Like many favorite food items I find in Austin, foods are seldom the same as the originals but they're usually pretty good nevertheless. Brick's Rippers are served as a trio of normal sized but tasty fried franks that are offered in three varieties. I chose the Pepper Dogs, served on a split-top bun like are common in the northeast with a liberal dose of ketchup, yellow mustard, onions and mild jalapeño slices. They looked so colorful I had to snap a photo. They tasted real good although the abundance of condiments became the primary flavors, it was difficult to actually taste the hot dog itself but all in all they were quite yummy and also quite messy - impossible to eat without getting ketchup and mustard all over your hands. Make sure you have enough napkins. I didn't take advantage of the impressive wall of beers on tap but the place had a laid-back vibe that probably makes for a good hang. The staff were friendly and efficient and the place is clean but fairly spartan. A friendly spot for some pub grub and brews.

I wanted to enjoy this pub experience so much because of the low prices on food but I was warned that the service would be poor...and it was. There were practically no patrons and 5 staff so I thought we would be taken care of but the bar staff would literally stare at me as I had an empty drink and not do anything about it. My friend didn't even receive ranch with her Cobb Salad and it took almost 6 minutes for her to get it. I would order the food to go but never go here for drinks again.

Definitely worth a try in south Austin. Very good food especially the burger's and hot dog trio. You can get one of each ripper did just have to ask on your order. Is heavy but worth the calories

Really everything on the menu is great and places it high on the list of bars with great bar food. The burgers seem to be the specialty and certainly my favorite thing here. I'm a fan of the Bucktown- Cheddar, Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Hickory BBQ, Romaine, Tomato cooked anyway you like for 14 bucks. Now that is a tasty burger.. Wings are awesome. Frys are the dipper frys, big fan try them with the bbq sauce or buffalo sauce. Huge beer selection always served cold. Bricks pub is a solid addition to the neighborhood

Great neighborhood watering hole Drinks menu is impressive. Tons of beers on tap. Both locals and big brands. Food was amazing. Burgers are huge and created with a house made mixture of brisket and quality beef. Onion rings are hand breaded. Service was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Tables were bussed immediately as we finished. Will make this place a regular stop for sure.

My friends and I wanted to grab happy hour before heading to the nearby bars and this was the perfect spot! This restaurant is at the end of a strip center, so it caught me off guard when the vibe inside was lively and fun. Our server was super friendly and the food came out quickly. We ordered the $3.50 wells on HH, the Texas poutine fries on HH (yum!!!) and the classic burger. All of the food was good. We'll be back!

Love this little local spot. Ambiance was nice, interior was very cozy and really nice. Amazing drink list (although I just had a beer). We had probably one of the best burgers we've had in a very long time. I'd say in my top five of all time. Buns were perfect also. Fried okra was breaded beautifully and so tasty.. .. not overly done but perfectly crispy. Server was fast and attentive . I also noticed the barstools were big and comfy with backs on them... just very inviting. % will be back. Especially to try one of the coffee drinks!

I'm glad we have this restaurant in the neighborhood and the service was very good. The food was all pretty good. The fried okra was good. Exactly what you'd expect and prepared well. The Texas Poutine , while I don't love the name, was very good. The best thing we had. The fries were cooked just right. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. The chili had a good flavor (not Texas chili) for this dish. Milder than I'd want for a bowl of chili but nice flavor and complimented the dish. The queso was good, standard fare. A really good dish. Unfortunately, the onion rings were over cooked and the batter was hard. The fries with the burger weren't as good as the ones in the starter. Not as fresh and not as soft inside. The burger was good, but not the best I've had (one of the other reviews set a very high bar). I wish the party had been a little less done. I ordered medium and it was completely cooked through. Had I only ordered the entree, this would have been a 3. The starters and excellent service made it a 4.

Just left this venue after waiting 12 minutes for service while sitting at the bar and when the male bartender which has a mustache, glasses and tattoos saw us, he deliberately decided to turn around and chit chat with other customers and continued to keep his back facing us, almost on purpose so we decided to leave and he had the nerve to say "don't leave yet!" Unbelievable, horrible, awful and terrible person, customer service and now it feels like racism as we are Hispanic and the customers were white. I was going to give him one more minute but we were worried that the kitchen might be closing sooner than later and were hungry. I'll never return! Ever! If you are brown or black, you'll probably be ignored; at least when he is working. Don't go here! Don't go here!

Went here the other night with my gym friends and it was definitely worth a visit! It's a small place with only about 8 booths and then bar seating so if you want to sit at the same table, don't come with a group larger than 6 people (and that's a tighter squeeze). Our server was really sweet and attentive. I was really keen on the Turkey club sandwhich but they were all out so instead I ordered the yardbird which is a grilled chicken sandwhich with cheese, bacon, lettuce, aioli and avocado and it was pretty damn good! It comes with a side of fries or onion rings (I appreciated that the onion rings weren't an up charge like most places) however they showed up pretty over fried so not my favorite batter or onion ring but overall this was good and a nice local spot that's quiet to catch up with friends!

Went during normal lunch hour. Only one person working behind the bar and he had to cover all tables. Place wasn't busy but if you weren't paying attention you would have thought it was due to how slow service was. The place also smelled like fresh paint. Customers had to tell bartender three times to open the door to let some fresh air in. 4 groups came in and left before he thought that would be a good idea. Wings were great. Chili was a bowl of grease.

Travis was an awesome bartender! We went here on a Sunday in the early evening and were so pleasantly surprised. The place is very cozy, on the smaller side, with dimmer lighting. They have a great menu with a lot of hot dog variations which my boyfriend loved. I am Gluten Free, and Travis was knowledgeable about what I could eat. They don't have GF buns/bread, I got some chicken wings which were amazing! Excited to come back.

Brick Top's is a great place for some delicious bar food and a great drink in South Austin. We came in about 8:30 on a Wednesday night and the place was moderately full with great music, good vibes, and attentive staff. We ordered the buffalo wings and a bacon jam burger with a side of fries and onion rings all of which were delicious. The bacon jam burger was one of the best I've had in Austin so far. I'm really glad we live around the corner from this place, we will be back often!

We were looking for a lunch restaurant with outdoor seating along Slaughter Lane and saw Brick Top's pub so we decided to try it. It is a nice little establishment at the end of a Strip center, with both picnic tables sporting umbrellas and tables on the sidewalk under the overhead awning. We checked inside with the bartender who said we could have a seat and she would be right with us. We sat outside on the heavy metal chairs which were surprisingly comfortable, in the shade and the breeze of the morning. Using the QR code on the table, We checked out the menu and decided to share a burger and an appetizer. We ordered iced tea, some fried okra, and the Bucktown Burger (Cheddar, Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Hickory BBQ, Romaine, Tomato) which came with fries. The bartender, who was also our waitress, brought everything pretty quickly and was always checking in on us to make sure we had no need unmet. RT was kept filled and ranch dressing was supplied at my request for dipping the okra. The iced tea was strong and fresh. The burger was absolutely delicious - the patty was obviously hand formed and perfectly cooked. The fried okra, well - what can you do wrong with fried okra as long as you don't over cook it :-). The fries which accompanied the burger were unusual. They appeared to be hand sliced, small pieces of potato fried and seasoned. They were very good, just unusual. Although we don't get into this part of the town often, we look forward to eating at Brick's pub again in the future!
