Seafood Institution Pesce Returns to Dupont Under New Ownership - Eater DC

"Brine was a short-lived raw bar that occupied the space before Pesce Seafood House. It served its last oyster on November 11. The restaurant was critically acclaimed and managed by Aaron McGovern, who previously ran Russia House at the same site." - Tierney Plumb

Food was outstanding! Seafood absolutely done right. Judita was warm and welcoming while we waited (very briefly) for our table. They had a solid beer, wine, and cocktail list. Plenty of oyster varieties that our server was happy to talk us through. I was also happy to see they had a children's menu, though we didn't utilize it. Glad we found this spot! Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible and delicious. The most delectable seafood in all of DC. The owner and Judita were super friendly and extremely helpful. Everything was SUPER fresh. The Himachi Crudo was unreal. Definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure.

Time is wonderful, what a perfect dining experience from the GM and exquisite taste and fashion sense to the wait staff, very professional and courteous. And the food, I had the Branzino fish it was fillet along with veg, a glass 🍷 Pinot that was sensational and dessert Key Lime Pie. I can't wait to return and thanks again Aaron for suggesting we try your Dupont area rather than H st during the festival. Kudos!!!

My husband, daughter, and I loved the ambiance. It's a very intimate setting. My daughter loved the clam chowder. I enjoyed the clam linguini. My husband liked the branzino.
