The Best Breweries, Food, and Drink to Try on the BC Ale Trail | Eater
"A popular North Shore operation that began as a nanobrewery in 2012 and later moved into a larger location; visitors commonly sample a flight of beers or fill a growler and are often drawn in by the smell of food. An on-site kitchen was added that makes aromatic, highly praised veggie, chicken, and pork tacos that many say are not to be missed." - Vox Creative
I come here several times per week. The location is very nice and the place feels creative with good initial vibes. The beer is decent with a very nice selection, I have brought in over 100 customers over the years because the place does a good job of capturing North Shore theme and creatively integrating it into their experience.
1. The food is very inconsistent. I have the tacos once per week because I’m too lazy to cook some nights and this place is close by. The pork tacos are dry as chalk about 50% of the time. Every once in a while, they are delicious and juicy. I’ve never complained or sent them back because the staff consistently communicate that management has been informed of this and they aren’t interested in improving this. I wish they would just care, and then the patrons would be more interested in buying food here.
You’ve been warned.
2. The staff turnover is horrendous. I ran restaurants for 5 years when I was younger. The staff are a big part of an experience when you want to become a regular. The staff are defeated and will often shrug when I overhear other patrons communicate feedback. That’s not how you improve a business, listen to your staff!!
3. The dog friendly patio is often filthy. And why do they have four azaleas on their ‘dog friendly’ patio? These specific plants drop a lot of material and are among the single most toxic plant species to pets. How does this communicate dog friendly?
Overall I like this spot and hope that these small tweaks can be considered and I can come back to increase my review.

I would give 6 ⭐️! Love all the beer! Bikes and Prime Time are my favourite. Tropical Prime Time perfect for hot summer days. Atmosphere and food at Bridge Deck are both fabulous!!

Located in North Vancouver. I enjoyed a delicious flight and Pork Rinds (Chicharron). Great friendly staff, clean seating inside and a patio.

I went there for lunch with my work partner and we both quite enjoyed the place. Food was reasonably priced and very tasty. The beer is excellent, good enough in fact that my partner, who doesn't really like craft beer, bought a four pack! We both had the chicken tacos, pork tacos, and chicharrón. He had the Wünderbar Kolsch for a beverage. I highly recommend going for lunch if you're working in the area around Mountain hwy and Main
