I could spend hours at Briggs Nursery — their selection of plants and flowers is just so good. I’ve been on the hunt for David Austin roses for a while now and was so excited to finally find them here… ended up going home with three containers (couldn’t help myself!). Everything is well cared for, beautifully displayed, and the whole place just feels peaceful and inspiring. Such a gem of a nursery — can’t wait to come back again soon.

Google
Purchased an absolutely beautiful blue spruce and had it planted by Briggs nursery. They have the absolute best customer service, which has carried on after Pat "passed the work" along. Pat was a really good man and he built up a sustained successful client oriented business Great job to all, couldn't be happier, Thank You

I have been plant shopping at Briggs for years now it was nice at first but every single time I bring a plant home from there I find it’s infested with spider mites! There have been few times I have left the store mid shopping because I saw the mites in the plants. Considering the high price and low quality of indoor plants, lack of variety there are many stores in the area I find more worth while. Jordan’s jungle is not far from here and they are consistently getting new inventory. After boycotting Briggs for a year I went a few days ago they still had all the same plants as last time and nothing new. I decided to give it a chance and bring a hoya plant home, jokes on me because again infested with spider mites. Thankfully I quarantined the plant from my thai constellation, variegated frydeck, variegated arrowhead 100$ of dollars worth of plants. I am no longer planning on bringing my business to Briggs. I have spoken to them about issues with the plants offering no refund/replacement these boring half alive plants are NOT worth the risk especially with the added attitude from the workers! The adults are the issue not even the teenagers working the cashier, they are typically decent and kind not sure how much they know about plants though!

Google
Beautiful selection of plants that are well cared for. The staff was great. The cafe food and drinks were great too! Will definitely be going back.

Google
Love Briggs, good selection and love their café. I don’t live in the area but my sister does and always have to make a trip when I’m in North Attleboro!

Google
Absolutely awesome is all I can say. By far the biggest and best nursery I've ever seen. I fell in love with this pony tail palm tree but I have no place to keep it during the winter. They have tons of flowers in every color, annuals, perennials, grass, trees, hangers, trailers you name it. They have a beautiful selection of ceramic pots also.

Google
Love this place! They have a great assortment of plants indoor and out, love finding something new in their tropical room! Cafe inside is cute too!

Google
I recently had an unpleasant experience at Briggs Nursery involving a manager who appeared to be in her 60s. The issue began over a $2-3 price difference on a mum. I remained calm throughout, but the manager quickly became argumentative and raised her voice. Attracting attention from surrounding customers. She eventually acknowledged that the sign was misleading, but by then the situation had escalated unnecessarily. During the interaction, she also took hold of my arm... not in an aggressive manner, but inappropriately, as she attempted to lead me away, I asked for her name and she said "this is a private business I don't have to give you my name." The entire encounter was unprofessional. I’ve always appreciated good customer service, but this incident left a very poor impression. I hope Briggs management addresses this behavior so other customers don’t experience the same treatment

Yelp
I'm obsessed! I literally want to buy everything in this place! This enormous nursery and garden supply store has it all - indoor plants, an outdoor (seasonal) nursery full of annuals and perennials for your garden and landscaping needs, a million adorable planters of all sizes and styles, outdoor furniture, bird feeders and food, yard decor and a cute cafe with excellent food and sandwiches. For a little winter rejuvenation wander through their giant, light-filled greenhouse and check out the vast array of different plants. You can grab lunch or a snack at the cafe (I recommend their sandwiches) and sit at one of small cafe tables at the back of the greenhouse. It's almost like being outside and much warmer!

Yelp
This is hands down the best nursery I've been to around here. They've got a great selection of plants and trees, plus an awesome café and gift shop. Delivery fees are a little high, but overall, it was a really good experience.

Yelp
Took a quick 20 min drive to the Mass border today to go to this amazing place. We love the decorations and the wide array of things to buy but this is about the cafe! We had breakfast sandwiches and they were awesome, simple & light on croissants . My husband said the coffee he drinks black was great! Very friendly employees working there & the prices are good too. Such a cute place to grab breakfast , lunch or a snack. Our new place to go visit:)

Yelp
6 employees on the floor - all teens - chatting away and ignoring customers walking up to them with questions. Interesting sales strategy.

Yelp
I have never had a disappointing experience at Briggs! Briggs has a great selection of succulents, regular house plants, outdoor landscaping necessities and decor. Their staff is friendly and always ready to assist you. The Briggs cafe is a new addition, so now you can grab a treat to reward yourself for working hard in your garden! Like any popular business, if you go during high volume hours, don't expect swift service at the cafe- however have some patience because it is worth the wait! Prices are moderate, but you get what you pay for! This location has a spacious parking lot, which can get packed during peak hours.

Yelp
I had went to purchase veggies, I recently started a new vegetable garden in my home and couldn't find what I was looking for, maybe I went to early in the season totally understand. So I didn't want to make it a waste of a trip with my kids. The indoor products are gorgeous and bought a few things we loved! I ended the trip at the food court/cafe they call it! Unfortunately it seemed to be like fast food to me with out rages prices for poor quality! tThey don't cook anything it's all heated up or taken out of fridge, haha! Needless to say it wasn't pleasant to top it off this older lady claims she comes in at "7 and needs to leave at 1 worked here for years and I shouldn't be at the register" I quote her! I honestly wanted to walk away cancel my order because I felt embarrassed for her! She was not customer friendly and pretty rude for my taste. In my opinion she must be why all the other employees in the food court seem miserable! She is heavy set with reddish blonde hair didn't see a name tag but she was apparently in charge of the tips, she continually said that too ! We're is the management, please help these young girls that have to deal with Princess Fiona! Take a chill pill Princess Fiona what is your tip 20 bucks ? if Briggs didn't pay you enough I'll give it to in cash if you stop harassing these young girls! I have to add to my review looking at other post!! Do they seriously pay people for reviews or am I not an employee or friend!!! I did not, I repeat did NOT receive the same experience as these folks I it's fake!!! My opinion !!

Nichole M.

Yelp
It's gorgeous in there. A place to recalibrate, eat, sit and talk or read. Definitely a place to go alone or with a friend(s). Top tier plants and foliage for shopping, good healthy food, and shopping for wind chimes etc. Makes me miss my dad who had a VERY GREEN thumb. Bittersweet, it's a little home away from home, I can feel my dad with me when I am there.

Yelp
I love this place w all my heart & soul. I have bought so many exciting plants, plant accessories, roses, cool books/gifts here! I love this place! They have a nice cafe, too! The people could be a little nicer tho. The cafe is nice, but I have had a few people look at me with a stink eye when I had a question (maybe they have things to do), so I try to avoid talking to anyone - because I don't want to spoil my time there, since everything is so pretty.

Yelp
I came in looking for a unique gift and was surprised at how much was available. The girls up front were friendly and helpful.

Valerie C.

Yelp
Don't go to a box store to save a few dollars, this plave is excellent. Insane selection! In the last month I have purchased 12 plants that are thriving! The only two that died immediately (within a week) was a spider plant and a very large succulent, and thats because they were wateogged when I bought them, my bad for not repotting immediately. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, I am going back today.

Yelp
Briggs Nursery is the most beautiful plant nursery I've been to. Their huge assortment of plants is incredible. If you were to check out every plant, you would probably be here around an hour. The backyard garden section is enormous and will have every plant you're looking for. A lot of the plants here are unique and were new to me. It's hard not to buy at least one plant while you're here. All the plants are thriving and marked at a great price. They have different sections of the store for buying miscellaneous items as well as a café. The drinks and food are delicious. Come check this place out if you love nature!

Yelp
Our kids (aged 3, 7, 8, and 10) and I come here every week during the school year. Not only do we enjoy the ever-changing landscape of the greenhouse, a great coffee shop open till 5pm daily, plus the plethora of gift ideas, we have gotten to know the head horticulturalist, Andrew. He's the best! So cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Great variety of plants and flowers...and great cafe food and drinks just as great! Highly recommend.

Yelp
I absolutely love Briggs and go there regularly just to browse, especially with each change of season. Their plants (and selection) are great and I love the merchandise section in the middle that updates regularly. It is definitely one of the best plant stores in the Massachusetts/Rhode Island area. On this last trip however, I went to order one of my favorite sandwiches and found that the cafe had totally changed. No more freshly made sandwiches, I was told only pre-made ones so you can't add or subtract things anymore. And all three of my favorite sandwiches are no longer on the menu. It's such a shame as we loved to come for brunch or a quick lunch on weekdays. Not sure why the menu has been so minimized but definitely disappointed!

Yelp
Love this nursery , cafe , need a gift get one here to impress , food trucks there some weekends too . Christmas wreaths and decorations wonderful Mums and fall plants just a great place healthy plants . I love it .

Yelp
Excellent selection and the employees are always super helpful! I have only had positive experiences - all plants/shrubs I've purchased have lasted and bloom wonderfully! A great way to spend a Spring day!

Yelp
Just a wonderful and huge place for indoor and outdoor gardening fun. I could spend 3hrs in there.

Yelp
Briggs nursery is a pretty awesome establishment, they have a large selection of plants I have ever seen before from indoor plants to outdoor plants and cute decor for your house throughout. The cafe is good too. They have great food and good coffee!! What more can you ask for plants and coffee- yes! Great experience and it's an excellent place if your looking for the perfect houseplant or to even just get coffee/food and relax.

Kim T.

Yelp
Great food, service and atmosphere for networking or relaxing! A must visit!! The coffee, lunches and cafe is awesome!!
google avatar

Yelp
This. Place. Is. Beautiful. I am more of a houseplant kinda girl so I didn't spend much time outside but from what I saw, they have a large selection of outdoor plants. Their indoor plants and succulent display is wonderful. The greenhouse is very easy to navigate and the veggie and herb plants are displayed with a sign. When you get into the building, it becomes very exciting (at least for me...I get a little giddy). So many different items are offered including gardening tools, supplies, pots/planters, etc. They have little area of unique jewelry, plant books, and cute trinkets. It is the closest thing I get to a tj maxx home section, as many of us have been deprived of our favorite store because of covid-19. Briggs Nursery is the best of both worlds.

Yelp
Fantastic experience all around! From the iced coffee at the cafe that we carried through the beautiful gardens to the pricing and easy check out process. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, they helped find all of the trees, shrubs and flowers on our list in under 20 minutes!! And the quality and selection were a dream!! My mom and I plan to make this an annual trip!

Donna W.

Yelp
I spent an hour and a half there on Saturday just browsing their outdoor perennials. They have an amazing assortment, all beautifully organized. It was a pleasure to shop there.

Yelp
I am obsessed with Briggs Nursery. They have an amazing variety of plants and local goods, the pottery is cute and unique, and the cafe food is DELICIOUS. I live for the the honey crisp sandwich. Not to mention the staff is super friendly and always helpful. Wish it was closer to me, but it makes it a nice treat when I do get a chance to go.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice place to walk around and look at all the pretty things. They have a large store connected to the nursery & a pretty impressive cafe. They have a greenhouse with beautiful flowers and a outside walk area with all varieties of flowers, bushes and trees.

Yelp
I love everything about this place and sometimes I don't even come to buy anything ! I just come to walk around the beauty of it and to have a lovely sandwich and coffee in their cafe !

Yelp
I've gone to Briggs a couple of times throughout the year and have never had an issue. One thing I love about them is that they stand by their plants. If something doesn't grow or an evergreen goes brown, they'll give you a refund. However, be prepared for a fight to get that refund. I bought a dozen or so evergreen plants from them this past spring. This fall, they started to brown. I gave a call to Briggs and they mentioned that as long as I had the credit card I purchased it with they'd be able to give me a refund. She told me to bring in a photo and show it to the cashier and they'd take care of it. So I went outside, took a photo and headed to Briggs. Upon arriving, there was a group of workers casually gossipping by the cash registers outside. I was the only one in line and they just glared at me. Didn't acknowledge me at all. Finally, a different cashier freed up. When I told her the situation she mentioned that i'd have to ask one of the guys who blatantly ignored me. So, I went over. I was kind and simply said "the woman over there said..." and before I could even finish my sentence, one of the men said "UH 6 FEET, 6 FEET, BACK UP PLEASE!" And the other co-workers started to giggle. He wasn't joking either. He was rude and honestly very cocky. I had a mask on, I was pretty distant from the group, but yet he was outstandingly rude. I showed him a photo of the plant and explained my situation. He continued to be rude and said "WELL, DO YOU HAVE A RECEIPT?" I explained to him that the woman over the phone said all they'd need is my CC. He was baffled and said "HUH. WELL, YEAH IF YOU HAVE A BANK STATEMENT"...I was flawed. I've never been to a business that's asked to see my bank statement. Does they have a record of all their purchases? I mentioned to him that I didn't have a paper copy but I could show him the charge on my phone. He then waved his hand at me and said "lets just see if we have those plants still..." In the end, they did end up giving me a gift card for my purchase. However, they also lost a customer in the process. If you're going to stand by your return policy, stand by it. Don't give people a hard time, don't be rude to them, don't be cocky. It seems he didn't need to see my bank statement or even a photo of the plant, he was just keen on giving me a hard time. I'm sorry Briggs, but this was NOT ok!

Yelp
Absolutely one of the best in the area as far as one of the nicest nurseries you will ever visit. The place is huge and has rows and rows of plants and flowers and trees and shrubs. They have the widest selection of garden gifts and paraphernalia you will ever come across. Be prepared however with a great selection to open your walled since this place is not cheap, however the quality and selection beat the Lowes down the street and the staff is friendly and helpful and its just an all around cool place to visit. They even have a large cafe in the back to grab a snack or lunch which is cool!
google avatar

Victoria R.

Yelp
Fabulous place my jaw dropped when I walked through the entrance a really beautiful store. The color selection s of pots and everything displayed so well .Great variety of plants and our sandwiches and coffee superb. Can't wait to take my friends, I wish I'd discovered it sooner.

Yelp
I could spend days just wandering in circles in this place. It's the perfect remedy for a gloomy winter day. Inside it's bright, beautiful, and full of gorgeous HEALTHY plants and charming planters and trendy decor accessories. I drove out from Boston for the reviews and found just what I needed- the tree of my dreams - fiddle leaf fig for a great price- half of the cost at Mahoney's or Jordan's jungle. Incredibly not a single leaf has dropped since the move to my apartment - very unusual for a ficus as the gate changing locations. They did a great job wrapping it for the ride and tolerated my indecision about which to buy with class :p thanks to The quality of plant care at Briggs I feel like a green thumb and get to see this beauty every day.

Yelp
I want to deduct a star for being on the pricey end, as far as garden centers go. But I can't. Holy mother of zen-meets-magical gardening possibility. God help you if you're on a tight schedule, because 1. you will forget all woes as you wander around, lost in day dreams 2. The staff is knowledgeable and takes the time you need. What?! Beautiful displays for inspiration Tons of flowers and veggies Huge selection including less common plants Landscaping, birding, patio supplies And a legit cafe in the middle of the store. Will this be the only garden place I go from now on? No, only because I can't afford it. But I suggest you visit this place, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Had a lovely day at Brigg's today. My first attempt to eat out.Delicious lunch. With this beautiful weather we were able to eat outside .The place is so beautifully decorated. My friend Jan and I felt like we were in Florida.Very surprised to see we had been there for 4 hours , it is a place you can get lost in !
google avatar

Elon C.

Yelp
This is nearly everything I've wanted in a garden center! Big variety of healthy gorgeous plants for sale. Interesting pots and planters. I will definitely be back for more. Do they have classes? That's the only thing more I'd want.
google avatar

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
I little Yatzy a little overpriced. I've been there couple times and there's only one person who usually serves. If they're going to be a café they need more variety. But I do like when they have a craft fair there is one my favorite craft fairs.

Alex M.

Yelp
Bad service; a bunch of people standing around avoiding offering to help. Even when asking for help they will just carry on talking. As others have pointed out, it's overpriced and the quality is no better than Lowe's.

Amanda L.

Yelp
I am as amateur to gardening as you can get but wanted to try it out. Had no idea where to even start so I picked a couple of things that I wanted to grow. From there, Steven helped me grab everything else I needed - the correct size planter pot things and soil, etc. he was so patient and helpful, thanks Steven!
google avatar

Zachary M.

Yelp
Great customer service. Had a small issue with one of the tree I bought. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for your gardening needs
google avatar

Yelp
Pure bliss! We recently moved to the area and got started on our garden. I find the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. A very nice man helped us to pick out several plants that would work well in our dry terrible soil. Everything he recommended is thriving. Now that it is winter and we have snow, we are enjoying the winterberry and red branch dogwood bushes that he helped us to select. We keep going back, especially if the house needs something special. We went back last month to get our Christmas wreath. They have a train set and loads of beautiful decorations, it was a treat to go.
google avatar

Cindi S.

Yelp
A local favorite. This is a beautiful family friendly greenhouse with a indoor cafe that offers so much more than gardening supplies! The cafe has a selection of made to order panini pressed sandwiches and a display of baked goods. The girls taking the orders are always so kind. Recommended sandwiches: The "Paisan" or "Italian Hottie" - both are $7.95 Added bonus: dog friendly! 5/5 for service, atmosphere, food prices & quality

Gabriela N.

Yelp
Food is delicious! And plants are beautiful! They also have the best little decoration pieces and notebooks.
google avatar

Diane M.

Yelp
This place is off the chain gorgeous! Andrew, who I'd spoken to on the phone, helped me with my dying plant. While he repotted, I looked around. The place is pure eye candy for one's garden. I saw a beautiful windmill, which I plan on buying when I hit the lottery.
google avatar

Arianne Victoria A.

Yelp
Woah huge selection of plants! From flowers to shrubs to trees, inside and outside. They also sell indoor and outdoor furniture. And to top it off, you can spend the day here since it's so big. But you get hungry or thirsty? They have amino cafe inside that sells fresh meals and coffee or lemonade. It's a cute little area to spend your day for the garden and landscape home lovers.
google avatar

Steven C.

Yelp
This nursery blows away all others within 30 miles....possibly more. Forget the big box stores..who wants boring azealeas and rhodoendrons..come here and get that special plant. Need a big tree? got it. Small tree? got that too. Bonsai tree? fuck yes! Rows of evergreens, Daylillies, perennials, annuals, rock garden creepers of every shade..even moss! A bit higher in price, but you will find what you need so your yard doesn't look like the gas station "garden".
google avatar

Leanne G.

Yelp
I went here after darting away from the forklift guy at Boston Tropical Tree. Walking into Brigg's is like entering a flowery oasis, probably because it is a flowery oasis. It is such a restful experience that if you overspend on plants, you can just pretend you spent a few hours at the spa to justify it. All kidding aside, they have an excellent variety of very happy plants, which all have labels so if you have more of a green pinkie than thumb, you can figure out how big they get, how much sun they need, their favorite pastimes, etc. They are no huge value, but I do think the quality is worth the cost and didn't find them overpriced, either. Brigg's also has a nice looking selection of garden decor, watering cans, and other accessories, which I will definitely have to check out when I go back.
google avatar

Christine P.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite places to go for all of our planting needs. They are pricey, but well worth it. Great quality, and they guarantee any of their bushes or trees for one year. The grounds are impressive and the building has a great variety of little gift items, and an ice cafe. The hanging plants we buy here right before Mother's Day have been HUGE and lasted us all summer, and were only $5 more than your big chain stores. Again, totally worth it. Every time we've asked questions or needed advise, their attentive staff has helped. We have purchased a dozen bushes, a treet, and probably hundreds of annuals here and we have never, ever had a problem. This past Christmas we went here for our tree and it was great! They had santa inside, we got some hot chocolate, and then went out to pick out tree. Again, it was a little more pricey than elsewhere, but it was cut fresh and lasted a long time. This is going to be our Christmas Tree ritual every year. There are few places like Brigg's that I've seen and even fewer that you can recommend whole-heartedly with no reservations. This is one. A total gem!

Yelp
Beautiful nursery with a large selection of plants. We were surprised by how big the place was! It was a great weekend outing. We also had breakfast at the cafe first and the food was very yummy!
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Ok, they have a nice selection of flowers and trees but they are just ridiculously overpriced. I have banned my husband from going here when he paid nearly $200 for 4 potted plants. Down the street I got like 3 for $20. Same quality, size and product. Not paying inflated prices when you can get the same down the street. Don't get me wrong, the selection here is massive and the quality is excellent, but I can't justify the prices.
google avatar

Jimmy A.

Yelp
This place isn't the cheapest to buy your plants but they are the best looking. The place is huge and There's a lot of staff to help you pick out things and give advice. There's also a cafe inside with coffee and pastries.
google avatar

Johnny S.

Yelp
You have to check out the cafe while here. Great coffee and light food. This would be a great back drop for a wedding with all the amazing flowers and charm. i just might have to inquire about that!

Jeff S.

Yelp
Very good selection of plants to choose from is probably their biggest positive. I'm not a landscaper by trade, nor a horticulturist. When I go to a nursery I have a minimum expectation of being able to ask an employee some basic questions. When I found someone to ask, the information was so so rushed I felt like I was interrupting them. I've received more useful answers from YouTube. I have a deer population where I live and was asking if there were any plants or shrubs that were resistant to deer and the response was 'You should by a fence'. Thanks Einstein.
