Google
Strawberry jam iced Matcha was underwhelming and overpriced. They served it with a plastic straw which wasn’t necessary, unfortunate and wasteful. No real silverware; just compostable, which is great, but classically no composting receptacle, which makes it pointless. The beef bowl was tasty, but also felt slightly overpriced. Organic dairy, seed oil, free and grass fed beef are huge wins. Love the concept here. will try again, but maybe not too soon with the price point.

If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. I ordered the “franks chicken” dish and it was sooo flavorful and filling yet refreshing. The girly working also was so sweet and was seemingly a one woman show who truly whipped out the dishes and drinks. Couldn’t recommend this spot enough!! ☺️

Google
MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE restaurant! I have a ton of dietary restrictions (gf, df and nut allergy) and I have never been to a restaurant that has so many options for me that are healthy and taste amazing! The sweet potatoes are by far the most delicious things I have ever tasted. I love the braised beef hash (I swap with pesto and get no cheese). It’s also a beautiful and aesthetic spot where I love to take friends and family. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough, If Brim has a million fans I am one, If they have no fans I am dead. All jokes aside I am obsessed and genuinely I want to thank whoever started this restaurant because it is my happy place and I could eat it everyday and never get tired. THANK YOU BRIM TEAM!!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Google
I've been eating here since they used pulled chicken (it was amazing), before they switched to only chicken thighs (a definite step down). First, a portion of chicken smaller than half of a small avocado is outrageous for the price. I had to dig to find them. The restaurant told me “three strips are what we put in the bowls.” 2.5 at best, and this is raised up towards the camera a bit. Second, the beans in this dish were ice cold. the bowl was lukewarm, which i thought was weird, since it got here so fast, but it was because some of it came straight out of the refrigerator, with no prep. no seasoning, tasted like canned beans, but ice cold. Of the last 5 times I have ordered from here, 4 of those times have been sub par or terrible (once, i got no chicken at all). The last time I went to get food, it was summer and when I stepped in, the windows/doors were open, but the food was not covered and flies were crawling all over it. I immediately walked out. I waited until now to try again and I just don’t trust that the food is safe to eat with cold food and hot food mixed, since their food is assembled off a buffet-type set up behind the counter. kudos to the restaurant for not being jerks when I called- Unfortunately, I just can't stand behind this place anymore. If I find out they've sorted out the quality issues, I may give them another shot, but I hate wasting food, i hate wasting money, and this place has gone majorly downhill. I hope they figure it out, because this stuff could make a place go under, and gluten free restaurants need to be more prevalent.

This focaccia bread is 🔥🔥🔥 everyone working here was so lovely too. Definitely worth the trip for any GF folks!

Google
Great food and immaculate vibes. This place is great for accommodating dietary restrictions! However, I felt like it was overpriced for what I got, and waited longer than expected for the food (about 30 minutes). I paid about $45 for lemongrass curry, a cookie, tea, and the tip. While the food was good, I don't think the space or the dish warrant such a high price tag. Unfortunately, this will keep me from personally coming back, but I'd still recommend Brim for people who have lots of dietary restrictions and find it to be in their budget.

Google
Prices seem out of line for quality of food. I ordered a chicken chipotle sandwich and a side of sweet potatoes. I know gluten free bread can be difficult to make but it literally crumbled in my hand as I unwrapped my sandwich. The chicken is over cooked and I could actually knock it onto my plate. There was a good amount of chicken on the sandwich however. Parts of the bread were very over cooked to the point I could not bite through them. The sweet potatoes were good but the portion seemed small to me. Overall I would say not worth the prices they charge. After being diagnosed as celiac this is my second opportunity in the last 4 months to eat at a restaurant and I am so disappointed.

Google
Brim is a restaurant located at the end of Lake Street at Lake of the Isles and Bde Maka Ska. Parking at lunchtime was not a problem at all. This totally gluten-free restaurant served up, really, one of the best meals I have had in a good long time. Not only was it guilt-free & gluten-free, it was also totally delicious with a lot of different choices that only beg for a return . I'm definitely going to come back for the bone broth soup again and again. I had the beef , but they also serve chicken as well). Come in, look at the menu , order, and pay at the counter, then take a seat..the food and drinks are brought to you at your table. On top of all that, the service was above and beyond the call of duty. And quite friendly. I think I'll go back again tomorrow. 😋

Yelp
I'm so glad I stumbled upon Brim! The food, service, and ambience are all top-notch. The veggie sandwich and lemongrass curry bowl were absolutely delicious, and the chai latte and golden colada smoothie were the perfect accompaniments. I love that they use organic ingredients and every menu item is gluten-free - it's clear they care about serving high-quality food. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was cozy and inviting. The farm-fresh vibe is adorable and makes you feel like you're treating yourself to a healthy, tasty meal. Overall, I highly recommend Brim for a quick, delicious, and healthy meal. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu items!

Yelp
Inside reminds me of a very cute simple coffee shop. Small table seating and some outside facing lake Calhoun. What's even better is they have an excellent, full menu of healthy organic choices. Oh even better, locally sourced ingredients! With that the prices are higher than some other places. A smoothie is about the same price as a meal but they have some pretty awesome smoothies. The lemongrass curry bowl was the perfect amount and very fresh. It was lacking in flavor though and missed that umph I was hoping for. An overall cute place for a quick bite.

Yelp
Brim has become a staple for mother daughter lunch/ dinner dates. I typically get the same thing, but this time nothing was seasoned. I had to add lots of salt and pepper. Thankfully my salmon was fresh and hot. I'll come back with an updated review when a different cook is in!

Yelp
Cute ambiance near Lake Bde Maka Ska. Food and drinks are good and healthy, but pricy

Yelp
Cute aesthetic, hearty meals, and organic ingredients, (AND don't forget coffee!!) - that's all I could ask for!! I was only here for a short time to eat but Brim was definitely a cute place for brunch! I got the Large Kimchi Beef Bowl and it was so hearty and yummy. I didn't expect Brim to have Asian options, and I love that they do! My friends got more breakfast selections, and their meals looked amazing! Whenever I visit Minneapolis, I hope I have the chance to visit Brim again :)

Yelp
Cute, neat, restaurant. I had the matcha tea and the Linda's Bowl which was a very generous size. The Salmon was way too salty but I did not bother to say anything to the staff. The other items like the beets, cauliflower, broccoli, local greens, and roasted sweet potatoes were fresh. The wild rice was a little too grainy and felt like it could have been cooked a little more to soften the grains. Overall, I thought the staff was nice and the smell of the food was enticing specifically the steamed rice. It just fell short of the taste factor.

Yelp
At this gluten free cafe you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. My daughter and I ordered the Spring Chicken bowl. The food came quickly. Nice, fresh, colorful ingredients. The chicken was a boneless thigh, somewhat dry and tough. Not much flavor. I should have gone back in (we sat outside) to use the salt and pepper. Overall it was a fine, fairly healthy (although a bit pricey) option. They also sell gluten free breads and cookies. The cookies looked delicious.

Yelp
I have only tried Brim at the MN State Fair. I was excited to finally visit their location in Minneapolis, MN. They do not have a parking lot. You can do paid parking on Lake St or find a free spot on one of the side streets. This is on the corner of Lake and Knox. It was a bit of a rainy morning, but they were still able to have their doors open which let in a nice breeze. The vibe is really bright and cute inside. The menu is focused on local, organic, & even plant-based items. For some reason I expected them to have a larger coffee menu. They only had a few things listed or ordered. They also have smoothies, alcoholic beverages, and tea/kombucha. I ordered the Turmeric Ginger Latte - this was definitely good, but there was more foam than drink when It came down to it. I tried my friend's Iced Dirty Chai and that was FANTASTIC! Boujee Benedict - The menu states runny poached eggs, searched salmon, dill cashew cream sauce on focaccia. 1st the poached egg yolks were cooked all the way through- and one of the whites was runny. The salmon was delish, I loved the dill cashew cream sauce as well. I would definitely try this again and just ask them to make sure the poached eggs have that runny yolk because I do love a good runny yolk. The focaccia was awesome and so soft/flaky. I would like to come back during lunch time and try a different menu item for sure. Many things sound good.

Yelp
Nice location, next to Calhoun and all that. But be prepared for ridiculous pricing. We ordered 2 Mango smoothies $10 each no problem. But the two simple cake donuts like you buy at Cub...$6.00 each! All in, 2 smoothies 2 donuts set us back $37.00 out the door. See pics.

Yelp
11/10. So fresh and perfectly balanced Shared a beet poke + tofu & kimchi beef. The tofu was perfectly crispy , but not dry. The grass fed beef was melt in your mouth. Both bowls were bright , crisp and satisfying. The sauce was well balanced. The small bowl was big enough for me for dinner. Staff was friendly! 100% GF. Cookies looked awesome. Could eat here every day and feel great!

Yelp
I was looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat when I was having a month that I went completely without gluten or dairy for health reasons. Finding a location that is able to accommodate both restrictions is hard but luckily Brim saved the day! We both got sandwiches and a coffee to warm up us on a cold winter day. The sandwiches were great but we were not fans of the side salads and didn't really want to pay even more to upgrade. Gluten free bread is usually trash, but the focaccia was wonderful despite being a little small. If the prices were a little lower or the servings sizes were a little bit better I think this place could be 5 stars! I appreciate having the choice though when I need the flexibility with dietary restrictions.

Yelp
As someone with Celiac disease, I LOVE that I can eat here without having to worry about getting sick from gluten! Everything I've tried here has been really good, and their gluten free bread is amazing!

Yelp
Came here with my friends for a quick midday lunch. The seating area was cute. You ordered up at the counter and the. They brought your food to you - both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the Linda's bowl. I got a small and while it was a decent amount of food, the bike they served it in was difficult to eat out of. Wish it would have been wider. The sweet potatoes were cooked very well. The rice was okay, and the salmon was delicious. The dressing felt kind of watery and didn't have that much flavor, would have preferred something thicker. 3/5 stars because decent overall but $22 after tax for my bowl was pretty pricey given the portion size and quality. If you check in at brunch time, you do get a free coffee though so check that out!

Yelp
Wow! This is a hidden gem! I love how everything is so healthy and gluten free but doesn't sacrifice on taste. The gluten free banana bread is rich and decadent. I got the chicken pesto melt and the bread was amazing! The sandwich was loaded with kimchee and tons of flavor. I've been back a few times and I'm impressed by different items on the menu. Highly recommended!

Yelp
A restaurant that is entirely gluten-free! What?! Oh, yeah! :) Plus some nice vegetarian options, and they are organic as much as possible. So, I like bowls (rice/grain bowls - that is their main focus) and soup just fine, but sandwiches on gluten-free focaccia bread that is made in-house? Sign me up!!! So, I ordered the Veggie Sandwich (with avocado, beets, hummus and pesto), and it did not disappoint! The focaccia was light and flavorful, and it didn't fall apart too much like many gluten free breads do. The flavors all worked well together, too. I got a side salad as well, and it was a nice simple salad with good greens. My husband got a side of sweet potatoes with his sandwich - they're roasted and good, but more food than we needed. We could have done with just a sandwich each and splitting one side. So, here you order at the counter and seat yourself, then they bring you your food. That seems to be the way a lot of places are going, even for more upscale-type restaurants. It's a small restaurant with only a few tables inside, and a few more outside, although the floor to ceiling glass doors were opened, so it all blended together, which was nice. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunset over the lake.

Smita M.

Yelp
This place is very cute and conveniently located across Bde Mka Ska, but overpriced and under seasoned food. I had the Linda's bowl and it was very bland if I didn't have the cashew dill sauce. I also had an iced oat milk matcha latte which was delicious! The pastries and their sweet brunch dishes looked good though.
google avatar

Jill T.

Yelp
This is a great location next to the lake, high quality gluten free food plus wine options. The prices are high however, for example two smoothies and two donuts came to $36.00. The donut wasn't dry and had great flavor. I still like Sift best for GF baked goods at lower prices.

Yelp
4 stars for flavorful, beautiful food and being 1 of only a few restaurants I can find menu items to eat in the Twin Cities. Food intolerance friendly! Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. And it all looked SO fresh and unprocessed. Healthy options. I'm sure the location is great during the summer, and then the patio can also be utilized. Cute inside. Downsides: -paper menus not up-to-date. Thankfully I extensively studied the online menu and called in advance, so I double-checked that an ingredient I needed removed was usually included, despite what physical menu said. Important to keep updated when catering to food sensitivities! -the service wasn't friendly. They weren't rude but uninterested/disengaged the day I went. -prices are high. Worth it for options. Also a note: they don't accept the Yelp coupon for free coffee with brunch purchase. States they never even created it and don't know where it came from. I hope the restaurant has done due diligence to reach out to Yelp and fix that. Could some of those negatives result in less that 4 stars? Yes. But it's also a rare gem for those who can't eat out most places, and the deliciousness/creativity of the food is a big deal. And they are issues that are redeemable.

Mike M.

Yelp
This place was cool, but absolutely a big no for me. They have an interesting menu, the poached eggs were great, besides those two factors, the menu is EXTREMELY overpriced. $23 for eggs bacon and toast (added Yukon potato's for $5...) what farmers breakfast doesn't come with hashbrowns or breakfast potatoes?! The food was ice cold when we got it. **ALSO** I had $100 bill and some 20s. They said they take zero cash. It is an electronic payment only which is a horrible way to run a business in America I had to ask my girl to pay and I was taking her out, because they wouldn't take my United stars dollar... currency...cash. Absolutely Absurd and I'll never be back. Don't go here unless you want over priced cold food on your credit card.
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
We stopped for lunch and we're so glad we did. I have a substantial food allergy list, and the staff helped me build a bowl that accommodated my dietary restrictions--and it was delicious! My husband had the beef and veg soup and a piece of the tres leches cake and fell in love. The restaurant itself is bright and airy with a distinct local cafe feel. We were very impressed and will be back next time we're in Minneapolis!
google avatar

Yelp
Food is fantastic, but staff can be a bit unfriendly. Kimchi beef is so good! Nice to have 100% GF restaurants available.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food- loved the salmon bowl, good service (even though it was quite busy for a late lunch) and a nice space for conversation. The quality of the food was excellent!
google avatar

Yelp
I came here for brunch with a friend and got the breakfast sandwich and a piece of lemon bread. Brim is a gluten free restaurant and their breakfast sandwich used focaccia bread that was very good. The lemon bread was more dense and not as good as the sandwich. The parking is street parking and can be a little harder to find. I thought the breakfast sandwich was a little expensive for the size of it. I would come back and try one of their smoothies.
google avatar

Mike N.

Yelp
Brim is the wonderful. Great food that is locally sourced. Eating well can both taste and feel good - Brim delivers on this promise. Additionally the ownership and staff are kind people, I'm in! - Mike, Mpls

Yelp
My wife is GF so she wanted to try this place. Good food but prices are too high so I won't be back.

Yelp
This place was perfect for a quick catch up & lunch. SO many healthy dishes to choose from (if you're a bowl person- there's a dozen) and an assortment of wines and cocktails. I've driven past it one hundred times never knowing it was a cute coffee and food spot. The food was pretty good and the ambiance was great. Super cute outdoor seating and in a popular uptown location! Would for sure go back again if I was in the area or stopping for a quick breakfast.
google avatar

Ricardo M.

Yelp
well well well... The food was good and fresh, price was ok. We had brunch and a smoothy, they didnt want to give us a free coffee when i checked in on YELP, had a coupon so...little disappointed with that, the place was warm inside with all the windows open at almost 90 degrees... not good! Will come back again if im in the area but not in a hurry so.. 3 stars for now.

Kelly M.

Yelp
My husband and I were excited to find a gluten-free restaurant in Minneapolis! The food at Brim restaurant was absolutely delicious! We shared a delicious BLT with sweet potato fries. It was delicious! The gluten-free peanut butter cookie was the best cookie I've ever had. I have several food allergies and I'm so excited to have found a wonderful, delicious gluten-free restaurant!
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
Delicious food. I wanted one of everything but bc settled on a fresh drip coffee and homemade gluten free cookie and warm breakfast bowl. Will be back!

Steve N.

Yelp
We just had a wonderful lunch at Brim in Minneapolis. The four of us each had a tasty, healthy meal and we will back! The meals were delicious mixtures of flavors, and textures. Great ambience, as we were seated looking at the lake through the floor to ceiling folding windows. Highly recommended if you like "good tasting and good for you food". Subservient service. Enjoy!

Annie D.

Yelp
As someone who eats a 100% gluten free diet I feel as though I've finally found my place in uptown! The homemade focaccia is amazing, and gives me a break from the traditional mini gluten free bread options. The ambiance is so welcoming, calm and clean. What a great find in uptown!
google avatar

Olivia R.

Yelp
What a cute place! Friendly staff and awesome menu options. I love when places have a big menu. The chimcurri bowl was incredible omg.... The staff recommended it! Lovely staff and really helpful. Great music and atmosphere. I will be coming back to try more things!
google avatar

Yelp
Kimchi Rice Spring Bowl with jasmine rice, poached organic egg, greens, broccoli, kimchi, avocado ginger garlic sauce. It comes in a small $11 or regular $15. I opted for the regular then added organic chicken for an additional $2. All of their bowls are gluten free AND can be made vegan! I also believe their menu is seasonal which I like because you're always able to spice things up and I personally feel better eating seasonal veggies. They've got a prime location and aren't wasting it. Their corner restaurant has floor to ceiling windows and the inside is gorgeous and inviting! We took our food to go and walked across the street to Bde Maka Ska. 100% recommend doing this! The wait was also pretty quick and service was super friendly! I'll definitely be coming back here this summer!
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
I've tried it three times now and can definitely say that it's a bit of a miss. Great intention and the food is above average for healthy clean eating. The service is always painfully slow, today we ordered a bowl of tomato basil soup, and a hummus plate. It took nearly 20 minutes for our order to arrive. I really want to like this place but they still have a lot of details to work out.
google avatar

Jenna B.

Yelp
Finally made it to Brim, for some reason we keep forgetting this as a 100% GF option. I had a hard time deciding what to order because everything looked so good! I ordered the pesto chicken focaccia and it was amazing! I have definitely been missing focaccia since my celiac diagnosis and didn't even realize it! I also ordered a turmeric ginger latte and a 3 layer bar. I was disappointed by our service, the girl at the counter couldn't answer my question regarding the oat milk. I was also shocked that a GF restaurant would serve oat milk as their only DF option. Many people with celiac/gluten intolerance have problems with dairy and oats, so you would think they would also serve almond milk or some other non-dairy alternative! I also found myself googling if the brand of kettle chips served were gluten free, as this was not labeled on the bag. I never did find an answer so my husband ate the chips. Again, a little shocked as this places claims celiac safe. Finally, the 3 layer bar. It looked delicious, it sound delicious but it was awful, don't waste your $5! It tasted like coconut even though that isn't in the description. It was so dry and bitter, definitely in need of something sweet. I honestly feel like they messed up a batch, I don't think they meant to serve something so bad! My thoughts, they accidentally used coconut flour instead of almond flour and forgot the sugar! So why the 4 stars? My sandwich was that good! We will be back to try other sandwiches and bowls on the menu!

Lauri A.

Yelp
I ordered takeout, including a bowl, and an $18.25 BLT. This sandwich, which was supposed to come with chips, had one, ONE piece of bacon. For $18.25. And the chips were missing. The sandwich was swimming in mayonnaise. Did I mention it had ONE piece of bacon? This is not the first time Brim has forgotten something in an order, but it's the first time I felt ripped off, either by shoddy and careless kitchen staff, or by design. We've been regular customers, love their location, and we recognize that their items are priced higher. But this felt over the top. An hour later, Just received an email from the owner, apologizing, and offering a refund. Thank you for prompt response, and good customer service. Changed from 1 star to 3 star.
google avatar

Molly G.

Yelp
Fresh, delicious gluten free eats! This is the perfect restaurant for people who eat mostly Paleo. I have celiac disease, and I felt amazing afterward. The beef, purple cabbage, and chimichurri green sauce were delicious. We also loved the warm gluten free focaccia bread!
google avatar

Vicki K.

Yelp
The food was really fresh and the flavors blended so well together. I got the chicken and wild rice bowl and it was delicious. The biggest plus is that the entire menu is gluten free and celiac friendly! My friends also enjoyed their meals. Additionally it's right across from the lake so the view is really nice.

Yasmin I.

Yelp
The food is pretty filling. Very healthy but not much seasoning. A bit on the pricy side as well for grain bowls. The ambiance is nice

Kaelah M.

Yelp
Terrible food, unless you are gluten free, don't eat here. No seasoning, stale chips that came from a bag, and they didn't put sauce on the coleslaw. Over priced for very basic food. The flys ate more than I did. The only thing good was the service. Tourist trap.

Jerilyn S.

Yelp
Very good food and cute vibe/atmosphere. the location is also great even though it feels a little tucked away in plain sight. Would recommend

Yelp
Brim is good, quality, healthy food with a view during the day and perhaps even more so during the summer. Located kitty corner across from Lake Calhoun (Bde Maka Ska) on the west side ground floor of the 1800 Lake Apartments building, the restaurant has a modern design with ample seating, yet there's still a feeling of intimacy once you're there. Service is good and the menu has enough variety but it's not overwhelming. Went there for dinner and ordered the Spring Chicken (large size) which is like one of the Signature Bowls that has quinoa, broccoli, organic chicken, greens (spinach), avocado, garbanzo beans, and pickled veggies (carrots and onions) that comes with a pesto sauce on the side. It's a very colorful well put together dish and again, I'm mad at myself for not taking a picture since it was very pretty (can't say I've said that about many dishes). Talk about a quality, healthy dinner that was filling - wow! There was plenty of quinoa and the picked carrots and onions were money - great flavor and just a hint of heat, I loved them. I also ordered one of their new "cocktail" drinks, which are all wine or champagne based. In general, I think Brim is only allowed to sell wine or beer as there was not hard alcohol or other liquor sold. The other dish we ordered was the Chicken Mercado which has quinoa, organic chicken, black bean corn salsa, sweet potato, slaw, avocado, and it comes with a chipotle crema sauce on the side. The chicken in this dish was a little different than the Spring Chicken - maybe cooked a little more and seemed to have a light coating which was very good. I really liked the chipotle crema since it had a smoky flavor. Overall, the first trip to Brim was very favorable. Good service, great food, and decent drinks. The windows are large and look like they can be opened in the summer time for a great view of Uptown and the lake. Prices are a little higher, but I think that's probably for the location. Two signature bowls and two drinks with tax and tip was nearly $60. There is street parking but everyone in Uptown can easily walk to Brim. Other than the meters, one tip is to park on the Lagoon side of the block where parking is free after 6 PM. I can definitely see coming back here in the summer for weekend brunch and a walk around the lake.

Yelp
A group of friends and I went to Brim for my birthday celebration. We made reservations for brunch, which ended up totally not being necessary. We went on a Sunday at 11:30 and were easily able to find seating for our group of 5. I ordered the brunch bowl and mango smoothie and split a side of focaccia. Everything was amazing. The brunch bowl was the best bowl I've ever had. The sweet potato was roasted to perfection and the chipotle crema was delicious. The smoothie was also fantastic. Will be back!

Yelp
This place has everything - the food, the drinks, the location! They have plenty of gluten free, dairy free and vegan options. We got the berry bowl, vegan poke bowl and peanut butter sea salt cookie. The vegan poke bowl was delicious with a yummy sauce, the cookie was to die for (we ended up ordering another one) but the berry bowl was disappointing. Overall I still give this place five stars because their menu has something for everyone and they're right across from the lake.

Yelp
Yesterday my friend and I decided to check out Brim. What a great experience. The food was exceptional. My bowl had dark chicken in it. When I first noticed it was dark, I thought "rats". Was I ever wrong. I had no idea you could make chicken taste that good. The staff is very friendly, the place is super clean. I will definitely be back. What a jewel, and all healthy food.

Yelp
This is a great place for a happy hour on a Friday afternoon! It wasn't crowded, so conversation was easy and the service was quick. Happy hour prices are great ($2 off beer, wine, and snacks). Mom and I both enjoyed the unique hummus platter: the hummus is milder than most (no strong garlic flavor, and an especially creamy texture), which really showcases the flavors of the accompaniments. The pickled veggies are superlative, and the roasted root vegetables were very tasty. The service was was very friendly and fast, and we loved the location: a nice view of the lake, and easy to find street parking. This is a great place to go for conversation and a yummy bite; I would recommend it for a coffee or wine date for sure!

Yelp
Soooo glad I came!! Cannot rave enough. The atmosphere was amazing; I've been looking for something like this in Uptown for a while now. We found this place after stopping at their Stand at the MN state fair, after falling in love with their GF bread. Both of our bowls were packed with flavor and veggies I didn't even know I liked. I tried both bowls, and can honestly not say which was my favorite between the two. Each contained something different I was looking for. Will definitely be back again :)

Yelp
A little taste of SoCal in Minneapolis. Being born and raised in San Diego/Los Angeles, I know an Instagram honey pot when I see one. The white and pale pink walls, open layout, multiple vine walls, and healthy vegan/vegetarian options including kale and kombucha are straight out of the trendy LA handbook. It is a beautiful restaurant! Located right across the street from Bde Maka Ska & the Lake of the Isles. They have outdoor seating facing the lake, perfect for romance The staff is friendly and helpful. They allow any replacements or substitutions you could ever need or want. Because of the fresh, healthy ingredients, Brim is on the pricier side. The smaller size bowl was the perfect size for me! I even had some leftovers to share with my boyfriend. I wish they would have bolder flavors! My bowl was good, but the flavor volume could have, and should have, been turned WAY up. Use more spices! Please!
