Where to find oyster bars in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"On the west side of town, Brigg’s Oyster Co. is a sleek little restaurant tucked inside Suncoast Casino. Brigg’s is known for periodic $1 oyster specials and specialty oysters. Diners can also order ahi tuna tacos, lobster or shrimp mac and cheese, asiago sole, and a wide selection of sushi including rolls, sashimi, and donburi. Takeout available." - Janna Karel

No wait time. Menu has a good selection. We've been here twice for dinner and I've had the pan roast and jambalaya. My dishes could've use a little more flavor. The broth was too bland for my taste. Skip adding the tiny shrimps and just use the large shrimp. Not a fan of soggy crackers so the pita cracker should be left on the side instead of in the dish.

Google
This please is a favorite when in Vegas. I love their bread and steamed clams. Plan to sit down and truly enjoy your meal here. Always pretty friendly service as well

Larry Berg

Google
Very tasty fresh oysters. Good sushi rolls. Great service. Excellent seafood ceviche. Nice comfortable atmosphere. A nice little bread basket was served before our meal. Fun place!

Google
This place was fantastic. My wife and I came here on a whim after hanging out at Boca Park because we were just going to try a random restaurant in the Sun Coast casino since they have a few new ones. It was a great find. We got clams, oysters, gumbo and some shrimp and crab pasta. Everything was very well made. I want to come back and try the Lobster Roll too. Even the fish and chips looked good. We sat right at the bar so we got ro see the chef cool right in front of us. Makes your mouth water.

Google
Lots of American sushi rolls, one or two kinds of oysters and quite a few good hot seafood dishes from the kitchen. Their main oysters are from Louisiana which I would not touch with a 10ft pole. Raw seafood from the filthy warm gulf? No thanks. You eat oysters from ice cold ocean water. They had some from Baja that I suspect were farm raised that were pretty good. Had a lobster Mac n cheese that was good but very short on lobster. Decent wine and beer list and friendly staff. Dollar oyster happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays but they're the gulf ones so caveat emptor.

Google
So this place is inside Suncoast hotel & casino. They often have a $1 oyster promo on Thursday's. Husband and I also tried one of the sushi rolls and the lobster mac & cheese. We were offered bread & butter while our food was being prepared... Cute place with foodie decor.... The staff was nice & attentive. The food was ok but not my go to choice for oysters or sushi. Just well enough if you were staying as a hotel guest...

Google
Ordered a Pan Roast to go, asked for it spicy…was basically unseasoned and the did not give me any rice with it.

Mieke De Vriendt

Google
We ordered Fried oysters, calamari, lobster sandwich and shrimp tempura roll. Everything was delicious!! Our waitress and the other staff was very nice! We will come back here for sure!

Yelp
If you are in the mood for fish & seafood, puhleese go no further than Briggs in the Suncoast. Its ambiance, despite the lack of sea water, is of a harbor back east, with plenty of counter space, booths & tables, & I like that the TVs for game watching are not in your face. We are frequent diners in this restaurant capitol of America & find that no oyster bar features a menu close to this: of everything fresh tasting, like sushi, 2 chowders, pan roast, Cioppino, seafood cobb, filet of sole, salmon, shrimp scampi, lobster roll, the best fish tacos & fish fries, & voila! The best coleslaw in town (& this Wisconsin girl knows), a basket of various rolls, & what could be the secret to their great steak fries? Most of the happy staff has been with them for many years; and we get the feeling it's the place where everyone still knows your name. And, I might add, the prices are decent for anyone's budget. We arrived at 5:00 on Sun. for my partner's 75th birthday (where we chose to celebrate mine last year) & people were already arriving. My birthday boy chose the fish & chips w/steak fries & coleslaw, & I had the ample Shrimp & Crab Louis which none other can beat. Briggs has a good liquor selection (incl. Sake) & I chose Kendall-Jackson's chardonnay. To top off this divine culinary experience, Briggs brought out a terrific chocolate birthday cake. And now, what else could we want?

Yelp
eaten here once before and ordered the lobster Mac n cheese and the fish and chips , this time I ordered the Mac again and the fish tacos. The Mac and cheese is pretty good , hence why I ordered it again . They literally put old fried broken pieces in my to go order. Bad attitudes at counter - 9 is closing not 8:45

Yelp
New Prices Updates: yikes Food: great delicious selections from seafood cioppino, pan roast to selections of sushi rolls. If you crave raw oysters, you can get them here. Very fresh! Fishermen Pier style selections of seafood dishes from crab, lobster, shrimp, clam chowder.... Service: attentive staff goes above beyond to provide great customer service Ambience: the place has a counter bar that is the focal point with some side booth. It can get busy with long lines.

Yelp
New chef has no idea how to prepare the best item on the menu. My pan roast was a watery waste of money. The alarm went off in their restaurant so the atmosphere while eating was terrible. I lost faith in the dining at Suncoast. Briggs Oyster Co. is a bullshit business.

Yelp
***1st experience*** NO OYSTER HAPPY HOUR SPECIALS... Google search/yelp is not updated and shows this place for oyster happy hour. Seated immediately for 4 on weekday once they opened. FOOD: Calamari (meat is thin), Lobster Mac & Cheese (RECOMMEND FOR ANY CHEESE LOVERS), 1/2 dozen reg. oysters and 1/2 doz specialty oysters (from Washington), Seafood Chowder, Shrimp & Crab Pasta (I liked this!), Tiger Sushi Roll and Brigg's Cioppino. SERVICE from everyone was BEYOND expected. Personable company with their customers were obvious. Workers take the time to serve you correct which is ever so rare. If I lived closer I would still come back for their regular half shell oysters

Yelp

Yelp
Getting 2 stars only for the service. The quality of the seafood is awful. I ordered the Ciopoino and it was supposed to include lobster, scallops and squid and it came with none of that. Manager is a jerk but our waitress was awesome , be ready to pay for shrimp that look like my picture $30. So not worth it, but again our waitress was very nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Large portions at great prices! Their lobster rolls are the closest I've found to the east coast. The order comes with two hefty lobster nice toasty rolls with wedge potatoes to accompany them. The Cioppinno is the best in town! Lobster, large shrimps, and a massive portion with just enough pasta or white rice. This is a spot with variety that closes Sunday and Monday. Their chicken Alfredo is what brings many people back. Raw oysters, Sushi, Fish tacos and clam chowder all in one place! Service keeps locals coming back on a weekly and daily basis.

Yelp
Exceptional experience at Briggs Oyster! The steamers were an absolute highlight, bursting with freshness. The chef's touch of spice upon request elevated the flavors. The accompanying sauce was a delightful surprise, prompting me to indulge in some bread-dipping magic. The sushi roll boasted warm, freshly made rice, and the overall care from the attentive waiter and chef added a wonderful touch to the dining experience. Not to be overlooked, the fish taco was equally impressive. Five stars without a doubt!

Yelp
The shrimp and crab pasta was the best pasta I've ever had! Staff were very warm and inviting.

Yelp
We have been twice. This last time we ordered the calamari, which was cooked perfectly. They also serve bread and butter while you wait for your food. For food we got two rolls I believe the rainbow roll and dragon roll. Both were delicious. The first time were hot items like the pan roast and fish and chips. All have been good. Will come back.

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp in Las Vegas, I invited my daughter to eat oysters and asked her where was a good place and she said she didn't know. We went here because it had 6 stars on Yelp. They have a good selection and we tried 3 different types. My wife ordered fish and chips and the fish was delicious I ordered the clam chowder bowl and it also was delicious. To be honest I don't remember what my daughter ordered but she liked it. Next time back to Vegas we will definitely be back.
google avatar

Kris K.

Yelp
I had the fish and chips & a bowl of clam chowder. They both were delicious. The Fish & Fries were fried perfectly. Both are good portions so you could share with someone if you're not a big eater. The price is reasonable & they have friendly service. I'd recommend & will be back.

Yelp
Remembered this place being open now so decided to check it out for dinner and we liked it so much we went back 5 days later. Thought it was strange that for a place with "oysters" in its name that they only had one special the first time, but had two the other night, Kumamoto being one of them. Of course I had to get a half dozen of the Kumamotos. They were smaller than what I'm used to (they're pretty small to begin with) but they were tasty. I think it was just under $19 for 6 of them, but still worth it. Husband got the fish and chips both times and was very happy with the dish. I got the linguine with clams the first time, and the seafood Cobb salad the second time. Do get the linguine with clams - soooo much clam! I had clams left over after I finished the noodles. And yes, I ate every last bit of the clams. Skip the Cobb... iceberg lettuce, with shrimp and crabmeat - guessing blue crab because it didn't have any crab flavor. I was actually thinking of asking for salt because it was very bland, even with the blue cheese dressing. Realized our waitress forgot to give us bread the first time. She remembered this time and they were pretty tasty. Oh, their margarita is goooood. No gross margarita mix, just lime and triple sec. And at only $8, it's a gosh darn good deal! Food and service was 4.5 both times but bumping it up to 5 due to its location (5min. from home) and the fact that we were able to walk in and get seated immediately.

Yelp
Had one of my favorite dinners here on my recent trip. Located inside the Suncoast Hotel, it was closed the first few days we were there, and we eagerly awaited Tuesday when it reopened. Expected to have sushi, when I saw the seafood stew on the menu I was hooked. So was my son. It was full of crab, lobster, scallops and was in a rich tomato broth. The complimentary bread made this a comfort meal. We both left full and happy. Price was very reasonable for quality. Already looking forward to my next trip here!

Cindy S.

Yelp
The service, food and atmosphere was great. Vanessa was our server and she was amazing. The food was cooked and served perfect. This was our first time to eat here but definitely will not be our last. We had the calamari which was delicious. My husband had the pan roast and he said it was the best he's ever had. I had the Australian bass and it was so good. Loved this restaurant.

Yelp
I've been to Brigg's a number of times but never placed a review, until now. The capacity of Brigg's is quite normal of the Oyster bars you'd see in Las Vegas. The service was good and staff was friendly. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and it didn't disappoint. It wasn't overly sauced and the shrimp was cooked just right. And the portion was just the right amount food. Now, I just wish they would bring back a the Happy Hour they had previously.
google avatar

Von J.

Yelp
Just wow - the food is amazing. Fresh, flavorful and they will add or omit items as requested. I suggest the Pan Roast or Seafood Chowder. Our server Jonathan was amazing! Entire staff was Attentive, personable and even though they were busy service didn't suffer. The place is cute and quaint only complaint they aren't open 7 days a week.
google avatar

Kelly N.

Yelp
Haven't been here for a very long time. Went for diner, and the place wasn't busy. Only about 6 people sitting at the bar area. Which was great because we got seated right away, and we were hungry. We ordered oysters & calamari for appetizer. The cioppino was very disappointing, mainly a bunch of white fish & baby and tiny shrimps. Hardly any other seafood that this dish usually have. The waitstaff was friendly, but The food was ok. Probably why it isn't as busy as it use to be. How unfortunate
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
OMG, that's what you'll say after dining at this Las Vegas local diamond. The fish is beyond fresh and the staff are second to none. We visit almost every other week just to see Glen and partake in his original dishes and sushi creations. The atmosphere is awesome and you will definitely feel like family upon the end of your dining experience. Glen and Bobby have become my favorite stop when up the Northwest part of the valley. It is well worth stop and you will not be disappointed. My favorite and a must order is the yellow tail sashimi, oysters and during this last visit Glen introduced me to the Chioppino an Italian seafood soup. Chao bella, mixed with a little Asian fusion- you need to check it out.... Mahalo braddah Glen and crew...
google avatar

Lance H.

Yelp
Service was excellent as well as the food. Everything here has always been consistent. Employees are friendly even though they are super busy. I always change up my menu and have never been disappointed. Had the Rigatoni Diablo and it was seasoned perfect, nice little kick. Oysters on the half shell were fresh and did not disappoint. Definitely will be back!
google avatar

William G.

Yelp
Oysters were just OK. Nothing outstanding. Service sucked. The employees just stood around and talked to themselves. Cesar salad had way to much dressing on it. The fish had way to mush breading on it. More breading than fish. Will not return.

Yelp
Brigg's has always been my favorite spot to eat, food is great and staff is amazing , always friendly .! But lately I've seen the lack of management not doing their part . I was there today and don't have words of how overwhelmed the staff is by not having enough employees, not organizing or being around to help .! I'm at Brigg's at least once week and never seen a manager around to tell them how great the staff is .! 5 star for the staff .! 0 for management.

Pete B.

Yelp
Tonight at roughly 8:00 PM we order two of the Shrimp and crab Louie's. Shrimp was soft and crab not fresh and lettuce was a bit on the wilted side. It wasn't terrible but it was far from being special. Bread was nothing special either.
google avatar

Eva M.

Yelp
The best!! The food is amazing and everyone that works there is great!! Martin, Bobby, & Glenn are all awesome cooks - Glenn killing it on the sushi - and they're all very nice and super welcoming when you walk up. They never forget a face! I'm always so surprise at how many people they greet by name. Luis always provides the best service as well. You can't go wrong here. 10/10

Sta M.

Yelp
Mashed potatoes cold, bass tasted like a refrigerator, shells in my teeth from the pan roast, salad missing ingredients, lobster roll fell apart before halfway through it...all bad.
google avatar

Greg M.

Yelp
Started with some bread. Happy at the start. Dragon roll is very good. Would have been a 4-star if I stopped there. Shrimp cocktail was not very good at all. Sauce is terrible. I will not return.

Yelp
Came here about a year ago and thought the food was average. I'm really not a fan of oysters. However, my husband is and said that the oysters here were pretty good. The last time I was here, they had bacon wrapped shrimp, which was on their specials menu. They tasted pretty good, especially with the spicy sauce that it came with (don't remember what it was called). But they did go overboard with the amount of green beans that they threw on the plate. Also ordered the Mac and Cheese, which was decent, but nothing special. We returned for a second visit the other night. This time I decided to be adventurous and ordered the Pan Roast since I keep reading about it in other yelpers reviews. What a disappointment! The dish was one small scoop of white rice, four shrimps and a ridiculous amount of that tomato/brandy cream sauce. I could barely taste the shrimp, lobster and crab because the sauce was just too rich and overpowering! They really need to tone it down and maybe serve it in a smaller bowl with two scoops of rice instead, although I'm not even sure that will make it better. We also shared the Mac and Cheese with Lobster, which was ok but a little on the salty side. Service has always been friendly and the wait time for the food is fairly quick. Probably won't be returning. I saw that they also have sushi on the menu, but I'm pretty sure it won't live up to my expectations.

Yelp
Well hello Brigg's!! So glad we chose to go here on Saturday. Got there around 6 and I guess got lucky because we were seated right away. Everyone had a mask on, the place was super clean and busy. We were greeted right away by our really nice server (forgot his name). Ordered Peroni on draft (big plus), rainbow roll and the oysters for an app. It came out really quick and holy smokes--those oysters were huge, creamy and delicious! I should have ordered 2 dozen. The rainbow roll was also really good, ordered it without salmon but they forgot to remove it. It was fine, just ate around it. They also brought a pretty good bread basket. We ordered the cioppino with a side of pasta and fish tacos for our meals. The cioppino was loaded with fish and the broth was delicious. The fish tacos were also some of the best I have had. Would def. order both items again. They only had 2 dessert choices-- cheesecake and some kind of crunch cake. If they would have had a mudd pie or key lime pie I would have ordered both. The menu was really small and I am sure that is due to Covid. Reading through some of the older reviews, it looked like they used to have a lot of delicious things. I will probably wait to return until the menu is bigger. I would have loved to try that lobster mac n cheese or bouillabaisse.

Yelp
Excellent lobster roll that comes with French fries and slaw. The pan roast is so tasty. We always have great service here too!

Wei Chieh C.

Yelp
This place is amazingly good! They have such great service, all the staffs were friendly and attentive. I am not a drinker but I have to say, the Hana Fuji apple sake is great, it's definitely for girls who can't drink much but like to have some sweet drinks to go with the food, even for a non drinker like me; it was tasty. We came in here after the movie so we were not too hungry, we ended up ordering their pan roast and the seafood chowder, the pan roast is very rich in flavor and they are not cheap on the ingredients, shrimps tasted fresh and we got a huge chunk of lobster with a good amount of crab meat in it, for $24.99; it was definitely worth it. We also love their seafood chowder, it's more creamy than the pan roast and full of seafood in it (shrimps, crabs, scallops) our chef Bobby did a phenomenal job on cooking our food, we were very satisfied!
google avatar

Yelp
Let's just say that I've been here three times in less than 30-days. The only thing that I've ordered is the pan roast. I've been to four different oyster bars in Vegas and tried the pan roast. For me, Brigg's has thee best pan roast in town. However, if you are allergic to seafood, you'll need to go elsewhere as the pan roast is loaded with real crab meat, shrimp and lobster. The bread basket includes three different types. One of my favorites is the olive roll. There are real olives in it. Freshly baked so you have to wait a minute for it to cool down before grabbing one. It's a smaller restaurant and a busy one. So you need patience to ensure your order is perfectly prepared. My niece ordered the shrimp linguini. Not a large serving like other places, but she liked it a lot. On a previous visit, my sister ordered the special for that night which included shrimp, tilapia and lobster. After 4-weeks she's still talking about it. It was that good. I love the modern ?farmhouse? decor. It looks so clean with all the white gleaming subway tiles. There are TVs in the restaurant so you can watch your favorite team playing. Each visit has been a great experience. 5-stars for Brigg's!

Yelp
Last night I had the worst lobster roll I've ever had in Las Vegas. It was just tiny pieces of lobster

Yelp
Too good, the service here is amazing everyone helps each other from the front to the back of the kitchen and it shows. We love it here. 2 tvs to watch the games at the bar.

Yelp
Ok, ok, ok...I think Brigg's was closer to a 3.5, really. But it was a good "snack" meal for us. We walked in around 5pm and there were a surprisingly good # of people already in the restaurant but no wait until a little bit later. Surprisingly, it seemed like a lot of locals and/or regulars come here. Hubby and I ended up getting a dozen kumiai oysters which were their "special" of the day. Oysters ended up being good and fresh...except whoever shucked them did not do a good job. Every single oyster had lots of shell debris in it. You're supposed to rinse that ish out! They also didn't flip the oysters but that matters less. Subsequently, I went with the highly recommend fish tacos. They were average+ but extremely messy to eat. The sauces and slaw didn't contribute much but the fish were freshly fried and that went a long way. Hubby ordered a shrimp and crab pasta of some sort. The flavor was great and the seafood was plentiful. It just seemed a little oversauced. Hubby enjoyed it while I only took one bite. Just a little too rich for my taste. Everyone was pretty friendly. They got really busy so our server sort of disappeared on us. Thankfully another server was able to close us out and get us out of there in time for our gambling activities. Not sure I would seek to come here if I were a local. However, if you're staying in the hotel, it's definitely one of the better (and more affordable) options. Cheers!

J H.

Yelp
If not aware of what good fresh fish is, perhaps this place makes 'you' happy. It was a disappointment to us. We started with oysters. Absolutely no flavor what-so-ever so must be farmed. Eventually we were given the bread and butter. Tasted a bit undercooked - and butter was frozen and salted. Shrimp cocktail - 4 (??) served on a plate. Absolutely no flavor what-so-ever so again, must be farmed. People to the left of us had clam chowder soup - said it was ok - not great, just ok. The people to our right had shrimp scampi on linguini. He picked out all the shrimp and only ate the linguini - said the shrimp were too rubbery. The server was pleasant and did his best.
google avatar

Bonnie Y.

Yelp
We were close by, wanted pot roast, wanted oysters, didn't want to wait in line for over an hour at least, so we came here.... It was alright. Oysters were OK, pot roasts were kinda watered down, our server dropped a plate onto my plate and broke both plates.... and spilled waters all over when she tried to refill our waters. Won't come back. But it's a diff an alternative choice for some locals.

Yelp
TGIF! My Boyfriend and I decide to try Brigg's Oyster. Spot is located in Summerlin inside the Suncoast Station Casino. ( First time going to this place) We got there about 6 ish p.m. Once we got there we were seated right away. Did not have to wait very long. The Layout is very open space. Big bar around the restaurant. Its the biggest Oyster Bar by far I have seen. Our waitress, Annie, very nice, attentive and intuitive with us. Did not have to ask to have our drinks refilled and very patient with us, especially with the menu. Browsing through the menu, I notice they have sushi on the menu. I question why put sushi on the menu?? I think it strays away from the concept of an "Oyster Bar." Does not make sense to me. Sushi belongs to a Sushi or Asian theme restaurant. ( Just my opinion) For Appetizers, ordered the Steam Clams, which was good. My boyfriend mentioned the broth had a "kick" to it. ( very good sign that it was good). Then I ordered the Crab cakes which was good. For our entrees, my boyfriend had the Shrimp and Crab pasta. It was very heavy on the cheese so he did not enjoy his meal or even touch it. Recommend not to put too much cheese on the pasta. Pasta should stand alone. I ordered the Asiago Sole, a breaded fish with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans. The mashed potatoes was very bland. The breaded fish was just OK. Nothing special to it. Our waitress, Annie saw that we did not even touch our meals and very kind enough to comp us 1 meal. She was great working with us and took care of our needs without even asking. Overall our experience was just OK. Most of the stars went to Annie's service and the layout of the place. Would I come back here? Maybe.

Yelp
This oyster bar place not even has Oysters Rockefeller that is a common item at a Oyster Bar and they have a Seafood Pan Roast that is expensive over $30 and it's terrible, it has precooked shrimp with corn starch spongy and chewy, the sauce is all tomato sauce without cream and chicken broth. I am sure the Chef haven't tried otherwise he will not serve this cheat plate, just unflavored distasteful.

Yelp
We had the oysters on the half shell as our starter and they were perfectly prepared and served on an icy cold platter, delicious! We weren't super hungry so we each had a bowl of their soup, the Clam Chowder and and Seafood Chowder. Both were tasty and satisfying This is a nice corner restaurant with great staff and friendly service inside the Suncoast Casino. We were going to a movie after dinner and this spot ended up being the perfect prequel for a night at the movie.

Yelp
We decided to try out this Oyster bar this evening. We arrived and the hostess asked if we wanted the bar or a table. We figured we would be able to interact with the employees a little more at the counter. There was one party at a table and the restaurant was otherwise empty. The waitress immediately asked us what we wanted to drink. We then ordered a dozen Oysters on the half shell. That was the best part of the meal!! They were good sized and shucked properly. My husband then ordered a seafood stew. This is the only pan roast or stew they offer except for Cioppino. The pan roast is no longer offered. We watched the chef make it. The entire time the chef was flirting with the waitress. Even though we were less than 2 feet away, not once did he even acknowledge us. He finished the soup taking a few times out to laugh and talk with the waitress. The waitress then lifted it up on the counter for my husband. My husband wasn't impressed with the quality of the seafood. I had ordered the seafood cobb salad. The quality of the lettuce was pretty bad. It was chopped in to tiny pieces and was dry. The shrimp was fine was tasteless as well. The bacon was good. And the hard boiled egg was nonexistent. My husband ordered a dessert that had obviously been sitting in a refrigerator and was compressed from the plastic wrap that was placed on it until it was served. For $73 we were not impressed! Also the music they play is quite loud for such a small place. This place is very over rated.

We love this place, staffs are very friendly. Our sushi guy Glenn is the bomb! And oh dont forget to try Bobbie's chowder soup its super!!!

Yelp
It really looks like a nice place with great seafood - beautiful decor, a large bar and open airy space at one end of the casino where the restaurants are. The hostess was great, we were seated promptly. We got a waitress who was new and it was her 2nd or 3rd day, so service was a bit slow and spotty, but we gave her a break when she got our order all wrong. Didn't put in the order for the chicken linguine but put in one for clam instead, didn't deliver the chowders or soups. I ordered hamachi (yellowtail), but wanted the sushi and got the sashimi. I also ordered a shrimp cocktail, imagining nice chilled jumbo shrimp, but received four kind of large (but not jumbo) sad shrimp on a bed of lettuce. No ice, no celery, no lemon, just a ramekin of cocktail sauce. For $14.00? The hamachi was sad and old, not fresh and cold and buttery. And then, sadly, my dining mate's seafood chowder was filled with broken shells and bay leaves. It seemed like they blitzed the crab and lobster shells and bayleaves all together with the chowder. Plus it wasn't seasoned. My boyfriend complained and ask to take it off the bill. But when the bill arrived, it was still on there. Dishes weren't cleared, bread wasn't replenished. Sure, we forgive the new waitress and the spotty service, but the food just wasn't great, and overpriced for what it was. Although my friend ordered oysters and she said they were pretty good. That's one good thing.

Yelp
On a visit to Suncoast, we popped in here about 1/2 hour before close. This is a small casual venue with about half the seating at the oyster bar. Although there was much end-of-day activity, we still had acceptable service and food. The clam chowder was pretty good, as was my linguine and clams. I counted 8 medium in-shell clams, but there was also chopped clams throughout. The warm bread served reminded me of Hawaiian rolls. I would have preferred simple crusty sourdough. The sushi roll was okay, but the rice was a touch dry. Friendly prices and good experience overall.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner the other day I've never been there inside the sun coast Briggs oyster bar. I ordered six oysters on the half shell, seafood soup. service was very good. But what was not good what is the six oysters. Every single oyster had shell in it I really couldn't eat it. I saw the server he was the one who shucked the oysters. You would think that they would have a cook or sushi chef, who shucks the oysters so that they would not get oyster pieces of shell in the food. Oysters also were extremely small the smallest I've ever had, and I've had oysters in many different places here in Vegas. The seafood soup was fantastic was great seafood soup. The bread that they bring you when you first sit down was awful just regular dinner rolls that you would buy at the store shelf. You would also expect a good bread, but that didn't happen. The service was great. Luis did a fantastic job pricing was good. I would recommend it for this seafood soup, but definitely not oysters. I say this, so maybe the managers of the restaurant can make some changes I would like to go back again.

Yelp
Hard pass. I took my parents here when they were visiting us in Las Vegas because my mom was craving seafood. Big mistake. I was like, ok, they specialize in oysters - oysters are the namesake of this well-Yelped seafood establishment, these slippery little suckers should be fantastic! Welp...no, that's not the case. The oyster quality was definitely sub-par, especially considering the quality of oysters you can get all around the valley - and on happy hour, at a great price as well. EVERYTHING we had was either sub par or just "okay" and yes, we ordered all the recommended items. I dunno man, I don't get the hype around this place - it's not exceptionally good, exceptionally inexpensive, or even interesting. The ambience is just a casino restaurant, open to the main floor. TL;DR: skip it, go to Andiron's oyster happy hour or Hearthstone's $1 oyster Wednesdays.

Yelp
Went to have dinner here last night. You would expect it to be crowded for a Saturday night but it had very few customers. Sat down and waited 20 minutes for the waitress to show up and then it took another 20 minutes for the drinks to show. We were there almost an hour before the food was piecemealed out to the table. The manager walked around clueless. The food was terrible and had to send some of it back. I would not recommend Briggs Oyster to anyone and it should be closed to avoid embarrassing themselves with such terrible service and food quality.

Yelp
A small Oyster x Seafood restaurant inside Suncoast Casino. Went here for dinner and tried Oysters, Calamari, Pan Roast & Gumbo. Oysters were great! Tasted fresh and proper portions. Calamari was your standard fried squid with tartar dipping sauce. Pan Roast was good. Not on the level of oyster bar (palace station). I was hoping it would be =). Same style of pan roast tho. Always ask for the rice on the side. Gumbo was good but different than what im used to. Its a lighter version that isnt like the classic dark broth gumbo. Taste was still good. Parking is plenty at Suncoast so thats never a problem. The restaurant is small so there could be a short wait. Its a good alternative to Palace Station's Oyster Bar especially if you are craving Pan Roast. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Glad you're open again. Everyone still have great customer service and it's nice to see familiar faces behind the bar. Food is still good, kept the good quality and the guys behind the bar are all working hard. One suggestion is to have a small option for kids meal. I've gone here with 3 of my kids as they grew up and it's hard to pick a meal not too big for a child. We always have to take it to go because they can never finish it.
