Keanu Reeves Enjoyed an Alameda Ice Cream Cone | Eater SF

"I saw reports that Keanu Reeves was spotted at an Alameda Baskin-Robbins (based on photos, likely the one in the Bridgeside Shopping Center) enjoying a “double scoop ice cream cone”; Baskin-Robbins staff told ABC7 that his flavor of choice was Pralines ’N Cream, which carries the tagline “Taste some South in your mouth!”" - Eve Batey

Good collection of stores, nice walking path next to the water. There's a grocery, a ups store, a gas station, a car wash, a carbon health, a sushi place and a bunch of other restaurants, not to mention that walkway and lots of free parking. It's a little area where you can show up and get all your work done in quick succession

Nice little shopping center includes Nob Hill super market, Starbucks, Peet’s Coffee, and etc. what I enjoyed the most is the outdoor seating area by the Starbucks. It’s peaceful and secluded. Also, I enjoyed the bank by the estuary with some unique boats docking in. Watching the traffic over the Fruitvale Bridge is another one. Occasionally, there’re competitive rowing boaters under training. It always reminding me the scenes from Thames River in 🇬🇧 U.K. Did I mention there’s also a pet store?!

I mean there's a giant ship sinking right there. That's just sad. There's a nob Hill market which has you know. Pretty high prices so if you like that go there. There's also a UPS store so if you like brown come on down.

I recommend this shopping center. Good one stop shop. Nob Hill grocery store, pet store, Cheese Steak shop (great chicken and steak sandwiches), UPS, Ice cream, Phone stores, Gas station and more. Parking is good. EV charging on side of building.

Yelp
This somewhat small shopping center located right next to the Fruitvale Bridge!! Nob Hill Foods is the biggest store here. There's also a gas station here along with a UPS store, Hawaiian BBQ, Wing Stop, Baskin and Robbins and a pet food shop. The parking lot is usually pretty crowded, and there's a nice trail that runs along the public shore with great views of the bridge.

Yelp
The Bridgeside Shopping Center is located next to the Fruitvale Bridge and alongside the estuary. This property is managed by DJM Capital of San Jose. I've been shopping at this location for very long time. How long is that? I shopped here when the anchor stores were RiteAid and Alpha Beta. Sometime in the early 2000's, they did a major facelift and created today's Bridgeside Shopping Center. The anchor is a Nobhill Foods. What's an anchor store? An anchor store attracts customers to the shopping center. Personally, I don't shop at Nobhill. I come here to go to Baskin-Robbins, The Cheese Steak Shop, WingStop or Ohana Hawaiian BBQ. The shopping center has a nice mix of small restaurants and plenty of free parking. https://www.bridgesideshoppingcenter.com/ There's also a nice walk along the estuary behind the stores. Welcome to Alameda, The Island City.

Yelp
Good shopping center offering Starbucks, Nob Hill and various other fast food type eating spots. A good shopping center. And sometimes good is all you want. No frills nothing fancy about it. Given that its on the little moat between Oakland and Alameda its technically waterfront and its too bad not more of the spots make the best use of that little bit of water. The coffee spot inside Nob Hill overlooks the little swampy river here. I don't know what the technical name for it is but I think efforts have been made to clean it up. From the big windows in the coffee shop its something to look at along with the little bridge. I sometimes get gas at Aisle One. Its so unpopular that there is never a wait and I like that. That gas station has a Starbucks next door that is around the corner and not immediately in view as you enter the shopping center.

Yelp
Convenient shopping center just over the Fruitvale bridge in Alameda. Plenty of parking. Beautiful view of the Estuary and the to Alameda draw Bridges. All sorts of options including a nice grocery store. One of my favorite things here is the Promenade along the Oakland estuary. On a nice day stop by and pick something up to eat outdoors.

Yelp
Bridgeside Shopping Center is on the right just past the Fruitvale Bridge as one enters alameda. physically, it's always been small. Bridgeside hasn't change over the years, just the tenants tenants chains eateries services -taco bell sushi king att -subway BB Bowl career center -round table (korean) armed services -starbuck ups -nob hill foods cosmos prof -wing stop dentist -baskin robbins -pet food express shopping notes: -in hindsight, glad the strip doesn't have a waterfront theme. past ventures in oakland & alameda haven't been successful. alameda city leaders clairvoyant in keeping center simplistic, available for all to utilize. -only shopping and eating (not so much) interests me here.

Yelp
The Bridgeside Shopping Center is located right off the Fruitvale Bridge. It is nice smaller shopping center that borders the Estuary that is anchored by Nob Hill Foods and eateries such as Starbuck's, Wing Stop, Taco Bell, Subway, Baskin Robbins, and Sushi King. There's an AT&T store, a Pet Food Express and a Nob Hill gas station as well. It's not a South Shore Center, rather it's a smaller niche mall and serves its purpose especially if you patronize the stores there.

Yelp
My neighborhood shopping center isn't huge but have a nice grassy area facing the estuary with benches where you can lounge with coffee, ice cream or hang with your dog. The shopping center is anchored by Nob Hill Foods with several coffee places, restaurants and other businesses.

Yelp
My family frequents this shopping center for gas, groceries, pet supplies, and now Korean fast food. My beef: the shopping center owner/developer, with the City of Alameda's consent, really blew an incredible opportunity to create a more unique waterfront oriented retail center. Instead, what we are left with for the next 3+ decades is a ho-hum suburban strip mall where ALL of the retail establishments turn their back on the estuary. True, it is an estuary and does not offer expansive bay or SF views. But the estuary has been cleaned up and Alameda - Oakland continue their restoration efforts. Today, dragonboat, outrigger and crew teams regularly practice along the estuary. Such a shame......

Yelp
This is a very nice shopping center with Nob Hill Foods as the primary tenets of the center. Has a few stores and restaurants. Also has a gas station that is run by Nob Hill Foods.
