We did have a short wait so I recommend a reservation if you don't want to be delayed. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The menu was full of unique options in a wide range of prices. The vibe is classy but not stuffy, with great service and a menu full of hits. The grilled artichokes were smoky and delicious, especially paired with the aioli. The deviled eggs with candied bacon? Chef’s kiss. Sweet, savory, creamy, crunchy—everything you want in a bite. For dessert, we couldn’t choose just one, so we split the chocolate pie (SO fluffy and rich) and the skillet cookie. So glad we had a reservation because at 1pm on a Friday it was packed. Service was a little slow but the food was wonderful and the atmosphere was lively. I needed something light and refreshing and their cabrese with burrata hit the spot!

I had an incredible dining experience at Bricktops in Frontenac, MO, and I can confidently say it deserves a five-star rating! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and upscale, setting the perfect stage for a delightful meal. The menu offers a fantastic selection of dishes, and everything we ordered was truly delicious and beautifully presented. Each bite was packed with flavor, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the ingredients used. What made this visit extra special was our server, Kaitlyn. Her attention to detail and outstanding service took our experience to the next level. Went there for lunch. Very nice place with professional service. Tavern Burger was good, but a little burnt. Cobb Salad, Crab Cake and Steak Frites all looked great

Had a great night! Angela was our waiter and she was amazing. I didn’t realize they had discontinued broccolini (that is what I came for) and had regular broccoli so when it came out I was just going to eat it since it was my fault for not reading it as broccoli and not broccolini. I asked her when did they change it and she said I’m sorry it’s been a while but I’ll gladly get you another side. I told her it was ok but I must have looked disappointed and she without question brought me a twice baked potato since I was debating on that or mashed potato as a side. I would have never guessed it was loaded. It is one of the best twice baked I have ever had at a restaurant. Needless to say I will be back and ordering that as I always passed on it due to not sure if it tastes good or not. If you go ask for Angela and also never let our beverages go empty and this was a busy day so I appreciate her customer service. I also loved seeing the managers working and not leaving the employees stressed from the crowd. I saw one prepping food and another brought my food to the table. I love it!

Fantastic spot for upscale casual eating. Great bar up front that sets the vibe for the whole restaurant. If you’re staying at the hotel across the way dine here instead, the atmosphere/quality of food are not comparable.

We started with pomegranate cosmo. The cosmo was not as smooth as other places. I like it when you can’t taste the vodka. I’d give the cosmo a 3.5 out of 5. Then we split the Bistro Chicken and mashed potatoes. The Bistro Chicken was incredibly tender and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken. The mashed potatoes were the side show for this meal. Our server was Deja. She was incredible. Deja was very friendly and extremely helpful. She’s one of my favorite waitresses. This is a fun restaurant at Plaza Frontenac.

Killer crab cakes! The best I've had in saint Louis. Service has lacked a bit on both occasions, but otherwise the food is stellar and the location is prime.

BrickTop's was an experience for sure. Food: Delicious. We had two items off their specials menu, the Red Fish and Beef Wellington. The fish was some of the best I've ever had, the seasoning was on point and the cook was excellent, I just wish the portion was a bit bigger as it left me wanting more. The broccoli wasn't much of anything, but the sauce they gave was great for dipping. The beef was also delicious, perfect Medium, the pastry was buttery and not too thick, the paste inside added a nice flavor as well. The only down side was the mash potatoes weren't as hot as I would've liked ( like my food HOT). Not Pictured: Carrot Cake: came out warm and delicious cream cheese frosting - very good - only knock is there was way to many coconut flakes on top (personal preference but also changes the texture of the dessert!) Servers were nice and a little inconsistent (forgetful) as they were pretty busy and we had a big table but they were attentive and made the birthday human feel special! All in all I would come here to try their specials and would come again if invited for a special occasion

Resturant located next to the mall. The resturant was really nice and we had a good time. The server was wonderful and attentive. The food was pretty good besides the prime meatloaf. My husband wasn't a fan. Would we come back? Maybe. While the good was good for the most part, or wasn't memorable or the best tasting that we've had.

Hello BrickTops is a nice place. The bar area was very busy. I tried the cobb salad and deviled eggs. I am strange like that! The pictures i had seen in advertising or here on Yelp made the Cob Salad look amazing. I was a little disappointed mine just did not look as i had seen. Oh well, all was good. I was not wowed but good. I will be back to try more. 4 stars for now!

Met at Bricktop's for early happy hour, what a great first stop! We sat at the bar as it wasn't too busy yet, had a glass of wine and the white sangria (which was lovely!) we had a fairly large group of people about 15 and I was amazed that they had at least four bartenders working the bar at all times! They were super attentive and great! We ordered sushi as they have the BEST sushi ever! Of course I forgot to take a pic (gonna have to come back for more sushi!) This place is in a great location and got crazy busy as we were headed to our next stop... check it out, they have great food so not a bad idea for a dinner date or happy hour they can handle either quite well!

Came here for a quick bite to catch up with an old friend. We decided to sit at the bar and instead of a table. All of the bar staff are friendly and attentive. I decided to order a palm beach salad, side of fettuccine, and a mocktail. The bar tender was kind enough to mix sprite and cranberry juice together. I'm watching the amount of carbs I eat so I appreciate the kind gesture. The palm beach salad was so good. The presentation was nice and honestly I would come back to eat this salad atleast twice a week. The fettuccine was alright but not the best noodles I've had. My friend had the au tuna steak and they enjoyed it as well. I wish the bar seats weren't so close together it makes it a bit uncomfortable for other guest to sit at the bar when the sitting is so close. Other than that the customer service was exceptional. As always until next time...

We came here for a celebration dinner. Most of our party got the salmon and really enjoyed it. Things were not easily marked for allergies (gluten,nuts,etc) however our waiter was very helpful helping us navigate the menu. We all got different deserts and everyone seemed to like them, the bread pudding I would highly recommend as it was one of the best I've ever had!

We were greeted courteously upon entering. Food was excellent as was the service. I had the Prime Rib which is tender and delicious. Rest of our party enjoyed their food. Our server was excellent and checked on us, during our meal. One exception: The- young lady, hostess who showed us to our table never smiled, nor spoke and seemed very aloof. Never mentioned that our server will be with us shortly. Just placed our menus on our table and walked away. That's the impression I got, and it wasn't good. Seemed as if she was being bothered.

The building is impressive. The decor is comfortable and classy. Happy hour was so reasonable and the food and drink choices were great. Service at the bar was happy! Enjoyed some delicious and pricey food. Like the menu which is not overloaded with choices. Nice selection of wine and cocktails.Very popular place . Glad we had reservations. Service for us in the dining room was not as attentive as we thought it should be. We shouldn't have to get up and look for our server! At these prices, my expectations run high for food, ambience and service.

We celebrated a birthday for a relative, we did not have a long wait, where they set us was perfect. They were able to accommodate our entire party. The food was amazing. It was served piping hot. Our servers were amazing.

It was easy to make a reservation online. Customer service was great from the hostess to the server. My meal started with a refreshing Margarita, with the right amount of Tequila. I ordered salmon, brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious! The warm carrot cake drizzled with caramel sauce, PHENOMENAL!!! Please excuse my hunger, I had to take a bite of that salmon before I took a picture!

We had a nice lunch date at Bricktops following a trip to Frontenac mall! Parking is accessible. No wait for lunchtime. Our service was great, good ambiance nice decor... the food was great, there are not many veg only options, but most items you can request no bacon! Nice lunch date, great for groups, party of 2 or even solo, lots of bar space.

Food was average, honestly below average for the price point, service was good, although we sat outside and were swarmed by about 5 flies (which doesn't sound like a lot but was very distracting during conversation every few seconds a fly buzzes past or lands on your food), you'd think they could do something about that with this being a higher end restaurant, I got the sea bass and the portion was minuscule and left hungry, food was barely warm

Wow! We will be going back to this place. There is a huge parking lot to park so no street parking here. The place is nice dim lighting through out. Food was Great! We had a crabcake, which was fresh and light. Caesar salad was good. My husband had the fillet with a loaded baked potato. Fillet was great. I had the Chicken Milanese with fettuccine was awesome. And we had to finish it off with the chocolate chip cookie, vanilla ice cream with caramel on top. Phenomenal. Our service was Great! The only reason I gave this place a four out of five is because there was some trash on the ground here and there, and because the place is a little louder.

Let's start with the good, shall we? First of all, the cocktails were WONDERFUL! I had appetizers for my meal and they were absolutely delicious. I don't think I'd order the artichokes again, but that just might be my personal tastes. The ambiance was very nice also. What brought my rating down from a full 5 stars was our server (SUCH a shame!). I had to get up 3 times during the evening to go and find her, or ask somebody else who worked there to please find her. We were a group of 7 (was supposed to be larger) and so the tip was automatically added. Everyone there thought the server was horrible, and I think it was because she was going to get 18% no matter what, so why make an effort. A real shame, because this place was really great in all the other ways.

The food was delicious, I had California artichokes I really enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo. The service was good our waitress took care of us pretty well for lunch time. I enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying the beautiful weather. It's a nosy place on the patio perhaps inside is a bit more romantic, but I love the outdoor eating so well.

We went here with a group of friends. This was our first time here. We got devil eggs and bacons for our appetizer. I got the salmon with added pasta for my entree. My boyfriend got prime rib. Our friends got the shrimps and salad for appetizers. As for their entrees, they got salmon, trout and prime rib. The food was great. The server was quick and very fast to fill our drinks.

When I met a buddy here after work, I wasn't sure where this was. Since I was a bit late, I headed for the mall and asked. After figuring out it was a stand alone building at one end of the mall, I headed into the crowd. It was packed but we managed a booth. Slightly higher end entrees for a slightly higher end bear. I had a chicken breast, dressed up nice and fancy. Super helpful staff when we had to do some bill manipulation!

We've eaten here so many times and never had a bad experience. The atmosphere, service and food are truly top-notch. Definitely a must try in the area for an upscale but still casual dinner!

I didn't take any pictures but the presentation was very nice. All of our meals looked and tasted great. The cocktails were just ok but this place was hoping. Very busy for a week night so they must be doing something right. I've eaten here several times over the years and my meals have always been tasty. Service was good but not great. I would definitely recommend this establishment for lunch or dinner. If you are a cocktail aficionado you might want to go somewhere else for drinks.

A group of 7 of us went to Bricktop's on a Monday night. We made reservations and were seated when we arrived. This was my first time visiting this establishment. Our service was very slow and had to go find our waitress a couple of times. I ordered the Palm Beach Salad which is crab, shrimp, dice tomato and Avocado stacked next to mixed lettuce. It came out looking beautiful. The taste didn't measure up. There was so much avocado it overpowered all the other ingredients. The salad wasn't worth the $26 price in my opinion. Fresh warm bread rolls were delivered to the table. I don't think I will be back.

Nice place, business casual attire. Service is overly good and very customer centric. The food is dynamite, make sure you try the deviled eggs and millionaire's bacon!

Fancy dancy place that would be great for a date night. A bit on the pricey side. Server was super friendly and gave recommendations. You could tell they also loved the food. Steak was perfectly done to our order, so much flavor. Potato was decadent but the skin needed some more salt. Server recommended the verte sauce and it did not disappoint. The gin and tonic was floral and balanced, would order again.

We LOVE this place! We come a lot and always sit at the bar. Emily and Jacobi are our favorite bartenders, but everybody is super nice. The atmosphere is pretty cool, but the bar does get very busy at night. The food is amazing!!! We like the sushi, burgers, and chicken. Everything we eat had is something we would order again. We come all the time and will definitely continue to do so!!

I have never been to this restaurant and was wowed by the dining experience! There is a very exciting energy throughout the restaurant. I love the spaciousness and the way it is designed. The ambiance was very inviting and romantic or for a party of friends. I was introduced to the most delicious deviled eggs I have ever tasted along with hickory smoked and maple honey (millionaire) bacon!! The grilled halibut and sauteed spinach was very delicious. The halibut just melted in my mouth with a lot of flavors, there was bearnaise sauce on the side, which added the extra touch. The service was impeccable! Our water was continuously refilled. The wait staff made you feel like coming home for a delicious meal you did not cook. I cannot wait to share this restaurant with my friends and family.

Decided to try this place before shopping at the Frontenac mall and it was lovely. Truly enjoyed our food and ambiance we came back a few days later for dinner. Service was top notch.

I went here for lunch with my coworkers one day and it was a great experience. The customer service (host, server, and everyone else) was on point, even though they were extremely busy. I felt like they went above and beyond at this restaurant to make sure we were satisfied, which stood out to me in such a positive way. The bread pudding (not pictured) was phenomenal!! I've never thought "hmm, I could really go for some bread pudding at the moment", but damn... that thought will cross my mind now, after trying theirs. The buttery crab sushi (I forgot its official name) was amazing as well. You dip the sushi roll into a buttery sauce (or is it just melted butter? Either way, so good) instead of soy sauce. YUM!

My go-to takeout, meet up & happy hour spot. Ambiance inside includes spacious dining sections, dimly lit booths & tables as well as a bar area. Service is usually prompt & friendly. I enjoy the grilled artichoke, calamari. fresh oysters, trout or grilled salmon. Rarely do I deviate from these items because they are all pretty unbeatable. Located at the Clayton entrance on Plaza Frontenac. There's outside seating during pleasant weather months & cozy options in the brutal cold. Plenty of parking on the open lot. Curbside is a hit but highly suggest checking your order before pulling away. ~Christy

Delicious! We frequent here often but yesterday was top notch! The French dip is no doubt the best in STL. The poke bowl...just wow! So fresh and filling! Highly recommend. The bar area is fun, only a few TVs so if you are trying to watch a specific game, might not be the best option.

Consistent, good quality and excellent servers. Noise when inside a problem, outside nice but unable to reserve table there.

Their service is very good. we couldn't have been happier with our server. He was very attentive and polite. However, the food left quite a bit to be desired. Nothing was subtle. Everything seemed like it came frozen. The salmon probably frozen not fresh. Fish tacos? Seemed like frozen fish sticks that were seasoned and cooked. This isn't to say that any of it is bad or offensive. It just isn't great. it's a pretty decent place to go grab a meal - but it isn't somewhere that I would go on a date again nor would I go out of my way to eat here. We got the deviled eggs, the salmon and the fish tacos. Everything was over seasoned and most likely frozen versus fresh. also I am pretty sure the salsa was pace salsa from the jar - it's not that hard to make fresh salsa guys.

I treated my cousin to brunch for her birthday. The wait wasn't long which was great. The setting was busy as usual on a Sunday. However, I was so upset with myself. I LOVE Bricktops malted waffle but decided to try the crab benedict. DISAPPOINTED is an understatement. The dish came out with what looked like a sprinkle of crab on top of my eggs. I usually LOVE their potatoes but they were just ok on this visit. I struggled to eat my meal. The crab was fishy. Not fresh at all. Honestly, the best part of my meal was the extra english muffin I mistakenly ordered. The texture and flavor were perfect with strawberry jam. If I go back I will stick to what I know. I hate I didn't take a pic. Oh one other thing I DID NOT LIKE is that there was a police officer posted at the front door. What's THAT ABOUT?!

Delicious lobster bisque soup crab cakes and the shrimp on the appetizer yum! Great service and atmosphere!

I love Bricktop's . I miss the Bloody Mary bar but the food is always good. My favorite is the chicken and waffles but everything is great.

I dare you to find me better steak and eggs! I've been coming here for a few years now and have had both breakfast and dinner. Let me be the first to say, neither disappoint! I usually sit at the bar when I go and am always greeted promptly. There's ample space, so you shouldn't have an issue getting a seat and still having room. Out of all the dishes I've had, the steak and eggs reign supreme. The steak is tender and juicy, the eggs are cooked perfectly and well seasoned and the English muffin is plain good. Bricktop's is always consistent with their food and service and it makes a difference that the staff is friendly, too. I think the food is great for the price point and overall, this is one of my favorite brunch spots!

Went for a birthday celebration. The place was busy with homecoming and were prepared for it! We were seated close to our reservation time and quickly waited on. The appetizers of calamari and spinach dip were good. The Parmesan Halibut was fantastic. Only disadvantage of the Halibut was it didn't include a side. For the price, and the small side, I'm not sure it's worth an additional $8. Compared to other restaurants and the price points, an $8 side would be family style size. This wasn't. Our server wasn't over burdening us but was there every time we needed something. Parking is easy in the large lot. Reservations probably recommended. All in all - I'll go back! It was a great meal and pleasant experience.

Had dinner here last night. We were a large party (10+) with reservations. Our table was small and everyone was packed in closely. Staff went around the table and took our orders. Never collected our menus so we had a pile of them on the table until one of our party went around and collected them and delivered back to the front. Food took an hour to deliver. Tasted ok. Kids were given ice cream without spoons. The table next to us emptied and there was a pile of Plackers Dental Flossie's next to the used dinner plates. The table wasn't cleared and cleaned for thirty minutes. Management didn't seem to care. Bill was over $1k. Terrible experience and not worth the investment of time and money. So many better places to eat in STL.

What I thought would be a night of whining and complaining after losing my job due to layoffs, turned into a night of good vibrations, wining, and dining thanks to Bricktops. There was no time for crying with James as our server. He was absolutely fantastic. He was very attentive and knew how to talk my language since I'm very particular when it comes to getting my food right. Did I say the food was superb!! I'm not much of a drinker but I started with a Pear Margarita which was a little too sweet for me but James quickly swapped it out for a Cadillac Margarita. Let's put it this way, you will not be able to complain about not tasting the alcohol. They know how to pour it on if you like nice strong drinks. I started with Yum Yum and Hollywood Sushi. Both were delicious with Hollywood being my favorite. Now to the highlight of this evening. I ordered a Cowboy Ribeye. Let me tell you, this was the best steak I have ever had in my life and I mean EVER!!! It was cooked to perfection, perfectly medium while leaning more towards medium rare as ordered. They got it right! It literally melted in my mouth. Omg!!! It was so good I couldn't even cry about spending $88 on what I thought was a $50 steak. Worth every penny!! The Corn Pudding is a must have. By the time we ordered the second round, they had already sold out. Don't drag your feet on this dish. I never got around to trying the deviled eggs, but I hear they are the best! I topped off my night with a super moist bread pudding with caramel and cream sauce that I could only pack to go. Needless to say, this was an expensive but fantastic bon voyage celebration with a group of wonderful ladies. Bricktops has become one of my top go to restaurants. It's a must have with its very diverse menu that is sure to please everyone's palate. No complaints or return orders from me! Absolutely Superb!

Incredibly consistent 5 star quality of delicious fare, white table cloth service, and inviting ambiance. For an extraordinary date, or a memorable family outing, you simply cannot miss. It's a fantastic way to delight all of your senses. Just try not to be distracted by those who dress as if going to a Denny's. Luckily, they are few in number :), but somehow they cannot seem to muster the respect that such a fine establishment has earned. I was extremely fortunate to have been part of the reason why they're here in St. Louis. Here's hoping that they continue to have a very long, and prosperous stay!

Service wasn't the best. Forgot multiple items. I ordered the chicken and it came out cold and was even colder due to the doors being open.

Update.... Once a favorite place, now completely ignored me at the front door for 10 solid mins with eye contact with servers then to only to received an overcooked dry burnt steak.

As always, excellent service. I was here for a business meeting today. The grilled artichoke is my usual go-to appetizer at Bricktops...delicious! I ordered the deviled eggs appetizer and my usual seared ahi tuna steak entree this time. Both are delicious and beautifully presented. The deviled eggs have a unique taste with a salty/sweet flavor. I can only eat one or two, as they are pretty rich but tasty! Ahi tuna is fire

Whether it's a date night or working lunch Bricktop's is solid. You will always have wonderful and accommodating service here. Our meals and drinks from the bar came quickly and the waiter was knowledgeable about wine choices. The Crabcake is my favorite it's nice and full of crab not breading like some places. My fiancé got the Seabass and it was very delicious. I got the Chicken Milanese, I wasn't really a fan of this but it was well presented and hot. It just had too much going on and overpowered with the cream sauce.

We had a fantastic evening at Bricktop's! I'd only been for brunch previously, but dinner was even better! Our table was a little uncomfortable, but it was a busy evening so I'm sure utilizing all the space was necessary! Our server was outstanding, she was helpful and knowledgable and helped us realized a side we wanted was actually available even though it wasn't on the menu. Drinks were great, food was great. An overall outstanding experience!

Food was delicious. Drinks are pricey however they were good and strong. (5 Old Fashions in). Our servers were on point and very knowledgeable. I will return!
