Yelp
Our recent visit to Brio was unfortunately far from pleasant, mainly due to the poor service we received from our server, Sigi. We went to the bar area for happy hour and asked if it was open seating. Rather than a simple answer, Sigi rolled her eyes as if we should have known, which was frustrating, especially since it was our first time there.
After sitting down, we didn't receive a menu, leaving us to browse online, unsure if the happy hour options were updated. When Sigi returned and asked for our drink order, I asked for recommendations. Instead of helping, she rolled her eyes again and dismissively told me, "Everything is good, really," offering no guidance. Throughout our meal, she never checked on us but seemed to be attentive to every other table except ours.
When we ordered more food, she responded with, "That's it?" in a tone that made us feel like we weren't ordering enough. As we were still eating, she began clearing plates and repeatedly told us, "Thank you for coming, have a nice day," clearly trying to rush us out since her regulars were waiting for the table.
We did speak to the manager, Kelly, who was kind, but I doubt anything will change. With service like this, it's no wonder this place has a low rating on Yelp. If you're planning to visit, I suggest asking for a different server - ideally, someone who isn't having a bad day (or just go elsewhere and have a great time).
