Brindley's | Best places to stay in Bath

"Housed in a wisteria-clad Victorian terraced house, this delightful, bijou boutique B&B is more affordable than many of the slicker townhouse hotels that Bath has to offer. Six bedrooms range from cosy boltholes to positively sumptuous doubles – each has fluffy bedding, a dressing table, tea and coffee and romantic floral décor that will put guests in mind of Jane Austen’s Bath (we’re sure she’d have liked the fluffy white robes, too). It’s perfect for those after more of a cosy home-from-home vibe than a grand hotel stay. Tucked away down a quiet residential street, this quiet haven is just a few minutes level stroll from the city’s historic centre. It’s a good base for a car-free break, but if you do drive, there’s complimentary on-street parking. " - Sian Lewis

The Brindley guest house was amazing. Our room was large, beautifully decorated and amazing clean.... The staff (husband and wife) was outstanding. They were so sweet and helpful. Hopefully they will never leave so that others can experience their hospitality. The breakfast was one of the best! We had a hairdryer, bathrobes and ironing apparatus at our disposal. We were a short walk away from the center of Bath in a quaint neighborhood...it was quiet and inviting. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go. We walked down from the train station (we were not sure how far it was with luggage) but took an Uber back. It would have been fine if we did not have luggage. The price was excellent!

What a FABULOUS establishment and great location. Lovely accommodation - great food at breakfast - extremely hospitable and friendly staff. This B&B has very comfortable beds and rooms and the whole establishment is furnished beatifully. The great thing about the location is that it is just a ten minute walk (flat / level all the way) into the Bath town centre. This B&B is highly recommended. Please bear in mind though, as is usually the case with many Inn's and Band B's in the uK - stairs are steep and narrow in buildings that were built in the 1700 or 1800's but that's part of the charm. Not an issue but just carry one bag up or down the stairs at a time.

A beautiful little b&b around a 15 minute walk from the railway station and city centre. Tina and Adrian were welcoming. Our room, room 2, was small but lovely. Nice bathroom with a wonderful shower. Such a comfy bed and pillows. Good tea tray including kitkats. The breakfast was really nice. I would suggest taking earplugs to sleep, as we found it very noisy from other rooms, (when bathroom taps being used, people using the stairs and think we had elephants in the room above us). Situated in a quiet area away from busy roads. Would recommend and stay here again, if we ever came back to Bath. Thank you very much Brindleys. :)

Brindleys Boutique is a lovely place to stay while visiting Bath. We stayed in room #3 and really enjoyed the room; the bed is large enough for a couple to sleep comfortably, the bathroom is large and very functional. I'm so grateful that a floor fan was in the room, as I run hot and since there is no AC I appreciated the airflow. The location of the B&B is great for an easy walk into town to enjoy the restaurants, shops and of course, the Roman Baths. The staff at Brindleys are all friendly and engaging and the building is beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Stayed with my old school chum for a reunion in a twin bedroom on the top floor. We loved our stay at his gorgeous boutique hotel, the room was clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was cooked to order and was tasty and generous. The staff couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed. All in all, a fabulous experience!

Wonderful stay in this fabulous boutique B&B. The rooms were clean, beautifully appointed and comfortable. Breakfasts were exceptional and delicious. Our hosts David and Tina were welcoming, friendly and most helpful. The position is very convenient and close to the town centre. Its worthwhile also to walk up the hill to see the canals and views over the town

Beautiful guest house, cosy, comfy, clean and welcoming. The hosts were super friendly and the breakfast was amazing. It was only a 10 minute walk into the centre, but overnight was very peaceful. The only issue was expensive parking on the road, but that was set by the council, so not much they could do about that. Probably cheaper to find a local 24hr car park. Overall this was a 5 star experience.

So glad we chose Brindley’s for our. 5 day stay. Great location -easy walking distance to all sites in town center and railroad station. Comfortable , quiet rooms, great pillows, delicious breakfasts cooked just particularly for you, and the most helpful staff with maps and directions for out of city tours and quick to solve problems if your driver does not show up! Really enjoyed our stay and friendly atmosphere.
