Yelp
You wonder what makes this restaurant a straight 5 star-rated restaurant, in its 2 years in business. Let's start with the most important, its food. It's definitely authentic. They have a wide selection of well loved Filipino food : lechon kawali, sisig, tortang talong, pinakbet, sinigang, adobo, pancit bihon, pancit palabok, tokwa baboy, the list goes on. Not only do they offer these dishes, they offer variety of protein selection for each dish like tofu sisig, lechon sisig, Bangus sisig. The ingredients are fresh (scallions and peppers are the greenest of green) and flavorful.
Service is friendly, personal and genuine. The co-owner who is Jamaican mans the front of the order counter, brings out the plates and utensils, engages in chatter; tells us his wife is co-owner , the cook, Filipina whom he met in Manila. Then when it came to clearing tables, we got polite table service, it's family run so the stepson came out and gave us to go boxes and bag. When we ordered halo halo, it came out so perfectly layered, filled to the lid with white bean purée, red beans, lychee jelly, ube ice cream - the works!
Wonder no more, this place is legit and authentic - snd it's not just the food but the hospitality, the ambiance... it's everything you'd expect from a great dining experience!
