We celebrated our anniversary here last night and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel special—especially our server, Juliet, who was incredibly lovely, patient, and thorough when explaining the specials. We started with the Shanghai shrimp and calamari, both of which were excellent. For our entrees, we enjoyed the steak frites and the chicken ricotta, and everything was beautifully prepared and flavorful. A thoughtful highlight of the night was the handwritten anniversary note signed by the staff, which truly meant a lot to us. Great food, great service, and a memorable experience we will definitely be back.

I love this place—from the easy parking to the great service and amazing food. We truly enjoyed our experience. We started with the artichoke as an appetizer, followed by crab cakes and steak for our entrées, and finished with a chocolate cake for dessert. Every dish was perfectly prepared and delicious. We’re already looking forward to going back soon. 100% recommended!

We were happy we planned ahead because the restaurant was buzzing even early Friday afternoon. The energy in the room was fun and welcoming, making the experience feel special right away. While the service took a bit of time, the food more than made up for it. I was looking for something crisp and refreshing and the Sirloin meatloaf with Brussels and mashed that was exactly what I needed. Light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. A great spot for both the food and the vibe.

We did have a short wait so I recommend a reservation if you don't want to be delayed. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The menu was full of unique options in a wide range of prices. In town for business and decided to take a crack at the restaurant and so glad that I did. The entire experience was amazing and I my server Lani was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Asked Lani what she would recommend and her choices (lobster bisque, steak frites, and bread pudding) were exactly on point. Food was delicious and atmosphere chill for a Monday evening. Great experience and appreciative of such great customer service.

Love this place! So many delicious things and the staff is top notch! Def recommend getting a reservation. The yum yum roll is fantastic, it's topped w thin strips of rare filet, crispy shrimp tempera and asparagus inside, crunchy topping, spicy mayo and eel sauce on top of the roll make each bite a delight! Spicy, crunchy, creamy and perfect! Fantastic mashed potatoes topped w melted butter right before serving, so many great things on a small menu. I go there weekly just for the yum yum roll.

I had an incredible dining experience at Bricktops in Frontenac, MO, and I can confidently say it deserves a five-star rating! The dining room was beautiful, the food was delicious. We were there for Sunday brunch and I ordered the Brioche French Toast, which was very good. My cousin ordered deviled eggs for the table twice! That's how good they were. Usually in a place that large That's completely full, the noise level is ridiculous. But not there. We were able to enjoy our conversation without shouting to be heard. Everyone in our party of 10 enjoyed ourselves.

I really enjoyed dining here. The environment was casual but at the same time, very classy! A group of friends and I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and it was very busy. There was a little bit of a wait for the food, but it was worth it. The food platings were picture perfect and the portion sizes were generous, in addition to being very well prepared. I would just add that it is a little pricey. But considering the location, keep in mind you're paying for the whole experience.

I decided to order to go and it was very easy to park, get in and out, and on my way. I order a skirt steak and they put the sauce on the side. It came with fries. It also came with complimentary bread with butter and I go 2 little cookies in my bag! I liked how thin the fries were. The steak was good! Cooked how I like it. And I enjoyed my little extras. They were also very friendly when I popped in to get my pick up. It wasn't ready just yet but I sat down on a long bench they had and one of the waitresses came up and asked if I wanted a water or anything while I waited. That has never happened to me before waiting for takeout!

One of those spots that you always wanna try. Celebrated my hubbys birthday few days early. Gave him those spot and another to select from. Arrived around 5pm on a Monday. Fighting 40 traffic wasn't fun. Plenty of parking. Bat was packed! Happy hour specials offered limited choices so we got dinner. Seated immediately at a booth. Waiter was nice; not pushy. Not chatty; had to ask for more bread. Twice rolls with butter. Then two more after asking. I got chicken breast meal with a buttery sauce and mashed potatoes. It was tasty; $30 no other side; no salad. Hubby opted for strip steak medium rare. He said it was more chewy than he expected. Appetizer was a slightly sweet shrimp dish. I don't eat seafood; hubby said it was good. Two glasses of wine, two entrees and appetizer. With tip about $140. Worth it? Still debating. And the women's restroom, although clean but has the darkest stalls ever.

Ole faithful never disappoints!! Random lunch and as always I was satisfied!! Service is always good and is never too loud but always chill and a vibe!

What a busy place on Sunday for brunch! The menu looks great and exciting so deciding what to order is pretty challenging. As I wait for my companion, I am contemplating what to order and decided on the special crab Benedict w crispy potatoes. Also a Bloody Mary. It was delish! My companion had the chicken and waffles which she also enjoyed. Our server was delightful and the ambiance is okay but the noise levels are always off the charts there. Enjoyed myself very much for a holiday brunch. I'll be back!

Who knew Bricktops was the Sunday brunch hot spot? The place was packed, between the after-church crowd and people just out to brunch for fun like us. Our food took forever (and I mean forever), but the staff kept us updated and even comped us a second bottle of Veuve Clicquot. When the food finally arrived, it was worth it. My steak and eggs were perfect and the steak was seasoned and cooked just right. The potatoes came out crispy and tasty. I love deviled eggs and these were top-tier. They were extra creamy with plenty of filling. The bacon was cooked exactly how I like it soft and not too crunchy. A solid brunch experience.

We were able to snag a last-minute reservation on a Friday night. The restaurant had a classy and upscale feel. Our waitress was fantastic from start to finish. We started with the Shanghai shrimp and the spinach and artichoke dip--both were excellent, and the spinach dip was especially rich and creamy. Complimentary bread and butter were brought out. For entrées, we ordered the Bistro Chicken and the Chicken Milanese. The Chicken Milanese was outstanding--perfectly thin, crispy, and cooked just right. It was served with fettuccine Alfredo, which paired well with the chicken. Do not leave without trying the warm bread pudding with caramel sauce--it's absolutely to die for.

BrickTop's was an experience for sure. Food: Delicious. We had two items off their specials menu, the Red Fish and Beef Wellington. The fish was some of the best I've ever had, the seasoning was on point and the cook was excellent, I just wish the portion was a bit bigger as it left me wanting more. The broccoli wasn't much of anything, but the sauce they gave was great for dipping. The beef was also delicious, perfect Medium, the pastry was buttery and not too thick, the paste inside added a nice flavor as well. The only down side was the mash potatoes weren't as hot as I would've liked ( like my food HOT). Not Pictured: Carrot Cake: came out warm and delicious cream cheese frosting - very good - only knock is there was way to many coconut flakes on top (personal preference but also changes the texture of the dessert!) Servers were nice and a little inconsistent (forgetful) as they were pretty busy and we had a big table but they were attentive and made the birthday human feel special! All in all I would come here to try their specials and would come again if invited for a special occasion

Resturant located next to the mall. The resturant was really nice and we had a good time. The server was wonderful and attentive. The food was pretty good besides the prime meatloaf. My husband wasn't a fan. Would we come back? Maybe. While the good was good for the most part, or wasn't memorable or the best tasting that we've had.

Came here for a quick bite to catch up with an old friend. We decided to sit at the bar and instead of a table. All of the bar staff are friendly and attentive. I decided to order a palm beach salad, side of fettuccine, and a mocktail. The bar tender was kind enough to mix sprite and cranberry juice together. I'm watching the amount of carbs I eat so I appreciate the kind gesture. The palm beach salad was so good. The presentation was nice and honestly I would come back to eat this salad atleast twice a week. The fettuccine was alright but not the best noodles I've had. My friend had the au tuna steak and they enjoyed it as well. I wish the bar seats weren't so close together it makes it a bit uncomfortable for other guest to sit at the bar when the sitting is so close. Other than that the customer service was exceptional. As always until next time...

I went here last Friday with some girlfriends. The food was great! We got the grilled artichokes, cedar salad, and the dragon sushi roll. The best part of the experience was our waitress Dorothy. She's was so lovely and welcoming. She checked in with us frequently and was so fun to chat with!

Hello BrickTops is a nice place. The bar area was very busy. I tried the cobb salad and deviled eggs. I am strange like that! The pictures i had seen in advertising or here on Yelp made the Cob Salad look amazing. I was a little disappointed mine just did not look as i had seen. Oh well, all was good. I was not wowed but good. I will be back to try more. 4 stars for now!

I've been to BrickTop's 2 separate times now and I've ordered the Bistro Chicken both times. I haven't gotten to try some other things out just yet, but this dish is amazing! The chicken is seasoned very well, the sauce is creamy and the creamy whipped potatoes are smooth and soft. I have also had the Warm Bread Pudding with the Carmel sauce, it's absolutely to die for! One of the best desserts I've ever had! The servers were always nice in my experience, they always came around time to time to clear the table, refill drinks, answer questions while also giving us the privacy/space to converse. The place may seem to be a quiet and reserved but once you step inside it is lively but classy. You will need to speak up to talk to one another, but nothing new compared to other restaurants. The lights are nicely dimmed with a warm ambiance. Overall it's a great experience!

My husband and I and several friends have been regulars for years. But all are in agreement that the food has gone significantly downhill. Last weekend we ordered calamari on the appetizer menu. We sent it back immediately. The food was dry, cold and had clearly been fried HOURS before. Multiple pieces were not even calamari, but fried banana peppers. I found it offensive that they would serve up such total garbage. That's the case for other appetizers and all of the sushi rolls, which used to be so good. This is the second bad review I've left this restaurant, a sign that it's time to find another local place to frequent. It's a shame. JB

Met at Bricktop's for early happy hour, what a great first stop! We sat at the bar as it wasn't too busy yet, had a glass of wine and the white sangria (which was lovely!) we had a fairly large group of people about 15 and I was amazed that they had at least four bartenders working the bar at all times! They were super attentive and great! We ordered sushi as they have the BEST sushi ever! Of course I forgot to take a pic (gonna have to come back for more sushi!) This place is in a great location and got crazy busy as we were headed to our next stop... check it out, they have great food so not a bad idea for a dinner date or happy hour they can handle either quite well!

We started with pomegranate cosmo. The cosmo was not as smooth as other places. I like it when you can't taste the vodka. I'd give the cosmo a 3.5 out of 5. Then we split the Bistro Chicken and mashed potatoes. The Bistro Chicken was incredibly tender and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken. The mashed potatoes were the side show for this meal. Our server was Deja. She was incredible. Deja was very friendly and extremely helpful. She's one of my favorite waitresses. This is a fun restaurant at Plaza Frontenac.

The building is impressive. The decor is comfortable and classy. Happy hour was so reasonable and the food and drink choices were great. Service at the bar was happy! Enjoyed some delicious and pricey food. Like the menu which is not overloaded with choices. Nice selection of wine and cocktails.Very popular place . Glad we had reservations. Service for us in the dining room was not as attentive as we thought it should be. We shouldn't have to get up and look for our server! At these prices, my expectations run high for food, ambience and service.

It was easy to make a reservation online. Customer service was great from the hostess to the server. My meal started with a refreshing Margarita, with the right amount of Tequila. I ordered salmon, brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious! The warm carrot cake drizzled with caramel sauce, PHENOMENAL!!! Please excuse my hunger, I had to take a bite of that salmon before I took a picture!

Bricktops restaurant in Frontenac is by far one of my favorite dining experiences. During evening time, the ambiance is perfect for a date night out. The dining booths have beautiful, modern lamps that yields warm, muted lighting. Each table is covered by a clean, white tablecloth adding to the elegance. There is an enchanting four season patio for those who prefer to enjoy the outdoor breeze during spring/summer. The patio is covered with a heavy, clear plastic in cooler weather. Everything I have ever ordered has been delicious. A few of my favorites include the beet and goat cheese salad, chicken milanese/bistro chicken, blackened ribeye, shanghai shrimp and crab cakes. The other reason (besides the food) that keeps us coming back is the excellent service. Stop by and enjoy!

Food is top notch and service is always impeccable. I'm reluctant to say how good their Happy Hour is because I don't want to lose my spot at the bar! But even if it's not Happy Hour, their food is SO GOOD! Drinks are also great, and prices are very fair. Ambiance is also great. This is our "go to" for family celebrations as well.

We had a nice lunch date at Bricktops following a trip to Frontenac mall! Parking is accessible. No wait for lunchtime. Our service was great, good ambiance nice decor... the food was great, there are not many veg only options, but most items you can request no bacon! Nice lunch date, great for groups, party of 2 or even solo, lots of bar space.

Let's start with the good, shall we? First of all, the cocktails were WONDERFUL! I had appetizers for my meal and they were absolutely delicious. I don't think I'd order the artichokes again, but that just might be my personal tastes. The ambiance was very nice also. What brought my rating down from a full 5 stars was our server (SUCH a shame!). I had to get up 3 times during the evening to go and find her, or ask somebody else who worked there to please find her. We were a group of 7 (was supposed to be larger) and so the tip was automatically added. Everyone there thought the server was horrible, and I think it was because she was going to get 18% no matter what, so why make an effort. A real shame, because this place was really great in all the other ways.

The food was delicious, I had California artichokes I really enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo. The service was good our waitress took care of us pretty well for lunch time. I enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying the beautiful weather. It's a nosy place on the patio perhaps inside is a bit more romantic, but I love the outdoor eating so well.

We went here with a group of friends. This was our first time here. We got devil eggs and bacons for our appetizer. I got the salmon with added pasta for my entree. My boyfriend got prime rib. Our friends got the shrimps and salad for appetizers. As for their entrees, they got salmon, trout and prime rib. The food was great. The server was quick and very fast to fill our drinks.

When I met a buddy here after work, I wasn't sure where this was. Since I was a bit late, I headed for the mall and asked. After figuring out it was a stand alone building at one end of the mall, I headed into the crowd. It was packed but we managed a booth. Slightly higher end entrees for a slightly higher end bear. I had a chicken breast, dressed up nice and fancy. Super helpful staff when we had to do some bill manipulation!

French Onion soup!! Mostly in the cooler months! The ribs remind me of the old Houston's restaurant, very tasty!

We came here for a celebration dinner. Most of our party got the salmon and really enjoyed it. Things were not easily marked for allergies (gluten,nuts,etc) however our waiter was very helpful helping us navigate the menu. We all got different deserts and everyone seemed to like them, the bread pudding I would highly recommend as it was one of the best I've ever had!

We went the other night with 8 people seated right on time. I had the palm beach salad and thought it was good and my spoise had a steak and thought it was good. There was a mix of other dishes and nobody complained. The service was good with the i ly blemish was the time it itool to get a draft beer not the servers fault but maybe because the bar was busy I want to compliment the resturant for how they did the bill and mandatory gratuity. The bills had a stamp on it saying the gratuity was included i thought that was a nice touch. We ate on the patio and it was lovely. Overall i want to come back and try a few more dishes

A group of 7 of us went to Bricktop's on a Monday night. We made reservations and were seated when we arrived. This was my first time visiting this establishment. Our service was very slow and had to go find our waitress a couple of times. I ordered the Palm Beach Salad which is crab, shrimp, dice tomato and Avocado stacked next to mixed lettuce. It came out looking beautiful. The taste didn't measure up. There was so much avocado it overpowered all the other ingredients. The salad wasn't worth the $26 price in my opinion. Fresh warm bread rolls were delivered to the table. I don't think I will be back.

I'd never been here before but it was a suggestion as a place for us three old friends to meet for dinner. The place was fairly busy for an early-ish dinner but we were seated quickly. Our waitress was patient with us, as we were more involved in conversation than in deciding what we wanted to eat. We did finally order and our food arrived quickly. We got fried Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and our entrees were a steak, a chicken dish, and a burger with fries -- a fair cross-section of items. We didn't get drinks but got the strawberry shortcake as dessert. All in all, the meal was just average, nothing outstanding, nothing really bad. Our waters were kept filled, the waitress checked on us periodically but one friend's leftovers were inadvertently dumped. (The waitress said the kitchen would remake it.) I paid for the appetizer and dessert plus my steak for a total of almost $80. I think for the cost, I could do better elsewhere. I won't return.

Fancy dancy place that would be great for a date night. A bit on the pricey side. Server was super friendly and gave recommendations. You could tell they also loved the food. Steak was perfectly done to our order, so much flavor. Potato was decadent but the skin needed some more salt. Server recommended the verte sauce and it did not disappoint. The gin and tonic was floral and balanced, would order again.

Very nice place. The sushi is amazing. I would recommend going to this place. The service was also very good. They start the meal with amazing buttered rolls. They have shoe string fries that I was obsessed with.

I didn't take any pictures but the presentation was very nice. All of our meals looked and tasted great. The cocktails were just ok but this place was hoping. Very busy for a week night so they must be doing something right. I've eaten here several times over the years and my meals have always been tasty. Service was good but not great. I would definitely recommend this establishment for lunch or dinner. If you are a cocktail aficionado you might want to go somewhere else for drinks.

We were greeted courteously upon entering. Food was excellent as was the service. I had the Prime Rib which is tender and delicious. Rest of our party enjoyed their food. Our server was excellent and checked on us, during our meal. One exception: The- young lady, hostess who showed us to our table never smiled, nor spoke and seemed very aloof. Never mentioned that our server will be with us shortly. Just placed our menus on our table and walked away. That's the impression I got, and it wasn't good. Seemed as if she was being bothered.

Decided to try this place before shopping at the Frontenac mall and it was lovely. Truly enjoyed our food and ambiance we came back a few days later for dinner. Service was top notch.

I have never been to this restaurant and was wowed by the dining experience! There is a very exciting energy throughout the restaurant. I love the spaciousness and the way it is designed. The ambiance was very inviting and romantic or for a party of friends. I was introduced to the most delicious deviled eggs I have ever tasted along with hickory smoked and maple honey (millionaire) bacon!! The grilled halibut and sauteed spinach was very delicious. The halibut just melted in my mouth with a lot of flavors, there was bearnaise sauce on the side, which added the extra touch. The service was impeccable! Our water was continuously refilled. The wait staff made you feel like coming home for a delicious meal you did not cook. I cannot wait to share this restaurant with my friends and family.

My go-to takeout, meet up & happy hour spot. Ambiance inside includes spacious dining sections, dimly lit booths & tables as well as a bar area. Service is usually prompt & friendly. I enjoy the grilled artichoke, calamari. fresh oysters, trout or grilled salmon. Rarely do I deviate from these items because they are all pretty unbeatable. Located at the Clayton entrance on Plaza Frontenac. There's outside seating during pleasant weather months & cozy options in the brutal cold. Plenty of parking on the open lot. Curbside is a hit but highly suggest checking your order before pulling away. ~Christy

On the way back from Clayton we wanted to stop a the mall in Frontenac for lunch and decided on BrickTop's and boy what a great choice. We felt a little underdressed (shorts & t-shirt) but not out of place, next time maybe a polo shirt. The burgers were delicious. We both had the Tavern burgers and fries. I had a bowl of lobster bisque and it was very good, nice size chunks of lobster and came with rolls and butter. Service was excellent and staff were very attentive. Restaurant was very clean, white table cloths and napkins. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back, many more menu items to try.

Delicious! We frequent here often but yesterday was top notch! The French dip is no doubt the best in STL. The poke bowl...just wow! So fresh and filling! Highly recommend. The bar area is fun, only a few TVs so if you are trying to watch a specific game, might not be the best option.

We've eaten here so many times and never had a bad experience. The atmosphere, service and food are truly top-notch. Definitely a must try in the area for an upscale but still casual dinner!

Wow! We will be going back to this place. There is a huge parking lot to park so no street parking here. The place is nice dim lighting through out. Food was Great! We had a crabcake, which was fresh and light. Caesar salad was good. My husband had the fillet with a loaded baked potato. Fillet was great. I had the Chicken Milanese with fettuccine was awesome. And we had to finish it off with the chocolate chip cookie, vanilla ice cream with caramel on top. Phenomenal. Our service was Great! The only reason I gave this place a four out of five is because there was some trash on the ground here and there, and because the place is a little louder.

I dare you to find me better steak and eggs! I've been coming here for a few years now and have had both breakfast and dinner. Let me be the first to say, neither disappoint! I usually sit at the bar when I go and am always greeted promptly. There's ample space, so you shouldn't have an issue getting a seat and still having room. Out of all the dishes I've had, the steak and eggs reign supreme. The steak is tender and juicy, the eggs are cooked perfectly and well seasoned and the English muffin is plain good. Bricktop's is always consistent with their food and service and it makes a difference that the staff is friendly, too. I think the food is great for the price point and overall, this is one of my favorite brunch spots!

Their service is very good. we couldn't have been happier with our server. He was very attentive and polite. However, the food left quite a bit to be desired. Nothing was subtle. Everything seemed like it came frozen. The salmon probably frozen not fresh. Fish tacos? Seemed like frozen fish sticks that were seasoned and cooked. This isn't to say that any of it is bad or offensive. It just isn't great. it's a pretty decent place to go grab a meal - but it isn't somewhere that I would go on a date again nor would I go out of my way to eat here. We got the deviled eggs, the salmon and the fish tacos. Everything was over seasoned and most likely frozen versus fresh. also I am pretty sure the salsa was pace salsa from the jar - it's not that hard to make fresh salsa guys.

My friend and I met here for a weeknight dinner recently. We were so impressed with the service. We sat at the bar. The late staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant was crowded, but they still made us feel completely welcomed and taken care of. The manager even stopped by our table to say hello and see how our meal was. This is a wonderful Restaurant for a casual dinner or something more upscale. They really did a fabulous job.

Went for a birthday celebration. The place was busy with homecoming and were prepared for it! We were seated close to our reservation time and quickly waited on. The appetizers of calamari and spinach dip were good. The Parmesan Halibut was fantastic. Only disadvantage of the Halibut was it didn't include a side. For the price, and the small side, I'm not sure it's worth an additional $8. Compared to other restaurants and the price points, an $8 side would be family style size. This wasn't. Our server wasn't over burdening us but was there every time we needed something. Parking is easy in the large lot. Reservations probably recommended. All in all - I'll go back! It was a great meal and pleasant experience.

I treated my cousin to brunch for her birthday. The wait wasn't long which was great. The setting was busy as usual on a Sunday. However, I was so upset with myself. I LOVE Bricktops malted waffle but decided to try the crab benedict. DISAPPOINTED is an understatement. The dish came out with what looked like a sprinkle of crab on top of my eggs. I usually LOVE their potatoes but they were just ok on this visit. I struggled to eat my meal. The crab was fishy. Not fresh at all. Honestly, the best part of my meal was the extra english muffin I mistakenly ordered. The texture and flavor were perfect with strawberry jam. If I go back I will stick to what I know. I hate I didn't take a pic. Oh one other thing I DID NOT LIKE is that there was a police officer posted at the front door. What's THAT ABOUT?!

Nice place, business casual attire. Service is overly good and very customer centric. The food is dynamite, make sure you try the deviled eggs and millionaire's bacon!
