Google
Great place with great pizza! Tried two Neapolitan style pizzas: the meat sweats and one of the seasonal I think it was called the a pig Lebowski? Both were a 10/10, amazing. Will definitely be back again, staff was super friendly too!

Google
Great clean cozy atmosphere. Good pizza 🍕 with many options plus I loved their wings. Staff is very helpful with valuable recommendations. They also have wine and beer :)

Google
Came here with some friends recently and everything was fantastic. The staff was extremely nice and the food was great. We got the meat sweats pizza and I also got to try their pretzel bites. Very nice place I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some other pies and things on the menu

Google
I wasn’t sure Oak Park needed another pizza place, but Billy Bricks has become a go-to location for us. The crusts are ultra thin and delicious (with puffy edges that would be great dipped in some extra marinara), and each of us can get an individual pie with the toppings we like. The staff are fast and courteous. The restaurant is quiet and comfortable. If you can’t find street parking, there’s a parking garage behind the building.

Google
I always enjoy Billy Bricks whether I am dining in or ordering carry out. The Pig Lebowski pizza is my favorite. The staff is always courteous and professional.

Google
It is very hard to find really good gluten-free pizza. I have to say for my first time ordering from here, the crust was amazing. Great job! I'll be ordering most definitely again 😊

Dave Huber

Google
Great food and service. It is a walk up as opposed to server setup, but comfortable seating and good atmosphere. I eat there often. Usually delivery, but occasional in person. Both are great. Pizzas arrive hot and salads are all really good.

Thelma Teriba

Google
The service and staff are exceptional, my kids absolutely love the pizza especially the meat sweats. We get pizza from here every Friday (dine in or delivery) and have been impressed each time. The environment is also amazing!

Yelp
Billy Bricks is great! I'm a big fan of their pizza and sandwiches. Their staff is always friendly and welcoming when I walk into their stores! i recommend trying their bbq chicken pizza and their pesto chicken sandwich, there's not a store around Naperville that can offer the flavors on that sandwich for their price point! 10/10!

Joshua C.

Yelp
The overall taste of the pizza is good. The downside is they need to work on the recipe for the dough. It's one of those pizzas that needs to be eaten at the establishment. Not good for delivery or take out. Very flimsy pizza, not the best under carriage. If they work on that dough it's easy one of the best pizzas in oak park area.
google avatar

Shari B.

Yelp
I tried their pizza from their food truck. It's pretty neat that they bring their oven around to make fresh pizza. Their dough is thin, light and airy. Toppings are on the light side, too. This is probably because it's Neapolitan-style. The pizza was good and fresh, but the price point is a little high since it didn't completely fill me up.

Yelp
This poor review is based upon a delivery order. I placed an online order. I got a confirmation which said my order will be delivered by 6:57 p.m. That did not happen. At 7:15 p.m. I telephoned to see if it was on the way. I was told the food was cooked and sitting, waiting for a driver and they were running 20 minutes behind. That would mean I had another 5 minutes to wait. I asked specifically how long until it arrived. She said give it an additional 20 minutes. That would mean delivery by 7:35 p.m. At 8:00 p.m. (over an hour past promised delivery) I called again. This time I was told the kitchen was running late on many orders and the person apologized profusely. I was told the driver left about 5 - 10 minutes ago and was on the way. Not knowing how many other orders had been sitting for an hour before being delivered, I have no idea when or if it will show up. I am very disappointed. UPDATE: The pizza arrived at 8:12 p.m. (not 6:57 p.m.). It was warm, but soggy.

Yelp
Billy bricks was amazing being in oak park for the day I stumbled upon the restaurant Christmas shopping I'm most then happy it caught my eye, as soon as you walk in the scenery caught me it's like a pizzeria bar fusion ambiance you can see the guys making your pizza while watching the game! We got the Jalapeño popper dip and I will say it was immaculate. The bread you get with the dip I could eat a bowl of. I think you should steer your attention to the pizza super thin the crust soft tears right in your mouth and interesting selection I got the sunny side up it was good didn't think egg could go on pizza! I also got the honey chicken Mac it wasn't my taste I thought it was a little sweet but my partner loved it and eat the whole bowl. no complaints the cashier was nice food didn't take long. Stop in if you're in the area

Yelp
Love Billy Bricks! As a gluten free/dairy free eater, it's always a challenge to find options that meet my dietary restrictions AND taste good. I do the gluten free crust and vegan cheese option and add whatever toppings I'm feeling that day. I love the variety here and vast options to build your own pizza. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Delicious pizza! The margarita is my favorite and the Cesar salad with arugula is amazing. Will def be back for the Thursday 2 for $22 special.

Yelp
This place is by far, best pizza place in Chicago. I've been seeking a place with a good slice for over a year, and this place matches, and might even be better, than some of the best I've had in NYC. This is the place to eat at for sure. Don't even think twice.
google avatar

Derrick C.

Yelp
This is a great pizza with very tasty toppings. I really like the 22" bricks but have had several other specialty pizzas. They have a Thursday special 2 for $22 which is a reasonable lunch price if you can split with someone. The ham sandwich is also very good and a good size for the price. Staff is always friendly, place is clean and a nice spots to sit and eat.

Yelp
Headed to Coopers Hawk for a glass of wine when I walked past. The aromas coming from inside said "You'd be foolish not to stop in". Oh, how glad I am that I did. The atmosphere is relaxed family style seating with a few raised tables for individuals to dine abs smaller groups. When I arrived there were a few tables occupied abs you could tell they were busy. Nonetheless, upon entry I was greeted and patiently waited on. Servers were helpful in selecting an option since it was my first time dining with them. For an appetizer I went with Meatballs and a 14in prosciutto and baby spinach pizza a house specialty. I also ordered 10pc Buffalo wings to go. My meal arrived in impeccable timing still oven hot. Everything was fresh, the tomato sauce used for the Meatballs was fresh and the meat was tender and savory. The pizza crust was nice and airy; it complimented the pizza very well. The cost was relatively low compared to the food and portion size. Great value for a family night out. I'll certainly return and will bring the family along with me

Yelp
Wonderful pizza, excellent service, and a nice ambience. I recently went for one of my daughter's school's PTO nights and it was excellent. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I have now ordered pizza for delivery several times and each time the pizza person delivers the pizza cold and more than not quite late. I leave directions to use my call box in the main entrance but they can't follow directions. I order from other places and have no issues. The pizza is great, but I will no longer eat it unless I'm at the restaurant. I called to complain but have no confidence that they will issue a refund or full reimbursement based on the number of excuses they provided when I called to complain. They are too expensive for this kind of service.
google avatar

Russell J.

Yelp
Underrated! The pizza is really good and vastly surpassed my expectations. It's also a big comfortable open space to eat in and the line in ordering is easy to navigate and isn't it confusing jumble like some of the smaller places in town! They also have some really fun and unique pizzas. You won't see it other places in town and can be pretty bold with toppings. A good place for family pizza night for sure.

Terri T.

Yelp
I will recommend this place forever! I placed a huge order for sandwiches for a downtown convention and accidently listed the wrong day. I called Becca, the catering manager and explained my mistake and asked if she would be able to get the sandwiches to us same day, and not only did she say yes, she personally drove to the bread distributor to get bread, she went to the store to help make the sandwiches, and she personally delivered them to us. If that isn't going beyond expectation I don't know what is. She saved the day for us, and the sandwiches were high quality and delicious. I am so impressed by her! Thank you, Becca, for being amazing.

Maureen V.

Yelp
Great sub sandwiches! Quick service at lunch hour! Try it to see for yourself! I'm sure you'll find it great as well!

Yelp
Kinda of a pleasant surprise. I wanted to check out a few things, so I order a pizza with sausage and peppers, meatballs, and an order of baked mostaciolli. I enjoyed each item. The peppers added some nice flavor to the sausage pizza. The meatballs were tasty and a fairly substantial portion as appetzers at that price go. The baked mostaciolli was pretty straight forward - it heated up nicely in the microwave the next day. The only thing that was slightly perplexing was the delivery process. The timing was great - it arrived early. But when I ordered over the phone I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I don't like to pre-tip for service yet to be received - I told them I'd tip when I got the delivery. My phone showed I was called and it was at about the same time when I happened to walk to my front door and saw the order sitting outside on our steps. No driver in sight. I wish they had soft knocked like every other driver has - I did want to tip them, especially since the food arrived earlier than I was told it would be, I'll definitely try them again though.

Yelp
Ordered margarite and prosciutto pizzas for Thursday's 2 for 22. Delivery was 30 min late and we got 2 margarita pizzas. Have ordered several times from here but we're finished.

Yelp
I think I've only had pizza once from Billy Bricks (tasty), but I really like their sandwiches. My personal favorite is the chicken salad on a warm bun. It's fresh, had a bit of interest with some fruit and it's truly delicious. I try to make chicken salad at home but it's never as good! Pickup or delivery has been easy, food is prepared perfectly and is reasonably priced and tasty. Portion sizes are large, so I usually make my order into two meals. Nice staff when we've had questions and overall a great spot!

Jeanene H.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this pizza. This was my first time here. We shared it I had 1/2 Italian beef w/basil and 1/2 mushrooms w/basil. It feeds 2 people, but I would suggest the 14" if you are feeling a bit indulgent because it was 3 slices each and we really wanted more. The ingredients were fresh and the sauce was delicious. It tasted very authentic and rustic and I could even taste the extra virgin olive oil.
google avatar

Erin S.

Yelp
I really appreciate that they offer vegan cheese and the crust is decent. But my main gripe is that this is a pretty measly amount of toppings considering you have to pay extra for each topping. I may be back but it won't be my first choice for pizza unless they up the toppings.
google avatar

Yelp
My Margherita pizza was perfect! Crispy, sauce, cheese and basil were all right on. Service was quick and friendly. Best Margherita I've had in OP.
google avatar

Rowena N.

Yelp
I've not been in to the restaurant itself, but am really tired tonight and was craving a tuna sandwich like crazy. I ordered the big kahuna tuna (without the cheese) for home delivery,my first ever order from this place.Everything about it was perfect! It has little bits of chopped walnut in it and I always love it with red onions. The bread was the icing on the cake.I'm always extremely picky about it and it was perfect, really fresh. You won't be disappointed by the sandwiches at this place. I must give their pizza a go someday.

Yelp
Not your typical review of a pizza joint, seeing as that I didn't actually get pizza BUT what is a Caprese salad anyway if not just a deconstructed pizza.. sans dough. I was really just walking around looking for a snack and dropped in here on a whim. I kind of panic-ordered because I wanted something light and realized I was in a pizza place so cue existential food crisis. Alas, I settled on the Caprese. What one might even deem as a boneless salad. I remember reading something that said Anna Wintour's go-to lunch order was a tomato-less Caprese salad and steak, and I thought perhaps she might be a serial murderer. Then as I was sitting alone in this restaurant nibbling on my Caprese, surrounded by folks eating an array of pizzas, it dawned on me that they might perhaps think that EYE am a serial murderer. Because who just casually eats Caprese?? Tomatoes or not. Anyway, I fear I might have digressed but the moral of the story is we should all be a little less judgmental I guess. Oh and that the Caprese was good, 4 stars.

Yelp
They played "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" 10/10 would come again, the pizza was good too

Linda R.

Yelp
This was my first time ordering at Billy Bricks, the pizza was very tasty and good the only reason I didn't give a five star is because it was burnt under the bottom of the pizza crust, I will return again because it was so good. I hope it isn't burnt under the crust the next time

Yelp
We recently flew in from San Diego to visit family and we came across Billy Bricks, and we are so glad we did! The pizza was delicious and the customer service could not have been better! Very attentive to make sure our drinks were never empty and we had extra napkins! Pizza was fresh and the garlic bread was so great, we ordered extra to go! Can't imagine how challenging it must be for everyone to wear masks while cooking and serving customers, but they pulled it off flawlessly! Can't wait for our next trip, because we will definitely be making a stop here!!

Yelp
I've been meaning to check this place out since it opened. Saw a Groupon for 2 pizzas! We have been on a cheese pizza kick so we tried their cheese, as well as their Margherita pizza. I thought the Margherita pizza was delicious! It was a little on the cold side but it took me a little while to get pick it up. I'm sure it would have been even better piping hot! The cheese was good - nothing to special but definitely tasty. The service was quick and friendly. Next time I'm going to have to try a fancier speciality pizza
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious pizza and I recommend trying this pizza . We usually have leftovers when we go home but not today

Yelp
I just love their pizzas. Did you know they have a food truck too. They were in our neighborhood last October. Found myself nearby today and had to get my favorite Betty White Arugula. I usually just think a pizza has red sauce, pepperoni and cheese. I got turned on to a slice a few years back and don't get this often enough. The "Betty" White Arugula, (other locations just call it the white arugula) has roasted garlic, olive oil, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto. It's topped with fresh arugula. There's a Brick's Wood Fired Pizza near you...

Yelp
I'd walked by this place so many times before I finally worked up the courage to go in. (Also, I wasn't sure where the entrance was for a while *tries to scratch way through the window*.) Their BBQ Chicken and Smoked Gouda Pizza was DIVINE. Even though the dough was a little too soggy at the center for my liking, the bold flavors of the pizza were just friggin' yummy! I definitely devoured the whole pizza in one sitting and regretted none of it. My only regret is that I didn't order a second BBQ Chicken and Smoked Gouda Pizza. I wish they had bigger sizes...! #firstworldproblems The staff were friendly and helpful and the food came out pretty quickly so I've got zero complaints there. Keep up the good work, guys!

Yelp
The thin crust pizzas are a family favorite. We love their 2 for $20 special on Thursday nights. Their friendly staff always makes us feel welcome. Great for families and large groups.

Yelp
Bricks is exactly what the Oak Park/Lake business district needed and its a welcome addition to this cool stretch of shops & restaurants. I stopped in for a quick lunch today. Super friendly & engaging staff, modern decor, no wait, spacious dining room, vegetarian options and everything is made fresh and to order. Van Morrison is playing. It's been a sweet little meal.
google avatar

JP J.

Yelp
We had this Pizza catered into our office. Knowing it's catering the expectations are never really high. However I couldn't even finish two pieces of a personal pizza. My jaw hurts from all the chewing of the rubbery dough. Definitely won't recommend we get catering from here again.
google avatar

Sany N.

Yelp
I was a bit disappointed by Bricks. The dough was a bit soggy in the center and couldn't really hold itself up. The dough itself tasted fine, but didn't taste like a traditional pizza dough. On top of that, the toppings kept sliding right off the pizza or peeling off from each bite. Bricks reminds me of Pie-Five or Blaze pizza. The next time I'm craving a quick pizza, I would probably turn to either of those instead if they were in the vicinity.
google avatar

Kara S.

Yelp
This place gave me a little let down. Lets start with the positive. The hostess was awesome and very helpful. She also informed me they have vegetarian and vegan options. I really like the style of the open garage door in the warmer months. I just thought their pizza was going to be much better. The crust was kind of burnt around the edges and was really thin underneath. Which also means it was soggy. When I picked up a slice it really dropped down. It was really hot which is good and the toppings were too. The crust and cheese were just a floppy mess and I really don't think it was a fluke it seems like their recipe. Their way of making pizza. I'd love for someone to prove me wrong, maybe it was just an oven issue. I don't know. I'm not sure I'll go back though.
google avatar

Jerome N.

Yelp
The pizza I got were so good! I got the quatro formaggio and the honey love. They come as a 12 in which is enough for 1-2 people. Honestly, it's like a personal pizza for me. They're also thin crust--like really thin. The quatro formaggio is a must if you're a cheese lover! You can taste so much of the Parmesan which I love. It didn't overpower the other cheeses but you can definitely taste its prominence. The honey love was surprisingly spicy. I loved it! It was more spicy than sweet but the after taste was the honey. I really liked it! When I ordered over the phone, the woman I spoke to was very nice and patient. When I arrived, the gentleman was rude. Didn't greet at all. Had his back towards me. Didn't really care if I was there. Definitely would come here again and bring others. I recommend it!

Yelp
I went here for lunch with my fiancé right when they opened - maybe around 11:30am. I saw an ad on their sign that said "try it as a calzone!" so that's exactly what I did - ordered a calzone. When the calzone came out I cut into it and was shocked to see that the mozzarella and whatever other cheese inside was still COLD - like refrigerator/freezer cold. In fact it was so cold that the cheese didn't even melt and I just saw cubes of mozzarella and shredded cheese. I took my food back up to the counter and the guy seemed really irritated that I brought it back over. I explained the problem and he took it from me without saying anything or apologizing. About five minutes later they brought out the same calzone (I could tell because it still had my cut marks in it). I'm assuming they had to put back in the oven to heat more. Unfortunately even the second time around the cheese was still so incredibly cold and hardly anything had melted. Here is a photo of my calzone after the SECOND time they ran it through the oven. I ended up not taking it back up to the counter again because my first experience with customer service was so unpleasant. Instead I sat there with my fork and tried to eat the cold calzone, only to realize that they had forgotten a key ingredient - the prosciutto - altogether. Again, at this point I was too afraid to go up to the counter and complain again because they had been so dismissive the first time I went up. I decided to just eat the arugula on my plate and ignore the calzone because it was pretty inedible. Low and behold I found what appears to be a dandelion or some other weed in my arugula. Photo attached. My fiancé, who had ordered a regular pizza, was upset at the rubbery crust and explained that the pizza crust was not normally so soggy. Based on both of our experiences, it seems that the oven just isn't getting hot enough (or that employees aren't arriving early enough to get the oven up, heated and ready to serve food at 11am). All in all, terrible experience. We live right next to this place and I was really hoping that it would be great pizza and that we'd have a nice pizza place that we could always walk to for lunch but .... I don't think I'll ever go back. Bummer.

Yelp
After giving my HONEST opinion on this place, the manager decides to give an angry response and attack me because his place makes inferior food. If he had actually MANAGED his employees into making great pizza's, there would be more positive reviews. But judging from the other reviews, I see that I am not alone in my opinion. A crust that was inedible, 6 itty bitty pieces of CANNED pineapple and 3 raw onion rings on a pizza that you pay EXTRA for AND having your employees make it that way, doesn't seem like you are doing your job. If there was any quality control, this never would have happened. If your employees would check the bottom of the pizza FIRST to make sure it is cooked and have them actually cover the pizza with the extra ingredients that you charge for instead of skimping out, I wouldn't have given this review. Maybe you should look at the decisions YOU make before going after customers feedback. And as for not calling you, when I first ordered this pizza, no one answered the phone. I had to call several times just to get through. And when I came to pick it up, the place only had two sets of people at the tables. It was very empty for it being nighttime. I stand by my original review. Reading the responses from whoever is in charge, the guy is obviously a real d head. Sarcastic, ignorant and worthless responses instead of being helpful and accommodating. If you want real good pizza that is cooked correctly and no smart ass manager, go to Blaze in Berwyn on Cermak. They are the complete opposite of this place. There was so much toppings on my pizza, that I had trouble keeping it on the pizza! AND the best part, literally ten dollars cheaper than Billy Bricks.
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I swung by Bricks for lunch earlier today after looking up a handful of places in the area. We picked this place because the owner seemed very engaged in their business by responding to numerous reviews already left. We split the margherita pizza which came out perfect! It was thin crust with just the right amount of toppings and the edges were puffy. I was originally going to give Bricks a four star rating, but thinking back on the service I bumped up to a five star rating. Even though it's an order at the counter type restaurant, we were checked on by staff a handful of times during our time there. We will definitely be going back to Bricks in the near future when our pizza cravings kick in again.

Andrea L.

Yelp
Decent pizza. Don't fall for their "2 for $20 Thursdays," it is a masterclass in how not to run a business. Do not create such demand with a great deal that the one sad dude in the corner cannot roll out the dough fast enough, such that you're 10 tickets deep with people waiting more than 20 minutes longer than the 30 they were already waiting, meanwhile you're triaging tickets like a red state during Covid based on how pissed the customer looks. A Not Thursday day would be 4 stars. I was just so frustrated today that I needed to humble them a little.

Juan R.

Yelp
I will like to say this pizza was very unpleasant to eat . The dough is very hard to chew on . Almost felt like I was giving my jaw a workout . After eating a couple of slices my jaw was soar. Also $80 for three large pizzas seriously? These pizzas ain't even worth the prize . First learn to make a proper pizza that the customer is able to enjoy and then charge those ridiculous prizes.
google avatar

Lucas T.

Yelp
Prepaid for a pizza and salad last night and got called in to work last minute unable to use my phone. Today the owner refused to do anything about it and told me to eat the charge. Terrible customer service. Will never be back.

Yelp
I'm so happy this place survived the pandemic. Such a great quality wood fired pizza. Never a disappoint with delivery either. The crust is always perfect.
google avatar

Nancy W.

Yelp
Finally getting around to posting this review. I really wanted to like this place. ("Yes, there are plenty of pizza joints around, but this one will be different! It's wood fired!") Menu looked great. We placed a to-go order for a BBQ chicken pizza & a prosciutto pizza, and I picked it up. I wish I had opened the boxes to look at it before I left. It was so disappointing! What we got was pizza dough with a sprinkling of toppings. Some slices of the chicken pizza had zero chicken. I wish I thought to take a picture. Maybe they skimped on toppings because it was a take out order? I don't know. But for the cost of the pizzas, we haven't bothered to give it another shot. Maybe someday.

Yelp
Really great pizza- light crust and fresh toppings They always have something on special. Free app with checkin too on Yelp

Yelp
We used Bricks for our wedding late night food and WOW was it a hit! The pizza was delicious and all of our guests really enjoyed it. We were hoping for leftovers, but the food truck was such a hit we ended up running out of pizza! They were able to serve all of our guests quickly, while upholding their high standards. The pizza was crusty and cheese was gooey and delicious. We received so many compliments on the cheese and sausage flavors. Ric was a pleasure to work with and quick to respond/meet our needs. Each guest got a mini personal pizza. We can't wait to go to their storefront to enjoy their pizza more often! Would highly recommend for an event!!!

Cappy K.

Yelp
I've amended this review since the backstory has been clarified. So disappointed in the pricing. Pizza was intended to feed our hardworking theatre troupe without breaking the bank so what a surprise to learn that four 16-inch pizzas came to $165. The price of a Build Your Own with 6 toppings added an additional $21 per pizza. That's hard enough, but since our assistant stage manager ordered online via Doordash, the total bill (including 20% tip) came to $228 for four pizzas! First lesson: Go directly to Billy Bricks' website and avoid Doordash altogether. Second lesson, stick to the simpler pizzas.

Yelp
Best gluten free pizza crust ever!!!! I recently started a gluten free diet because of a skin condition and have been trying different gluten free pizza cust and this is by far the best ever, wouldn't have even known that it was gluten free. We got a pepperoni and banana pepper pizza and it was delicious. The staff was friendly, with a clean and cool dining room. I highly recommend it and will be back often. You have made a gluten free girl very happy!!!!!!

Giovanni H.

Yelp
Started bad since they accidentally gave away my Pizza but they were very apologetic and gave me some comp food along with prioritizing my pizza. Sometimes you have to forgive and forget, food smelled and tasted great. Definitely would be back!
