This place is truly a home away from home. The owner, Hana, is among the most personable and delightful people I’ve ever met. The coffee is fantastic. They offer intriguing pourovers. Everything here is amazing. (My wife got the miso latte, and it wasn’t her favorite, although I’m sure the rest of the specialty drinks are at least worth trying). As for the vibes, it’s joyful and refreshing, yet filled with community. The vinyl DJ was mixing wonderfully and struck the perfect balance of volume for listening and conversation.

I took my first sip and didn’t even realize I said out loud, “Wow, that’s so good.” I had ordered a simple cold brew but anyone who knows coffee understands there’s nothing simple about cold brew. It takes time, precision, and a deep understanding of the craft. This place clearly gets it. Bright Coffee lives up to its name: a beautiful, inviting space with exceptional customer service and seriously impressive coffee. Thank you, Bright Coffee. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
Huge space inside with some couches, tables and chairs, and bar seating. Lots of natural light through the big windows on the front side of the space. Asian inspired menu with items like miso coffees etc. really enjoyed the iced miso coffee I got. Art gallery in the back. Lots of people studying inside but somewhat loud so might recommend headphones. Also not very many outlets for computers if needed

Google
I recommend the sesame latte with almond milk. It's so different and yummy. The latte's are not strong, but they're pretty. They do offer espresso if you're looking for something stiff. The pastries were perfect: soft, flaky with a slight resistance, balanced in sweetness and butter 🧈. The space is very open, which lends itself to a productive atmosphere. I will be back!

Google
I absolutely love this coffee shop! It has a cozy, vintage vibe with warm wooden floors, colorful retro furniture, and plenty of natural light streaming through large windows. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it perfect for both hanging out with friends or getting some work done 😌✨ What makes this spot stand out is how they support local artists by displaying their work, giving the space a creative touch. The plants and open layout add a relaxed, earthy feel that’s perfect for studying or unwinding. The staff are always friendly and fun to talk to, making you feel right at home. If you’re looking for great coffee, good vibes, and a place that celebrates local art, this is the place for you🥰

Google
The vibes here are always amazing. A great place to start off my morning! And the baristas are always so nice. 10/10 experience every time I come here. Banana milk latte and a kolache.

Andy Vo

Google
Best things here would def be the vibes that the place brings out. Very chill, lowkey, a great spot to hang out with a friend or 2. Their menu selection isn’t the most unique if you are looking for something special, but I wouldn’t recommend letting that stop you.

Anh Phan

Google
Really airy, bright & welcoming space! I thought the iced miso caramel latte wasn't strong enough & a bit too milky, but I'd recommend trying their coffee loaf (and I'm sure their other pastries are also tasty).

Yelp
Tried a seasonal drink. I love trying coffee shops latest drinks. I got the kissin Kate it was a sparkling americano with peach syrup. So light and refreshing it really highlighted the espresso. They often have changing art on the walls from everyday artists. The space is bright with a lot of natural lighting and plants. There were a lot of people just enjoying the space doing crochet and crafts. There are plenty of places to check out in the area aswell.

Yelp
Bright Coffee is my go to spot when I need to get some work done. The banana milk latte is so good definitely a must-try if you haven't had it yet! The space is open but heads up it can be tough to find a table if you don't get there early. While you wait for your order make sure to head to the back and check out the art wall it's full of cool pieces that add to the vibe.

Yelp
Situated on a busy corner on Blanco and amongst a bunch of antique shops and restaurants, you'll find Bright Coffee. On my first visit I didn't expect to get coffee. It was the afternoon after all!! But nothing draws me in faster than banana flavor. What the heck is on the Banana Milk Latte?! House made banana sauce?! Yes! The drink was amazing and reminds me a little bit of bananas in cereal milk. A lovely nostalgic memory. I couldn't finish the coffee since I had to sleep at some point and be able to work today. Lucky for me, I'll get to savor it for another day! I'll definitely be returning for another.

Yelp
This is a really neat coffee spot with a huge interior and a variety of places to sit inside. There were quite a few people in there studying though the atmosphere was somewhat loud so it may be a good idea to bring headphones. There were some couches, table and chairs, and bar seating. Cool menu with some Asian inspired coffees, small art display in the back. Would go again

Yelp
Cute shop with yummy coffee, perfect for studying and hanging out! I got one of their winter specials which was really good (I forgot what it was called but it was a pun on ferrero rocher) There are plenty of seats but it fills up around 2 hours after they open. I like the little gallery they have and they also have a lot of natural lighting coming in.

Yelp
So eagerly I have been waiting to try Bright Coffee, waiting for the right moment to pop up. I happened to escape work early before the Thanksgiving holiday break and decided this was my chance. I expected it to be spacious, but it felt quite grand. Bright is an adequate name for the cafe, but I would say it also felt airy and peaceful. The vibes were pleasant with various groups chatting and others working away at their laptops. The barista heartily welcomed me. I REALLY wanted to try a holiday beverage, but since it had taken me so long to visit I decided on their popular banana milk latte. I'm glad the flavor was lighter than banana milk that comes in a carton. I just wished I could taste more coffee. I would love to come back here and hang out for a while. Next time I will try another drink and ask for an extra shot. I'm looking forward to it!
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
The coffee was good! The coffee flavor was not overpowered by the milk. You can taste the beans! The employees are very friendly and welcoming. The merch is really cute. I like their logo. I didn't buy it this time, but I will definitely check it out next time! The space inside was really open and had nice, big windows! There are not that many tables available for studying, mainly couches and small tables for catching up. We went on a Saturday morning around 11 am, and there weren't many seats available. The whole right side of the store was an art gallery. So you can peruse the artwork while you are waiting for your order or sipping on your coffee.

Yelp
I was excited to come here because of all the great reviews, but I was very disappointed. I got the great pumpkin and it tasted very bad and almost bitter. I wasn't sure if it was just my taste buds so I had my mom try it and she also didn't like it. The service was great and there were so many people there so there is a reason why everyone likes it so much. They may have gotten the wrong thing but I will not come back.
google avatar

Eddy R.

Yelp
The banana milk latte is my new obsession. The size is perfect. I do wish I can get bigger but it only means I can come back and get another later on the day. Like the art wall section and baked goods. Overall a 5 star. It's a must try.
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely adore Bright Coffee. I've been coming here since they opened and it has remained my favorite here in San Antonio. The baristas are extremely knowledgeable and have always greeted me with a smile. I go pretty often so they know my name by now which also makes me feel nice! I recommend pretty much everything I have tried everything they have to offer. Please stop by!
google avatar

Jacquelyn C.

Yelp
The coffee here is alright in my opinion, but I love how open the space is and the service is quick and friendly. I got the black sesame latte with an espresso shot--and that may be why I did not like the drink so much. I also tried some of my friend's banana milk latte and melon latte which again were both alright to me. The melon had a bit of a refreshing taste to it.

Yelp
I am a coffee neophyte. When I do have coffee it is most often at weddings after cake, gas station offerings or instant. I have grown to expect the bitter aftertaste which typically accompanies my coffee choices. I'm here at Bright Coffee for a networking meeting. I decided on having a cup of drip coffee expecting the same old taste. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and no bitterness to my coffee purchase. I love the ample space of the coffee shop. Next to me is a physician having morning coffee with her elderly dad. A group of adult students are having a power study session in a corner, what I presume to be neighbors are meeting in two's and three's, parents with small children are having an outing together. This coffee shop is not only serving coffee but tying a community together. I will be back. Support small business as often as you can. #smallbiz, #smallbusiness, #brightcoffee, #sananto, #sanantonio

Gustavo R.

Yelp
A cool spot with interesting coffees!I had a black sesame coffee - HOWEVER! It didn't have caffeine. Still great! I also had a pistachio muffin. Kinda wished the mochi muffin was still an option, but nonetheless..... I settled and enjoyed what they had.
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
Love the vibes. It's a busy bright cafe with a small art gallery. Good coffee, great pastries. Perfect spot to sit and read. Busy area though and parking is an issue but it's worth it.
google avatar

Meg F.

Yelp
I've been here dozens of times and it's always top notch. The space is open and friendly, bright and cozy. Love the mismatched sofas and chairs and high industrial ceilings. It's great for meetings, working by yourself, or catching up with friends. The drinks are always delicious and high quality crafted by skilled and friendly baristas. The banana bread is reaaaallly good, especially if you ask for it to be warmed. You can also pick up some vegan breakfast tacos from La Plantaqueria on certain days while they last!
google avatar

Terrah L.

Yelp
My first time here and I'll definitely go back! Customer service was great. The staff was so much fun. I believe the barista that helped me was Tally (or Tallie) she was great and so much fun. I didn't even know pistachio milk was a thing and the staff told me about it. I had it in my matcha and it was delicious! I'd definitely come back and recommend it to everyone.
google avatar

Jen H.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this coffee shop! The decor, drinks, and food are terrific, and everyone was so friendly. The black sesame latte was yummy, but I think I'll stick to a coffee drink next time I visit. I also wanted to try a butter croissant, but they were sold out, so I settled for the next best thing--a tequila almond croissant, which is on the sweeter side. I think the sweet plus sweeter combo of the black sesame latte and the tequila almond croissant wasn't the most complimentary, so I hope the plain butter croissant isn't sold out next time I visit. I got lucky with a parking spot right out front, but I do imagine parking to be somewhat of a hassle if there are no open spots nearby.
google avatar

Tallya ..

Yelp
First time visiting here. I add a latte made with pistachio milk can't remember the name. It was delicious and so smooth! The pistachio muffin was amazing as well. The staff was very nice and I loved all of the local art work.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is nice! And I mean NOICE! Super clean and bright. A great atmosphere for a meeting or just getting some work done. The staff was super nice and helpful. Would love to come back for an event at some point. Just seems like a great place to hang, network, and make new connections. Thank you Tolly for your great service.

Yelp
Probably my favorite coffee shop in SA! Always consistent and delicious :) definitely try the melon or banana lattes, sooo yummy! The owner is also super sweet and always makes it a point to engage with customers. Pretty big interior space as well so usually plenty of seating.
google avatar

Luke G.

Yelp
Coffee was good. Service was lacking a little. When asking about the menu this one dude with long curly hair looked at me like I was the dumbest person on earth lol he was very short with me too.
google avatar

Tyler W.

Yelp
Cute, local, friendly baristas, and fun art. Couldn't ask for much more in a coffee spot! They have a great selection of drinks from your typical espresso drinks to eclectic combinations that you don't normally see at other spots. I love to open space and industrial building that this resides in. We got the banana milk latte and a specialty called figgy pudding I believe. Both were great!
google avatar

Noah H.

Yelp
Coffee: awesome Vibes: great, clean open concept But I wish they were open later and hosted more events in their unique space! One of my favorite spots to study or for a morning pick-me-up.

Joey L.

Yelp
Ube latte and vanilla lattes were delicious. Baristas were super friendly and San was great. Can't wait to go back and try more!
google avatar

Stefany V.

Yelp
Three words for you: Black. Sesame. Latte. It's exactly what I came here for and exactly what you need - the fusion flavor latte is unique and not too sweet, and I really enjoyed this iced with coconut milk. My order was out fast and the barista was friendly. Location is a little difficult to find due to limited exterior signage but the interior is spacious and comfortable, with seating arrangement vignettes and small tables. The midcentury furniture and live plants are just my vibe and I felt right at home here. It was really quiet when I went by on a weekday, probably a good spot to knock out some work on a laptop or catch up with a friend. Bonus points to the staff, who offered me a drip coffee to go - apparently I came by right before closing and had no idea. I didn't see hours posted by the door, and they're not listed on Yelp, so maybe check social media ahead of time before trekking across town.

Yelp
Friendliest staff and very tasty coffee. Recommend the seasonal drink What The Cuss.. delicious!

Yelp
Bright Coffee is the brain child of two lindy-hop lovin' coffee fiends. It is the epitome of chic, cool, and artistic. I love how versatile the space is: by day, the open plan of the studio acts as a calm environment for those looking for a space to quietly read, study, or have a casual meeting. By night, you're looking at an amazing venue for swing dancing, whether it be lessons or a weekly dance. I can personally vouch that the fine folks at San Antonio Swing Dance Society, Puro Swing, and the various other organizations that call Bright Coffee a home venue base are all welcoming and awesome for first time dancers and experienced lindy hoppers galore. The baristas here are incredibly kind and willing to walk you through any of their seasonal flavors. If you check on their Instagram, they have plenty of fun, limited time APIA-inspired lattes, like melon, red bean, black sesame, and more. I remember they also did a series of drinks for certain holidays, like a chocolate-covered strawberry latte for Valentine's Day. This is such an artsy neighborhood full of galleries, thrift shops, and now Bright Coffee. You are in for a treat, whether it be a frothy cold latte in the summer, a warm cup of joe in the winter, or some lindy grooves at night.

Yelp
Really beautiful space in Beacon Hills. I love the high ceilings, local art, and comfy seating throughout. Very traditional and straight forward coffee, teas, and lattes. I was very intrigued that they use lactose-free whole milk. But also have plant based options available! I've been in twice, once was too early for bakery items, the second time they had a nice little spread of options! I got a sausage and cheddar kolache which they reheated for me.
google avatar

Inga C.

Yelp
In the daytime, Bright Coffee is a charming place to enjoy a hot frothy cup and use the wifi or visit with friends. It's an airy, loft-like space with white walls and midcentury furniture. There are unique paintings on the walls, on display for sale. The menu includes some interesting caffeine-free options, like a red bean latte that is creamy and sweet. In the evening, Bright Coffee hosts swing dance lessons and events. What a great community gathering place! Looking forward to coming back to learn some moves. Parking at the storefront is limited, but the neighborhood side streets have some space for cars. The traffic circle (with obelisk) is a focal point for antique stores, cafés, and and galleries.
google avatar

Marilyn E.

Yelp
The black sesame latte was good asked for extra sweet but didn't taste sweet almost at all. The banana latte definitely tasted like banana unlike other places where it just tastes like coffee with a hint of burnt banana lol. So it was refreshing. They filled my order really quickly and the workers were friendly. The interior was cute and full of art as an art lover i found it really nice while drinking my dranks. The inside is huge and has a lot of seating. Might need to look for parking a bit since it does get packed but it was a nice experience and the area was cute. We were new to the area as we came on a trip so the address was a bit harder to find they need a big bright sign to match the name :)
google avatar

Terri N.

Yelp
Finally made it to this coffee shop / art gallery / yoga studio! Upon entering the shop, it feels as if you automatically blend in with the crowd and the room. Everyone was doing their own thing, either socializing and listening to the music, enjoying the beautiful art that's on display for sale or enjoying the coffee drinks. I had an iced banana milk late with almond milk....God My Oh! It was so tasty! It almost reminded me of a creamy banana creamsicle but with a nice taste of espresso with it. I walked around to look at the art that lines the walls of each room. And the price of the art is not too bad! The shop has a retro feel to it and the vibe in the atmosphere there was uplifting and super cool. The service was fast and friendly. The latte was great. The shop is second to none. And there's lots of other shops, cafes, and antique shops on the same block. I'll definitely go back to try more and definitely purchase a painting.
google avatar

Cynthia T.

Yelp
Brand new to the neighborhood! What a great space. Super roomy, artsy, and lovely. If you're a fan of art and coffee, this is the spot for you. I ordered the melon latte and it was exquisite. You can really taste the melon in it! They have other flavors that I'm itching to try next time. They also have a few baked goods. This cozy spot is surrounded by art and photography so if that's your jam, you have to stop by. The staff is very friendly and they take pictures of their successful latte art. I though that was SO adorable. Speaking of their adorable, their logo is a simple mug with a smiley face. It will surely make you smile once you look at it!
google avatar

Taira H.

Yelp
Cute spot with a lot of inside seating. The staff was friendly and it wasn't busy at all. I ordered the Black Sesame Seed & Banana Milk Latte to go. Both were delicious and prices were fair. I'd love to see this spot hosts some events like poetry, or record night.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop that also functions as an art gallery. They have plenty of couches and comfy seating, some food, and friendly service. But, most importantly, they have MELON MILK and BANANA MILK lattes. OMG, they are so good! Especially the banana milk one. I'm obsessed.
google avatar

Sara C.

Yelp
Wow what a cool place! It was a little hard to find when driving by and also there's not a lot of parking spaces. However its a cool cafe! Its linked with an art gallery so you can browse the art while enjoying some coffee :) I got the Black Sesame Latte It does NOT have any caffeine so don't be fooled by the "latte" its not too sweet and not bitter at all. it taste really good! It taste EXACTLY like a black sesame seed so if you don't like that roasty , nutty taste then i don't recommend . Driving here I noticed there a lot of cool stores around the area. Its a super old area but lots of unique stores! can't wait to check it out!
google avatar

Poonam S.

Yelp
Parking: there's street parking all around. It may be a little of a walk Service: everyone is so nice and friendly! Ambiance: simple space with lots of seating areas. Great natural light Coffee: vanilla latte & oat milk cappuccino both were excellent!!! Made properly. Pricing was excellent for the quality of coffee. Highly recommend Will definitely come back
google avatar

Emily A.

Yelp
Immediately after stepping one foot into the door we both thought "BRIGHT definitely fits". The vibe is artsy, vibrant, and the atmosphere is quite stimulating. The staff were overwhelmingly friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered a Vanilla Latte and an Americano with a splash of whole milk - we were given a tiny milk glass cat which was the CUTEST THING EVER!! I plan on visiting again soon! Maybe this time I will ride my cruiser as it seems much more convenient with their available parking.
google avatar

Katherine R.

Yelp
Great vibes! Great place to work at! The latte was delicious! Would totally go back to work here and enjoy coffee. Great art work on the walls. Love the open concept they have going on. Parking can be a bit tricky if the shopping center is full. But overall great!
google avatar

Mia M.

Yelp
So I went on a whim to this coffee place. I haven't found a good coffee place in town to just relax, enjoy my drink, and just lose myself in the atmosphere. It wasn't until this place, met all my criteria of a great coffee shop. Parking can be tricky but I got lucky with finding a space to park in. The minute I walked in, the staff welcomed me and showed me the menu which is simple and to the point. What really struck me from the menu was that they offered strawberry matcha latte and banana milk latte. This is something I usually don't see and is a breath of fresh air to see! I got their iced strawberry matcha latte and this is the drink I've been looking for! I noticed they offered macarons from my favorite local seller and I couldn't pass up the offer! Everything is reasonably priced and I cannot stress this enough with how nice the staff are! The place offers wifi and just waiting for my items was a treat. I loved the place overall and would love to come back and work on my stuff with a new drink and a small snack! This is my new favorite coffee spot and I'm excited to come back again very soon
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
2.5 stars-I gave this place a try based off the reviews. A couple of good notables, the space is nice and clean, I love that the artwork displayed is that of local artist. The staff was friendly and the service was good. The not so notables-They don't have a displayed menu or anything indicating what type and size of drinks. I ordered an Americano and the barista raved about it being made with a great "Coast Rican" coffee. It was truly the worst Americano I've ever had. So for ambiance, service, and friendliness, I give them 5 stars. For the drink 0 stars. The next time I'm in town, I will give them another try and update my review.
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
Overall vibes: 10/10. Cute little hidden gem. Everyone was so nice and smiley too. I got a honey oat latte and it is very tasty and well-made. My friend got the Banana milk latte and her review is as follows: "It is very good. I like it a lot." Right next to some cute antique shopping too. Ayoooo. Only thing they need is a bigger sign out front! We had a hard time finding it while driving by. We could just be stupid but I want more folks to know about this place.
google avatar

Susana A.

Yelp
having a coffee in an art gallery! The baristas are super friendly and good service! and I forgot to take a photo of the carrot cake that I love
google avatar

Mel V.

Yelp
First time visiting. Actually, third attempt but first visit. I was unsure about the parking situation before as there is limited parking spaces out front. There are some parking spaces behind the buildings as well as across the street at the school if you come on the weekend. The vibe is friendly, cozy, and laid back. I tried the black sesame seed latte and I loved it. I'm going to try the red bean latte before I leave.
google avatar

Criselda F.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor, try this amazing coffee shop and support local San Antonio business! I had heard about their famous "banana latte with oat milk" so I decided to try this and as per their barista suggestion warm and so glad I tried it, it was the BEST LATTE I've ever had, not too sweet just the perfect amount of banana flavor! Bright Coy seriously has the the lattes and pastries in town! I'm still craving more of this pistachio muffin baked to perfection! Location was ideal too for my client meeting I can't wait to go back!!!

Yelp
We didn't try any of the sweets but did order a kid friendly cold coffee with no caffeine. It was good but a little strong. We were at a nearby store and decided to pop in to try it. It's definitely not for kids, more of an artsy spot. They did have some cool art on the walls for sale. The place is super clean as well as the bathrooms which are for both genders - which is usually ok, but in this case didn't like because someone pee'd on the seat which is gross. Other than that it was good.

Yelp
I recently met up with a friend at Bright Coffee and it was the first visit for both of us. What a great find! It is in a quaint little area with some shops that you can visit while walking up and down the street. I got a cappuccino and some pastries to start. The cappuccino was smooth, though it was a little more acidic than I would have liked (I don't add any sugar or syrup or sweeteners to it). I still enjoyed it, though. I had an almond tequila croissant and it was delicious. The croissant was supplied by Crumbs Viennoiserie and I've gotten some pastries from them recently. I also had a mochi muffin and it was also delicious. When I first got my coffee, I was intrigued by the menu and I asked about the red bean latte and the sesame latte. The way they were described intrigued me so much that I got both of them to try as I was leaving. I'm super glad that I did. The sesame latte was smooth and creamy with an earthy undertone, whereas the red bean latte was sweet and smooth - not as sweet as the red bean dessert items you find in Asian grocery stores but for sure you can taste it. Both were delicious and I am not sure if I would be able to choose one over the other. I am just glad that there's a place in town that serves uniquely flavored lattes. Nōtā Bene: the red bean and sesame lattes do not contain coffee and they don't have caffeine. The barista said that they didn't want the coffee to ruin the subtle taste of the sesame and the red bean, which makes sense. I definitely recommend this place and will be back. The interior is also very spacious and I wouldn't mind hanging out there to get lots of work done!

Yelp
Delicious coffee, selections somewhat limited, lousy parking. tiny sign on the door makes it hard to find if you haven't been there before.
google avatar

Kelly J.

Yelp
The cutest and best brewed coffee in this area! I love it here, only thing is it's kinda hard to find the first time. It's in between Karolina's and another shop I don't know the name of. Nice set up with sofas and other seating to choose from. Beautiful view and plants to accent. Coffee Beans are from Estate Coffee and if you know Estate Coffee from downtown, then you know you're getting some good brews.
google avatar

Sofia M.

Yelp
the staff is rude, rude, rude! coffee is not good enough to go back somewhere w/ such disappointing service. it's my neighborhood shop, so i wish it had been a better experience... all three times i went vibes are spacious and art is cool, but, again, not worth the lack-luster service by baristas.
