Great location beside the river. Service friendly and professional. We had the 5 course degustation menu, every course was delicious, our favourite was the spanner crab soufle, delicious. If I had to find a fault, it would be that there were some inconsistencies in some of the dishes, ie presentation and serving sizes were slightly different between plates, but did not impact our experience. Highly recommend 🌟

Wow!!!! This venue is amazing. My husband and I came to visit family in Townsville from Sydney. The locals recommended this restaurant to us and we were certainly not disappointed. The cuisine was exceptional, the location was fantastic and the service staff were amazing. Thoroughly recommend this venue! 10 out of 10!.

We had the opportunity of attending a birthday dinner at this establishment. From start to finish it was Win Win all the way. Excellent food, great atmosphere and very attentive staff with prices that will not empty your bank account.

I don’t have a bad thing to say about our experience at Bridgewater, the food, the venue and the service was 5 star! We had a large booking of 22 and privately hired the Botaniq Bar area before heading upstairs to the Bridgewater Restaurant for dinner. The food was presented beautifully and tasted as good as it looked with generous portions. Special mention goes to the Pumpkin and Smoked Cheese Arancini- chefs kiss. The staff communicated with us well and were attentive to our requests from booking right through to the event. Highly recommend for private dining or a small intimate event. I can’t wait to visit again in the future!

Fantastic restaurant! We have been to quite a few fancy places to eat in Townsville over the years and Bridgewater is up there with the best of them. I took my wife there for her 70th birthday where we had the 5 course degustation menu, it was fabulous. The wine pairing was great too. The service and atmosphere was great, the staff were very attentive, and the prices were quite reasonable. Highly recommended if you are up for a special night out. Thanks Bridgewater, we will be back🙂

This is an excellent place to enjoy some fine food and drink. This is one of the best restaurants in town. in my opinion, the food here is better than whatever you can get at Casino. They have a bar on the first floor and fine dining restaurant on the second floor. The degustation menu is excellent if you want to try the best they have to offer. The menu does has optional pairing drinks. If you just want some drinks and nibbles, the bar has lovely tables looking at the water. Note: Plenty of car park nearby with a short walk. Never really have an issue finding car park.
