Such a well maintained shopping mall. Specialty stores and high end merchandise. Great eateries and a Regal Cinema. You could spend all day here. Expect Christmas to be so busy that parking will be a challenge. But they do have a multilevel parade. Love PF Chang's, the Apple Store, and California Pizza Co..

Lovely shopping area with a great mix of stores and popular brands. It’s well organized, easy to walk around, and has beautiful holiday decorations. Plus, it’s just a short walk to Whole Foods.

Summary: Beautiful California-style outdoor mall with a theater and high-end stores like Brandy Melville, Chanel. Plenty of restaurants. Parking is a bit chaotic, but it does have a parking structure and lots.

Tons of places to eat, shop, and people watch! My husband and I always enjoy our visits here. The movie theater is very nice also, with very clean restrooms.

We love this shopping center and find it has everything we could need or want from a shopping day. Movies, Anthro, great food options, plants, gifts, jewelry, Apple and now Lego! It's the best!

Parking garage lacks adequate disabled parking, with only a few spots on the ground floor. On top of that, half the elevators were out, and the ones that were working were very small. Also, it is open air, which isn't great when it is raining. For the life of me, I don't understand the desire in Portland 'burbs to make all if these outdoor SoCal style malls.

I really like Bridgeport Village. It reminded me of outdoor southern California malls that I used to go to. I liked that they had free family friendly summer events. My son enjoyed the Saturday morning concerts. Afterwards, we would go to Salt & Straw or Happy Lemon. We also liked going to Crate & Barrel and Barnes & Noble. There are different dining options. We've been to Choza and CPK. I can't wait until Fogo de Chao opens. I like Peet's Coffee, but I wished there was a local coffee shop. There is also an AMC. Tender Loving Empire has great items that are made by various local and small businesses. When we went to the Apple Store during the holidays, it seemed pretty busy. This shopping center offers different experiences if you plan to shop, dine, walk around, or attend an event.

I wanted to update my review as they completed the renovations and have a way better center seating section which is pretty amazing. They used to have a lot in the area that seemed pretty impractical down to the way it was arranged. Now it is a lot more open with far more practical seating. There is heating and a fire pit. I am always down to check out a new ice cream location. Salt & Straw has a new location and they are open until 11pm, as is the great sitting area.

Finally having the opportunity to visit this mall I can safely say it does live up to the hype. It's a beautiful mall nestled in a great area in Tigard and is clean, safe and a fun mall for those with families and littles. Lots of open space and beautifully crafted play areas for kids it's a great choice to take the family to whether you're a resident or visiting. When we went in the middle of the week it wasn't crowded and still had a lot of shops to explore as well as a wide array of restaurants and eatery's along with a Regal (also a fav) within the mall as well. We went in the afternoon and stayed into the evening where the magic of lighting up the mall made for amazing family pictures while on vacation. The staff in the shops were friendly and service overall was great. We loved the added fireplaces and lots of places to sit and relax and enjoy a meal or engage in playtime with the kids. Will definitely be back again soon!

Good place to go for dinner and a movie. Pastini is our restaurant of choice so far.

Worst Santa ever. You might consider Grinch next time. Most rude. Mean and impatient Santa. Not worth $50 for photos with a bad Santa. Have never seen a bad Santa. But this mall hired the worst Santa.

Bridgeport mall is an upscale outdoor shopping center. There is a wide selection of different retailers including restaurants, movie theater, mattress stores, home goods, books and numerous clothing stores. During the summer you are able to enjoy outdoor seating and entertainment, however during the cold winter and rainy months there is no reprieve from the elements. In addition, it seems whenever we go to this shopping center there is always construction going on that we have to navigate around. Employees are always helpful. Parking is limited in the main area. If you don't mind a little walk there is a parking structure on the far side of the mall. Overall it is worth the trip to come out to shop, watch movies and grab a bite to eat (I recommend happy lemon tea and pastini Italian).

This is a great newly remodeled center, beautiful! Has a lot of different dining options, great to roam around and shop afterwards

Outdoor style shopping area with several restaurants and food kiosks sprinkled in plus areas to sit, a small area for children to play and a center courtyard where they have outdoor concerts and where a ginormous Christmas Tree stands during the Holiday season. In non-Covid times, it's a great place to meet for dinner and then a movie. ZGallery, the main reason I would come to Bridgeport, has gone out of business at this location. Same with Williams Sonoma. Bummer. Now my main draw is Crate and Barrel and The Container store, since I'm a total organization freak! There are a few women's clothing stores, some pricey like Eileen Fisher, Free People and Anthropology; and others like Francesca's that sell at a much lower price point. If you are here, it's worth taking a stroll though SAK's Off Fifth. While this is their discount store, clothing, jewelry and accessories are still expensive but there are "finds" in each department if you have the patience. PF Chang's, California Kitchen and McCormack & Schmitz are the larger restaurants that are always popular and offer takeout during Covid-19. There is large multi level parking garage back behind the theatre and smaller parking areas scattered around the various stores. Easy access to I-5 and close to 217.

I was excited to get my pet's photo with Santa. The quality of photo is so bad, my iphone could take a better photo.

I bought a pair of Birkenstock sandals and wore them for a month. They were just a little too small. I hesitantly brought the back in to size up. The staff was so kind! And made me feel so comfortable. They ordered me a new pair from another store. I love the style of sandal (tan with a gold buckle) I will wear them all the time. Thank you shoe mill for exceeding my expectations!!

Higher end retail stores and mid level restaurants. Free parking structure and a good variety of stores to choose from. Quieter, upper class area as well.

I love Bridgeport on a decent weather day. Since a person needs to walk between stores with no roof, I check the weather before I plan on going there. Some of my favorite restaurants are nearby also. .

I was treated horrible in the Apple Store by the manager as the employee didn't know what he was doing. Insisting that I have to buy storage after I told him I would get rid of the stuff like I always did and I wouldn't have any problems losing anything on my cell he wouldn't listen to me and kept saying the same thing over and over for two hours. 84 years old I have my own YouTube channel. I'm very horrified. much with it he treated me like I was a two year old trying to teach me that I was wrong, the manager came over as I asked her to. he had me upset and crying. as he made me feel like there was no hope for me unless I bought storage I even said I would buy a new phone if I won't have problems anymore and he told me I would have the same problems if I bought a new phone. She sat there and said she knew nothing about how to fix it it. I said I will ask one question will I lose everything if I only want my pictures taken off and she said no you won't.she was right and he was wrong. that I was disrespectful to him. I have never in my whole life been treated so horrible ever. I had to run out of there crying as they were treating me bad. he insisted I wasn't only going to lose my photos. I was gonna lose everything on my cell phone and he had me very scared. I ran to a store in the area and the girl there help me with my phone and my phone is perfect now he kept telling me I was gonna lose everything. they said I was talking loud yes I was talking loud I am hard of hearing and I kept telling them that they didn't pay one bit of attention. They just wanted to be nasty to me. Bye-bye Apple I will never ever go back to Apple again I'm going to get rid of it the manager was very nasty stern looking never even smiled when I came in the store. There is no friend friendly attitude whatsoever I retired from Sprint and we would be fired immediately if we had treated our customers even a tiny bit bad. what gods name is wrong with these companies? They don't train their employees at all obviously I knew more than he did and so did the girl in the store that helped me get everything back that he took off of my phone and let me go out the door like that with not putting nothing back and they escorted me out the door like I was a criminal, they made me feel sick. They got my blood pressure up where I almost have a stroke. Never will go back to Apple again as soon as I'm able to as I'm low income I will go to the other company shame shame shame shame shame on them shame on them , I was up all night upset at the way I was treated in that store. It was horrifying to me.

A nice set of stores and some good eats and reasonable parking make this a good place to come for 3-4 months of the year. For the other 8-9 months of the year go to Washington Square, less good eats but equally good selection of stores and why is Washington Square better? Who builds an outside shopping mall in a place that rains 9 months a year, what a stupid idea but they have managed to stay in business with a good selection of stores

Shopping center is great and super clean, which is awesome. But this new and "improved" play area is a huge let down. My kids are 2.5, so i understand they may not be of the right age group. But the other playground they got rid of was so much better. I'm so bummed.

I hate shopping. And I especially hate malls. But, if I must go shopping, and it must be to a mall, I want it to be a lovely outdoor mall with beautiful landscaping, adequate parking, and plenty of places to get some delicious food and/or beverages. Bridgeport Village fits the bill and then some! This is more of a high-end mall with lovely boutiques and some popular stores in the mix, a variety of restaurants and food stands, and a movie theater. I don't like shopping but I am a serious organization freak, so this place having The Container Store is an added bonus. They even have a little playground for the tots and some nice outdoor seating areas. They could use a few more directory maps, however, as those are few & far between.

Located just off of I-5 and with easy access to both Tualatin and Lake Oswego, this outdoor shopping center is ideally placed to be a scenic place to shop. They have many restaurants, a Barnes and Noble, a movie theater, and a number of clothing stores and other shops. The shopping center is just across the street from REI and a Whole Foods Market, so there are other places to check out a short walk or drive away. You can stop to watch a movie, get a bite to eat, and leave with a few new books and maybe a shirt or pair of shoes that you couldn't live without. Since it's outside it can be a little annoying going from shop to shop when the weather is bad, such as when it's cold or raining. However, the very worst downside is the parking. When it's busy, it's VERY busy, and very few parking spots are available outside of the 2nd or 3rd floors of the parking garage. But, if you don't mind the walk, Bridgeport Village is a great place to get a one stop shopping experience, any day of the week.

It is so nice to be able to walk around Bridgeport Village and enjoy so many pleasantries! Located in Tigard off of I-5 across from Lake Oswego, this outdoor shopping center makes you think you are in California rather than Oregon. There are plenty of places to stop and ponder and the center court area has covered, heated areas to contemplate or watch the children playing on the playground equipment. A reminder that you are in Oregon and not California will be the large umbrellas left in the parking areas for you to use while shopping in case the Oregon weather arrives with you.

Nice mall, we come here often just to stroll around. PF Chang's, California Pizza Kitchen, Shoe Mill, The Container Store, Barnes & Noble, and of course, the Apple Store, are some of our favorites. LasikPlus changed my life for the better. Great environment, clean, safe, friendly, children and dog friendly... what is not to love? Five Stars.

First of all, this isn't a "mall." This is what wCalifornian transplants call a "mall." An "outdoor mall" is virtually unheard of in the PNW. I feel like if this is considered a mall, then Portland itself has hundreds on every major street. Again, not a mall; not here at least. Bridgeport is an example of a culture clash; a pretentious, spendy, unoriginal slice of California trying to be Oregonian like most of Lake Oswego. Come for Koi Fusion and Barnes & Noble's, then leave. But just stay clear if you're a biker or skater - security guards won't let you ride on the very *expansive* definition of sidewalk here. Dogs shaking dander into your food, barking at people, or otherwise bugging you is ok though. What a joke.

Such a great place to shop and dine! I love their selection of stores and I especially love their selection of places to eat! Happy Lemon is a great stop for a quick snack and drink, or grab lunch at Joe's Burger. So many great choices, you can't go wrong!

Those of us who have lived in the area a long time know the score - we knew what was on this site before. Mostly nothing. From I-5, it appeared to be vacant land, and scruffy looking vacant land at that. Then, trucks, barricades, cranes, and construction trailers showed up. And, within a matter of time, Bridgeport Village was born. It's not a place I visit very often, being on the other side of town. However, it is really nicely put together. It's a "village" in that the streets meander through the stores, with parking here and there, not to mention a parking structure. Note that, being a village, it is not enclosed and shielded from the elements. It's also not a conventional shopping mall with anchor stores. There are no anchors like Macy's and Nordstrom. Most of the stores are boutique type stores for clothing, housewares, gifts, and jewelry, along with restaurants, including some of the more upmarket chains, and a multi-screen cinema complex. I don't believe Bridgeport Village took any (foot) traffic away from big Washington Square. Mostly, it seems to have augmented it and provided other choices. Not only that, the southerly and southwesterly growth of the metro area has proven that it can support it quite well. It's nice to visit Bridgeport Village. The center shows good taste, the stores feature good names, even though I primarily visit Barnes and Noble, and people are mannered, be it the employees or those who shop here. You've seen this concept before and these villages have been well received, be they in Pleasant Hill, CA (East Bay), The Woodlands, TX, Atlanta, GA or Bal Harbour/Sunny Isles, FL (Miami). I'm not going for the full 5 stars because of the limited slate of merchants, parking that can be constrained, and because it's not that big. If Bridgeport Village's stores aren't your cup of tea, there's a center across Bridgeport Road, to the south, with less expensive stores and less expensive food. Also, the Village Inn and the Trimet Park and Ride that have been on the opposite corner for decades remain.

I love this beautiful outdoor Shopping Centre. It has a lot of major shops as well as popular ones. They also now have the hard to find Brandy Melville which is our L.A area favorite. I haven't been to the movie theater here but it looks very enticing and unique, it's not a typical chain AMC type. I noticed it because we frequent the California Pizza Kitchen next door. One thing that needs improving is possibly parking and traffic flow. It's not too bad, there is a multi level parking garage yet somehow it can be a struggle on crowded days. All in all, this is a beautiful place to do some shopping and dining.

One of my favorite overpriced places to shop. It's a pleasant time always clean and peaceful. I feel relaxed when I'm there and the shop owners are always top notch. I love Charming Charlies and as far as outdoor malls go this is probably Portland's best. The various retailers make it convenient to shop for anything you may need or want. Restaurants other than Twigs are top notch. Always a pleasure to ship and dine

Very cute and aesthetic spot for shopping, eating, or for watching a movie. Away from the busyness of Portland, this is a good spot. Very nice place for a date or hangout w friends and family. Has many good places for shopping, such as urban outfitters, container store, and Sephora.

As I recall, when it first opened Bridgeport was billed as recreating the "small town main street shopping experience." After we went once, I agreed they had - they had a little trouble getting chickens/cattle to run across the street in front of the traffic, probably zoning issues, so they'd just replaced them with hapless pedestrians. Problem solved! Some "genius" decided to route the vehicle traffic through the middle of this stupid little "main street" mall, to teeny-tiny lots that never have enough space. There IS a parking garage but it's at one edge - the one furthest from the freeway - and most people mill around before finding it, or giving up and going to it if they know where it is (it's a LONG walk from many of the restaurants, Crate & Barrel, etc.). As a consequence there is a LOT of traffic (not only do they all drive in, they all drive out again when there's no space). And since, to get to many of the stores from the aforementioned parking garage at the end of nowhere, you have to walk across these "charming little streets" that have no bridged walkways, tada, instant games of pedestrian bowling. Driving through this place is designed to make you flinch. Walking through it is worse. If you MUST go here, head STRAIGHT for the parking garage (if you came from I-5, go all the way to Whole Foods and hang a right at that light, it's the only way to the garage without going through this torture chamber). You'll still be walking in front of traffic and fearing for your life after you park, but you'd be doing that anyway, and at least you won't have wasted time trying to find space in a lot - you're probably going to fail anyway. A lot of the stores and restaurants are generic chains. Pick them up at some other mall, or better yet, go to their competitors to indicate your irritation that they are in this ill-designed slop of a mall. (Seriously, the OUTLET MALLS I have been to are better designed for comfort and safety. Many STRIP MALLS are better designed for customer/pedestrian safety, if not comfort.) Alas, they do have an IMAX theater. Those are relatively rare in the Portland area. If you park in the parking garage and cross at the right point, you can get to it with only one or two street crossings, on relatively little-traveled streets, though. It's not quite as disastrously bad as needing to get into (say) Crate & Barrel which is in the far corner of the place from the parking garage. If you can give this mall a miss, do. If you can't, try the parking garage (and give the pedestrians a miss, if you drive through the lots - we all like living, even if going to this mall doesn't show it!). They do have valet parking (which I've never used), but please skip that (unless you have an Audi or Porsche, I guess, since according to their website you'd get free valet parking then...) - giving them money for setting up such a crappy lot just encourages this kind of idiocy.

Wow, this is one of those incredibly nice malls. They built in plenty of parking, but it still fills up. We got here around 2:30 on a Friday afternoon and we felt like we scored just getting a spot on the absolute outer edge of the lot. Packed, even at that hour. They have a bunch of custom architecture that, for a mall, is fairly cool. There's a huge pergola in the middle of one of the pedestrian concourses, and it's actually really pretty. There are tons of bistro tables under it, and rumor has it they roll out space heaters in the wintertime. There are multiple security guards on foot patrol all the time, and everything everywhere you look is sparkling clean. The things that a mall can do as a landlord are rather few in number, at least in terms of what the casual shopper might notice. But this place does them and does them well. The shops are mostly specialty, and mostly high-end. Lots of costly home decorations and the like. There's a Whole Foods, and there are a few of the more-palatable chain restaurants. There's a gimongous 18-screen movie theater. Odds are, even if your inclination is to support small local independent businesses, the work they've done here to sell you stuff will occasionally draw you here for something. And there's no shame in that. It's a very well-run establishment.

Frankly, this is the most disgusting excuse for shopping that I've ever witnessed. What a mistake. I convinced my partner that I wanted to check this place out under the deluded notion that it had something to offer. I dunno, something out of the mainstream. How did I ever think this was an outlet mall? This place represents everything America has become and it's not good. So not me. I promise from now on that I will seek out all things local and save this place as a last resort. Oh wait, I think I'd rather just do without. The stores are expensive, pretentious, ridiculous money-makers with sweatshop merchandise and I wanted to vomit. Of course there are people who see it differently. Mostly young people who don't really care where their money comes from. You know the type. Plastigirls with ironed, highlighted blond hair who walk around with their Gucci bags, expensive Italian pumps, and tight jeans. Yeah.

I have to say this is a beautiful little outdoor mall. There is covered parking in the Garage,(2 story,I think maybe3). We were on the first floor. Lots of choices for food. We ended up choosing a little Kiosk type place, if you can call it that. It was very good with lovely outdoor seating. Since the weather was so grand in Oregon it was a pleasure to walk around in the outdoors. They had lovely huge baskets of flowers hanging everywhere, as well as statues and plants. Very peaceful and charming. many shops to choose from as well. I love taking advantage of the no sales tax. Tigard is a nice little stop on your adventure, and I would visit this Outdoor mall again.

I worked at Bridgeport for 5 months and I loved it! If you don't mind high end shopping that is fo' sho' suburban-aimed. There is a variety of food choices and they have an awesome movie theater. Paradise Bakery & Cafe -- is delish -- the perfect soup, sandwich, salad place. Tutto Bene has out of this world gelato. Pastini has really low priced pasta dishes that are still delish. Blue Tangerine is a Mediterranean restaurant that has the best hummus I've ever eaten. As for shopping if you have the moolah it has a great selection: Nau, Banana Republic, BCBG, Urban Outfitters, American Apparel & Coach. The movie theater also has a 3-D screen.

It's a bit small for a mall and the selection is limited but they have most everything you could need. Froyo shop (with another across the street), some decent food, movie theatre, apple store. The place we go most now it the new Barnes & Nobles. It's huge and they have a great toy section for kids. There is a small playground for the kids and a covered area for eating outdoors with heaters. They have umbrellas placed strategically around for when it rains. The parking can kind of suck sometimes..... especially if you don't go to the parking structure.

Great place for date night with the movie theatre and several restaurants. The restaurants here are super mainstream. Wish they would get something a little different, like not a chain. There are a ton of shops here but they are the more upscale stores. I come here for the movie theatre, the book store, and the sushi place(which is the best place to eat while here) Sometimes I need to go to other places like Anthropologie of Sur La Table. This place is always pretty busy even in the middle of the day. A lot of times I have to park in the garage on the 3rd or 4th level.

Just for the food outdoor mall over here is completely insane and stuod with they had actual goodnsessserts over here

Great outdoor mall, lots of great places to eat. Awesome movie theatre 3d IMAX etc... Shopping Is fairly mid range, we enjoy the outdoor feel, playground, icecream Parking is hit and miss, other than that it's pretty awesome

This is a nice shopping area without any big department store anchor. There are some nice shops but most of the local shops have left leaving the place to the big chain stores. It is supposed to feel like you are shopping in a town. That isn't necessarily a plus in my book. In Oregon If i'm going to shop at mall stores I would usually rather have a roof to keep dry. That said it is working. Probably because there are no other good malls in the area. Also it does have a few chains that have this for they're only Portland area store, Crate and Barrel, California Pizza, The container store and the Saks version of the Nordstrom Rack come to mind. I do come here some as the location is convenient for family meet ups. Note: Parking here is awful I usually have to drive to the back to park meaning both ways crossing the mall and its pedestrians...who thought of that? Tip: try and do your shopping when the weather is nice.

Great shopping center. Love that it's always clean and well taken care of. They have an outdoor play area for kids, which I love. Few of my favorite places to shop: Urban Outfitters, MAC and Anthropology. Sinju is a great place for sushi and drinks!

Hey guys, I have a brilliant idea! You know how all these big chain stores are putting all the locally-owned mom-and-pop stores out of business? And how the old downtown areas of these cities are all drying up and dying off? Let's make a mall that feels like a traditional downtown area. We'll put fakey storefronts and fakey streets running through fakey little 'downtown blocks.' Throw in some street lights, and it will feel just like an authentic downtown area! The best part? It's all the same chain stores that are in the mall selling the same shit they sell at every location all over the country! They sell the same shit, for the same or higher prices, but people feel like they are having a unique experience! Am I brilliant or what? Wait, what? That's already been done? It's called what, Bridgeport Village? Damn. 2 Stars for the movie theater.

Bridgeport Village is one shopping area that you may like or hate. For many of the Portlanders, this location may not be suited for them - the place can be a bit more mainstream. With that said, for people who grew up with these high end stores, may like this area. Jill, Cole Haan, Sur la Table, Tommy Bahamas, Origins, Coldwater Creek, Sunglass Hut, Saks 5th Avenue OFF 5th, White House Black Market (just to name the chain-y places) Where to eat: Yogurtland, P.F. Changs (gross), McCormick & Schmick's (gross), California Pizza Kitchen, Koi Fusion, Romano's Macaroni Grill, Peet's Coffee & Tea, Pastini Pastaria, Joe's Burgers, Mrs. Fields/TCBY, Sweet Factory, Wetzel's Pretzels, Sweetest Things Cupcakes and Bridge City Cafe They also have Regal Cinemas (18 theaters and IMAX) here too. The area some-what reminds me of a smaller version of the Towne Square shopping area in Las Vegas, but not enough stores. It also reminds me of Clackamas Towne Center (just a bit, but not really). I'm just here to visit Yogurtland 90% of the time. I do want to try Joe's Burgers and Koi Fusion since I've heard raves about it. But some other time. Other than that I'm just window shopping at all the other places.

The J.Crew store does not have men's line. Banana Republic is just bananas. Blander than bland. Urban Outfitters have the funkier items but come on! I've never seen an overload on plaids. TONS of western shirts. And a good looking shirt that I thought was flannel. Sadly they are not. They offer umbrellas if its rainy like tonight. But the place is literally a ghost town and most of the stores close early. The restaurants are pretty decent. Parking is not that difficult to find once you know what time of the day to go. *** It is already a given that the location is pretty nice and expensive SO DO NOT EXPECT BIG BARGAINS AND OLD NAVY CRAP here. Do us all a favor and go somewhere else. Go to K-MART for crying out loud.

It doesn't get any better, really. Bridgeport Village is a beautiful outdoor shopping center with the right mix of shopping, entertainment, and dining. The Regal 18 screen IMAX theater is wonderful, clean and has great surround sound. There are plenty of great stores at Bridgeport from Apple, Tommy Bahamas, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters to Saks Off Fifth, Crate & Barrel, Barnes & Noble to the Container Store and so many more. It's the perfect property for getting away and relaxing with its park-like amenities. Bridgeport is my personal favorite in the Portland area.

Dreadfully boring mall unless you're a Stepford wife. The anchor store is Crate and Barrel? Good god. Pudding on the Rice is closed. Boo, no rice pudding. They killed off the men's section at J Crew. Sad state of affairs. The only saving grace is the nice cinema.

Think place to give Mom some time to herself while entertaining the kids. Bridgeport is a great place to spend a few hours with the family to give mom some time to do a bit of shopping on her own with the little ones pulling at her pant leg. There is a full size play structure in the middle of the village which the kids love. The ice cream shops, kids book section in Borders, REI / Jamba Juice across the street and family friendly restaurants also provide great places to pass a bit of time. I recommend making a visit to give mom that break she deserves.

There's something stupid about shopping here. I swear some people with too much money have been duped into believing this is as good as it gets. Albeit there's some fun stuff here like REI, Whole Foods and the newer Regal cinema. Other than that, the whole thing is a giant contradiction. Let's see it's an outdoor mall in the style of California, except that it's in a place where it rains endlessly. All the stores are meant to appear as if they're local amazing store fronts, which is really just a scam for the same old chain stores that are everywhere else. The most baffling thing is you've got people that will spend over a thousand dollars on a shirt, I'm not kidding, and then go eat at Romano's Macaroni Grill because they think that's what they're supposed to do. It creates this permeating sense of sheeple people, and it's pretty disgusting. Ultimately it's the restaurants shoved into these lego block formats that drive me away from the place. On the chain! Chain! Chain! McCormicks, California Pizza, Agave (really crappy mexican food), Romano's... the list goes on... and on... you won't find anything here. The only thing you might be able to suckle off is across the highway you'll find other chains like Famous Daves; famous for crappy BBQ. Chipotle is probably the best thing you can eat around the whole area. As Kris said, this place is for the Stepford wives. If you're in the mood for a chain restaurant, spending too much money on clothes from Indonesia and checking out a movie, this is your spot.

Yuck I am annoyed by Bridgeport Village. It's like they're trying to be The Grove in LA, and sorry, but they fail. The parking is the number one problem with this place. It's SO bad. It doesn't seem to matter if it's a Saturday afternoon or a Wednesday night - it's ALWAYS insanely crowded and cramped. The store selection is ok and if the weather is nice it can be fun to walk around, but I think that this place was so poorly laid out that it's annoying to have to deal with that nonsense. Plus, The Grove is laid out in basically one long street, with shops on both sides. Bridgeport Village is like some consumer rat maze with no cheese to be found! It's really easy to get lost. Obviously no sales tax is great, but you can find that anywhere in Oregon.

This is the shopping center that has the closest Peet's Coffee to the in-laws. It reminds me of the Broadway Plaza in WC and we typically have visited this center during the winter when it is packed crowded and hard to find parking. If you can avoid the parking garage, you are ahead of the game and we enjoyed seeing what shops have left and which shops have come in. Sadly we discovered the jewelry store where my husband's wedding ring came from is no longer here, so no free polishing for his ring was to be had, but they do have some great stores and a giant movie theatre. I look forward to returning at Christmas to really shop tax free!

I originally went to Bridgeport Village because it had the only Crate & Barrel nearby. When I got there I immediately thought I had been transported back to Los Angeles! Bridgeport Village is this large outdoor upscale shopping center. It is fantastic! I have only lived in Portland for a short time but have already been to Bridgeport Village many......many times! I had no idea that the Crate & Barrel would be just one of the many fantastic stores in this giant outdoor shopping center. How awesome. They have every store you could imagine at Bridgeport Village: Sur La Table, The Container Store, Relax Your Back, Design Within Reach, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Z Gallerie, and tons of other places. Most of the stores are upscale, which was great...I enjoyed having several different stores in one location to check out for home decorating type items. There is even a giant Whole Foods across the street, woo hoo. Oh, and they have an IMAX theatre also. Awesome place to shop! Although parking can be hectic, I have found a spot pretty much right away every time I have been there.

Talk about having a love/hate relationship - this is exactly how I would describe my feelings about Bridgeport Village. My husband and I have chosen to be child-free, and we're reminded why every time we visit Bridgeport Village. Prepare to see loads of SUV strollers and over-indulged spawn everywhere you look. Bring earplugs/iPods if you're annoyed by shrieking and crying. Overall, BV is a pretty good place to hang out on a hot summer night if you can past the artificialness of it all. Grab a gelato at Tutto Bene, park yourself on a bench, and watch the human parade. If you've got a wad o' cash, pop into Anthropologie or lucy and stock up on some cute outfits. Restaurants are mostly the same old boring chains, but Blue Tangerine (mediterranean) offers some tasty cuisine for a moderate price. Probably the worst thing about BV (other than the hordes of children, which I realize is not a turnoff to all) is the parking. If you go there on a weekend, prepare to park in the structure and don't be surprised if you make it all the way up to the top of the structure and you still can't find a place. This has happened to me twice, so if you aren't totally disgusted you may need to park off site and walk. But hey, we could all use more exercise right?

Yes, it reminds me of the malls in LA...Why exactly is this a good thing? Crate and Barrel comes in handy frome time to time to find gifts for people who register there for their weddings...(p.s. I can't stand people who live in Oregon and only register for Tiffany's, Williams Sonoma, and Crate and Barel) and when I feel like paying 30 bucks for an I-max film, this is where I go.... Oh, and Sinju has a kick-butt happy hour, and the tower app is not to be missed.... And I like to wander into Zee Gallery... But that is where my love for this mall ends.... Most of the cute and individual high end boutiques have been closed, and there are plenty of store fronts to be leased....the remaining stores are big box, ho hum, and cookie cutter *yawn* Why in the world would Oregonians let Californian architects design a mall for Oregonians? And I think the same guys designed Tanasbourne, but that's a Yelp of a different color.! Here is why this place really blows: the sidewalks are flanked by planters and umbrella stands on one side, and trees on the other. The result: it is impossible to walk side by side with a loved one, hand in hand.... So, who would this be a great place for? Anorexic teenagers and single people, I'm afraid!
