4 Best Day Trips From Boston to Salem, Newburyport, and Provincetown | Condé Nast Traveler

"The menu at Brine consists of unique interpretations of top-notch meats and fresh seafood ; take, for example, the clam chowder that switches bacon bits for soft slices of pork belly. But whatever you end up ordering, make sure to start with the Power Tower seafood platter—oysters, shrimp, crab, lobster, and littleneck clams—and end with the salted caramel soufflé. The intimate space has just 50 or so seats and an interior that feels more sophisticated than your typical seafood joint—think exposed brick and Carrara marble. Come here for proof that New England's culinary scene has much more than lobster rolls and fried clams." - Todd Plummer

Road Trip Week 2017: The Best Food and Restaurants Near Boston | Eater Boston

"In Newburyport I stop at Brine, an oyster, crudo, and chop bar right along the main drag; the space is charming and cozy with wooden accents and nautical nods, it’s packed even on a quiet afternoon, and some people bundle up to sit outside to avoid waiting or to soak up a last bit of al fresco dining." - Eater Staff

My husband and I made reservations for Brine for a night out. We predominantly chose brine because of its extensive fresh seafood selections… we went all in on seafood and ordered the Large Tower and a small plate of Octopus. The seafood in the Tower was very fresh, the shrimp were very good…. Not over cooked and great flavors (not strong). The octopus plate was wonderful, it came with a Cucumber, Celery, Cayenne Butter Hot Sauce with Dill Ranch. The flavors in the sauce was out of this world… I like spicy food and thought the heat in this dish was perfect, not too much to overwhelm, but a nice amount of heat. We shared a bottle of French rose sparkling wine along with sparkling water. The service was good and the atmosphere was vibrant… it was a little on the loud side due to all the hard surfaces… make sure you sit across from your date so you can enjoy a conversation… overall very good!

Google
Loved this restaurant and can’t wait to return. The bartender was terrific, atmosphere was upscale and comfortable. We started with oysters, and they were delicious and sweet. They were on special. Ordered the duck pasta, and it was one of the best dishes I have ever had at a restaurant. The house Pinot Noir was perfect with everything.

Google
There's a lot to love about Brine. Nice atmosphere, different from the other options in Newburyport. Delicious food. But at least for now I have to seriously dock the rating (particularly on the food side) because, come on: it's 2025 and you're in Massachusetts and you can't have a single vegetarian entree? Or even specify on the menu that one of the entrees can be made with a vegetarian option? In the current menu, even the small plates only give hummus and pita as a vegetarian option. Yes, of course I realize the kitchen is happy to make a veggie dish upon request. But not having any indication of that on the actual menu basically tells folks who don't eat meat/fish that they're at best an afterthought, and at worst actively scorned. I go out to eat a LOT, and it's extremely uncommon to find a restaurant that snubs vegetarians on the menu, literally including steakhouses. If Brine fixes this, I'll go there much more frequently and this review will probably become a 5.

Google
The oysters and clams were amazing, our entrees were okay, but what really stood out was the service. Jeremy went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He even went so far as to bring a server over from a neighboring restaurant to reserve us a table for brunch the following day! Truly the best service we have ever received at a restaurant. He is incredible and SO kind! If the owners of Brine are reading this please find a way to recognize Jeremy for his outstanding work!

Google
Unfortunately, our recent dining experience left us quite disappointed. While we had high hopes, the execution of the dishes, particularly the use of spices, seemed consistently off. My wife's lobster rice was the first sign of trouble. The lobster itself was overcooked, and the accompanying rice was bland and uninspired, lacking any of the flavor that could have elevated the dish. For my main course, I ordered the tuna, hoping for a better result. However, the dish was let down by the unusual combination of spices in the rice, which simply didn't complement the delicate flavor of the fish. It was a strange mix that overpowered the main ingredient. This was a recurring theme, as the mussels we had also suffered from a peculiar and ill-suited blend of spices that made the dish difficult to enjoy. Overall, it was a frustrating meal where the flavors seemed to clash rather than harmonize. It's clear the kitchen has some creative ideas, but the spice combinations need to be reevaluated to create a more cohesive and enjoyable dining experience.

Google
Ramen is incredible. Best I’ve ever had. Drinks are fantastic 🍹 The tuna tartar and the crudo lacked flavor but everything else was wonderful. It was so good I’m going back next week.

We came to Brine in beautiful Newburyport for lunch. We sat outside and it was lovely! Giselle, the manager, was amazing and the staff was very attentive. The lobster roll and burger were yummy and cooked to perfection. A delightful & professional place serving great food in a beautiful atmosphere. The definition of a quality restaurant. We will drive up from Boston to go again!

Google
August 2022. We love the outdoor dining in Brine. Oysters were great, I also enjoyed the deserts. This time I tried two small plates for dinner and did not like either one. Lettuce wrap crab and octopus with eggplant. May 2022. Brine is back. It is one door away from the old location, with in door and out door sitting options, and the food as good as ever. I had duck with Vietnamese fish sauce and really enjoyed. Great oysters. Excellent steak. May 1, 2021. Sadly, Brine is gone. We drove by and another restaurant will be opening in that location. 2019: Excellent. Creative and tasty. Oysters, soups, steaks, scallops - everyone at the table was happy.

Yelp
Great spot to grab lunch! Sat at the bar and got some oysters, salad, and fries. Bartender was friendly. Restaurant was cute and updated, would visit again
google avatar

Yelp
Came again - disappointed again. You can't call yourself brine if there is no liquid in your oysters. Who charges for sides with oysters! Give me a break Better options in the area without faux fine dining bravado that it hasn't earned.

Yelp
Stopped here for a small bite at lunchtime. Although there was Only a couple of people there ( we were there during shoulder season and 2:00 PM), I could tell this is a very hip place. The decor is pretty.

Yelp
It's been a minute since we've visited Brine in Newburyport, and once again, it didn't disappoint. From the local oysters on the half shell to the rest of the creative well executed menu. I actually say it's one of those menus that's tough to choose from because everything sounds so good! The best bite of our lunch was the octopus.the silky honeynut squash soup was on Point,The beet and Delicata squash salad was packed with flavor with pistachios, mascarpone cheese, and orange blossom. Service was attentive and friendly. The ambience is very inviting with lots of light coming in through the street. Can't say enough about this place always our go to spot when visiting Newburyport.

Yelp
Keep walking~ Stopped in for lunch on a gorgeous Friday afternoon. The cob salad was a wet mess. Pasta? Lil overcooked but good. Waiter was pretentious. Wine was great. Brine was Not worth it to us. Place looks pretty though gotta give them that

Yelp
TLDR: phenomenal upscale seafood spot Hot damn we were soooo happy with this meal. Came on a weekday afternoon and got the Overboard which is a combo of their sea food tower and toasts. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. Glad to get the Overboard as it really was a taste of everything. We ended up ordering an additional beef tartare toast and some more fried oysters. Like seriously, this meal ended up in conversations of top meals in the last year. We debated coming back for dinner haha
google avatar

Scout N.

Yelp
Oysters amazing but how do you goof up good cold water oysters. The Old Fashioned was outstanding, thanks to a good bartender. The Clam Chowder was like thin gravy with a few clams. If I order clam chowder, I want clams!
google avatar

Richard E.

Yelp
This used to be a wonderful, intimate, warm go to restaurant in Newburyport. No longer. They moved to a larger space that feels like a cafeteria. The lobster bisque was decent but too much chili, made my mouth burn. I live spicy food but this was inappropriate. The $50 steak was chewy and served cold, the sauce came right out of the fridge and the rushty potatoes was literally tasteless with a bunch of mayo on top and more chili. Not surprised the place was nearly empty. Not doing this again...

Yelp
We are foodies and fine dine a lot all over the world and were excited to try this place on Valentine's. I know it's a tough day for restaurants and expect everything to be over priced but paying over $350 (including tip) without a bottle of wine and just one cocktail for what we received was pretty outrageous. The carrot soup was unappealing and the bean sprouts and radish on top didn't make sense at all. The piece of fish was super tiny, dry and desperately needed a sauce. A lot of the puff pastry on the Wellington was raw. The risotto was bland and basic. The potato was basically just a baked potato. The chocolate cake was so sickenly sweet and unappealing with a gross looking raspberry sauce on top we only had a couple bites. Only good, creative dish was the broccoli rabe. Even the way the dishes were served was super poor. Definitely won't be going back!

Jackie S.

Yelp
Price was fair, my cioppino was really good, like my spouse's codfish entree, which he says took codfish out of the category of "ordinary" into "really delicious." The service was attentive, and the wine list was a good one. I would recommend Brine enthusiastically, especially on Thursday late-afternoons to evening, when they do a raw oyster special for a buck a shuck.

Becca M.

Yelp
Brine was delicious! I got the tuna and I ate it so quickly that I forgot to take a picture! Service was quick and we had multiple members of staff coming to check in with us. Everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. My only complaint is that the dishes were quite small. I could have definitely had more after my meal.
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
Ate a disappointing dinner here after walking by and seeing a generally packed restaurant and positive reviews. Oysters were very middle of the road for a restaurant that brands itself as an oyster bar. Clam and pork chowder was good, but tiny portion for $10. The octopus was probably the best item of the night, but still was a little dry. The tuna entree was cold, surprisingly bland, and topped with dried crunchy "pomme frites" that created a confusing texture. For two people to order 3 apps and 1 entree but walk out of the restaurant still hungry with a $100 bill is wild. Decor felt a bit dated and one of our menus had a tear in it. Service was friendly.

Yelp
Each time i come here the food is worse and more expensive. The patronage is down to me and id be hard pressed to get service. Ive just had a meh lobster roll at $38 that consisted of two small tails and a small claw, complete rip off. It is so sad to see another promising nbyt restaurant turn into a shell of its original potential. Ive come here periodically and the descent into mediocrity has been steady. Staff attitude gets snarkier as ship sinks.

Yelp
Absolutely loved everything about Brine! Great food (one of the best beef tartare I have ever had and the humus appetizer is amazing)! Excellent portions. The waitstaff were very attentive (not in overly intrusive way) and knowledgeable (thank you Maeve), we just had to compliment them to the manager. We sat outdoors to enjoy the afternoon sun but the interior was beautiful. We were on an overnight get away but I'd definitely drive back the two hours for lunch any day!

Lark M.

Yelp
Check out the poke bowls - economical and very tasty Beware of the Manhattans $22 apiece!! Still a great place with imaginative and high quality food. Plus buck a shuck on Thursday night. We went early evening- great service - less boisterous.

Yelp

Yelp
Though we only had a few bowls of chowder and a couple of drinks we were very impressed and will definitely go back. Located right in downtown Newburyport it has a Vero upscale and modern sophisticated menu

Yelp
Celebrated our anniversary with wonderful friends and ordered every app filets and all of the desserts with any array of cocktails.. everything was delicious and perfect especially our server who we requested because she's so knowledgeable and helpful and pleasant.. thanks for making it a perfect evening Anna we appreciate you and thanks for honoring all my requests Brine..

Yelp
Okay...something about common curtesy. One of my favorite restaurants in NBPT is Brine and have been supporting since inception. There's so much that keeps me coming back, food, service and great play on food combinations. This night everything was going great until a waitress spilled soup all over my guests down vest and into her purse. There was quite a bit to clean up and felt really bad for the waitress as I'm sure it was hot. The response was less than stellar! We had to go into the bathroom to clean everything out without much effort from management. Not going into it all but when you spend $200 at an establishment you would think that management would have comped something.... Disappointed customer..now doubting a return.

Celestino N.

Yelp
Worst clam chowder in the planet... shouldn't even be named as it... waiter brought a 2nd bottle of water and opened it, which I didn't ask for... type of "smart" guy...
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in with my friend. Excited to see Damariscotta oysters. Unfortunately, we never got them. Bartenders were very inattentive and the owner was at the end of the bar drinking a glass of wine. So disappointing.

Yelp
Thank you for creating the most magical date night! Everything about our dinner was perfect- the food was incredible, the presentation flawless, the service so prompt and helpful. We easily spent 2 hours here just talking and eating and drinking, completely losing track of time. The oysters here were amazing, and I can't wait to come back on a Thursday for $1 oysters. My favorite was the beef tartare, which comes with nori and pears and totally blew me away. The filet mignon was oh so tender and came with the perfect pairing of sweet potato and endive. My branzino was so soft and melted in your mouth, and the sauce was incredible. Definitely don't skip dessert- the chocolate mousse with sea salt is so so good! The service made me feel like we were the only two in the whole place, I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Striped bass, and lobster pasta. Each was 36 dollars. Glass of medium priced wine 14 dollars Pita bread fresh baked 2 slices with dipping oil 9 bucks. Total bill with tip 120 something. Food was prepared beautiful. Although the prices a little high on some items, choose carefully. But they are delicious. For example lobster pasta should be around 28 dollars not 36. Striped bass 36 is fine. Bread with oil was 9 which is fine. Portion sizes for small plates are a little small and prices are high. So i would highly recommend getting only entrees, leaving happy and full and getting homemade ice cream down the street. I would return. Please take time to review your selection before you order, look at the pictures these are entrees. I left fed.. but i felt i could use a little more , so the ice cream down street was enough to make me completely satisfied.

Yelp
We love brine!! Great oysters and the best food in NBPT. Service is always great as well!

Yelp
At first we did not consider this place, since we do not like oysters, but was pleasantly surprised with Brine. We stopped in for Sunday lunch. We split the Tomato Nectarine Salad and Shrimp BLT. Tomato and nectarines were an unusual option, but they perfectly complimented one another. Drizzled with a vinaigrette it was fresh and tasty. The shrimp BLT had large whole shrimp. Service was excellent and so accommodating.

Yelp
Nestled in Downtown, it's a very convenient location. Inside it's nothing like any other oyster bar I've been to. It's bright and very loud-- difficult to have a conversation across the table. I didn't like the mocktail I got (French 75 without alcohol). The short rib and bon

Yelp
My first time back at Brine since the pandemic. The space at the former Fowles coffee shop is excellent--spacious with a long bar where the soda fountain was many moons ago. The kitchen is open and bustling. Unfortunately the acoustics make for a very noisy evening, so be prepared to shout and cup your ears for normal conversations. We were served focaccia and wine quickly but then waited 50 minutes for our entrees. The focaccia with Rosemary olive oil was good but annoyingly not free ($6). We ordered two fish entrees--cod ($34) and halibut ($36). The halibut was excellent, the cod under-cooked and somewhat rubbery. The side of cauliflower and truffle ($15) was decent. Overall not a great dining experience.

Yelp
The new space looks great. The fried green tomatoes were too thick. The chickpea French fries were soggy. The tartar sauce was good. Service was great! Space was great'

Yelp
Stopped by on a nice Monday evening and was able to eat outside, no wait at all to be seated. Nothing beats a nice evening meal with the sea breeze to cool you off, especially during a heatwave. I rarely order cocktails now as I'm watching calories and sugar but tried their Horsefeathers cocktail. It was just okay - very bitter but also nice and strong. The star of the meal was the selection of oysters. We got two of each variety and they were lovely. Very unique tastes for each type, including some from Canada. I also loved that they offered an interesting selection of sauces and not just horseradish. They had so many good looking small plates that we decided to get two to share. The broiled oysters were good. Tasty but not very filling. The crab lettuce dish was just so so. I didn't think the crab had the best flavor but the presentation was nice. Prices were a bit expensive but I think that's par for the course when eating in Newburyport these days. I would 100% return for the oyster selection and maybe do a second round of those instead of the small plates next time.

S C.

Yelp
Stopped at Brine for lunch the other day. I ordered the Fish and Chips, which was bizarre in its presentation and preparation. The piece of fish was encased in a very course panko type batter which had been deep fried, but was anemic in color. The fish basically slid right out of its casing, and the inside of the batter was slimy and sort of like raw dough. I've eaten alot of fish and chips in my life, both British style and New England style, but this was neither and pretty awful. Also, putting it on top of a pile of fries big enough to feed 4 people doesn't make the dish good. Maybe try focusing on the quality and not the quantity. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin, which was fine, but it was way too much pork, and barely anything to accompany it except for a bit of puree of something. So, basically it was a huge piece of pork on a plate. Once again, maybe focus on quality, not quantity. I'm not an oyster lover, but the raw oysters we saw at other tables looked very good. I suggest going to Brine for the oysters, but skip the other entrees.

Yelp
A few years ago I rated this place a 5 star place. It was in its old location and I'd eaten there a number of times after I reviewed it and it was flat out amazing. Yesterday was our first visit to the new location (by "new" I mean new to me, it's been open for a while) and I was shocked by how average to bad the food was. Also, the a/c was so cranked up you could safely store meat on one of the dining room tables. It was 72 degrees out, not 98. There were three in our party and we had a plate of six oysters and one person had the chowder. The oysters were great, the chowder had a great flavor and consistency but it was seriously lacking in clams. She counted....there were three bits of clam. She didn't finish half the bowl, a fact that was not addressed by the server. The kitchen does not serve bread nor do they have oyster or any other type of cracker for the chowder. Really? Are we too chic to offer something as pedestrian as a fucking oyster cracker? Fuck off. For my lunch I did something I never do, I cheated and ordered the fried chicken sandwich which looked absolutely amazing when it arrived. Unfortunately, the chicken was a tiny piece just buried in its batter. Like I was two bites in before I hit paydirt! The fries were just fries, nothing unique or special about them. But they nice and room temperature for people who don't like hot food. Our 14 year old companion had the steak frites, he asked if it was spicy, was told it wasn't, it was. He ate half and here our server asked if he wanted to take the steak home he was told no thanks and didn't raise and eyebrow. I'm assuming that this is a different place for dinner, I won't be back for lunch.

Christina N.

Yelp
The ambiance of this location makes Brine stand out. From the moment you walk in the door, you can feel the good energy and care as a customer. The Oysters here are my favorite! The service is excellent! I would highly recommend Brine!

Yelp
I tried Brine for the first time last night, and I had a very good meal! We started off by sharing their focaccia bread, which was delicious, and then I opted for the yellowfin tuna crudo. The crudo was flavorful and well prepared, with coconut, cucumber, and lime. For my entree, I opted for the halibut, which was pretty good, but for $36 I expected a little bit better. The portion was pretty small, and although the flavors were excellent, I felt the fish was just a little overcooked. All three of us opted for the flourless chocolate torte, which was great. There was a large group (maybe around 10 people) who had evidently ordered just before we did, so kitchen was very slow. We didn't mind so much since it was a relaxed evening anyway, but just something to be aware of. The manager did come over to apologize. All in all, I would definitely return to Brine, just be sure to order before any large parties do!

Yelp
Great service. Chill atmosphere. Comfy seating. Extremely fresh and delicious seafood. The shrimp cocktail was incredible. Besides...it's in Newburyport. That's a win in and of itself.

Yelp
Excellent oysters and caviar. The chowder is broth based and very tasty. The wine selection is pretty good. The view out the front windows is very nice. Such a cute Oceanside town. The service was fine.

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance is impeccable! Highly recommend this restaurant, wonderful experience for date night, anniversary or any special event!

Yelp
Please turn down the music no one can talk at dinner. The service is fine but my god the food is so overpriced and not that good. Like everything on the menu is expensive and again the food doesn't warrant the price. Hire new chefs

Yelp
We were looking forward to trying this restaurant since we enjoy all the other ones in town and hadn't been here yet. I tend to see restaurants as individual places when rating and rarely have such a poor opinion of one. Here is the run down: 1) The place was mostly empty at lunchtime on a nice Saturday in September. The waitress was not very friendly and seemed busy socializing at the end of the bar with coworkers while we waited for a fairly long time to order. Then didn't come back again for a long time between ordering drinks and apps and then meal. Then when food came never came back to see if everything was cooked ok etc. 2) Oyster selection for an oyster house is limited to 4 choices at $3-4.50/ per and had broken shells in them from not being shucked correctly. Happy to pay the going rate of approximately $3/per but no broken shells please, that's dangerous and definitely not acceptable when charging 50% more for an oyster at $4.50 per. 3) Lobster roll was averaged priced for a nicer quality one in Massachusetts but was awful. The worst I have ever had actually and I see some other reviews noting similar in the past so they have not taken reviews in to adjust the products. It came in a grilled bun and I had to open it to see three small shriveled pieces of lobster in it not dressed with anything. I took two bites and it didn't taste fresh at all and chose not to eat it to avoid getting sick. I ate the semi warm fries because again waitress nowhere to be found. When she came back after we waved her over, I had showed her the lobster roll and told her it didn't taste too good and asked her to bring it back. She seemed annoyed and didn't apologize at all. My husband was pretty much finished his burger so I just asked for a bowl of chowder which again, should not be a cooked to order item but seemed to take a really long time. She came back and said her manager said I would be charged 50% for the lobster roll. I asked to speak with the manger. He arrived with hands on hips somewhat confrontationally, did not apologized for the poor quality sent from the kitchen, but simply stated "I understand the lobster roll did not meet your expectations". When I explained he was charging $32 for three tiny pieces of meat that tasted bad, I reaffirmed it and said I didn't think we should be charged for it and said that we would be fine with paying for the fries though and would just cancel the chowder and leave. He said no, we'll take the lobster roll off the bill. Still never really apologized and walked away 4) What showed up for the chowder is consistent across many reviews here. A small bowl of smoky, thin, milky, broth with a piece of pork and a single clam in it and three very small potato chips placed on top for $10. Not horrible in taste but also really should have the description of it changed to match it as a smoky soup garnished with the above noted garnishes because it is not clam chowder by anyone's culinary standards. The bill for lunch was $81 for two cocktails, four oysters, a burger and fries, a small bowl of "chowder" and not really worth it at all for substandard food and surly service. Also left hungry because I had eaten an oyster, a clam, a bite of pork and a handful of fries.

Yelp
From Colleen at the door to Maeve as our delightful server, this establishment oozes class and comfort from the second you walk in. Everyone at Brine is beyond pleasant and the food...oh my good God the food! Everything was absolutely delicious!! We scored big time and hit the $1 oyster night (Thursdays) and the end of season Street Corn. The burrata (with caviar on top!) and Portuguese sweet bread were to die for and to top off the evening, the BEST bread pudding we've ever had. All around a spectacular night in #nbpt !

Mary F.

Yelp
Poor value. Too pricey for what you get. While the food is good it's too overpriced and the menu is limited. Been there twice now and unlikely to return.

Diantha J.

Yelp
TL;DR: spectacular food, meh waitstaff. First and foremost, the chef truly understands and has a passion, and love, for how they construct a dish; each one was elegantly balanced and brought out not just flavor, but texture and feel. Five stars all around for that, and you will be VERY happy with anything you order. We got the tuna tartare, the fillet mignon, roasted mushrooms, and skate. The tartare, while a little small, integrated a maldon salt for an unexpected but welcome texture, and the basil was a bright and welcome twist. The fillet had the perfect sear with a beautifully medium rare cook in the middle. The mushrooms were a thoughtfully intentional myriad of (mostly) native species that accentuated the personality of each. The skate was buttery and subtle, a contradiction to what you typically think of with skate, and was well balanced with the briny, pickled contrast of the capers. There is thought, care, and intention with the design of each dish. We give four stars because the waitstaff was lackadaisical and inattentive - there was a 35 minute wait between when we finished our apps and when our entrees arrived, without so much as a check in - and the ambiance was such that it was sometimes hard to have a conversation across the table.

Yelp
Brine was amazing! Our server Alex took very good care of us. The rest of the staff was great as well always checking up on us. Now let's get to the food. Once we sat down we informed Alex that we we going to get at least half the menu. We pretty much did. Started off with all 3 Crudo. My favorite was most definitely the snapper. With sesame, peach, chili and ginger it had all the Asian influences. The Yellowfin and Wester Ross Salmon were amazing as well! The Clam + Pork Chowder was great. Light and thinner than a normal clam chowder. It was the perfect break before we got into the heavy stuff on the menu. We got the Focaccia, Bacon + Egg and the Smoked Fish Pate next. Which was a great combination together. Even though the Focaccia had some beautiful herbed olive oil, it was great to have it soak up the yolk from the Bacon + Egg. Smoked Fish Pate was very light and fluffy because the corn fritter was cooked to perfection. Next, the Beef Tartare, Smoked Gouda Grits and Cauliflower + Truffle. The sides were the heaviest of the bunch. This is when we started hitting the wall. I've always loved grits since I was a kid so seeing them on the menu brought me back. And the Cauliflower dish was nice and creamy. We definitely satisfied all of our urges besides the main course. The Smoked Duck Breast was a special for the night. A single breast with the most beautiful crispy and moist fat. Over creamy cassava, and roasted carrots with blueberries. And before you think that anything is wrong with this dish... it was the best thing we could have ended with. I suggest you get it if it's still on the menu.

Yelp
We went for dinner with a small group and tasted various salads, small plates and large plates. All the cocktails and dishes were delicious with interesting and thoughtful combinations. However, the plates - even the large ones- were so small they were difficult to share and barely enough food for one. The small plate had 1 ravioli for $25. So we were hungry when we left after paying a hefty bill. Worth the trip only if you want some light tasty fare just for fun. The food service was fine but it was so loud that it was hard to hear conversations at our table. So overall 3 stars for us.

Yelp
Very disappointed...wanted to love it but cant...cocktails were great and service was good...portions were extremely small (think cereal bowl) and steak was well done when requested medium. Menu tries to be exciting but is lacking in substance. And EXTREMELY $$$$$$ fora lack luster meal!

Yelp
The center has tons of restaurants but we decided on Brine for lunch. We got a table by the window and ordered a bunch of plates. Their salmon sushi is delicious (refreshing and salty) and their octopus was cooked nicely with a great sauce (but would have liked it with less olive oil/crust). Their lobster roll was warm and tasty with butter (though not as big a portion as other places). Overall we like this restaurant and would definitely go back for to taste more of their options.

Yelp
I'm not an oyster lover, so I never gave Brine a thought. My husband, who IS an oyster lover, suggested we go and that I try the filet. Well, I wasn't expecting to be blown away, but let me tell you, that was the best filet I've had locally in ages. Tender and cooked to perfection, and even the side of sweet potatoes was absolutely delicious. My husband got the pork chop for his entree and said it was, without question, the best pork chop he'd ever eaten. Give Brine Oyster Bar a try -- even if you don't love oysters! We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! Though it began to torrentially downpour while seated on the patio, the servers were nothing but positive and allowed us to continue sitting under the umbrella. We had cocktails, oysters, and the burrata toast, each of which we enjoyed! We will absolutely be returning to this lovely restaurant! Food was a bit overpriced for what we received but seemed to fit the restaurants in the area.
