"Brigantine Bistro is just a short drive from the Golden Nugget casino, so it’s fair game for when you’re tired of overpriced AC boardwalk food. This place had great food. This was probably one of the best French Dips I have ever had with a kaiser roll and french onion for the au jus. The fried cheese was great with mozzarella and ricotta. The reuben was yumny too. We sat outside under the canopy and it was a wonderful breezy day. This is a great lunch spot!

Bistro was quiet, clean and not crowded on a Friday night. Not rushed while eating. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful. Food was delicious and just the right amount. Our party of 4 had the empanadas, the taco bowl, the chicken nachos and the grilled Reuben. Would highly recommend!

Google
Excellent food, friendly service, quiet and comfortable but also a little upscale. It feels cozy, but easily seated over 50 or 60 people. I had the meat lovers omellete and it did not disappoint! 4 meats, caramelized onions and cheese. Multiple types of meat in every bite. My wife had the pumpkin pancakes. They were tasty but not overbearingly Pumpkin forward. They also had a fair assortment of teas. We will be back.

We are vegetarian so I can only speak of their vegetarian and vegan options. They have a whole vegan section as well vegetarian and of course a complete set of meat, fish and poultry options. The restaurant reminded me of a dinner with dishes that you might find there. While the dishes we ordered were fine, just not exceptional.

My husband and I loved it here so much. We sat outside under the awning which was perfect. Friendly service and really delicious food!

Everything on menu fabulous! Dine in, BYOB. The DESSERTS excellent “ Vanilla Tres Leches cake is to die for! Chef is an Angel. Last night the baked chicken, mash potatoes and green beans were exquisite! Husband loves chicken quesadillas!

Google
The server and restaurant was great my dietary needs (Celiac). They make homemade GF bread and have a separate grill! Everyone is very friendly and the place is clean. Highly recommend for casual, diner-like atmosphere.

We were so excited to try this "bistro" with gluten free and vegan options, but if bistro to you means eating in a room with no windows then you found your place. Really, it was like eating in a basement but it wasn't a basement, just no windows. It's like some weird diner experience, definitely not a bistro. When you walk in you'll walk past the kitchen area, and the window to it, which is where you pay. There were 5 flies on the mirror behind me (my husband counted them). From the time we ordered (Ham and Cheese and a Mexican style chicken salad) it took over 30 minutes but it was not busy. Drinks are canned cokes, no fountain drinks. I asked for the hot peppers on the side of my sandwich, they were on the side but also ON the sandwich- I don't like hot peppers. Vegan cheese was good, but the sandwich was overall extremely greasy and I can't be sure but it tasted like it was cooked in butter, which defeats the vegan cheese. Our server seemed to disappear. Sorry, but we won't be back.

Yelp
Food is great. Nice portions great service. In the summer get there early. I have been there a few times and also had good food. Especially for a shore point

Yelp
2 stars based on convenience. Third visit and disappointed. Staff is unaware of (and a bit confrontational) ADA service dog policies even though we've been there before. Compared to first visit food was not as good. Spouse's Bisteca Mexicana was tough and overcooked. Ravioli appear to be commercial frozen product. The sauce and meatballs were okay. Waitress was very pleasant and efficient.

Karisa A.

Yelp
Charming local bistro offering a delicious breakfast! Ambiance & Service: Charming, cozy interior! There were a few flies, but nothing too bothersome. Service was a bit slow to seat us, but the staff was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. Food: - Breakfast Bowl: Delicious and filling! The salsa added great flavor, and the quesadilla points were a nice touch. TL;DR: Cozy spot with friendly service and tasty breakfast!

Yelp
We were going home from Atlantic City and stopped by for a quick brunch. It was snowing outside but they were still open! For appetizer, we ordered the chips and guac. They were heated (nice) but not as salty as I hoped they would be. The guac was just ok. My boyfriend enjoyed them though. The Nova Lox sandwich was nice, the onions added a nice touch. But nothing I haven't had before. I couldn't even finish because it was more food than I expected. Parking is conveniently located in the back. It's seemingly a family run business, comfortable and cozy.

Katy and Josh G.

Yelp
Loved this family run place. Great food and great people. We came here before a race for a carbo load and healthy dinner. Every meal was unbelievable.

Schmitty W.

Yelp
Great sandwiches in a convenient location. A tiny bit on the pricey side, but that's just the area.

Yelp
Loved it! In my younger years I worked at a sporting goods store, it was my first job out of college and after one year I found a job in my dream industry the Casino Business. Quit the sporting goods store, took over a 10k pay cut so I could live down the shore in glorious Brigantine. This Bistro sits to the left of the cutest, tiniest, lighthouse smack dap in the middle of Brigantine that has a roundabout encompassing the lighthouse. Now on to the food!! They have a dedicated gluten free menu along with loafs of homemade bread that they use to serve the French Toast for sale to go. The French Toast was perfect, it didn't feel like heavy bread but was very light and they give you the most delectable honey cinnamon butter on the side which you can slather on your French Toast to your likening. French Toast comes with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries, not just one! I went with the Primavera Omelet, which had crispy and delicious fresh broccoli cooked into among other healthy vegetables. The ambiance is fine, they have pictures which I believe were done by local artists for sale on the walls that you can look at while you wait for your food. It is a no frills diner which other yelpers have stated meaning don't expect marble countertops and newly renovated tables. Looks like it may have never undergone any upgrades but who cares, you're at the beach having brunch. If you have never been to Brigantine Beach it's a lovely beach right over the Brigantine connecter (small bridge right past The Borgata and Harrah's). I really recommend you venture out of the Atlantic City hotels and check out Brigantine and the local brunch spots they have. The only other spot I am very familiar with and can recommend is called, "The Pirates Den". Right next to the beach. As always people SYOY!!! And if you're in the BB area have a Rum Runner for me on the beach, cheers!!

Yelp
This place reminds me of the old diners with a whole lot on the menu and there is no possible way they can make everything well. It appears most of the reviews were based on breakfast. We went for an early dinner. Got the steak quesadilla for appetizer and all 4 of us agreed it was great. I got the burger medium. Was presented well done. Server gratiously took it back and even though the replacement was cooked medium, it just didn't wow me. It was quite ordinary. Our friends ordered fish and pork which I thought was brave. It was just "ok". Overall the server was nice. I just think they need to define what they want to be. They have breakfast, Mexican, seafood, steaks and italian. It didn't work for me

Giselle K.

Yelp
Love this place! Food is really good the plates are HUGE!! Mexican food is surprisingly good. Service is always great! Definitely recommend!

Cindy C.

Yelp
Love this place! Found it a few weeks ago on vacation and had to return this time for breakfast. If you're looking for gluten free and vegan options, this is the place!! Amazing food. Friendly service. Good prices. Highly recommend.

Leslie A.

Yelp
STOP THE PRESSES!!!!!!!!! This place is INCREDIBLE! I was in AC for a work trip and stumbled across this little gem via Yelp. When I read they had gluten free French toast, I knew I had to try it! When I walked in this morning, I remembered eating here in the spring while in the area for a different work trip. The food was fantastic back then but due to a health condition I have right now, I can only have GF bread which is hard to find at a casino eatery. I ordered the GF pancakes and they were INCREDIBLE!! This jewel of a restaurant is delicious!! Run, don't walk, to get here!!!

Rose D.

Yelp
First time here and will go back. Food was excellent. Nice variety of different stuff with basic menu also. Gluten free breakfast items which are hard to come by. Service was great. Cute pics all around of local artist selling them.

Andrew K.

Yelp
The food is excellent. I frequent the restaurant and never had a bad meal. The servers treat you as family and the specials are a real treat. One of my favorite places for breakfast and dinner.

Jeremy S.

Yelp
Banana chocolate chip bread pudding French toast, spinach sausage omlette. Great food and service

Yelp
The parking lot is small but the bistro is pretty roomy. Loved the staff here. Everyone is incredibly nice and accommodating. Hubby and I came here 2 days in a row. Albeit, I'm not a breakfast fan it's pretty that they serve it all day. Hubby is huge on breakfast so it's a must that we found a place that could accommodate us both. I'm a huge dinner fan for breakfast. I guess that's considered brunch. We ordered the Turkey Bacon Omelet, Short Stack Pancakes, Home Fries, French Toast, Coffee, Apple Juice, Turkey Sausage, Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap with Ranch Dressing as well as Fries and Pickles. The first time that we dined here I didn't know what to pick. Trying to change my diet I decided to go with a grilled chicken wrap. Although it wasn't on the menu I requested a Grilled Chicken Caesar wrap with Ranch instead of Caesar dressing. They offered either fries or chips. Of course I went with fries. I really wanted an iced hazelnut coffee but they don't offer flavors. Only regular coffee. I had apple juice instead. Holy crapola were these some of the best fries that I ever tasted. The grilled chicken wrap was out of this world as well! Some people go crazy with the dressing when it comes to a wrap. The first time my wrap was the perfect balance of dressing, romaine lettuce, croutons, and perfectly seasoned grilled chicken. I wasn't asked my preference for the type of wrap I wanted. I received a whole wheat wrap which suited me just fine. Due to this I wanted to come back again and get the same meal. Unfortunately, my meal was off instead of whole wheat I received a regular wrap. Although I specifically requested ranch dressing the wrap tasted like it had Caesar. It was really tangy and the wrap was drenched with dressing. The staff here is incredibly nice but when it gets busy things take forever to come out and even longer to pay the bill.

Yelp
Finally tried Brigantine Bistro for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. For such a small, unassuming place, the food and service were great. Will definitely be back to try lunch and dinner options!

Marie S.

Yelp
Food is always fresh, service is the best. So consistent! We eat here once a week. Never had a bad meal.

Diana H.

Yelp
Ate here last night (Thursday). Was greeted & seated immediately by a friendly server. The ambiance is no frills, but not bad either. The menu has a little bit of everything on it. I had the breakfast bowl, which was bigger than expected & even came with 2 mini quesadillas. One of my dining companions had the tacos dorados & said they were decent - presentation was great. My other dining companion got the crab rigatoni special, which was a huge portion & also came with a salad & dessert. They said it was delicious. Pricing was what you'd expect for one of the few spots open on the island in the off season. I recommend & would return.

Melissa V.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Cinnabon French toast, what wasn't great about it. The fresh fruit, the walnuts, the softness in the bread. My friends got the Cowboy skillet, (full flavored & well portioned) & the chicken sausage omelet. (stuff with some protein & full of flavor) Our server was super cool, & took good care of us (she had a black bun)thank you! we'll definitely be back.

Allie A.

Yelp
It can get pretty dicey trying to find a decent place to eat at the shore in the dead of winter, especially on one of the coldest days of the year. This was actually our second choice (the first was listed as open on Yelp and on its website, but was indeed shut for renovation, wa wa wahhhhh) but it turned out to be a decent one. Although we came for lunch, my 93 year old mother wanted to have breakfast and being that she usually has the appetite of a bird, the server offered just one pancake when we asked about children's meals. She TORE IT UP then acted all mad when she realized her platter only came with one pancake. I asked for the hot turkey sandwich, and it was everything that I remembered from the last time I ever ordered it from a diner. Served hot and perfect proportions. Mothing fancy here. Mom and pop place with very sweet and attentive staff.

Michele M.

Yelp
A variety of menu choices and we enjoyed our meal very much. Casual atmosphere and good service.

Diana B.

Yelp
Attentive service and excellent food...creative, fresh and flavorful. My only complaint is that the outdoor canopy doesn't block the rain. Still an enjoyably experience but I would have given 5 if we would have stayed dry.

Eileen C.

Yelp
Brigantine Bistro was amazing. We ate there a few times while on vacation. The staff is incredibly kind and they have a great vegan menu selection. Both of my kids loved it as well. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
My husband and I stopped here on a whim heading back to north Jersey and it was delicious! Relaxing outside area and generous portion and great service. We will be back!

Yelp
Read as 3.5 stars. Vacationed in BB during off peak season and this was the only spot that was open after 2pm. Grabbed breakfast and lunch a few times. They offer a wide variety of food options including vegan, mexican and breakfast all day. Solid coffee, friendly service and outdoor seating.

J W.

Yelp
Great breakfast sandwiches and great coffee! Very nice place. I always stop by when I'm in Brigantine.

Donna B.

Yelp
The food and service here were great! The menu was extensive, and often places don't do variety well. Not to worry. It was all exceptional and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend!

Lorraine C.

Yelp
Food was great, homemade gluten free bread was wonderful, service was excellent and Ambiance wonderful.

Dave R.

Yelp
Good, not great. Extremely overpriced, slow service, portions were not huge. Plus I don't like to be forced to eat outside during the summer, but that's just me. Family members were raving about it and we went and it was pretty much average diner food just extremely overpriced. I do love that it's family owned and operated.

Selena K.

Yelp
Great food, Great service, easy parking. We really enjoyed the place in Brigantine. Thank You.

Marisa H.

Yelp
Great food, fast service! The mozzarella sticks were the BEST ever with ricotta in them as well, so creamy!! Chicken Bacon ranch wrap was delicious as well! Will definitely be back.

J C.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Latin cuisine. Great service. Fair prices. Just go. You won't be disappointed.

B. L.

Yelp
Sooooo fresh and delicious every time. Nice people and will be back soon for sure. Get the pasta and salad and burgers!

Rick B.

Yelp
Family owned and family operated. The kind of place where the staff know the regulars by name and look forward to making first-timers into regulars. Great food! Best breakfast that either my wife or I have had in a very long time! One of those places where a cafe feels like home.

Andrea G.

Yelp
Creative menu for Brigantine, large servings and reasonable prices. Cute sitting outside or in. They turnover tables pretty quickly if there's a wait. Service always cheerful.

Michelle P.

Yelp
Long over due update for Brigantine Bistro. The Bistro has been my go-to for a while now, even more so during the pandemic. The quality and variety in the menu is always top notch. If you want FOMO, check out their changing daily specials when you aren't in Brigantine. They are always friendly and patient when I call in my order. The orders arrive safely and within the time window they promised. Everything has been packaged neatly and tastes just as good at home. Our household fav is currently the quinoa French Toast with berries, but we've never had a bad meal there. Thanks for being awesome, Brigantine Bistro

Chelsey T.

Yelp
Ordered takeout. Cajun salmon was good. Crab cake was cooked well but could have done without the sauce -- overpowered the crab cake and made it soggy. Sides - green beans and especially the potatoes - were good!

Ted A.

Yelp
They were busy obviously during the summer season. Nice variety of food choices. The place is simple but the food is of high quality and variety. Attentive servers. They like all food establishments are under staffed but food came out freshly made to order. Hot.

Jeff C.

Yelp
Really great lunch spot with indoor and outdoor seating. The Gluten-free French toast was among the best I've ever had. Would definitely return when in town.

Richard G.

Yelp
Been to BB many times and I just love it. I love the diverse menu with Italian, Mexican and plenty of vegan dishes. Went with 5 people and everyone raved about the food. Great ravioli in a pink sauce. The calamari appetizer is pretty small for the money. The wedge salad was stellar. Highly recommend a visit.

Don B.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise! Friends took us here on our last junket to Harrahs, Atlantic City. Food is great, service superb! I had the short ribs and mashed potatoes, the VERY BEST I have ever had. Rice pudding was fabulous! I don't know who's in the kitchen, but it all tastes like it used to at your grandma's house! Wonderful!

Catherine G.

Yelp
Favorite place for brunch. I love to checkout the specials. I never remember ever getting a dish I did not enjoy. Staff is very friendly. Inside all year. Outside in the summer months. The tuna bites are a highlight. Soups are spot on.

John B. F.

Yelp
Angel and his family are the best! Always have the best, most consistent food in Brigantine. Follow them on Facebook to see their daily and weekly specials. They are always accommodating for special requests, as in an extra side of this or leave this out. Eagles omelette is amazing! Weekly specials to look out for is Coconut Shrimp, Chicken Pot Pie, Cheesesteak wrap and Carnitas Platter! It's all fantastic! Rice pudding and bread pudding are top notch, did I mention the Chicken Bistro or the Shrimp Bistro? All the Mexican dishes are Awesome! They also do catering! Thanks Brigantine Bistro for all you do! Dale and Dean will deliver it right away while it's hot and fresh, take care of them!

Nicole U.

Yelp
This place is a gem! Surprising menu with both traditional diner food as well as fun creative options. Nice menu options for vegan/veggies and gluten free friends. Give it a try - we enjoyed an outside table for lunch with a quinoa bowl, ahi tuna bites and cream of asparagus soup. We went back the next day for breakfast inside with chorizo hash and a breakfast bowl.

Lindsey B.

Yelp
Cool menu, nice atmosphere, great service, affordable. I would definitely go back when in the area.

Dot T.

Yelp
Delicious food with daily specials. The brisket skillet was so good and the chicken ranch wrap was also great! Will def order here again

Anna M.

Yelp
Came in this afternoon starving and the food was good but my meal came out 20 minutes before my friends and then they brought the check and it almost seemed like they were rushing us out even though they basically forgot the salad. Good food and nice servers but a little disappointed, felt rushed. Just because we're young doesn't mean we're not respectful or responsible. Don't judge a book by its cover!

Gigi A.

Yelp
I liked this place for a couple of reasons. - it's kind of like a diner but doesn't have the diner set up. The feel, tabled and atmosphere is more of a casual restaurant - they offer some interesting and tasty choices like a Mexican breakfast bowl and other specialties for lunch - service was warm and attentive - able to seat a group of 7 - family friendly Priced accordingly for the area and won't break the bank. They do nickel and dime you if you want extras but I guess that's how they keep other costs down. I'll definitely be back.
