"The Cool Spring outpost of the long-time Nashville favorite opens up for Sunday brunch — serving sweet starts like homemade doughnuts, syrupy brioche French toast, and pecan waffles. On the savory side, feast on an egg-topped plate of shrimp and grits alongside a white peach bellini or a zero-proof No-Paloma." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

Nice looking place, always busy. We went for brunch. The host pulled some strings and got us an outside table, which was awesome. Outside was very nice! I got a bloody Mary, was ok wouldn't get again. My fiance got the rosemary drink, was good and strong. The donut app was SO GOOD! I got the steak and eggs, was tasty. My fiance got the breakfast sandwich which she liked alot. The service was AMAZING! That's what really did it for us. I can't wait to try out the dinner menu. We will be back!

Wonderful dinner with great menu. Joy our server was amazing. The deviled eggs, artichokes and oysters were well worth the visit. Upscale but lively atmosphere.

Went in for a bite for lunch Beautiful place with well dressed wait staff. Quick and friendly service and a good menu with nice wine selection - for those that like the grape. I just had the Shanghai Shrimp appetizer and it was (a) a big portion (b) hot and fresh and (3) yum! Here’s the breakdown: Great appetizer delivered by attentive staff and delicious to boot +5 star

SerpAPI
The food is consistently great. I highly recommend the wedge salad, deviled eggs, salmon, steak frites, and spinach dip. The service was decent. The staff was kind but may have been stretched too thin to be as attentive as you'd expect. Maybe there are other factors in not aware of that were also at work.

SerpAPI
A fine dine experience with good service and decent food . We got a couple of sushi and the shrimp crab salad and ended with some hot fudge dessert. The food came in quick and the servers were polite. But for me , its a one time experience, probably not going to visit this place again as it doesn’t provide me a unique experience for the price i am paying

First time here. Business lunch. Great service and delicious food. Wouldn’t normally order deviled eggs as an appetizer but so good! Ahi seared tuna was excellent.

First of all... Thank you to our server, Jacob. Great job at giving us suggestions on what to eat being our first time here. The drinks are great and the food is even better, crisp broccolini and omg the oyster Rockefeller! I hope this review brings you many new guests to try out this great place!

Excellent food and great service is what we get at each and every location of this nice restaurant.

Yelp
My friends took me here to celebrate my birthday & what an AMAZING experience!!! The food as so delicious starting with some appetizers, then the filet I had was perfect & delicious. Plus we had some dessert to celebrate & our waitress, Heather (653) brought a birthday card to me signed by employees, what an extra added touch. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very good & the bathroom was very impressive as well. I really have to give a GREAT review on our waitress, Heather, (653), she was one of a kind!!! Always right on top of things didn't have to ask for anything, she went above & beyond. Thanks Heather for an AMAZING first time experience!!! GREAT job!!!

Yelp
This was my first time at this location l, came here with my family. Love the location. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed with smiles. The hostesses were really nice. Their staff was very nice and accommodating. The energy of the restaurant is very calm. Would love to come back to this location with my husband. Dinner here could be very romantic. We started off with the spinach dip. It came out hot and the spinach dip was so creamy and delicious, the salsa that comes with was very flavorful. I love salsa and this one was really good. I ordered the blackened ahi tuna with stir fry veggies and replace the rice pilaf with a twice baked potato. Everything on my plate was delicious. I wasn't able to finish the potato so I too. That to go but one of the stars on the plate was the dipping sauce for the ahi tuna, it was a little citrus in it and it paired so well. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. I would recommend for a group, date, or even a solo dinner experience. I will be back.

Yelp
I've been hearing great things about this spot and finally tried it. We started with the spinach dip which was really good. Then i ordered a wedge salad and the crab cakes. The wedge wasn't my favorite but it was decent. The crab cakes were really good. They were a lot smaller than I thought they'd be but it was good. The lunch portion is just one crab cake but i added an extra one. It comes with cole slaw and fries. I substituted cole slaw for the mixed veggies. My meal was good and very flavorful. The atmosphere is nice and our server was good. He spaced everything out well. Highly recommend coming here and enjoying a good meal with friends and then walking around to the shops nearby

Yelp
What a nice place. Lived in Franklin for a year and saw it but thought it was a cheap chain restaurant.....boy was I wrong. Been there 2 times and it is very good. great atmosphere and service. Ate at the bar for lunch and it was super nice and VERY professional service. Love this place and they have crazy good bourbons.....also the highest place I have ever seen For Pappy 23 about $150 more per put than anywhere in the world and I mean world. almost 2.5 times higher than anywhere in Nashville too. What's up with that. Parking is also a nightmare. Still 5 stars because of the service, food and ambience.

Yelp
While visiting Franklin from Los Angeles, I was pleasantly surprised to experience such a warm, friendly, and excellent restaurant. Our server greeted us with a friendly smile and was very courteous. The Chicken Milanese was tender and perfectly cooked, and the side of fries was perfect. The baby back ribs were sweet, tangy, and juicy, with the side of spinach being a perfect complement. The pan-sautéed halibut was plump and melted in your mouth. However, despite the overall positive experience, I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to one miss - the ahi tuna. Although it was seared nicely, the fish itself was grainy and stringy, making it hard to eat. Fortunately, our nice server was kind enough to take it off the tab. I hope that on my next visit, the ahi tuna is as good as all the other delicious dishes

Ray H.

Yelp
Our first visit to a Bricktop's restaurant; we were very pleased with all aspects of our lunch experience. The setting and menu and whole vibe reminded us of Seasons 52 with lighting not quite so dimmed. Service was helpful, comfortable, and efficient. The food was delicious: Caesar salad, French dip, Meatloaf, Ahi Tuna steak, cheeseburger with side of sauteed spinach. Nice selection of wines by the glass: 2 of us had the Siduri Pinot Noir, which was quite good. Another in our group of 4 had a Bearded Iris IPA. Prices are moderate. We most certainly will return when we are back in Franklin.

Paul H.

Yelp
Love the menu, food was incredible and service top notch (Charlie). Definitely going back!!

Yelp
Nice date night spot. Good service. A little upscale without being too formal. Food is ok, portions could be larger for the price. 3.5 stars

Yelp
Just had take out from here. I ordered the chicken milanese, broccolini, and potatoes au gratin. Overall takeout experience was good. My husband ordered it towards the end of his business lunch and it was ready right as he was getting ready to leave. The service is always consistent. The chicken milanese was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and tender, flavorful meat. It could have done for more capers, but that may just be me. I'd say there were a normal ammount of capers. Broccolini was good. A little salty, but not in a bad way. It was cooked to just right balance of chew to crunch. The potatoes I hadnt ordered in a while, and I probably wont order them as a take out item again. Instead of potato rounds it's more of hashbrowns. The cheese was either congealed or way over crispy, and they were pretty greasy. This does go to say that they were still good, and if they came out hot to the table the cheese would probably be perfect!

Yelp
I was in Franklin for date night and decided to dine at BrickTops. They're extensive menu made this a great option because I was in the mood for sushi and my boyfriend was itching for some steak. I ordered the Yum Yum sushi and added a side of crispy brussel sprouts. The sushi was really good and I would recommend them. The only issue I had with them was how large the pieces were cut. It was a little difficult eating them, but I still managed. For dessert I had the cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream on top. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Even though the restaurant was full, she checked on us regularly which we appreciated. Thanks BrickTop's for a great dinner!

Linda J.

Yelp
Try their millionaire bacon with deviled eggs! It's a favorite!!! Never had anything there I didn't love. Service is always top notch. And the ambiance is very nice and definitely a step above but not stuffy.

Dominic S.

Yelp
I visited Bricktops with my fiancée this evening to celebrate her birthday. We have chosen this restaurant for several years to celebrate special occasions due to the outstanding quality of food and service. Tonight, the food absolutely met our expectations. Unfortunately, the service did not. Our server made no introduction and put in very little effort to make us feel welcome. She did not acknowledge my fiancée's birthday, even when we pointed out the occasion. We generally felt that the level of professionalism was substandard. For example, she brought out appetizer plates and set them on top of our open menus. When refilling waters, she simply reached out her hand and pointed to the glasses without saying anything. My fiancée ordered a second glass of wine and instead of bringing out a new glass, she "refilled" the (not fully empty) glass. She did not ask us how our food was or offer dessert. While I love this restaurant and the food here is ALWAYS amazing, our waitress this evening was offputting, rude, and inattentive. For a $300 meal, I've come to expect better from this restaurant. I would appreciate management reaching out so I can go in further details and hope to prevent other patrons from a similar staff experience.

Jonnie C.

Yelp
Yes I had Deviled eggs for breakfast...don't judge me, look away. Sorry for the picture of food being eaten, it looked so good I dug in before I took the picture. Very little restraint when it comes to deviled eggs. Back to basics, the staff are professionally dressed very refreshing to see these days, my server was amazing, great personality, knowledgeable about the menu options and "understood the assignment" customer care. Food is a 10 out of 10, coffee piping hot and millionaire bacon was worth the detour off I-65.

Ed N.

Yelp
Noah, our waiter was excellent, The tavern burger was fair at best. However at about 1:30 for lunch today the fries where cold and mush, not what you expect for $18.00. . My wife like her salmon and veggies and they cook it just how she likes it and how she ordered it.

Brittan G.

Yelp
Definitely a go to restaurant! I never have an issue with service and the food is always fabulous!

Racquel S.

Yelp
I and a companion ate here recently and everything was really good. The food was fresh and served hot. The flavors were perfect. Service was the cherry on top, as it was done really well. I'll be back.

Sarah B.

Yelp
We are regulars here because the service and food are consistently on point. We usually get the meatloaf because it's amazing but tonight I tried the trout and it was delicious! So tasty and light but super filling! My boyfriend got the prime rib and he loved it as well. They recently remodeled a little and added cool wallpaper and lights to set the mood. It's always a low key, calm atmosphere here. We come regularly and will continue to do so! Ohh and definitely get the deviled eggs and millionaires bacon for an appetizer! Yum!

JoJo F.

Yelp
Great restaurant + excellent quirky service reminded me so of the Hillstone Group of restaurants. Server mentioned something about y'all coming from TX. Food for thought, grilled artichoke + wedge salad could be improved, just not enough meat on the chokes + not enough toppings or dressing on the salad. $50 for a steak is crazy but I know that is the going rate these days. Other than that my TN family loves this place! -Scottsdale guest

Matt L.

Yelp
Really great place to dine! They are a little snobby about dress code... and I get it. Just wanted to call that out. Food has always been great and service has always been good. My second favorite high end place in Franklin to dine. We've been here over 10 times and have nothing but good things to say.

Lya H.

Yelp
I've always been greeted by wonderful hosts. All of my servers have been amazing and always give great recommendations. If you're thinking about ordering the beef Wellington...DO IT. BrickTop's is one of my families favorite spots.

Linda P.

Yelp
This place just cant seem to cook their beef to the correct temperatures. The normally medium rare beef wellington arrived as a repulsive rare, and the requested medium plus filet was only cooked to a medium rare.

Steve D.

Yelp
Higher end restaurant catering to folks who love good food and great service. Lots of touches that show the customer that BrickTop's is serious about the way they do business. Outdoor covered patio seating is an option in good weather. A relatively small bar area since the wine menu is the centerpiece of adult beverages along with a modest cocktail list and very small beer selection. My fave starter dish is the Deviled Eggs with Crispy Candy Coated Bacon. My choice for main entree tonight was the Parmigiana Crusted Halibut topped with Lump Crab -- excellent flavors. Located in a busy lifestyle center anchored by a Whole Foods Market and office park on McEwen Drive west of I-65.

May V.

Yelp
Overpriced and not that great. I ordered the sliced ahi tuna appetizer. Pictures looked so hood online! it tasted fine but the slices of tuna was super chewy! It was very hard to cut with a fork or to bite a piece off. No thank you. At the bartender's recommendation, I ordered the butter crab roll. The menu said warm crab. I should've known better. It was a $20 sushi roll with all fake crab and a ton of butter. I was told it tasted like buttered lobster. Not quite! I ordered a side of brussel sprouts too. It was bitter and tough. I'm sure there were better things on the menu but I did not order them. Ugh, such a waste of money! I was so looking forward to a great meal but it was not.

Cameron V.

Yelp
The prickly pear marg has changed my life. Also, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything I have had I loved. I love sitting at the bar. The bartenders are amazing and their service is always so great.

Deidre W.

Yelp
So disappointed in my experience at the Franklin location yesterday afternoon. I frequent this location at least 3 times a month and typically have amazing experiences. This time was no different until half way through my Chicken Milanese I bit into my spinach and immediately noticed a crunchy, sand-like element in my food that was clearly not edible. I spit it out and my husband immediately motioned for the server to come over. We explained to her what happened and she told us she would alert her manager and bring me another spinach. Well, we had to ask for the manager, she never checked in on us without our requesting her stop by. She came over, questioned what it was I tasted in the spinach, relayed to me the ingredients of the spinach dish, asked if Lilly our server, had gotten me another spinach; which she did and that was the extent of it. No apology, no offer to make me a new dish, just kept explaining that she did not know what it could be. Clearly something spilled either onto the cooking pan or onto my plate. Either way I was done with that dish (with half of the dish still on the plate) and taken aback at Judy how inept she was. She even suggested that I (the patron)transfer my chicken to the plate with the new spinach...HUH????!!!! Here is where it gets even more bizarre...the dish was still on my bill!! I'm not paying for some inedible dish in which I literally had to wash sand out of my mouth! Are you kidding me? Let me be clear...this was an anomaly as I have never had an experience like this here before (we have literally had previous managers comp our entire meal (unprompted) due to slow service. So to experience this level of poor customer service here was just baffling. We immediately again asked for the manager so we could inform her that we would not be paying for the entree and give her some constructive feedback but guess what...she never even came back!!! She didn't even dignify our request with her presence. She simply had Lily take the entree off the bill. I guess we weren't even worth the engagement. It was about more than the $28 entree. The level of disrespect shown and no consideration for us as patrons was just abhorrent. Alyssa (sp?) you are by far the worst manager that I've experienced in a very long time and you are definitely bringing down the reputation that Bricktops has for exceptional customer service. I will not be patronizing your establishment any time soon and will encourage all of the people that have referred there in the past to go where their money and business are respected and appreciated.

Mike K.

Yelp
Great steak but the service was Really slow. Nice ambiance. I would recommend the deviled eggs and bacon!

Ann S.

Yelp
this was a horrible experience. they sat me on the porch and they had the windows up. the wind was blowing the tablecloths. it. was cold and then it started to rain. I asked our waitress if they could close the windows. she said " can ask." which told me probably no. she never said another word to me about it and now it's raining !! oh joy. nothing like the rain and wind coming in on you. That's just cruel to subject your patrons to this. Step it up Bricktops. Have some compassion. horrible experience

Sonja H.

Yelp
Food was absolutely amazing!! Service was good. The beef Wellington takes 25-30 minutes when ordered but the server let us know so we ordered a appetizer

Kimberly M.

Yelp
Service was fine, food was good. I had the trout with roasted cauliflower. It had crab on top, but I had to loom for the crab. It was not lump crab but more like broken up pieces. The trout had a nice grilled flavor. Everything on the plate was the same color. Some fresh herbs would have finished it off nicely. All in all a good dinner. $45 plus tip for entree and glass of wine. Management: please get your lights in the parking lot fixed. There were none on when I walked to my car around 10p. The other businesses in the area had plenty of lighting.

Aura G.

Yelp
Great place for a date! Service was attentive and polite. The shanghai shrimp had a wonderful crunch and balance of sweet, spicy, and creamy flavors. The calamari was nothing special; I could get the same at Olive Garden. About 1/3 of the calamari was actually fried banana peppers to fill some extra space. Biting into them while expecting chewy calamari was a unpleasant surprise. The steak frites was decent. It's better to get one of the main steak entrees for an extra ~$10. I wish it was cooked medium-rare instead of medium-well! Be sure to clarify how you want your steak done. The bread pudding was 100% the star of the show. Tip: ask for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Delicious!

Peter S.

Yelp
This is a great place for meal with friends or a nice occasion. Always good both locations service and food are always really solid. RIBS STEAKS SUSHI BURGER SALMON whatever you get is done right, quality is good- never issues. The hostess stand could be friendlier and smile maybe just once but usually younger girls who haven't been taught to be friendly to paying guests. One of our go to places though for years. It's nice casual to dressy but nice casual is perfect. Enjoy !! Both have pretty ample parking in and around the restaurants in cool springs and on west end.

Matthew W.

Yelp
Outstanding service and food. have eaten in and taken out and both did not disappoint!

Rick S.

Yelp
In a word... Outstanding!! From the time we were seated to the final bite of dessert, the service was excellent. The food was incredible from the appetizers to the amazing Key Lime Pie! We will be regulars from here on out!

Mike R.

Yelp
Great experience and service wait staff made the company dinner very special and will be back soon

Andrew P.

Yelp
Went here for lunch ..... This place does not disappoint! Absolutely fabulous! The restaurant was packed at 1:30... this is a good sign. The food was delicious. The presentation on the plate was on spot. We have lived here for six years and this is our first time trying Bricktops. We definitely will be back with our entire family! The entire staff is so professional, welcoming, and nice. Jenna is a fabulous waitress.

Tom H.

Yelp
I would have given them 5, however I ordered the strip steak and it could have been trimmed better. It had a nice thick slice of fat and gristle that I had to cut off. Other than that service and food was excellent.

Jayson B.

Yelp
Food? Outstanding. I get the same thing every time - grilled trout is 10/10, divine. Service is always amazing, ambiance is gorgeous, the only thing that is a miss is the noise level - we go all the time and the last time it was next level loud. Definitely won't deter me from going back, that's def one of our spots!

Bri B.

Yelp
If you're in the area, don't you dare go anywhere for drinks and good food but here! Their service was AMAZING! I had my first piece of trout here and will never regret it. Spinach dip, salmon w alfredo, trout, loaded mashed potatoes and cauliflower were all amazing. The food was so hot I burned my tongue! BrickTops is on the top of my list everytime. Will be back and bring friends. Gorgeous restaurant

Shay T.

Yelp
Food is always on point, service is always amazing! Very busy place so I highly recommend making a reservation. They NEVER disappoint.

Alicia S.

Yelp
Food was delicious & service was great! Had the chowder, tavern burgee/shoe string fries & husband had the crab cakes & broccolini. Definitely recommend & will return next time we are in Nashville/Cool Springs.

Liz C.

Yelp
Have always had pleasant experiences when coming here. Wait staff was on top of it. We went to celebrate our daughter's baby announcement and the staff made the whole event even that more special.

Amanda F.

Yelp
What a nice atmosphere! Upscale, casual decor with white tablecloths. Deviled eggs were delicious! Bacon was amazing! Fish tacos were tasty and steak frites was delightful. Waiters were attentive. Overall great experience.

Diane R.

Yelp
The Steak is phenomenal and the service is amazing! And if the entrees aren't delicious enough the sides are extraordinary and so filling. The ambiance is also so mellow and calm.I do recommend wearing something a little fancy for this beautiful restaurant and experience.

G C.

Yelp
Food was just okay. I ordered the cedar plank salmon and towards the middle of the salmon, it was a bit raw. In addition, the seasoning did not penetrate below the surface of the salmon. As a result, it was a bit bland. I might give them another opportunity and order something else next time I'm in town as it could have been a one-off.

Karen L.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant, excellent service. The wedge salad was more leafy lettuce than a true wedge. I prefer a cold crisp iceberg wedge. The toppings were very good. The blue cheese dressing is excellent. The prime rib was a nice cut, but it and the au jus were only slightly warm and cooled off quickly. The carrot cake was good, but nothing outstanding. It was served very warm which I prefer room temp. Nice meal but could be better.

Teresa W.

Yelp
Excellent food and drinks. A great place to meet up with family, friends or coworkers.

Tammy R.

Yelp
This has become a staple with my husband and I. We love everything about it. Also for their steak frites they use Tri Tip - very hard to find here!

Jo G.

Yelp
I'm writing an entire review solely for the cookie skillet!!! God bless you BrickTop's, for you have given my life meaningthe cookie is one of the most delectable things I have ever eaten, possibly even beating the Hilton hotel cookies (idk something aboot the artificial taste-lmk if I'm not alone on that train) Back to the BTops, I come here often and have always got the cookie as it fills up my heart along will my belly!

Tam S.

Yelp
Passing through this town and decided to have Mother's Day dinner here. So glad we did, despite it being super packed. Outside of the food being delicious and the wine selection expansive, what really stood out was the attentive and friendly service. With every dish we ordered, we can taste and see the attention to detail and creativity displayed on each creation. Despite being slammed, everyone has a great attitude, worked well together, and remained super attentive while providing excellent service.

Lisa L.

Yelp
This is my go to restaurant with friends! The million dollar bacon is my favorite.. Always high class service and the ambience is super cozy. The sushi specials are to die for- you can never go wrong coming here.
