Brindley's | Best places to stay in Bath

"Housed in a wisteria-clad Victorian terraced house, this delightful, bijou boutique B&B is more affordable than many of the slicker townhouse hotels that Bath has to offer. Six bedrooms range from cosy boltholes to positively sumptuous doubles – each has fluffy bedding, a dressing table, tea and coffee and romantic floral décor that will put guests in mind of Jane Austen’s Bath (we’re sure she’d have liked the fluffy white robes, too). It’s perfect for those after more of a cosy home-from-home vibe than a grand hotel stay. Tucked away down a quiet residential street, this quiet haven is just a few minutes level stroll from the city’s historic centre. It’s a good base for a car-free break, but if you do drive, there’s complimentary on-street parking. " - Sian Lewis

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and very calming. There were various teas/coffees and hot chocolates with a kettle in the room and two bottles of water. Lovely shower and great toiletries. The bed was so comfortable and we both slept really well which we don’t always when somewhere unfamiliar. |The included breakfast was absolutely fantastic and consisted of fresh fruit, cereal, and a hot option that could be full English, salmon and eggs, eggs on toast and a vegetarian option which was Halloumi, spinach, tomato, mushroom and egg. I had both the poached and scrambled with a full English and my husband had salmon. My husband is coeliac and they had gluten free toast and sausages and were very clued up in cross contamination and all staff had been made aware. We were here for the Bath Christmas markets and the location was perfect, only 10 minutes int the town centre. The hotel can organise parking through the council also and because it’s a little out of the centre and by permit only it was fairly easy to find a space. |All in all, we are hoping to return at some point during the warmer (and dryer) months. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely one night stay at Brindleys Boutique. It's perfectly situated, out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre but an easy 10 minute stroll into the beautiful city. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean and a lovely ensuite with an efficient shower. Breakfast was absolutely lovely, I had the full English and my daughter the scrambled eggs, both were really tasty and beautifully presented. A huge pot of tea was much appreciated. The service was friendly and attentive and Christina was very pleasant , a great host. We would definitely stay here again when we next visit Bath, a great find. We booked parking and found a spot just up the road, so no problems with parking.

My wife and I stayed here for one night. Adrian was the perfect host from the moment we arrived to when we left. The room was exceptionally clean, warm and tidy. The bed was super comfy too!||Breakfast was wonderful as was the fresh coffee. I do not hesitate in recommending Brindleys to anyone thinking of staying in Bath.

We loved our stay at Brindleys. The room was beautiful, very comfortable with everything you could need. The breakfast was lovely and Valentina and Adrian (apologies if I have got names wrong) were very welcoming and helpful. The location was an easy walk to the centre of the city. If we're ever in Bath again, we will be back!

Beautiful guest house, cosy, comfy, clean and welcoming. The hosts were super friendly and the breakfast was amazing. It was only a 10 minute walk into the centre, but overnight was very peaceful. The only issue was expensive parking on the road, but that was set by the council, so not much they could do about that. Probably cheaper to find a local 24hr car park. Overall this was a 5 star experience.
