Great food and amazing environment. I highly recommend this restaurant. Fish and ingredients are fresh. Staff was very very attentive and nice. My favorite meal option of theirs was the poke tuna stack. It was off the chain good! A masterpiece in itself! If you do visit, order it asap. Thank me later!

The food and service from this restaurant were delicious. Each dish came out quickly and tasted splendid. This place is on the pricey side, so I would recommend coming with the thought to spend. Over all would come back again.

I went here for lunch during work and I have to say, the place is nice. The interior is definitely crowd worthy. I had the kung pao calamari, the brimstone salad with salmon and the asparagus. I needed to eat more vegetables so the salad and asparagus were needed. I generally like fried calamari. Overall this meal was good. The scenery was good and the service was good. I do recommend

Wow, what an amazing night. We came on a Friday night and the bar was packed. We were lucky to get a seat. The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. The best part of our night was our bartender Emily. She was so nice and attentive with professionalism. Thank you for an amazing night. Will be back soon.

After 2 weekend trips to Miami I can say Brimstone Woodfire Grill is absolutely the best food I have had here. Insanely good appetizers! The calamari was THE BEST that I have ever had, The sushi was phenomenal, and the spinach dip had my mouth watering. Topped it off with a New York strip with shrimp that absolutely blew my mind. Overall incredible food. I also loved the outdoor dining area; until it started pouring rain, but the inside was nice and cozy as well. And the Service was phenomenal to top it all off!

Google
I went to Brimstone for dinner with a few friends. The open concept and ambience were very nice and top tier. Ordered a strawberry mojito that was very good so I ordered a second one. The calamari was a great selection from our server and he gave a very good recommendation as it was fresh, light and very tasty. My main entree was the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and a side of asparagus. The meal was very good, my only drawback was the temperature of the steak got warm to almost cold. But my overall experience was good and I’d give it another try for an even better experience.

We walk around the restaurant complex and discovered this place by mistake, there was a good music and a lot of people. We waited 10 minutes for the table. The service was great, the dishes came out pretty quickly and were delicious! We ordered for the starters a kind of tortilla with tomatoes, mozzarella and pesto. For the main courses we ordered ribs and a burger. We went out in total with a $ 60 bill including drinks. recommended! 😊

I have dinner here a couple times and it never disappoints. The Brussels sprouts are a must. Really they are delicious. I get them every time I come here. I have ordered the soy salmon with mash potatoes. The lunch portion is a very good size. The cocktails are good and the terrace has a nice ambience. The wait staff is attentive and the food is served promptly.

Yelp
Id have to say I was pretty impressed with quality and freshness of the food. The decor was giving me Olive Garden, Outback vibes where everything tastes robotic and factory and this was quite different. Started with the spinach dip which you really can't go wrong with. I had the steak Marsala which isn't visually appealing but had good flavor. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were just there to be honest - too bad you can't sub anything on that dish. My dates chimichurri was sooo delicious and flavorful. The little bit of steak he let me try was also on point. I wish the creme brûlée was slightly warm because it should be from the torch so I'm sure it wasn't freshly torched? Anyhow, wasn't the best I've had but it did it's job I guess. Drinks were on pointtttt! I did a spicy guava and spicy passionfruit margarita and they were so flavorful and good. Definitely a safe bet restaurant I wouldn't hesitate to go to if I want a solid good filling meal.

Yelp
If you're looking for great food, attentive customer service and a fantastic view of the beautiful Doral City Place, Brimstone Woodfire Grill is a spot you have to check out! If you've never been to Brimstone, I'd recommend to eat in the outdoor patio or enjoy a cocktail at the spacious bar. I recently experienced Brimstone on a Friday night, which was just busy enough for us not to have to wait for a table. We had a few cocktails, appetizers and a dessert in the outside patio and enjoyed people-watching that were walking around in Doral City Place. Our waitress was extremely polite and attentive. We started off with coconut mojitos and spicy margaritas, which was my favorite and a must try. Not only did the drinks taste great, but they were also so cute and picture worthy. We then ordered a couple appetizers to start with, which included the tostones and poke tuna stack. The tostones were amazing! We ended up seeing another table order the white chocolate bread pudding, which enticed us to skip right to dessert and a few nightcaps, which were the espresso martinis. The bread pudding is probably one of my favorite dishes this restaurant offers, which pairs great with a dessert drink. Overall, Brimstone is a fantastic night out with a great ambience and even better food! I'll come back soon and try their brunch menu!

Yelp
Let me premise this review by noting that we visited this restaurant while what seemed to be four office holiday parties were being served. With that being said, there was a wait to be seated, a wait for our server who accidentally knocked over a glass of water that spilled onto me. Once we did order, the Arnold Palmer was horrible, apparently, they just switch lemonade. I sent it back and settled for water. For our meals I had the filet mignon sub with fries it was delicious. Mrs had the half rack of ribs with jalapeno mac and cheese. She sent the Mac and Cheese back and settled for the sweet potato fries. The ribs had good flavor but they were dry. Oh we also ordered calamari that was never delivered. We were offered a complimentary dessert Creme Brulee which was surprisingly outstanding. This review has nothing to do with our server personally. She was very apologetic for the business of the restaurant which obviously caught them off guard. Again you could tell the staff was caught off guard because there was a table that remained dirty with dishes until we were finished our meals and two of the four parties had departed. Would I give them a second chance, I believe I would if I lived here but Miami has so much to offer I would not come back until I have experienced the rest of Miami, so there you have it.

Yelp
Came on a Wednesday evening for dinner with a friend. We ordered coconut mojitos, loaded tostones with short ribs and pork belly, ribs, and a churassco. The restaurant itself is nice and has a nice view and atmosphere. Service was kind of lacking, and for it not being busy, we could have been checked on more. The food presentation looked very good. The tostones were great, the pork belly ones being the best thing we had. Ribs were good, but the churassco was not that great. The chimichurri was horrible! The churassco was soft but was also overcooked. Mojitos weren't anything special.

Paloma M.

Yelp
The churrasco was cooked to perfection and the flavor was there. The service was amazing and friendly. Great place to get dinner and hang out at city place Doral.

Yelp
This was my first time at Brimstone and my experience was wonderful. For the first time in a while I actually walked into a restaurant to smiling faces and a warm welcome. Many places struggle with that these days! The hostesses and the food/drink runners were so friendly and so was my server! It was a Friday night and there was no wait for my table. They have a great menu (drink menu as well) we started with a mangonada mojito and a tamarind margarita. The drinks were great! Very unique! Then we had tostones mixtos you get the option of 2 of 3 proteins we chose short rib and chicharron. Next time I would choose short rib and chicken instead but the chicharron wasn't bad. Short rib was better though! Steak bruschetta with goat cheese was next. I don't do goat cheese but my partner really enjoyed it. For mains we had Churrasco, Mac & Cheese, & A coconut shrimp roll. The Churrasco and chimichuri were AMAZING! I was not expecting it to slap quite that hard. Mac and cheese was very cheesy and flavorful! Loved it. My coconut shrimp roll had lots of room for improvement. They forgot the avocado and the tempura shrimp was too heavily breaded. I only ate 2 pieces. My server was nice enough to take it off of the check. Overall a great experience I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Although today's visit was mostly for the bar, I can surely share this, if you haven't been here for weekend brunch, you're missing something special. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and comfortable. There's a large outdoor dining area with plenty of shade and fans. They have an awesome bar with plenty of space. The quality of the food, variety, preparation, and the taste are all great. There's something for almost every taste; from flatbreads, to steaks, seafood, sushi, and more. The cocktails are innovative and the prices are reasonable. The staff and managers are friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and very accommodating. Margaret is amazing, and her Bloody Marys are excellent; I highly recommend you try one (or several if you have time ). I'll most definitely be back!

Yelp
My birthday lunch with my family and we had a great time! Thanks to the great server and chef! Appetizer of artichoke spinach dip was delicious! The special charcuterie plate of steak , sausage, riblettes, chicharrones was awesome. 4 in our party got the shrimp in penne with vodka sauce and they raved about it. I had the churrasco with a side of Kale salad (incredible! I'm going to dream about this salad). The steak was meh, a little too chewy and a little overdone for my medium rare request, but still tasty. I have one tiny issue: NO BREAD! How can I not sop up the delicious meat juices! Ugh. However the kind server said that they may introduce bread in the future. You must Brimstone! Bread pudding desert was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful lunch

Yelp
Couldn't wait to check it out! I first heard about it on Yelp week. Wanted to try it then but didn't get selected and I forgot. So for my work bday lunch I picked here. Thought I would check it out on my own. The only parking is valet or parking garage. I went on a Thursday at lunch. Although I arrived at 12 the parking garage was packed. I ordered a bottle water. I was asked small or large and I went with large. To my surprise the servie brought back a large glass bottle of VOS water. Next time I will go with the small. I keep the water so I could start weekend hydration lol. Because the libations was going to be flowing. I had the ribs, fries and jalapeños Mac n Cheese. The ribs and fries was good. The Mac n Cheese needed more seasoning. It was plain and not spicy.

Yelp
First time at this location and it was a good experience. I had an espresso martini which was amazing. For appetizer we had the spinach dip which was pretty good but average. My friend had the tequeños which were good, the only thing was that it has an ahi verde sauce which is pretty spicy for those who have a low spice tolerance. I had the coconut shrimp roll and it was great. It was a calm Wednesday night but we did find it weird they close at 9pm for being in a busy area like Doral City place but great service and delicious food!

Yelp
Our 2nd night In Miami with Family and we went out as a party of five for dinner. I always follow my Sister's lead because she is a foodie and always picks the best spots. Apparently, we eat early by Miami standards. There were a few People in the restaurant when we started. Halfway through our dinner, the restaurant quickly began to fill up. Our server Melanie was so bubbly and sweet that her energy was infectious. I ordered a baby wedge salad(I love a good wedge!) with a short rib flat bread. The wedge salad with blue cheese was so tasty!!! The short rib flatbread was So delicious and tempting that I had already eaten it before I took my pictures!!! Ba-be! Those carbs in that flatbread spoke to my soul. The mixture of flavors was amazing. Thr Manager Emily came over and she was so nice. Because we were a fun group, they gave us a free bread pudding. I have never had bread pudding. But when I tell you that the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and a raspberry sauce was the BOMB.COM, you bette believe me. I honestly wish I had gotten more pictures of this place because it was beautiful- the open air seating, the ambiance, the Staff and the food makes this restaurant a whole vibe. 5 out of 5 stars for me.

Carolina V.

Yelp
Visited this Brimstone with friends for a Sunday brunch and I must say that I'm quite disappointed. For the price of the food, the food is mediocre at best. We tried the sushi, the pastas and the flat breads and they were simply edible. The only dish we really liked was the cesar salad, it was delicious. I wish I could've taken pictures of all the food we had but I didn't want to be "that person". However, the bottomless mimosa deal isn't that bad! For $15 you get the whole bottle of champagne to your table. Unfortunately, this isn't a place I would go back to eat at. I would like to mention that the service was great! Everyone was very kind and polite and our waiter was very warming.

Yelp
I live close by and my husband and another couple went for dinner. This place has a much shorter menu than other locations. Also, we were indoors however their front door was open so flies were inside as well as birds. We started with the chicharron tostones and the yucca bites. This was delicious. For dinner I had the tuna stack and a baby wedge salad. The tuna stack was room temperature and swimming in pontoon sauce,The crispy wontons were stale and the avocado was also warm and brown. It was not good. The wedge salad was much better. The rest of the table had steak and they all enjoyed their plate. I am not a fan of the flies and the birds. The tuna should have been chilled. I am a one and done for this place.

Leslie S.

Yelp
Pros: Plenty of outdoor seating, great service. Food was very yummy, portions were big, we definitely ordered too much food. The drinks were delightful! Tons of variety, so there is something from everyone. Cons: very loud music, but it's perfect if you are on party mode.

Ellie D.

Yelp
Just tried Brimstone, we live across from it in City Place Doral, Emily was the manager on duty and really helped- Chad was our server and was FANTASTIC! All his suggestions were spot on. I ordered the Butchers Sandwich- never saw anything like it, perfect and awesome! Our son order the Lomo Saltado and loved it, my husband had steak and onions, I tried it it melted in my mouth, great meat dish. We had a lot of appetizers as well, the flatbreads are incredible, the sushi as well, very nicely done. Tostones with steak and rib meat- super! The soup was some the best I've ever eaten. Then tried the bread pudding for dessert, we split it between 3 of us, and it was very good and filling. So happy this great place is a short walk from my home, we'll be eating there on a regular basis! Keep up the great work.

Jenny G.

Yelp
Great food , excellent customer service, nice view , I love the poke tuna , the chicharron tostones are delicious. Very nice wines for Friday afternoon perfect spot variety of shoppes and stores around .

Yelp
Brimstone was a wonderful restaurant with great food and great vibes! The tostones mixtos were really good and the short rib risotto was amazing, with beautiful presentation.

Yelp
We setup a meeting with our team and decided it would be best to make it a lunch meeting. After calling around Brimstone was the best option. We had about 20 people and they helped setup the tables in a convenient but safe way. The waitresses were great as well as the GM who came over several times to check on us. Everyone was great and were a real pleasure to deal with. The food was outstanding, I had the Mahi Napoleon and it was just right. The rest of the team ordered various plates and everyone was enjoying their meals. The Brimstone Team did an outstanding job and we will consider them again for our team lunches.

Cristina C.

Yelp
Service was exceptional. Julio was charismatic and informative, answering all of our questions with enthusiasm. Everything was absolutely amazing. Food and drinks came out with minimal wait time. Highly recommend!

Christina T.

Yelp
Service was excellent and extremely attentive. Not pictured was the mango mojito, cedar plank salmon, and tostones. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the tostones and the white chocolate bread pudding. The portions are large and enough to have some leftovers. 7/10, Would suggest to a friend.

Minnettia D.

Yelp
The Wife and I decided to have an impromptu night out. We wanted some place we have not been before and a place where there were multiple restaurants. As we casually walked around Dorsl city Place we agreed on Brimestone. The menu was not too long or overwhelming. There were enough options and healthy choices to choose from. While I was slightly disappointed that the Mahi was not available I was still able to get a delicious dish. The service was divine and attentive, wish I can remember our serves name. We started off with artichoke dip, it was so creamy and delicious. We ordered shrimp penne with vodka sauce and tropical chicken paired with a coco loco and lychee martini. All I can say is there were no leftovers to bring home lol. We would definitely come back again.

Michelle G.

Yelp
Came on a date with my husband and my son. The food was delicious and so were our drinks The service is amazing our server Brianna was super sweet and attentive. Definitely recommend! 10/10

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday at around 2 pm and it seemed to be the only restaurant that was practicing social distancing guidelines and mask ordinances in CityPlace. My sister and I were able to get seated right away, it was empty enough that we were able to choose wherever we wanted to sit. The waiters were wearing masks but the table wasn't really cleaned prior to us sitting, so we asked if it could be cleaned and it was not disinfected or anything, just to note for safety practices. We started off with the Kung Pao calamari. The picture I took was already towards the end I was eating them so quickly I almost forgot to snap a pic! Delicious. I'm not really a nut eater but they were so yummy with the calamari. For brunch I had the steak and eggs. It came with chimichuri sauce and potatoes. Steak was cooked perfectly and the chimichuri paired so well with it. Really well made. The potatoes were fluffy, hot and seasoned so obviously I just inhaled them on sight! Too, too good! Lastly my sister insisted on desert and we both love bread pudding but we heard it comes with a raspberry sauce and we were like "eh" but both the waiter and what I would assume is the manager (super nice guy) were like no, trust it's delicious and we did and I'm SO glad we did!!! I could not stop eating it and I was already so, so full. First of all, it a huge portion so I am embarrassed to say we killed it and left nearly nothing behind but wow. The raspberry sauce paired so well with it and the ice cream.... I'm drooling again just thinking about it! Some places make bread pudding and they're like too condensed and they don't taste well but this one was fluffy and light and sweet and it honestly reminded me of how my grandma used to make hers. Trust the staff when they recommend a dish!! Can't wait to come back. I've already told some friends about how good the food is here so I'll probably be bringing them soon!!

Yelp
Hands down great restaurant!!! Great area, city place doral with both indoor and outdoor seating, this restaurant I took my wife to on her birthday and she was just as impressed as I was. Everything was done right! Drinks food waitress and waiter on a busy Friday evening we didn't wait more than 10 min for a table for four. We started with drinks at the bar which made great cocktails both for my wife and I. Then when the food came out it exceeded our expectations of course I had the steak and was grade A quality and taste. Since then I have been here 2 other times and it's all been a great time every-time I have went keep up the great work brimstone you have a loyal life time patrons in my family and I!!!

Darryl T.

Yelp
Pretty cool area.. this is a nice clean restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Went for dinner.. a little pricey but the food was delicious. Service was kind of slow so as long as you aren't in a rush. Drinks were nice food was delicious I will absolutely be back.

Joseph S.

Yelp
Last minute valentines plans we went here for dinner. No reservations put us on a wait lift for 40 mins. The wait time was perfectly estimated. Going out for Valentine's Day you never know the service you might get based off of everything being extremely packed. The waitress and management tried hard to make everything as pleasant as possible. No reservations on a busy night, and still able to have good enough service and food Huge portions as well neither of us were able to finish.

Katherine G.

Yelp
Ambiance: really big, very dim lighting Service: our waiter was very attentive, water was replaced when needed Food: was the let down here. Mediocre.

Kai-Lin W.

Yelp
We loved this place! Went here for my boyfriends birthday dinner and had a great server, so wish I remembered his name! The calamari was crispy, the sushi was so fresh, and I couldn't have asked for a better pasta. His steak was okay, a little chewy but the jalapeño Mac n cheese, although looks plain, had so much flavor. I'd definitely come back here!

Kailyn P.

Yelp
Nina, kaylin, and George are absolutley amazing. service was so nice and fast! they were so attentive and bad a lot of patience with this big table

Thelma S.

Yelp
The place is well decorated and the ambiance is great. However, tables were left dirty for hours (especially outside) and we can had to wait 35 minutes to be seated when there were multiple empty tables that hadn't been cleaned. However, the staff was courteous and kind; which is always appreciated. Food wise: we ordered the topped tostones with short rib and chicharron and they were extremely greasy. Not much flavor either. Sirloin Marsala was also bland. Best part of the meal was the passionista I ordered. I would come here for happy hour but not much else.

Melanie C.

Yelp
Came here last Sunday with my friend for brunch and the ambiance seemed off but we were seated immediately which was nice. We sat at the table for a good 25 minutes and no server came by to atleast ask if we needed water or drinks. Anytime we would try and call someone over they would completely ignore us. We ended up deciding to leave and I'm not even sure if anyone noticed we left. The restaurant was not packed and did not seem busy which I would have understood. Didn't get to try any food not even their water. Waste of time :) ended up at Tap 42

Vanessa D.

Yelp
First and last time at this awful place. Mango margarita with Casamigos was ok. Not worth the $40 price. Got the ceviche and it was rancid. As soon as I took i bite I knew it was spoiled. They shouldn't be serving old ceviche because it could make people extremely sick. There is no excuse for this. The tostones tasted okay but the tostón was stale and they arrived cold. The flatbread pizza was not properly cooked as some of the cheese was not completely melted and it was unevenly warm which tells me it was microwaved, but it didn't taste awful. The picada board which had steak, baby back ribs and shrimp was salty, stale and overall tasted like it had been cooked days ago and reheated today. The service sucked. We were there for over two hours mostly just waiting around for food that was probably cooked days ago and just put on a skillet for reheating.

Nick C.

Yelp
Gave it a four because of the great food. Try the Tostones. The flatbread Margharita pizza was a good pick as was the Chicken Alfredo. The fifth star was for the incredible service, thank you Tony!

Natasha T.

Yelp
Had dinner with friends on a Friday night. BEST choice we could have made. I was fortunate enough to make a same day reservation and all the stars aligned. Our server, Melanie, was AMAZING! She was courteous, professional, knowledgeable & a breath of fresh air. A couple of us have dietary restrictions and she made suggestions that worked. Everything here is made from scratch so it was perfect. The wedge salad was so fresh and tasty, the salmon was on point, the ribs were finger licking good! The manager, Emily, came over to our table to check on us which was an absolute pleasure. By the end of the conversation, she offered us a free dessert. They bread pudding. OMG!!!! Hands down THE BEST EVER! Words can't express how good it was. The cinnamon, the raspberry sauce, the temperature. I mean cooked perfectly! Will definitely return. They have the right combination of great service & great food.

Ellen B.

Yelp
My negative review has nothing to do with the food. I was there last night with a group of 8. When we received our separate checks, 20% gratuity was added to the bill which was not unexpected. My bill was $51.20 and I gave a $100 bill and a quarter. I should have gotten back $49.05. What the waitress gave me was $48. When I went up to her (she was standing with the hostess), I told her she shorted me $1.05. Both of them told me they don't accept change, they don't give out change, and they round up the amount owed. So according to her, I owed $52. I asked her where my quarter was and she reached in her apron pocket and gave it back to me. Now $1.00 is not a big deal but it's the principal of the whole thing. If they level up everyone's bill, they could be making a significant amount by the end of the night. My question to management - is this your policy? Round up everyone's bill? Totally not right if you ask me.

Kristina T.

Yelp
We came for an early Mother's Day celebration and this place did not disappoint! Zero wait time when we got there (around 6pm on a Friday night) and our server Julio promptly greeted us and informed us of the specials. We also got the lychee martini and the dragon berry mojito, both of which were DELICIOUS! Not pictured are the toatones! We got chicken and short rib (short rib being the winner by far) The churrasco was cooked and seasoned to perfection The wedge salad, also a classic and difficult to screw up, was also very tasty The Salmon was good, but I think fewer yet larger shrimp would've been better All in all this is definitely a great spot for all! Don't skip out on them !

Sofia M.

Yelp
Horrible service, we had to seat ourselves and get our own menu. Even after that we spent 15 minutes waiting for someone to come. They finally brought us water and then we had to wait another 15 minutes for our order. Drinks are mid. Don't recommend If you want good service and a calm evening.

Alexandra R.

Yelp
I have been dying to try Brimstone for the longest time and I finally did this past weekend and boy was it worth the hype. Let me just start by saying that this was the fastest restaurant experience I've ever hada from the moment we sat down to the time we got the bill only 45 minutes had passed. Every time we ordered something it came out within minutes so fast that every time we said there's no way that could be our food already! But it was. Wow. Speed racers in the kitchen but now for the food. For appetizers we had the short rib tostones which were soo soo good! It was a tostone with delicious short rib on top and then cover with a cilantro sauce and another creamy sauce. It was so tasty and much larger than we had anticipated. It came with four pretty big tostones. Now for the main meal, the reason why I was here, all the hype was for this filet mignon and I was so ready to finally try it. After taking the first bite I understood why everyone had been harassing me to try it. Wow so very food. The filet was cooked to perfection I love my filets medium so a nice cooked outside with a pink and a little bloody interior. Yum, it was very well seasoned with salt and black pepper which was all it needed. I got mine with asparagus which was also grilled and delicious, wasn't over cooked and still had a nice crunch while my fiancé had the fattest yummiest steak fries. I low key wish I would have gotten an extra side of fries haha. Now for the dessert my oh my don't skip out on the dessert. We got the white chocolate bread pudding with ice-cream and a raspberry sauce. Wow wow Wow. So the bread pudding was warm and soft and sweet and just delicious but the best part was the top of it had a crunchy sweet crust that had a little bit of white chocolate pieces and it just made it heavenly. The raspberry sauce was the perfect sauce to cut the sweetness from the white chocolate with the tanginess from the raspberries. And then the cold ice-cream right on top of the warm bread pudding to just tie everything together for a perfect dessert. YUM! I hope this helps you, definitely giving this place two thumbs up of approval. With much foodie love, Chiqui linguine

Yelp
Me and my son, Derick Sosa, come from time to time to eat here. Great food and great service. Every time you go, make sure to ask for Jhan Martinez. Love this restaurant.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. We tried the fried calamari, a lobster & spinach dip, a salmon sushi roll, churrasco, mahi mahi and snapper. Their outdoor seating arrangements are quite pleasant and the service was great as well. It's a little pricey, although you get what you pay for.

Yelp
I came here a quarter to nine on a Sunday night. We were seated in a big comfy booth, nice looking restaurant. The service was great. The food was all excellent, however not a fan of the crispy stuff in the tuna tartare appetizer...other than that I would highly recommend!

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and it's never been a wow experience :( . I do prefer the Pembroke Pines location - it's like night and day. This location has drastically downsized their menu, like almost in half. Came here for something specific and they didn't have anymore. Which is fine but the options are limited in general. This go round I must say - was a really good one. I ordered the short rib flat bread which was actually really good. We got the Cajun pasta - was hot (temperature) and full of flavor. Also the steak sandwich - juicy and flavorful. Fries were crispy, - everything was excellent. Im not sure if it was because it was a slow night or if it was them downsizing the menu ? Maybe focusing more on the items at hand more carefully ? Who knows? But what I do know is this time around ... everything was really good. Of course I got the best thing on the menu - can't forget the bread pudding !!!!!! if they get rid of that they might as well shut their doors for good lol we also tried the key lime pie. It had a LOT of crust but overall pretty decent. This is maybe my 3rd time dining at this location and the first time I actually left happy. I know this may not be the most useful review - I hope everyone's visit is amazing every time - but I did want to give the disclaimer of it always not being peaches and cream (for me) . Will try again and see ... will keep you updated !

Yelp
We came here after the Improv. It was calmer than other venues because they are little further from the Improv I guess as most went just next door after the show ended. The bartender was friendly although it was sometimes hard to get her attention. My drink was excellent and after having 2 drinks at the Improv walking out sober, I could only drink half of this one to be able to drive home. So delicious and strong. We sat both at bar as outside and it's a nice venue. Table clean up could maybe be improved too as you don't want to go sit at an unprepared table.

Yelp
I came to Brimstone after going to see Bob Saget at the Improv.... I was starving as I didn't eat much more lunch that day. It was late, I was cold because the improv had the ac at full blast.... so I was hoping that this place would have great food, good drink and be warm. Yes it was. I had a Brimstone Lager which was bad and some sticky ribs which were delicious and satisfying. The service was decent... it didn't get five stars because I had to try to get their attention on three different occasions to order food.... and I was sitting at the bar and it wasn't busy. Still darn good food and drink and the ambience is wonderful. Place has essentially three areas: bar area, restaurant area, and outside area. After I had my drink and ribs, I sat outside in the outside area finishing a beer and enjoying the beauty of the night. Wonderful place.... I recommend it.

Yelp
Brimstone... listen up! Your server/bartender Gabriel is absolutely amazingggggg!!! He made our experience so enjoyable and I'll become a regular just for him. Excellent service. He laughed with us. He blew us away with my surprise "bartender's choice" drinks which were amazing. He suggested the chicharrón tostones and wow, so yummy!! Also he sang my happy birthday with this delicious bread pudding and it was absolutely spectacular! Please hire more people like him.

Yelp
Decided to venture on a weekday and try this restaurant out...thankfully, I was beyond pleasantly surprised. Nestled inside CityPlace and out of the few restaurants still open, Brimstone has a very ample and covered patio setup that made for a pleasant dining experience. Service - There was one server for the whole area so I thought that it was going to be challenging for our server to handle the handful of tables BUT nope...! She was fantastic...! Stephanie was friendly, upbeat, knowledgeable and best of all... happy to take care of her customers even with her mask on and the unbearable (305) heat...! She didn't miss a beat throughout our dining experience; and at the end of the night, we thought we had made a friend...so priceless...! Food - It was truly terrific...! Ordered - *Signature Spinach & Artichoke Dip - Not usually a fan because, in most dining places, it tends to be watery; but this time I was impressed. The spinach was hearty, thick and creamy and the chips were crisp and sturdy enough to handle this great dip. It's also accompanied with a side of salsa but, unfortunately, I don't like tomatoes of any kind but it did look fresh and good enough to eat. *Shrimp Penne a la Vodka - WOW....! The vodka cream sauce along with the parmesan cheese made this dish creamy, thick and flavorful. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the shrimp - when they say Jumbo, trust them...! - They're jumbo and plenty of them...! Highly recommend this dish that even though hearty, it's not heavy. *Slow Roasted Baby Back Ribs - The slow-roasted and wood fire grilled taste was terrific. The ribs were tender...I would have preferred a bit more of a "fall of the bone" experience but they were good. The seasoned fries were a great carb filler. *Bread Pudding - Must order...! Delicious, creamy, decadent and simply worth all my consumed weight watcher points. Definitely worth the foodie experience and when accompanied with exemplary service, it made for a great outing...! If you haven't, go check'em out...Bon Appétit...!
