Google
Briermere Farms – A True Long Island Gem I absolutely love this farm! On my last visit, I picked up some beautiful sunflowers before the season ended — they brightened up my home instantly. The baked goods are just as wonderful. The raisin scones are outstanding, generously packed with both golden and regular raisins so every bite is full of flavor. Their apple cider, peach cider, and apricot juice are refreshing and full of natural sweetness — the perfect farm-fresh drinks. And of course, the peach pie deserves a special mention: it’s truly the best peach pie I’ve ever had, with a perfectly balanced crust and filling. Briermere also offers fresh vegetables straight from the farm, and with pumpkin season now here, there’s an incredible variety of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. Whether you’re coming for produce, flowers, pies, or cider, everything is top quality. Briermere Farms never disappoints — a must-visit spot in Riverhead and one of the North Fork’s treasures! 🌻🥧🍑🎃

Google
Amazing pie. We got the fresh fruit peach cream pie and the fresh fruit strawberry blueberry pie. Crust is good. Cream is good. The fruit itself was really good also. The peaches were especially nice and sweet. It’s far out there on the island but it’s pretty worth it. Next time I wanna try the raspberry one. They have a ton of other flavors. I think each pie was $48 but for how much food you get and the quality it’s worth it.

Google
This is a very cute walk-up farm stand where you can see lovely flowers, some are for sale but have your wallet ready $$$. Otherwise as you approach just to the right, there’s fresh produce and varieties of jams and more. At the tables set up as a counter, there’s people taking your order for the pies. I wish they would’ve had more picture because I wanted the peach cream pie but I got the peach pie. I didn’t realize there were two different peach options for me to specify. That’s fine, I’m sure this one is great but now I’ll have to get back out here for the peach cream and raspberry cream next time. The things we do for good food. There’s also cookies that can be purchased at the front, and a brochure you can take to see there other options. Adding more after trying the peach pie.. it wasn’t special, at all. I can make a better one myself, and so could you. I would only get their peach cream pie (when peaches are in season) and the same with the raspberry. Their crusted top pies are no more special than a supermarket-yes I’m serious.

Google
Briermere Farms has been a favorite of mine for years, and the chocolate cream pie has always been my go-to. It’s not an overbearing chocolate flavor, just rich and smooth with plenty of fresh whipped cream, honestly one of the best pies out there. At least, that’s what I thought until I tried the strawberry and blueberry cream pie. The base is a vanilla cream topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries under a light glaze. I expected it to be overly sweet, but it was perfectly balanced. Fresh, bright, and not heavy at all — I actually liked it even more than the chocolate cream, and I’ve been loyal to that one for 20 years. Yes, the line is long, but it moves quickly. And the best part? They’ve managed to keep the same amazing quality for decades. Easily worth the trip every time.

Google

Google
Briermere Farms is a must-visit spot for delicious, fresh pies and locally grown produce. Their pies, especially the heavenly raspberry cream, are some of the best you’ll ever taste. While there’s always a long line, it’s absolutely worth the wait for the quality and flavor they offer. Perfect for anyone who loves farm-fresh treats!

Google
A must go when you are heading to the North Fork of Long Island. Lots of fresh produce, plants, seasonal flowers and PIE! Famous for its huge variety of pies. Highly recommended lemon meringue, coconut meringue and blueberry. Cookies are yummy too! Pie lines go fast with several cashiers to ring you up! What are you waiting for!

Yelp
Oooof. The raspberry cream pie was better than I imagined. I have been dreaming of this pie for at least 2 years. I've never made the 3hr drive just to eat pie, but a friend came back from the Hamptons this weekend and brought one back for me. A thick layer of raspberry compote. An even thicker layer of rich, stiff cream with a hint of tang from cream cheese. A sugar cookie like crust. This pie is everything and more. It's the second best fruit pie I've ever had (Beachlake Bakery....) and definitely the best cream pie. I saw the peach cream pie, and I guess I'll have to wait till next year. I'm going to make it there person!

Yelp
The pies from Briermere deserve 5 stars. We have tried over 8 different flavors of pie and each and everyone is worth the trip and the price. They also have a small amount of other baked goods as well as a small amount of locally grown vegetables and flowers that can be purchased. Although parking can sometimes be tricky it is usually pretty quick to open up as the check out line is quick and efficient. They have menu boards posted through out the line so you can get an idea of what you want before checking out. We've tried some other baked goods from them such as cookies, muffins, and other specialty items. Unfortunately these don't fall in the 5 star category. It seems that regardless of the item or flavor it is supposed to be, the taste falls flat in comparison to many other places. If you're going to briermere, skip the other baked goods and go for the pies. They are visually pleasing and the taste is out of the is world. You will not be disappointed in the quality or the selection.

Yelp
Stopped by on the way home around 4pm and wanted to pick up one of their peach cream pie. My friend use to always picked one up on the way home from the area but the prices definitely been increasing as more influencers stop by since. I understand, but its pretty hefty for a pie. $50 is alot for a craving. Would be really nice if they can come out with a smaller options that might be in the $15-20 range. 1 star off because the value you get isn't the greatest. Beside that, the line moves fast and the parking was okay (we were lucky). Didnt had time to look at their produce selection that days since I didn't want to miss getting the pie.

Yelp
Everyone is picking up fruit, begs, flowers, pies at Briermere!'s! If you think you're going to breeze in fast on Sunday In August after 10 and mot have a crowd... well.. forgeddaboudit! Lol Everyone's patient and the line moves reasonably well. Everything is fresh and delicious here - and a mist have if put here. If you don't need A whole apple pie ... they have tartlets - same flakey soft pie crust and Apple inside. This is definitely the place for Long Island's best corn muffin. Ironically they taste even better the next day. It's been said that one of the brothers took a year perfecting the recipe. Heading back with the most indulgent item they have - Strawberry cream pie. And some fresh locally grown plums.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in the area I must stop by for some fresh flowers, jams and baked goods.

Yelp
Came here on a weekday afternoon. No lines. Went straight to register. Service was great! Ordered the peach cream pies, oatmeal raisin cookies, chocolate chip with pecans, and banana bread. It made it all the way back to queens! Over 1hr and a half drive! It survived the drive ! The pie was still intact and didn't melt! The pie was so so fresh and delicious and cream was not so sweet! The cookies were delish! The banana bread was a bit dry. Will definitely be back for more pies and cookies!!!!!

Yelp
Nice farm stand with great offerings. Pies are amazing and they had great fresh juices. Pricey but the pie was absolutely loaded with fresh fruit. Chocolate cream pie was super tasty as well. Ordering system was efficient and went pretty quickly.

Yelp
Briermiere might be my new North Fork tradition wine tasting in one hand, pie fork in the other. Their apple pie is perfection: buttery crust that melts in your mouth without being soggy, filling that's sweet without being cloying. Pro tip: check the menu ahead, because there's usually a line. It moves fast, but you'll want to be ready so you can grab your pie and get back to your wine.

Yelp
Sunday, August 3rd, 2025. Came right at opening time at 9am to pick up a Peach Cream Pie. Cream filled topped with peaches.

Yelp
I have been hearing about these pies for years and found myself driving right past the farm for work. I immediately parked, there was no line (!!!), and got my raspberry cream pie- everyone I spoke to recommended this particular pie. I think it was $36, kind've steep but when I got home and opened it up OMG. It's prob like $20 in raspberries alone, well worth the price tag. The crust is so buttery, the cream is light and not too sweet and the raspberry top is perfect. Even my dessert picky husband was pleasantly surprised. Definitely coming back and would love to try other pies!

Yelp
I see what all the hype is about, this raspberry crème pie was good. I might need to get a frozen mail order of this

Yelp
So made the drive from Nassau to Suffolk for my friend whom loves pies . They have a small market for produce ( prices are equivalent if not more than stores ) and some plants. We got the peach cream pie a lemon bar a peach muffin apple butter and their homemade fruit juice. The pie was good the preachers weren't t he sweetest but we ate a third of it right there. There are some benches to sit and eat but bring your own plates ! The lemon bar was mediocre and the muffin as well wasn't ever overwhelmed with peach flavor. The juice was good service was fine you stand in line and are called down and place your order.

Yelp
Briermere Farms is always a stop we make on our way to North Fork every summer. The farmstand is not very large, but you won't be able to miss it because so many cars pull in and out. In addition to their famous pies, Briermere Farms also sells juices, plants, fresh produce, jams and jellies, and baked goods. They are most well-known for their raspberry cream pie ($35) which is also my favorite. The crust is intensely buttery and flaky, while the whipped cream is lightly sweet and the fresh raspberry jam topping is tart and zippy (and seedy). Their peach cream pie ($45) is also phenomenal, with fresh soft peaches piled on top. There are tons of cash registers on hand, so while the line may seem long, it moves fairly quickly. If you are planning on transporting a cream pie home, they also sell insulated bags too, as the pies should not stay outside for more than 2-3 hours. I always pick up a slushie drink or two as well-- they usually come in the same flavor as the juices in the fridge but with a more satisfying texture (plus, you can mix the two flavors).

Yelp
This place was recommended by a local while we were in town. In a matter of 3 days we had 3 pies!! Two of the strawberry and blueberry cream pie and a chocolate cream pie. WOW is all we could say for days about these pies!! Huge, filling, fresh and just delicious!! We seriously couldn't decide which was our fav, chocolate or berry cream pie.
google avatar

Kency P.

Yelp
After hearing how great the pies here are we just had to drive out and try it for ourselves. There was a line but it moves very quickly, we decided to get an apple crisp pie, raspberry cream and a fresh fruit strawberry and blueberry cream pie. The cream pies are absolutely delicious!!!! Well worth all of the rave reviews they get! Would make the drive for them easily! The apple crisp was good but it's not something I'd get again for the 28$ price. The other two however, worth every cent. Amazing

Yelp
Simply put, it ain't what it used to be. Briermere has gone the way of Entenmanns. They thrive off a name that earned reverence and mystique. Now it's like The Emperors New Clothes. People seem somehow afraid to speak the truth. The pie is just not good anymore. It doesn't even seem as if they bake on site anymore. You're better off picking up a pie at any farm stand along the North Road.

Yelp
I happened to be around the area and decided to try it. It was my first time visiting and I heard a lot of great things about it. When I got here there was a line but it moved pretty quick. They have a good selection of pies. I decided to buy the blueberry cream pie, apple pie and peach juice. I mixed the peach juice with seltzer water, and it was good. The blueberry cream pie was amazingly good, it was not too sweet. The apple pie was delicious too. The crust had a buttery flavor. I can see why it is a popular place to pick some pies up. Next time when I am around the area, going to try their other pies.
google avatar

Sherry S.

Yelp
This market is full of fresh fruits and vegetables. The customer service was great and the long got long really quick. Everything looked so good and they also had pies available for sale. I would definitely visit this place again.
google avatar

Matthew C.

Yelp
Like always, a wonderful selection of homemade fruit and cream pies, cider, local corn. Local east end tomatoes are not ready until around July 24, but the ones from Georgia look nice. Don't worry about the line, it moves quickly and staff are helpful and easygoing.

Yelp
Great place , fantastic atmosphere, the vegetables and fruits are perfect , the service is outstanding. There so friendly

Yelp
Best pies in the USA - simple. Perfect butter pastry. No shortcuts, no fillers, delicious real fruit with fine balance of sweet. Absolutely amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
Perfect spot to stop at if you're going to someone's house out East. Beautiful flowers and wide selection of pies. We stopped here on a recommendation of our cousin who always brings back a pie when driving home to Queens. The pie was good, best served with ice cream sold separately. Everything is priced like it is on LI.
google avatar

Nicole K.

Yelp
Stopped by after a wine tour. They have fresh produce and fruit. The thing to buy here is the pie! I bought the apple crumble pie and it was delicious. Also picked up two bags of Long Island potato chips. Definitely recommend if you like pie!
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
A great pit stop to grab some fame fresh produce and baked goods! They have a lovely selection of seasonal produce, fresh flowers, jams, and baked goods. My only complaint is that it's a bit on the pricey side. Still, it's worth it if you're out east on the north shore.

Jade C.

Yelp
I'm not a pie person. Decided to get the raspberry cream pie, this is the best pie I've ever had end of story. I don't have much else to say. The fruit is fresh farm to table. The ingredients are wholesome. You can taste the difference. The consistency of the jam on the pie was perfect balancing sweetness and tart. The cream was made with real dairy and had added such a fresh contrast. The pie crust clearly had no seed oils and was a perfect pie crust the traditional way. It was on the dry side as it should be because nowadays pies are made into an oily mess of crushed graham crackers. This is just as real as it gets. A delicious pie. Farm to table. Must try.
google avatar

Yelp
Best place on earth, OMG if you have never tried a Briermere pie you are missing out. Any purchase here would be a win, but my ultimate favorite is the raspberry cream pie. It's is like no other pie I've ever had, I'm convinced they sprinkle a little heaven on it. They are so will organize, when you pull up, you'll see a very long line pretty much always, but don't let that scare you away they will have you in and out of there in a flash.

Yelp
Okay, so as Spring begins on the East coast, for me, it's quite easy to justify getting the quintessential Fall dessert... an apple crisp pie ! Justification is that Spring is when we were here, so one does what one must do to capture their favorite season (the Fall, aka Autumn) and their favorite pie of that season... or EVER. Apple Crisp pie. I have to say I was very impressed. Quite often, I have to criticize what others think is a GREAT apple pie, and it simply isn't... BUT, I was quite taken with the Apple Crisp pie made by Briermere Farms. It had a very respectable amount of cinnamon and even a hint of salt to bring out the sweetness. I think I'd give the pie an 8.7... out of 10. Most pies I've had usually fall way short in the cinnamon category, and that alone kills it for me. Truth be told, my daughter wanted me to try Hallock's, but honestly, they hadn't opened for the Spring yet (when we were here), so we tried Briermere for the North Fork pie experience. Next time we visit Long Island, off to Hallock's for comparison, AND I wouldn't mind returning to Briermere for another apple crisp pie... and maybe even try another kind ! :-)

Yelp
The jellies and jams taste like just picked fruit I just stopped in to stock up up up for the winter. Five stars
google avatar

Nicole N.

Yelp
I wasn't a huge pie girlie until I had pies from Briermere Farms! I like my fruits separate from my desserts but the blueberry crisp pie was very solid! The blueberries weren't too sweet or sour. The pie crust was pretty flaky without being too buttery. The chocolate cream was still my favorite pie because the filling was super tasty with a strong but not overpowering chocolate flavor. The whipped cream was fresh and wasn't too sweet either! Their rhubarb squares were also DELICIOUS! With just a tad bit of tartness, they are filled with buttery goodness and a brownie vs cake mixture. The line moved pretty quick and it was nice to be able to check out their produce while waiting. Lots of parking options.
google avatar

Carlan M.

Yelp
Got the chocolate fudge cake and it was delicious. Customer service was amazing. They take all types of payment. Expect a line but it moved fast. Highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood. A community staple for sure. Beautifully adorned with plants vegetables and locally sourced fruits.
google avatar

Yelp
Love love love their pies, especially the blueberry crumble. Crazy line today but totally worth it

Robert M.

Yelp
Amazing pies jelly's jams all locally made The best place for pies I have ever Had. Gets crazy busy but moves quickly
google avatar

Varsha T.

Yelp
The best pie. The raspberry cream pie is my favorite and super fresh. The cream is light and airy. I have never tasted a pie so well-balanced. The service is very fast and there are usually many cashiers working. I recommend stopping by if you are out east.
google avatar

Marina B.

Yelp
The most charming little farmers market with the freshest produce, gorgeous flowers and most delicious pies. Raspberry cream pie is out of this world! They sell coolers for easy transport
google avatar

Hank V.

Yelp
Excellent pies! Great selection. Pricey but you get what you pay for. On occasions such as Thanksgiving, you can't even get near the place!
google avatar

Yelp
Nothing screams summer like a slice of Briermere pie and the craving hit, so I went! Today's goal was to order things I haven't ordered in the past. I got the rhubarb square (buttery crust, slight custardy layer and rhubarb on top), the apple tart (which I haven't tried yet but many were getting it- seemed like a good compromise of getting that than another whole apple pie) and the Peach Blueberry fresh fruit cream pie. I always either get the strawberry, blueberry or the strawberry/blueberry combo. The peach was very juicy and the pie was delicious- however I am happy I got the pie with Peach & Blueberry than committing to just peach as the peach was tart. The tartness did even out with the cream/crust. I know I said I was gonna get things I haven't tried before but their carrot walnut cupcake is so good- I had to get it again! They were busy but they worked like a well oiled machine with many cashiers open. I also picked up a bunch of items for others (If I'm gonna make the trek- might as well stock everyone up). The cashier was super sweet and offered to help bring everything to my trunk. No one beats this place!

Sarah C.

Yelp
This Apple Crisp pie was the worst Pie I have tried . The Apples on the inside was horrible and not edible and was the weirdest consistency. Almost feel like I got one from a bad batch?? When I say this Pie was terrible it was terrible!
google avatar

Wendy H.

Yelp
Highly overrated. Was excited to bring their famous raspberry cream pie to Christmas, but it mostly tastes like any other cold pie. I will say the cream tasted amazing if you eat it the day of. However the rest of the pie was pretty average. The worst part though was when we found not 1 but 2 long pieces of light blonde hair hidden in the cream... there might have been even more but we threw the pie out after discovering two. For $35/pie, I'd expect better hygiene....

Yelp
I recently moved to Long Island and heard a lot of about this place. For some reason, I thought it was more of a sit-down and enjoy kind of establishment but it was all outdoors and it was ore of a pick-up-and-leave kind of place. Nonetheless, since I had never tried fruit pies before I was very eager. I ordered the raspberry cherry pie, as well as some pastries and vegetables. Everyone was very nice and knowledgable. The first pie I initially wanted was not currently available so I did decide to go with my second choice. I brought the pie home and ate it 5 hours later after heating it in the oven. My first bite was not love at first site. The raspberry was very strong and I could hardly taste the cherry. Everything tasted very Tart to me. As the days went on I did keep eating the pie even though I didn't love it at first - I don't like to waste food that I paid for. After a few days of eating it, it didn't taste as strong anymore and I genuinely started to like it. Im not sure I would say I love fruit pies but I am open to trying another flavor as the pie was very well done.

Yelp
If you're on the east end of Long Island and you're driving through Sound Ave to wine country, you owe it to yourself to spend $42 on this pie! I mean, look at it! And the picture really doesn't do it justice. It is fresh, creamy, with in season fresh fruit (they also have the compote version which is great too), and the crust is just awesome! This place is almost always crowded, but worth the wait. Oh, they also have a decent farm stand and other delicious baked goods too, in case they sell out of the pie.

Yelp
Summer/Birthday isn't official until I get my hands (and mouth) on one of Briermere Farms Blueberry Cream Pies If you've never been here, it's a lovely road trip to the east end of Long Island. It's very pretty out there, no matter which season you choose to travel. Whether you're appreciating the sunflowers in the summer or the corn in the fall, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Mamma Mia for the best gift ever

B C.

Yelp
Hello this review is from Beckey and Charlie! We drive to Long Island a few times a year to visit my mother in law who lives in Mastic Beach. Our trip is never complete before we stop at Briermere Farms for a few pies and other treats. This is a great company that is family owned and you can certainly feel that- because they make you feel like family as well! I wish we could give 10 stars or even 20 because this is much more than a 5 star company! Hands down the best Pie Stop ever and we will keep going back year after year. Thanks for being so awesome! See you again soon.

Yelp
Visited for a long weekend and our family bought two pies in three days. We also bought zucchini to go, which tasted delicious on the grill. Beautiful and affordable flower bouquets. Worth every penny.

Yelp
Amazing Blueberry cream pie with so MANY fresh blueberries. It's absolutely delicious. I saw the fresh peach pie...I'll have to try that next time. Can't wait to come back
google avatar

Riki J.

Yelp
Always a favorite for pies whenever in the area. There's always a line but it moves quite fast! I tried the fresh fruit strawberry cream pie and it was the best. It is piled high with strawberries and the crust is buttery and flaky. It's just divine. I also tried their Apple slushee and it was delicious as well. Cannot go wrong with any of the fresh cream pies.
google avatar

Tee N.

Yelp
Strawberry blueberry cream cake was delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the strawberries and blueberries were so ripe. The crust was crispy and fresh. It's kinda pricey for $42 but I guess we are paying for the berries? We got the blueberry crisp too for $28 which wasn't bad and wasn't too sweet. It was crispy and fresh but I definitely preferred the cream pie! The corn was $1 here but one of the ones I picked was molded which was just bad luck. $8 for blueberries. I just can't wait to come back for the peach cream pie.
google avatar

Sabrina L.

Yelp
My friend told me about this spot and I went here today. Their pies are known to be amazing. I got the strawberry blueberry cream pie and strawberry pie. The strawberry and blueberry pie was great! The strawberries were fresh and the blueberries were delicious. The crust was perfect buttery taste and flakey. Would love to come back and try the peach pie.

Yelp
As a diehard nyc girl who is general ambivalent about most long island things. I cannot emphasize enough how much I LOVE Briarmere pies! (Specifically the pies because I haven't tried anything else ...yet). A coworker very generously graced me with a taste of the strawberry/blueberry fresh cream pie last year and I have been hooked since! I have gotten the pie last year & this year and I can assure you both were absolutely perfect! The pie is absolutely giant and is stacked with what has to be at least 4 pounds of strawberries & blueberries! The cream is juuust sweet enough where it doesnt overwhelm the natural sweet/tartness of the berries. And i dont know how they do it but the crust stays crisp for days! (At least like 4 days because thats the longest they have lasted with very very careful rationing). I also recently tried the blueberry crisp & it was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised with the filling. Im so used to seeing that thick goop in fruit pies but the blueberries in this pie were mostly still whole with a light thin syrup? But the bottom crust still miraculously stayed crisp for days! I was worried that the fruit quality wasnt going to be as good as the fresh fruit pies but I was totally wrong.

Yelp
Visited on Christmas Eve. The method they have for getting in line and being called up to the register is organized and efficient. I really appreciated being able to get my DELICIOUS pies and apple cider quickly during the busy holiday season!
