Brigade du Tigre

"The duo at the helm of Eels, both of whom trained with William Ledeuil and both of whom are passionate about Asia whose continent they’ve roamed, have now opened a second establishment to celebrate the joyful diversity of Asian cuisine in a two-storey bistro-style bolthole. The result: small fragrant nuggets, concocted from quality produce, such as a pressé of three meats, red wine and citronelle jelly or a pithiviers of black pudding and chistorra (sausage), flanked by tamarind and apricot pickles." - Michelin Inspector

We had a lovely start with Karen, who warmly welcomed us and explained the menu and wines thoughtfully. Unfortunately, service declined after that — another server took over, and the experience felt rushed and impersonal. The food itself was excellent, with appetizers and mains showcasing a unique fusion of flavors. However, everything arrived within 10 minutes, leaving no time to enjoy each dish properly. We had to send items back and request a staggered service, which should’ve been anticipated without prompting. A disappointing miss in an otherwise flavorful meal.

Amazing place, so good we had to come back twice during our stay! The fusion flavors and presentation were astounding — especially the gnocchi should not be missed. While we found this spot on the Bib Gourmand list, from a flavor standpoint, it was better than the starred places we tried. Amazing food, very cool and laidback ambiance, and great value. Can’t wait to come back again!

I had an amazing time!!! But if I have to highlight something, definitely the food is the best, every bite was like heaven.. I highly recommend the “sushis de Cochon” amazing! Plus I celebrated our anniversary so the staff put a little candle on our dessert <3

Delicious food all around! The bao bread in form of cinnamon is a must try. The ceviche dish was also one of my fave.

I had mixed feelings about the food. The sushi was fine, and the texture of the meat was good, but it had a noticeable meat smell. The risotto lacked umami and was a bit dry, while the fish was bland — though the coconut sauce on it was quite good. For a Michelin Bib Gourmand selection, I think the overall balance of flavors could be improved. On the other hand, the service was nice and polite!

This restaurant exceeded our expectations. Great Asian fusion place in a chic, but laid-back setting. Creative plates packed with flavor. The sake negroni and wines werd delightful, service was fast and super nice. Prices were reasonable.

I am sorry but the other posts cannot be real or are influenced by the word fusion. Sure the food must be fusion, but that does not account for the lack of proper flavor. A party of 6 we only ate half the food on the table and believe me, it was due to the upbringing that does not allow waste. I have to admit, taste can be very subjective, but look at my other reviews and you decide. Either way, if you try to prove me wrong, this restaurant will do well. So go ahead and try it. once food is delivered, hard to get either of the two servers attention for drinks, and you need to drink at this restaurant. I recommend a few to help the food go down.

As an Asian, I didn’t expect to be convinced — but I was completely blown away. It’s French contemporary cuisine camouflaged with Asian ingredients, creating complex, layered flavours within tastes I’m familiar with. Harmonious, yet full of surprises. Easily one of my top 3 fusion dining experiences in Paris.
