The Avenue Fish & Oyster Company Is Opening in Coronado | Eater San Diego

"Scheduled to open by January 2025, the Avenue Fish & Oyster Company will replace the recently shuttered Islander and sit next to Blue Bridge Hospitality’s ice cream parlor, MooTime Creamery. Operated by Blue Bridge Hospitality and led in the kitchen by veteran chef Paul Arias—who trained with Jeff Jackson at the Lodge at Torrey Pines and spent 12 years as executive chef at the Fishery after long tenures at A.R. Valentien—its menu will be centered on seafood from local vendors, oysters sourced from around the world, and seasonal ingredients. The space is set for a complete renovation into an art nouveau motif with a color palette of seafoam greens, blues, and lilacs. To pair with crudo, shellfish, and whole fish there will be a robust cocktail program and a wine list emphasizing white wines and bubbles, and the restaurant plans to be open for weekday lunches, weekend brunches, and dinner every night. Its name is an amalgamation honoring two historic Coronado venues—the Fish Company restaurant and the Avenue gift shop—that are no longer in operation." - Helen I. Hwang

This location was okay if you need a quick bite to eat. The burger and oysters we had were pretty good, but definitely could have been better. I would recommend doing a few of the wagyu sliders instead of the full burger. The staff was friendly and the location is nice for sitting outside.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Evening at The Seafood Bar We visited The Seafood Bar today, and everything from start to finish was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant, filled with great energy, soft lighting, and the inviting aroma of freshly prepared seafood. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, setting the tone for a truly enjoyable experience. The oysters were phenomenal — fresh, perfectly chilled, and bursting with flavor. Each one tasted like the ocean itself. They were beautifully served with classic sauces and lemon wedges, making them the perfect start to our meal. Easily among the best oysters we’ve had anywhere. Every dish that followed was just as impressive. The seafood was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The standout item of the night was the fish burger — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and layered with flavors that blended perfectly. It was honestly one of the best fish burgers we’ve ever tasted. Service was exceptional throughout the meal. The team was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind without ever being intrusive. The drinks were excellent, and the presentation of each plate showed true care and attention to detail. Overall, The Seafood Bar offers a flawless dining experience — great food, friendly service, and a relaxed, upscale atmosphere. We left happy, full, and already planning to come back soon. Highly recommended!

Food is delicious! The calamari, Seafood Cobb, Parmesan Crusted San Dabbs, Blackened Salmon fantastic!!! Service from beginning to end is wonderful. The ambience is so familiar, casual and sea faring classic. Brigantine is a nice restaurant for families, dates, friends to enjoy. Don’t forget classic cocktails.

It was happy hour time. Besides the place being packed and not a lot of options for seating, we were able to squeeze in at the bar area. Servers were attentive and always checking in. Food was good and not bad for $7 prices. We came by a couple more times, sat outside patio. Overall, warm sunny weather, Hotel Coronado and street view to add, it was a nice day at Brigantine in Coronado. Great experience Recommend👍🏼

My server was great! I sat outside during Happy Hour and she was busy with 5 tables but never missed a beat. I ordered from the main menu and she told me the calamari was on the Happy hour menu. I also ordered the sangria which was one of the best I've had in the region. They give you 10 shrimp in the cocktail; I have never had that many anywhere but they were huge size and a good taste. Others need to follow suit. The calamari was a huge serving and I gave never seen strips cut in this fashion but I'm definitely not complaining; Well seasoned and cooked. They were extremely soft and tender.

Google
I thought this place was really good. We ordered a bottle of wine to get things rolling with a dozen of pink lady oysters coming in right behind. The ladies didn’t last long as I polished off my than my fair share, per the usual. Main course was the swordfish and broccolini. All of the food was great and the wine really tied the whole meal together. Atmosphere was bustling and energetic for a beach front Saturday night. Overall pleasant experience. Would definitely do again!

Google
The parking for the restaurant is challenging. The decor and atmosphere for the restaurant is typical for the franchise which was good. The service was very good. The drinks was very good. The food was very good. The lobster taco was pretty good.

The interior is great but the sun will ruin your outdoor dining with the sun scorching 🥵. No umbrella that helps in the evening

Yelp
This was a classy place for brunch on San Diego's Coronado Island. The area is a bit more upscale with a great view of the water and close proximity to the hotel and neighborhoods for walking and exploring. However, inside this place, there was a more laid-back bar ambience and some good but fried dishes. We Had the Shishito peppers and the crispy shrimp, which I would recommend. We also had a classic salad and some other shareable items that weren't as memorable for me. Service was efficient. The servers know who their regulars are, which is okay. Plenty of great drink options, but not the vibe we were going for that day. Cute interior, comfy seating, clean overall, with nice decorations. Parking was relatively easy, but I would expect more difficulty during peak hours. We came in the early afternoon so we just missed the lunch crowd and were there too early to compete with the dinner patrons.

Yelp
Was in San Diego for a long weekend with Wifey a couple weeks ago and my only responsibility was to choose dinner locations. My seafood diner choice was Brigantine, which was within walking distance of our hotel. Seated us inside but with a beautiful view of the sunset. Place isn't fancy for your attire. Nice shorts and a polo is perfect. We had a reservation (and it was a little early) si we were seated immediately. Waiter was Billy - who was super friendly and helped us choose our entrees and drinks. I started with a Cucumber jalapeño margarita and Wifey had the Pomegranate sangria. The drinks were great...and mine was pretty strong. For starters we tried the Baked oysters a couple on the half shell. For our entrees Wifey had the Crab stuffed shrimp and grits and I, surprisingly, chose a pretty healthy option of Wok seared ahi and vegetables. The stuffed shrimp meal was very rich (I got one of them), but delicious. My meal was fantastic and I was completely full at the end of it.

Yelp
We came back here twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times were great experiences! We sat in the bar area both times - the tables and bar stools in that area are all open seating and we didn't have to wait. Both times I got the Fish n Chips. Yum! Fresh tasting fish, healthy portion provided, with the perfect crispy outside. The fries were also delicious! I like that you can do the bar portion with 2 pieces, or the lunch/dinner portion with more. My husband got the Fish n Chips during our first visit and the Fish Tacos our second visit - he enjoyed both meals. During our visit for dinner we split the Mud Pie - it was a great choice! The service was great - both our waitresses were very friendly and attentive. It's clean inside and the ambiance was great! This is definitely one of the best options for food on Coronado.

Yelp
We had such a great experience at The Brigantine in Coronado! Their happy hour is truly one of the best in town. We enjoyed a half dozen Blue Point oysters (outside of happy hour) and they were excellent--fresh and briny. Happy hour itself was a standout, with $7 drafts, select cocktails, and wines, plus a variety of food options that were both generous in portion and full of flavor--all for just $7. You can't beat that value. We also came by on Taco Tuesday, and wow--the tacos were only $6 each, but they were large, loaded, and absolutely delicious. The Brigantine is a great place to eat any time--the food is always delicious--but the happy hour deals with their generous and flavorful offerings are an extra perk. Overall, fantastic food, great drinks, and unbeatable specials. Definitely the best happy hour spot in Coronado! We sat at the bar. Inviting and casual - Check it out !

Yelp
This was a casual location that had a diverse menu with mostly seafood fare. There was a large bar upon entering and it also included open air seating it seemed. The service was appreciated as the food came out in a timely manner. Three dishes were ordered, the crispy brussels sprouts, crispy coconut macadamia shrimp, and the fresh steamed clams. The brussels sprouts had pieces of pork belly, Spanish chorizo, blue cheese, and salted caramel. The sprouts had a great cook to them and contrasted nicely with the blue cheese and salted caramel. The caramel on the meats was unique too. There were plenty of the meats present, which was nice to see. The shrimp had a ponzu sauce. There were six extremely large and crispy shrimp tails. The sauce was not too overpowering, and it stuck on the shrimps without falling off, which was ideal. The clams had chorizo, shallots, garlic, and lemongrass in a red curry-coconut broth. There were also pieces of toasted baguette. There were about two dozen clams or so. The clams were too small, however. The sauce was appetizing and mostly made up for it. Will I go back? Probably.

Yelp
Jill is amazing she had great suggestions. The staff was swift and friendly. The food is delicious. Thank you for seating us so quickly. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Yelp
Came on Sunday afternoon with the cousins. Was around for happy hour and we had a toddler with us as well. Our server was great, checked on us frequently but not overly so, made sure we had everything we needed, very personable and didn't rush us out. We order a plethora of dishes, fried artichoke, shrimp cocktail, Cesar salad, kids Mac and cheese with fruit, sliders and nachos. Portions were all very good size, everything tasted nice and fresh. Wasn't a huge fan of the blue cheese with the nachos but the fried artichokes were crispy and delicious without being oily. It's great location for people watching and more affordable than eating at the Del.

Yelp
Happy hour with so many options. All with excellent quality! It takes more than expect to arrive but once you are there just to have a great time with friends it does not became an issue. I'll definitely go back!

Yelp
Had such a great time! It was happy hour and Ben was our server, he was attentive and just all around cool dude! Also shout out to Jill for being so friendly and hospitable. I love it here! Potato skins are def my fav on the happy hour menu and the mud cake is to die for!!!!

Yelp
We stopped in for Happy Hour and it is such a great deal! Everything on the happy hour menu is $7 for a limited amount of time but it was such fun! We had the shrimp cocktail and they were so fresh, crispy and flavorful. The house salad is to die for and full of cranberries and walnuts. Super healthy and delicious! The fish taco is a large portion, colorful presentation and filling. We also tried the fried artichokes and they were ok but would be better grilled. The house wines are a great deal and the service was great. The restaurant on Coronado is open air feeling and welcoming . The staff is very positive and greeted us as we entered. We also decided to have coffees and the mud pie which was amazing! I would really recommend trying it.

Yelp
Super bummed about our latest experience here. We came on the 4th of July (come at me with all of excuses you want about busy season etc etc). They have a new large patio area but we were seated in the old patio area and were blinded by the setting sun. So we passed around sunglasses as the sun position changed. The table ordered calamari for an appetizer. FYI they are strips and not the o rings and little squid bodies. Table wasn't much of a fan of them. I am gluten free. We have eaten here before. I enjoyed my food the last time. I ordered what I order last time- mahi and was told they were out but could sub a different type of fish. I forget what kind he said. So I said yes. After orders were taken he came back almost 10 minutes later letting me know that the other type of fish was "pre prepped" and was not gluten free so I needed to pick something else. I am allergic to red meat so most other options I liked had bacon. I should have just asked if they could be made without bacon but I didn't want to keep having to change my order. I ordered the sand dabs and it was awful. I barely touched it. I think we will skip this place next time. Based on other reviewers it seems to have gone down hill a bit.

Yelp
Our server was Jill and she went above and beyond! The food was also absolutely amazing. We had the calamari appetizer and the swordfish, which was like butter. A terrific experience, and we'll go back if we can, though we're just visiting.

Yelp
Went to lunch. We ordered fish and chips, and salads. My salad was the house salad my friend ordered the crab Louie salad. Service was very nice. We ate in the very small patio where several others were also dining there. No one was in the actual restaurant. It was perfect San Diego weather. Service was great.

Yelp
Came here with a group for Saturday night dinner. Had the shrimp and grits plus a ton of different appetizers. The coconut shrimp were great and the calamari was as well! Tried some of my dad's scallops as well and they were fantastic. Lots of great menu options!

Yelp
Excellent service, excellent ambiance, and great menu selections. I must say the brussel caramel starters are a must. They have a bread and cheese dip that is really tasty and flavorful. You can beat it. They are very accommodating seating and food. I ordered the lobster tacos which I wasn't expecting it to be fried but it was still tasty and good. It has blue corn tortilla. Someone else ordered the seafood salad. Huge portion and a must have. I also ordered the clam chowder. It's probably more of a winter dish but it was still okay. Some of the fish tacos come with a huge fish portion also. All their dishes look really good and creative. We went to the Brigantine on Coronado Island. I would go back. Their veggies which I ordered double veggies were buttery and oily and not overcooked. You will get all the nutrients from them. I still enjoyed them. I would go back. I enjoyed my visit. Its not to pricey.

Yelp
This is our second time visiting The Brigantine. Ambiance is causal and relaxed. Restaurant is located walking distance from the beach. We had happy hour on the patio with our pups. There was a great selection of items on the happy hour menu and food was delicious. My husband also ordered a fish entree off the menu which he loved. Our server was very nice and checked on us frequently. Fast service as well!

Yelp
We stopped here for that meal in between lunch and dinner (which we refer to as 'Linner' - if that isn't a thing, it should be). We have been to and enjoyed the one in San Diego, so we were ready for the same experience here. And we weren't disappointed! We got there right before the start of their dinner menu, so the host sat us with the lunch menu. I wasn't really impressed with their lunch menu (I cannot remember the exact reason, but it's like between my allergy and do-not-care-for list), the waitress offered to bring out the dinner menu because we were only like 10 minutes away from the dinner kitchen opening. Fortunately the Shrimp & Grits that I had at the SD location was also available here, just on their dinner menu - so that's what I ordered (even though after my review of the SD restaurant said that I'd try their Swordfish at my next visit). I am SO glad I did, it really is SOOOO good!!! I am pretty sure I'll be dreaming about that thing sometime in the near future. Our server was kind and attentive and helped answer my questions about the lunch menu (which is likely when she realized I may prefer the dinner menu). The place is comfortable with lots of seating (including outdoors) and has a fabulous location near the Hotel Del. If you like seafood, check out their menu and head that way. You'll enjoy it! Thank you for reading my review.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick bite after walking around Coronado, food was fine, just not fantastic. I had the pork chop as you can see here and my wife had the halibut, we had to ask for the sauce for the halibut after she noticed it was a little bit dry, they might've put some sauce that was supposed to come with it under with the beans, but it didn't seem like there was much if any. Nothing wrong with the food just wasn't impressed. Service was good, the waiter was nice. Will try again and try some different dishes next time.

Yelp
Brigantine in Coronado really delivers on quality and atmosphere. We came in for Taco Tuesday, which lined up perfectly with Happy Hour, and it couldn't have been a better combo. The Blue Point oysters were a standout--fresh, briny, and absolutely worth ordering. The fish tacos were crisp, flavorful, and lived up to their reputation, and pairing everything with a margarita from the bar made it a great evening. Chips and salsa hit the table right away, and every plate that followed came out quickly and just right. The setting strikes that perfect balance of classy and coastal--polished enough to feel special, yet relaxed enough to make you want to linger. Service was professional, friendly, and on point throughout. Between the oysters, the tacos, the drinks, and the overall experience, Brigantine proves why it's a Coronado favorite. Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour together make it especially worth coming in--you won't regret it.

Yelp
A lovely place to grab some dinner near Hotel Coronado! My family and I racked up a pretty large tab and enjoyed the service we received. Our food came out in a timely manner and it was all so good! Some highlights were the grilled octopus, coconut shrimp, and the scallops. We had drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert--the whole shebang and every single one was delicious! A special shoutout to our waitress, Aubrie. She was efficient, kind, and nice to chat with (my dad is a major talker haha). When we find ourselves back in the area, we will totally come back!

Yelp
made a reservation for my dad's 50th birthday.. Once we ended up not ordering any cocktails/drinks and just sodas, the server's whole demeanor shifted a bit. After we got out sodas, we waited 20 minutes and the server continued to service every single table around us (most tables arrived after us) , even brought out their appetizers, and still never came back to our table to finally take our order. We made eye contact with the server a few times, I know he noticed we were waiting for him... So unfortunately this resulted with my dad losing his appetite and we had to walk out. Do not judge your table only because cocktails were not ordered.

Yelp
We really liked Brigantine. It is not necessarily a fancy restaurant, but the food is great and the prices are high, so it's definitely a good time! We dressed nice and I think that's a good standard although it's not pretentious at all. The Crab Cake was literally the best Crab Cake I've ever had! The oysters were good with the sauce and horseradish. The Swordfish was also the beta I've ever had! Our server was friendly and helpful, recommending a great wine to accompany our seafood. The ZD chardonnay is so delicious and the perfect pairing with our meal. We finished off with the toffee flour less cake and it was SO SO yummy. I highly recommend coming here.

Yelp
Attended a business lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. Our group reserved the private dining room and had 3 tables of 6-8 people. The space is beautiful and very classy. We had a 3-Prix Fixe menu with choice of 1st Course: Savory Clam Chowder or a Delicious Salad, 2nd Course: Sage Brined Chicken Breast with Fries, 10oz NY Steak Blue Cheese Crusted and red wine demi glacé atop mashed potatoes and fresh green beans, Lobster tacos with fries, or Miso Seared Salmon, and 3rd Course: S'mores Brownie atop a Cheesecake. I ordered the Delicious Salad and NY Steak. My food was amazing! I also had one of the more perfect Arnold Palmers in San Diego. Our server was wonderful and I appreciated her customer oriented hospitality was stellar. This is definitely my new place for group business lunch. I am amazed that I had never been to this location before, and I am a SD Native Born! I do love Brigantine Pt Loma and Portside Pier locations. This is now another to add to that list. Parking is a true challenge. They have 2 hr parking spots on the streets adjacent to and behind the establishment. Or, park about 2 blocks away and take the beautiful walk in the town, which is a thrill in itself.

Yelp
The octopus was deliciously flavored but a little black burnt. The scallop dish would be good if it's less salty :( same with the grits

Yelp
Hey Y'all! I stopped for a quick lunch with my family and it was a pleasant experience. I ordered a Passion Fruit Margarita. It was tasty and I typically do not eat beef, but I enjoyed the carne asada taco and the chicken salad. I did not happen to take pictures of everything, but it was good. My family ordered some drinks as well to go along with the wagyu sliders. They also ordered the fish taco plate and the swordfish tacos. The swordfish was great and the regular fish that they served was decent. Overall they enjoyed their food and drinks. I would definitely recommend you try this place. The service was great, I have no complaints at all. The scenery was nice as you can view the Coronado Hotel across the street, but the only downside was I went on a cloudy day. I can only imagine the beauty when the sun is beaming down. 3/5 Only due to the fact that it was short lived and I did not try multiple things. So, I'm definitely looking forward to returning & exploring other options.

Yelp
Decent prices but the food is average at best. Fried calamari tastes frozen and just warmed up. Sliders are blah

Yelp
Came in with some friends for lunch. Parked around the corner and walked a little to get to the restaurant. They were a little busy but they were able to seat us upon arrival which was nice. We sat at a table, three adults and a baby. They are kid friendly. The waitress was attentive and very nice. My friend had been there before and she offered good recommendations as I was indecisive. We ordered 1 fish taco with coleslaw and she added fries, and 2 marinated mahi mahi sandwiches with a side of either fries, chips or salad. I picked the chips and my friend ordered the fries. Service was quick with the food but they forgot the avocado on our sandwiches. They brought it out separately which was fine but the food itself was just ok. The chips weren't salted but I could have added it, and didn't, and the sandwich was good. The coleslaw that came with it was crunchy but refreshing. My other friend enjoyed her fish tacos and fries. Overall, it was a nice place to meet up with friends.

Yelp
Best choice for early dinner to end (or start) a fabulous time in Coronado! The happy hour deals are excellent, and Taco Tuesday is awesome! It's very big inside but the noise wasn't overwhelming. The service was fantastic, we didn't wait long for anything. We had a calamari starter, a dozen oysters, 9 tacos, 1 mixed drink, 2 margaritas, and a glass of wine. All of that plus a generous tip was $125. We wanted more bites of all the food and none of us could decide which was our favorite! The calamari was super tender, we were pleased with the variety of tacos/fish available, and they were full with generous helpings of fish and condiments. We all thought that especially the brigantine house tacos were out of this world. All tacos had plenty of toppings, fresh cabbage, cheese and each a sauce that matched the filling. Don't forget the Brig's sauce though! My folks live here on Coronado and this is a regular for them. We are sure it is now a regular for us too!

Yelp
Food wasn't great, very subpar and bland. Server didn't even check on us until it was time to pay, wouldn't come back definitely better food spots to go to. Not sure why the crab cake was advertised as lump, when the meat was very stringy and overly breaded. Thai steamed clams were terrible, did not taste very much curry flavor maybe a whisper of lemongrass in the broth. Flies were everywhere in the restaurant and the AC wasn't on even though it was 90° outside. Seems like a tourist trap for people who don't know any better. I would advise to go somewhere else for your money. Go to Mitch's or Point Loma seafood instead. Overall just wasn't impressed with my experience there.

Yelp
We stopped in this location for an early lunch/brunch about 11:15 while walking to the Del in Coronado. A very nice place, well decorated and welcoming. We were seated right away outside, such a beautiful day in Coronado. We ordered the crab and shrimp Cobb salad and the fish tacos. Once the food arrived, everything was great, crab and shrimp Cobb was fresh and well prepared and the fish tacos were great with a bit of hot sauce, prices are a bit elevated but to be expected on Coronado. Service was unfortunately lacking on this day. They were polite and nice but it appeared even with minimal people inside and out, the back kitchen was super slow. Drinks ordered, 15 minutes later the drinks arrived (two waters, a diet and an Arnold Palmer), different server arrived after that to take the lunch order, food arrived at the 1 hour, 20 minute mark from sitting down, we walked away after the bill a little after 1pm. Don't know what happened there maybe a bad server handoff or maybe an off day for the kitchen but the food was good nonetheless. Just give yourself some time if you are on a schedule. Give it a try.

Yelp
Porking: There is street parking and also paid parking further down the road if you need it. Service: The service was very profeasiar nal. Our server, I forgot her name unfortunately wes one off the best servers I've ever come across. She gave her recommendation and shared her thoughts on items that we valued alot. Food: Food was amazing . I had the shrimp as an appetizer which was crunchy, hot, and delicious. I ordered the lobster tacos which even though it was 2, was delicious and very filing. For dessert I had the flouress chocolate cake which was the sugar on top to a great meal. For drinks I had a vingin strawberry mojito, which is one of the best that I've ever had. Ambiance: Ambiance was great. We were able to get a booth away from the huge crowd on the other side of the restaurant which was appreciated. Opportnities: One thing I can point out is the fries on my order. They weren't fresh, but when l informed a team member I was able to get a fresh plate within minutes. That wasn't much of a be deal to me, and l appreciate the turn around time to how quick i was able to get served. Overall: This was my first time at this location and I enjoyed everything about it. I'd definitely come back for the service and my particular server as well. She did a great Job!

Yelp
I always come here with my husband, great service and food every single time. Especially the oysters... We visited tonight and we had Jill. She was AMAZING, so attentive, kind, friendly, and receptive. So far the best service we had here was with Jill !!

Dianne B.

Yelp
Our server, Jill S. was so attentive last evening 8/31 when we went to celebrate our 42 Wedding Anniversary! She went out of her way to recommend entrees and highly recommend the signature citrus martini which was so delicious. The service was excellent for a busy Saturday over Labor Day weekend but we were never rushed but felt at home and well taken care of. My husband ordered the macadamia crusted sea bass and I had the Cobb Crab & Shrimp Salad. Jill even offered us an Anniversary Mud Pie for dessert on "the house". Thank you for making us feel so special on our day! Jill really took care of us! We have been coming to Brigantine for years but Jill made it the best night ever!

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance were great. We were just visiting San Diego for a road trip. We will definitely be back to this place when we visit again.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my life partner's birthday dinner. The service, ambience and food is delicious! We started with appetizers. The clams and coconut shrimp were amazing! The house salad, chowder and lobster tacos were also very delicious!

Yelp
I've been a loyal customer at Brigantine for years--I usually go to the La Mesa location weekly and always get the oysters, especially the Minter Sweets, which are normally amazing. But after what happened at the Coronado location today, I honestly don't know if I'll ever come back. We ordered a half dozen Blue Points and Minter Sweets, and the Minter Sweets were absolutely disgusting, abnormally huge, full of what looked like pus, and literally burst in the mouth. The flavor and texture were completely off. We had to spit them out at the table, they were that bad. I've never had anything like it. What made it worse was the dismissive attitude of our server, Riley. When we told her the oysters were bad, she brushed it off, no apology, no offer to check with the kitchen, nothing. Just completely uninterested in making things right. And now my boyfriend is throwing up because of how sick those oysters made him feel. I've always loved Brigantine, but this experience was beyond disappointing. The quality, the food safety, and the customer service all failed miserably.

Yelp
I celebrated my 30th birthday here and our server Jill made it absolutely unforgettable. She was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the night special. Jill brought such positive energy to our table and truly made the evening feel personal and memorable. Thank you, Jill, for turning a great dinner into a perfect birthday celebration! We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
On a winter vacation with a day in the 70's stopped in Coronado. After walking around the Hotel Coronado, stopped here for lunch. Being from Colorado I wanted Seafood, not Mexican. This place was recommended by a local friend. It was great! I had Tiger Shrimp wrapped in bacon. Three very large shrimp with fresh veggies; carrots and harricovair. Perfectly cooked! A glass of Champagne topped off the meal. Very lovely server and the outdoor seating was so relaxing. Highly recommend. Nice clean restroom.

Yelp
Jill provided the best service since we arrived in San Diego! The food paired with the exceptional service made our last night in Coronado so special. If you're staying nearby, this is a must try place - order the fish & chips - 12/10!!

Yelp
Benjamin C was the name on my check for the bar tonight. He was very welcoming and friendly. He asked if I wanted my side chowder out before my sandwich which was thoughtful. The pizza port amber ale was great! Mahi sandwich wasn't anything amazing but it was fresh and came out quickly. Chowder was a 10! He let me know Mondays they do a great HH so may stop by for that.

Yelp
We were very disappointed having been here in years past. The macadamia shrimp was overcooked, the Moscow mule was not good and my iced tea was simply refilled with the same lemon and straw in my glass when the waitress returned.

Yelp
The reviews are true, Jill was one of the most kind and friendly servers we've ever had. She really made the experience special and was very kind and thoughtful with us. Coconut shrimp and the crab cheese fondue were very good. I ordered the Salmon and it was great. My wife and her mom both had the Cobb salad and it was huge! The mud pie dessert is also a must have. Love this place, thank you all for the hard work and kindness.

Yelp
Great place to pop in for a burger. Food is mediocre but a good place to sit at the bar for lunch.
