Dr. Lingad and her staff are amazing! I felt like I got VIP treatment for my routine eye check up. They were very accommodating and answered all of my questions even though I asked so many lol! This will definitely be where I will be going for all my eye check ups from now on. Also the space is so clean and well kept. Top notch!

Bridges Eye Care is not exactly in my neighborhood, but I keep coming here due to the high quality of care. Dr Lingad has great attention to detail, has patience and is caring. Zoe and the rest of the staff are always welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is calm, clean and bright. I always know what I’m paying for and feel taken care of.

Exceptional customer service and attention to detail. I've had eye examinations at different places before, and I always felt rushed; as if all they wanted was to get me in and out quickly and sell me the most expensive pair of frames they could. My experience at Bridges was the complete opposite. The staff were courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and took their time to examine me thoroughly and help me choose frames that I liked. I was recently laid off and had a change of insurance. I'm so thankful that Bridges accepted HealthFirst's plan because I was due for my annual check-up and this was my best eye exam overall in years. Dr. (Wilzen) Lingad is a combination of qualities you don't usually get in New York: professional, thorough, friendly, and well-rounded. She showed me pictures of my eyes, told me how to reduce redness due to allergies/irritants, gave me a slightly new prescription to help reduce nausea when I take my glasses on, and (since I'm near-sighted and don't wear glasses full-time), and tested my peripheral vision. Besides her great bedside manner, she was just a joy to speak to. She asked me about my work, told me a little bit about her family, and explained the origin of her first name to me when I told her how unique it was. And I was just a first-time patient! The whole office is efficient and friendly, including the staff working during my visit. Shout-out to Zoe who confirmed my appointment and got me started at my appointment, and to the monsieur who helped me at the end. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name, but he has a French accent that melts butter. My exam was free, as well as a pair of backup glasses. The selection of frames wasn't the most stylish, but again, they're free, and due to my insurance, that's not the doctor's choice. I'm just glad she accepts HealthFirst because I'm returning, and recommending her to all my friends. I live in the neighborhood, but I'd travel MUCH farther for her. Believe the reviews!

The Dr sounds like a great Dr. however due to receptionist my son didn't have a chance to even see the Dr. The receptionist was very rude to my son coming in for his appointment today. We verified the day before his appointment that Dr. Lingad is in network, everything's covered at 100%, I called myself to make sure, but because it's not a major insurance she recognized, she didn't want to take the time before his apt to just call the phone # on the back of his card to talk with someone and verify it . She cancelled his appointment while he was there for his appointment after he walked there, and told him to 'figure it out'. This provider needs to remind this receptionist that they are loosing business because of her being lazy, not doing her job and her attitude. What happened to customer service? I found another place that did verify his insurance he's now scheduled there.

Second time doing my annual eye exam here and I can't believe it was even better than the first time. I love Dr. Lingad! She is incredibly caring, skilled, and knowledgeable. The staff was also friendly and patient in helping me schedule my appointment and pick out frames. I felt a bit pressured to upgrade my glasses/protective features, but when I said no, they respected my decision. Left feeling really satisfied and taken care of!

I had a fantastic experience with my optometrist, Dr. Lingad. She was incredibly helpful and took the time to explain everything clearly during my appointment. I've been to a lot of optometrists (lifetime of glasses and then lasik/prk) and can say confidently that she was the most clear about my insurance benefits, treatment options, and prognosis.

I think I found my favorite optometrist! Dr. Lingad is seriously such a star in her craft - on top of being a really personable, intelligent, and attentive doctor. Once I absolutely like someone as a health provider (especially in NYC), I will go crazy and start spreading the word in my network. And I hope you get to give this practice a try because I am so glad I did! I get it - seeing an optometrist once a year isn't the most fun thing. But there is value in making sure that your health is in tip top shape! I came here for my annual as a new patient because well, I had a not so great experience at L Eye C Optics (another practice in the neighborhood). I got my glasses prescribed there and wearing them hasn't been comfortable since day one. I knew something was off but L Eye C Optics was insistent that they were fine. Until I came and saw Dr.Lingad, who validated that the glasses prescription from L Eye C was indeed not the right fit for me. I felt a lot of relief and wished that I saw Dr. Lingad first so I didn't need to waste time and money at the other place. Lastly, I want to specifically call out Dr. Lingad's passion and attention-to-detail for her business. Look, owning a business is no piece of cake, especially in NYC and as a woman. I am a passionate person myself so I really love seeing that in someone else as well. She was very attentive during my process of picking out frames. She didn't just gesture me off to go figure it out with her assistant, etc. That was very kind of her because often times than not, doctors will not allocate that extra appt time with you. So I'm really grateful for that extra attention. Highly recommend this practice!!!

I absolutely love this place. Dr. Lingad is really sweet, thorough and lovely to work with. Her staff is also very helpful and polite. This is how every business should operate. They have a great selection of frames to choose from, it's very clean, they sanitize everything before they use it, and they have tests I've never had from any other eye doctor. You may think this is a sponsored review because I speak so highly of a eye doctor of all things ti review, but I promise you I'm not endorsed or encouraged to write this review by any means. This is my second time coming here, because it's the closest eye doctor to my house but honestly even when I move I'll be coming back here. I highly recommend this place and am confident that you'll love it as much as I do.

Found this beautiful gem close to work! Making appointments is easy and very convenient through their online website! Dr. Lingad was very nice and friendly! From appointment making to when I left, she was accommodating and super helpful!

I came here a few days ago for an eye exam and for my contact lens supply. Booking the appointment online was convenient and easy. My entire visit was quick, efficient, comfortable and thorough. Dr. Lingad is such a sweetheart! She's friendly and very accommodating. I am so glad she opened a practice in LIC!

Amazing experience today with my contact lens fitting--like what everyone else has already said, Dr. Lingad is so thoughtful and thorough with your exam. But what I appreciated most is that she's cost-conscious on your behalf. When making lens recommendations, she helped calculate out the cost difference between your different options. She printed out my vision plan benefits and helps explain exactly where I'm covered, and how to maximize the benefits to get the most out of my plan. So excited I got to leave with samples to try at home without being rushed to buy while I was there. Thank you for the help today!

Great service & very helpful. I got an eye exam, new contact Rx & new glasses to replace a pair that never really worked out for me (heavy & impractical). They helped me figure out the best way to charge me, to maximize my insurance benefits. I'm recommending this place to everyone that asks.

I went in for reading glasses. The Optometrist was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She went above and beyond for me in all aspects. I have crappy insurance and she put a lot of effort, time and took a loss getting my glasses for me. I wouldn't have had the same experience elsewhere. I've lived in NY for 51 years and never experienced generosity like Bridges Eyecare before. In fact, I had to go away before my glasses were ready and she shipped them to me. I would recommend her to all my friends and family.
