It's a nice place, trendy and can get crowded. Great selection of alcohol selection. The service was great, our server was fantastic and he explained everything. The food, which is not the servers fault nor the bartenders fault was meh. My double smash burger was over done & dry. The pulled pork came in two sandwiches, why not make a nice big one? The wedge salad could of used a Lil more dressing. The salmon dish was good and the portion was great. Alcohol was great! The 4 🍤 shrimp were great also. Had reservations and got right in. It was a nice place I just feel that for the 210 Dollars we spent, I won't be back to eat. Grab a drink? Definitely! Sorry, just being honest.

On August 11, 2024, I and a guest visited Bridges and Bourbon, located at 930 Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh. The restaurant is a stylish and modern spot that impresses from the moment you walk in. The ambiance is warm, with contemporary décor that mixes sleek lines and comfortable seating, perfect for a casual evening out or a special occasion. The bar area is a standout, with an extensive selection of spirits beautifully displayed, creating an inviting atmosphere for anyone who enjoys a well-crafted drink. I had the pleasure of enjoying their charcuterie board and a fruit platter. The bread on the charcuterie board was "just okay", and the variety of cheeses and meats complemented each other well. However, the fruit platter left something to be desired. The grapes were bruised and had the appearance of being slightly past their prime, which was disappointing given the overall quality of the establishment. A better display of fresh fruit would significantly enhance the dining experience. What sets Bridges and Bourbon apart is its outdoor seating. The sidewalk patio area provides a great view of downtown Pittsburgh, making it an excellent spot to relax and people-watch. The private outdoor pods are a nice touch, offering a more intimate dining experience even in the middle of the city. However, be aware that seating inside these pods requires a food purchase of $200.00 or more, which might not be suitable for every guest. Service was attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The only reason I’m holding back a full five stars is that the menu is somewhat limited, and while what they offer is excellent, the less-than-stellar fruit platter and a bit more variety could make this place even better. Overall, Bridges and Bourbon is a great choice if you’re looking for a classy yet relaxed spot in Pittsburgh. Whether you’re there for the drinks, the food, or the ambiance, you’re likely to leave satisfied, though I hope they improve the quality of their fruit selection and perhaps reconsider the high spending requirement for the outdoor pods.

This place served the best burger I've ever had—juicy and absolutely delicious! The drinks were adorable and beautifully presented. The overall vibe was a bit noisy and crowded, but it's a great location and definitely worth a visit. 🥂

I recently stopped in the B&B on a whim while visiting some family from its town. We were on the block to visit a different bar on the corner; after our group didn't receive any service for a few minutes, someone in our group mentioned that they saw a cool-looking bar down the street, so we decided to pivot and check out the other options. We were promptly seated by the attentive host on their patio and greeted by our server, Julieanna. We realized it was happy hour, and we all ordered some reasonably priced drinks off that menu that we were all happy with. But Julianna was the real star of the experience - grarnering the praise of our group with the “your just don't get service like this anymore with the over-tipping culture”. She was friendly, attentive, and informative. We ended up staying there for a couple of rounds, and then we saw this cauldron going to another table on the patio and decided we needed to try one of those, too. It was fantastic, and the presentation was world-class. The next day, we were at a family event, and I don't think we recommended Bridges & Bourbon less than 50 times between all of us. The drinks were spectacular, the service was incredible, and the vibes were immaculate. I will stop in any time I'm in Pittsburgh and hopefully the tons of people we sang your praises to will as well.

If you like bourbon, then this place will satisfy your needs. Great standard bourbons, rare bourbons, and house created cocktail bourbons to choose from. Very helpful staff and excellent food. This will not be an inexpensive bill, but if you want to treat yourself or others, this is the place to go.

A favorite cocktail bar of mine in Pittsburgh. The staff is friendly and the drinks have some of the best presentation I’ve ever seen.. from smoke to Zen garden to color changing with dry ice, I love to take my friends and any visitors here.

I was picky, and they accommodated without fail. The food was delicious and the staff was on point. The drinks selections are unique and full of flavor.

Fantastic food and service. A bit loud for atmosphere but that’s personal preference. You’ll be amazed at how they display your cocktails.
