Hamptons, Brio Tuscan Grille close permanently at Tivoli Village | Eater Vegas

"One of the original tenants when Tivoli Village opened in 2011, Brio Tuscan Grille has closed permanently; its parent company, FoodFirst Global Restaurants, filed for bankruptcy in April after shuttering 71 of its 92 remaining restaurants, leaving the futures of Brio at Town Square and sister concept Bravo Cucina Italiana at the Galleria at Sunset uncertain." - Susan Stapleton

Our waiter Fred was very professional, polite and tended to our needs. The manager Kelly was friendly and suggested other dishes to try next time. She has a real passion and it shows. The decor is warm and inviting. Very VERY clean! The food was outstanding! We ordered a risotto appetizer and it was busting with flavor! Was not dry, had plenty of mushrooms. The entrees were loaded and presented extremely well. All around fantastic experience and we can’t wait to come back!

We wanted to try something new and had always seen Brio but never stopped in before. Our server was wonderful! We chose to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, and the outdoor decorations were so pretty I couldn’t resist taking pictures. I ordered the steak medallions and my friend had the chicken Marsala — both dishes were delicious. Highly recommend!

Google
Outstanding experience thanks to Chef Johnny Had an incredible meal at BRIO Italian Grille, and a huge part of that was Chef Johnny. You can truly taste the care and passion he puts into every dish. Everything came out perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Chef Johnny clearly knows how to balance classic Italian flavors while keeping everything fresh and elevated. The consistency, attention to detail, and overall quality made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve had at Brio. If you’re dining here, you’re in great hands with Chef Johnny in the kitchen. I can’t wait to come back.

We used to go to Brio all of the time, then after covid it was different. We hadn't been in a while so figured we'd try again. The place was empty, maybe like 3 other tables when we were sat. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come over, then over 10 minutes for drinks to be brought. After dropping drinks the server just walked away instead of taking our orders. Then it was another 10ish minutes before they came back and took our order. Food was mediocre at best. Wedge salads were half wasted because half of the lettuce was brown. Shrimp and mushroom risotto was decent. Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken had zero flavor. The music playing was not fitting to the resturants atmosphere. Just an overall less than mediocre experience.

Shamill A.

Google
This place must have changed after covid. I DoorDash ordered Alfredo fettuccine with chicken and a tossed salad. Literally disgusting. I am one hundred percent sure the Alfredo was not homemade but from a jar. You can just taste it! the salad was also gross you can tell by looking at it that the lettuce was old and even the bread was hard as a rock. $40 for this. Olive Garden makes better pasta than that for a fraction of the price. Never again.

Google
Absolutely fantastic experience at Brio! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. The food was delicious — every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The best part of the evening, though, was the live music! It was such a pleasant surprise and really elevated the whole dining experience. The band created such an upbeat and enjoyable vibe that made our meal even more memorable. You normally would expect the same old pianist playing background music or worry the band might be too noisy for conversation. Not the case here! I don’t know where Brio found this band but it’s great to see they care to keep things fresh for their clientele. I can’t wait to come back — next time I’m definitely bringing my girl friends so they can enjoy it too. Highly recommend Brio for anyone looking for great food, great service, and an unexpectedly wonderful night out!

My family and I decided to spend Christmas Eve dinner here. Booked a reservation for 6pm and I’ll just say by 7:45pm we only still had water and bread at our table. I’m not sure who in particular would be responsible for this but the service overall was unacceptable. There were multiple times that our waitress and/or food runners plus the manager had brought out the wrong food to our table. We had ordered 3 alcoholic drinks that took over 45 minutes to get to our table, and we had to remind the server and manager what we exactly had ordered. Food wise… after waiting for over an hour and a half, the waitress had to ask us again about what food we ordered because apparently she had ‘wrote down the wrong item’. At the end of our dinner the manager of the restaurant had thankfully made it right for us, eliminating the check as a whole. I understand that it is the holiday, but it was just very unfortunate that we had planned to attend church at 8pm but could not make it due to how long everything took to get to our table. We would have never expected to be there for over 2 hours, and the table next to us was experiencing the same thing.

Google
Food was fantastic, service was amazing, but the best part was our server, Grace. She was genuinely so kind and went above and beyond with her job. We plan on coming back just to see Grace!

Yelp
Had a reunion with a friend and met there. Everything was perfect. The meal. The appetizer. The ambience But the best was the waiter Dave. He let us sit for hours. He was attentive and at same time gave us space He made our lunch the most perfect afternoon. Great spot. Will be back

Yelp
DISAPPOINTING to say the least. They do not have the most basic Italian menu. I settled on a chicken ceaser and my husband had a basic chicken pasta. Nothing to run back to. Worst of all was the service ! We served our drinks, appetizers but no utensils or bread. Nothing but excuses from the server, which happen to be training a new employee. Yikes! Good luck learning what not to do! My bill came out to $70 plus tip , even after the horrible service. Never again. What could improve? Lets start with service and next menu.

Yelp
We had a reservation for the time of opening with a large party for my future mother-in-law's birthday. We were seated quickly and given menus. The service from then on seemed to crawl slowly. After our drinks came, it took a long while before our orders were taken. After our orders were taken, it took another long while for our food to come out. The server was nice enough to find some honey to go with the tea I ordered, and he apologized for the delay. However, he also did not make much appearance to come see how service was and my water ran dry (to be far, I drink a lot of water during my meals). The food was okay. My fiance and I ordered the brunch burger and pizza to share. The burger was actually pretty delicious, but the amount of potatoes that came with it was crazy, like a child's handful. Maybe it could've been better presented to look like more, but it looked pitiful on the plate. The pizza was not bad, but it didn't stay upright when you grabbed a slice, which did not bode well for the undercooked sunny side up eggs on top. We mixed it up and spread it over the top of the pizza, but as you lifted a slice, the eggs just slipped off like snot. The place was nicely decorated for Christmas, but we also noticed upon walking in that some parts of the floor were extremely sticky. We didn't really see this as a good sign considering they had just opened their doors. Overall, I would recommend much better brunch places.

Yelp
I visited Brio for Thanksgiving Dinner and had the best experience. Our server Alexia made it a memorable holiday. She was friendly and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious and will definitely be back! If you visit ask for Alexia!

Yelp
We ate outside on the patio and they always start you off with some bread and butter. The service was fast but, we weren't allowed to use a coupon we received in our email we were told it was a scam but, seemed strange because everything in the email was their logo etc. Other than that the food was okay but, a little over priced for simple dishes.

Yelp
Went to Brio's for a seminar in the morning on wednesday 9/17 from 10-11:30 the person speaking had left at 11;30 didnt even stick around for any questions... ..then we were suppose to get a free lunch at 11;30 , we had to ask 3 times where is our lunch?...well we had to wait 20-25 to get our lunch , service was horrible ,there was one waiter and we werent even offered anything to drink, I asked to a box to go and still had to wait another 10 min. I couldn't wait to get out of there, People that ordered Maconi weren't even given bread with it, waiter just put a bowl of marconi in front of someone and thats it... the place has horrible service I would never go there for anything even a free lunch..

Yelp
Ordered takeout. Got a chicken ceasar salad. Salad was great, grilled chicken was perfect. Liked the dressing, could just have wanted a little more but other than that perfect and happy.

Yelp
I've come to this place before and thought it was at least decent if not wonderful. But my wife and I came tonight with a friend who we took out for her birthday and honestly, just an atrocious experience. Once we put our orders in the apps came pretty quickly. Birthday girl had an anemic looking Caesar salad that looked like around 50 cents worth of yellowish romaine, while the minestrone soup tasted like a cup of marinara with some vegetables. More than a half hour after our orders were in, our waiter briefly reappeared to let us know they were out of what my wife had ordered. It's crazy it took that long to tell us because it was not busy at all. The waiter claimed the kitchen never told him. Anyway, she made her selection, but we actually had to ask to have the dishes cleared from the first course, and entrees ultimately took about an hour to come out. In that time, our waiter never appeared to check on our drinks or for anything, actually. Just totally unconcerned and uninvolved. The entrees arrived. My shrimp and scallop risotto looked and tasted like it'd been sitting under a heat lamp for a while and wasn't good. Also, I didn't anticipate that they'd be serving this with small bay scallops at a price point over $30. There were two shrimp. The other entrees, a plate of spaghetti bolognese and a strip steak, were better, although the strip steak came out with the wrong vegetable. Honestly, the disinterested service was the worst part of it. I used to be in the restaurant business and I was stunned that in a full hour our server didn't even think to come by and check on us. When we waited over 20 minutes for drink refills, he didn't bother to apologize at all and just said he got busy. Narrator: it really wasn't busy. Anyway, I always pride myself on tipping well, but I'd never had such lousy service in a restaurant as I did tonight, and for the first time EVER I left less than 20%. Half of that in fact. I hope that management sees this, because this place has got some real problems. I wouldn't give it another chance.

Yelp
not the usual first place to think of when it comes to breakfast but we went there and it was deliciousss. They have scrumptious calamari - the obvious breakfast appetizer. There is also some fried peppers in there and 2 different sauces- the usual tomato sauce and a lemony white sauce. It was delicious and filling! Then we got 2 of the brunch specials- one almost eggs benedict food that had poached eggs on tenderloin on fried tomatoes. That was yummy and very unique. Then the cream cheese filled french toast with berries hit the spot. Everything was amazing and would love to come back!

Yelp
We live in Fishtown, and the closest Brio was in Cherry Hill, so we headed over the bridge at around 5:30 PM on a Thursday. Kim was working the bar, and we sat at a table in the bar area as we wanted more room. She was FANTASTIC! We noticed she was working a private room, the bar, the bar seating area as well as outside. We stopped her and asked if she was covering all of those spaces. She said, yes, I am, why? Am I not serving you properly? WOW! Now that's a server and an employee I'd like working for me! We had a glass of white wine and a martini from the happy hour menu. Not the best drink or wine, but it was $7, so I cannot complain. My husband ordered the flatbread with sausage, pepperoni, and ricotta cheese, which I believe was $7 or $8, which was larger than we expected. It was pretty tasty! I ordered the lasagna, and my husband ordered the chop salad. We decided we'd share both. Sadly, the taste of lasagna has changed since I ate it last. I don't know what new cheese is in it, but it was very sharp, and I wasn't a fan. I didn't eat that much of it as I just couldn't get past the sharpness. The chopped salad was delicious but on the small side. The bread was also brought to the table, and that was delicious. Kim continued to serve us with a smile. All-in-all, we had a lovely time and that's why I gave it four stars. Happy hour is worth it at the local Brio and I highly suggest you try it!

Mary D.

Yelp
After a very long day we were invited to dine outside on the patio. It was a beautiful night with pleasant weather and excellent service from Kam. She greeted us with a big smile, took our order without writing it down. The calamari was crisp and delicious, my salmon was perfectly grilled, served over a sweet potato hash. My companions loved the Seafood pasta dish and the butternut squash ravioli. I also noticed a diner with her pup, so the perfect night for me.

John S.

Yelp
I rarely write anything but felt the need to share our experience: My wife and I went in tonight for the first time to sit at the bar, ended up being in a rush for other plans but our bartenders Xaiver and Kat were beyond quick with their recommendations on our snack (calamari), impeccable cocktail skills, and offered genuine discussion that felt very personal along with comforting! Couldn't commend a better recommendation on the Strawberry Fresca and the Passionfruit Martinis. We were torn on our options but after answering a few questions of our typical tastes with X, we settled on the perfect choices. The new happy hour wings sounded to die for but we had to get going. We will be back without a doubt, especially for the service and more amazing conversation. 10 out of 10 experience.

Yelp
I give it a 5 star mostly bc of the bartender Kam, she was amazing she services the bar and all the high top table next to the bar. Had a tropical Cosmo and a Flirtini really good, had food also but forgot to take pictures had the Brio burger added lettuce & tomato came with fries and also had the margarita pizza was really good. Went during happy hour.

Yelp
Enjoy a fabulous meal last night with friends. It was our first time at Brio and we all raved at how amazing the food was, the wonderful and how nice and clean the restaurant is. We had the spinach and artichoke dip and the truffle garlic toast for an appetizer- the truffle garlic toast was amazing. And it was a really nice size portion. I ordered the grilled salmon salad for my entree and it was incredible. It plated more like an entree than a salad actually - not as many greens as I would have thought - but absolutely delicious. I didn't leave a crumb on my plate. Our waiter was Luigi and he was incredibly attentive and polite and provided great service. We'll definitely be back!!!!

Yelp
Came in for brunch with three friends. I've heard good things about their dinner. Brunch was fine. I started with a Bloody Mary. Didn't seem like any seasoning was mixed into the tomato juice. I got an egg scramble dish. It was good. The espresso martini was wonderful!! I'd come back to try dinner.

Yelp
Today we stopped at Brio Cherry Hill for lunch while we were out. I always loved their Chicken limone. It is now $30!! $30 for lunch? Are you kidding me? And my bf ordered a manhattan up. He didn't get the leftover on ice, like most restaurants do and they charged for it to be up! WTH!! This is so disappointing! This was always my go to restaurant. Not anymore!
google avatar

Kelli E.

Yelp
This was our first time at Brio, and all I can say is YUMMY! Our waitress/server was Kat. She was the best. She was very attentive and has great customer service. She answered all our questions with great knowledge of Brio's products. She also encouraged us to sign up for new items, savings, updates, etc. on Brio's website. The food was very good. Nice seasoning, meaning, we didn't need to use any salt and pepper. We got the gorgozola lamb chops, margarita Flatbread, caesar salad, chopped salad, SHRIMP FRA DIAVOLO. and salmon Fresca. The food was great, perfect portion size, nothing was cold/room temperature. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely request Kat again when we return.

Yelp
Wth has happened to Brio? It used to he one of my reliable stand-bys. Just got takeout from Cherry Hill Brio and it was HORRIBLE!!! I got chicken marsala, which is usually pretty good, but I guess when the staff knows they can just pack lackluster food up in a bag and not have to deal with you face-to-face while you eat it, they will throw any d-mn thing in there. My chicken was hard, dry and clearly microwaved. They gave me a tiny cup of gravy that wasn't enough to cover the chicken, let alone the mashed potatoes. I love charred veggies, but my asparagus was BURNT and entirely too chewy. The "bread" they gave me was a days-old BRICK. Whoever made this food was clearly having a bad day. I'm mad I paid $27 for this inedible garbage. PS-I just scrolled through the reviews before mine and I see Brio has been on the decline for a while now. Management needs to take the hint and make some changes. I won't be spending any money at Brio for the foreseeable future.

Katrina S.

Yelp
With each visit I have been very pleased. The food is always good and looks good too. Very knowledgeable, courteous and attentive wait staff. When I sit at the bar there's a waitress that is usually there who is very nice and engaging. This is a restaurant I would definitely recommend and will continue to return to.

Hillary A.

Yelp
You need to start with the carpaccio and the lamb with Gorgonzola! Excellent!! We had the shrimp and crab risotto and the lobster bisque. The bisque was a beautiful color and incredibly tasty. We recommend the caramel cheesecake to top it off. Everything was really good. The service today- Mother's Day- was excellent. The staff were nice. We sat outside and they had live music to enjoy with your meal. Highly recommend that you go and enjoy it all!!

Yelp
On the wa y up from Philly, my wife and I stopped by this place for our anniversary dinner. Mind you, we were down there for work and the area wasn't exactly known for good quality restaurants... they were all chains and Cheesecake Factory in the same mall had like 2 hour wait due to not having enough wait staff(!). So we walked across the lot to Brio Italian Grille which was probably only 20% full on this cold November night. Ambiance was decent with large and spacious booth and service was "there." We started with Carpaccio which sort of threw us off by coming on a giant elliptical dish with all this sauce drizzled over. But it was actually pretty good. We enjoyed it with their bread which was also warm and toasty. For main, we had their Sausage, Pepperoni & Ricotta flatbread which was light, crispy, and good to eat. A bit light on the portion as we finished it pretty quickly. Their Pasta Brio was probably my favorite dish of the night - rigatoni was cooked al dente and enjoyable with the roasted red pepper cream really coming through and tying everything together. Chicken was slightly tough though. Our waiter was this courteous young man but he took a bit long to check in on us when I was trying to order wine... and when I ordered a glass, he went and got it from the bar, and then proceeded to talk to his fellow staff for a good minute while holding my wine glass. I felt compelled to ask him to get me a new one but relented because he did hold it off to his right. Dessert was pretty forgettable as I can't remember what we had. So why 3 stars? Because none of the food was exceptional - I mean we were hungry and we enjoyed the food... but nothing about the place, the service, or the food wow'd us. I am not a food snob - I am not too proud to say I like certain chain restaurants like Cheesecake Factory, which I'd recommend over this place, but Brio just didn't excel in the one specialty they were supposed to be good at - Italian food. It just didn't excite me as an avid Italian food junkie. Carrara's and Macaroni Grille would be my pick over this one every.single.time because at those places I can taste quality and attention to detail. Go to Cheesecake instead.

Yelp
Happy hour review. Unfortunately no photos. $7 drinks and limited appetizers Wednesday $6 martinis. Appetizers include: calamari, sausage and pepperoni flatbread, margarita flat bread, Caprese salad, burger, carpaccio Burger is the best deal nice size good flavor, cooked to order with potato wedges.
google avatar

Gabby T.

Yelp
The service was really good. I tried one of their new dishes, shrimp scampi. I really tried to like it and add seasoning, but the lemon overpowered the dish. It was like lemon pasta. I ordered the pepperoni flatbread and it was good. I'd come back to try other dishes.
google avatar

Philip Y.

Yelp
Come in here to celebrate my birthday for dinner. I ordered Salmon Salad and my wife had Grilled Salmon Pasta. The pasta plate had a bit too much sauce, so I had to help her finish the plate. In general, the selections are good, but nothing really outstanding and the price is a bit pricy.

Taylor A.

Yelp
Manager KELLY is amazing! Very organized and good at her job! I hosted my micro wedding/ large elopement here of 22 people ! YESTERDAY yes 1 day after getting married I'm writing a review because that's how amazed I am by them. XAVIER he also goes by X was our waiter and WOOOOOW! He went above and beyond! He pretty much did the serving all by himself with the help of 1 male busser. He ironed our table clothes with his own iron! To make everything perfect! He remembered the names of all my guest & was so quick with refills on drinks and bread! No one had an empty plate or cup the whole time. He set up the room the night before and changed tables 4 times until I liked the set up! He was passing out drinks and food while saying our names, complimenting guest on their attire, Making jokes & smiling. Never ever in my life have I had such an amazing waiter or staff personnel ! Xavier made me feel like a princess and my guest loved him! He will be such a key part of my memories and I couldn't be more grateful for him. The food was amazing! The room was set up exactly to my liking and the staff followed every direction perfectly. Brio has a loyal customer from me and my family. Thank you brio, Kelly and Xavier for making my wedding day amazing! Also they have beautiful spots for photos! My photographer was able to get pictures in 3 different parts of the restaurant! I highly recommend the sangria, pork chop & lamb chops. My sister said the espresso martini was amazing & strong ! And my very picky toddler liked his pasta with red sauce

Yelp
Came here for a family dinner! Other than waiting around 20 minutes (we had an online reservation already), the server made everything worth it! Good food, good price. I forget our server's name since we went a few weeks ago but he was very nice & helpful when it came to suggestions.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Kim, the bartender/waitress/groundskeeper LOL, was the best! These chains are like Olive Garden on steroids, but seriously the food was good and Kim worked really hard to enhance the experience!
google avatar

Alex O.

Yelp
This place is bad and I don't want to come here ever again. The steak was over cooked. I asked for medium but got well done. I should have said something but I don't like wasting food. Anyway, I also tried the penne al vodka. The spicy sauce tasted a little bit like curry. Strange. Also the chicken was drier than the Sahara desert. I was going to get the dessert but I'd rather go somewhere else after the disappointing entrees. The service was good. Nothing wrong. It's just the food that was a major let down.

Chris C.

Yelp
My wife and myself ordered the so called lobster and shrimp. The call themselves tricking you into thinking you have lobster in your plate. The shred little tiny pieces and spread them around. They charged $32.00 for a $15.00 meal. Then the manager offered us an ice cream like we are kids. Take your money elsewhere

Owen D.

Yelp
The ambiance was cool. The food took a long time to get outl, our dinks took a while to. My chicken in my pasta was dry. My food was not bad but it did not have a lot of flavor. Our wader was nice.
google avatar

Paulie M.

Yelp
I went here with my family for Mother's Day, first time going for me. The place was very nice, busy, but as expected for a major holiday, so no surprises here. Waiter was very nice, very kind to each member of my family and very careful with each order. The kitchen however was a little slow. Whether it be drinks, food, or desert, the food came out in about 30 minutes or more. The items were not off temperatured though, so that was a plus. The food was excellent, very flavorful and seasoned perfectly. Would definitely recommend to families and couples alike, great restaurant, and good waiters/waitress'.
google avatar

Leslie R.

Yelp
Usually love this place but the service has gone downhill! Came for the HH. Out of a lot of things, waitress was curt and rude. Seems they were short staffed. Sad because this place was good

Albert F.

Yelp
Came there to order To go 55 dollars for a chicken parm and a pork chop meal. Ended up throwing both in the trash. Over cooked bland an over all terrible experience so little garlic a vampire could enjoy it. Asparagus burnt to a crisp. What cost me two hours of my life at work was stolen buying this meal
google avatar

Kristen D.

Yelp
Everything during my dinner was phenomenal! Sergio was one of the best servers I've ever had!
google avatar

LaShon A.

Yelp
My family of 8 have been seated at our table for TWO HOURS and STILL have not received our entrees. The manager came to our table OVER an hour ago saying they had to switch our server because they had gotten a large party in AFTER us. Why were we pushed to the back of the line when we were here first⁉⁉. Our poor server was dumped on and has tried to do Her best. She brought our entrees out and they were ALL cooked wrong‼‼‼After ANOTHER hour ANOTHER manager came to our table and told us that She would be recooking all of our Steaks and comping our meals. That was THIRTY minutes ago‼‼. We've come to this location every Easter for the last 3 years and this is the WORST service we've EVER RECEIVED‼‼ The only redemption was our server D and the second manager G. We were very disappointed and aren't sure if we will return.
google avatar

Kibitzer T.

Yelp
Straight up, 3.6 out of 5 stars. Not horrible& I get that run off a corporate template but it's good if you want to have some dinner after running to the grocery store in the same plaza. Not phenomenal buy it is convenient.
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
Stopped here for happy hour and our bartender Kam was out of this world! We have been here a few times with her and she is so personable, attentive and friendly. $7 drinks and apps can't be beat. Go visit her, you won't be disappointed!!

Kim C.

Yelp
Food is usually very good but tonight my daughter had a shrimp and scallop risotto and it had 3 shrimp. It cost $32 but it wasn't worth it. The lamb, salmon and other dishes were fine.
google avatar

Cydney B.

Yelp
Absolutely as expected. Solid, checks the box, but don't expect to be wowed. If based just on the food, 3 stars, but had to add an extra star because the service was excellent. We were totally taken care of, immediately greeted, sat in accordance with all COVID protocols on time for our reservation, and our server Cam was awesome. 3.5 stars is probably an accurate rating but rounded up for the service.

Lindsay D.

Yelp
This dish was underwhelming. With the ingredients listed, i expected much more flavor. It was pretty bland and disappointing. Our service wasn't great either. The waitress forgot to give us silverware and realized it when she gave us our bread, and said she would be right back with it, which she wasn't. We ended up having to just smear our bread across the butter. She was running around, so I do understand being busy can make you forget things easily.. but providing silverware is a basic step in food service, especially once food has already been served.

Yelp
First Time that I visited this restaurant with my family beautiful, cozy , delicious Food , Great service , Kim our server was friendly, Helpful Would highly recommend it to anyone who comes to Voorhies NJ .

Yelp
Italian spot with good food. Service is great and the atmosphere is typical of a chain restaurant. Can't really complain about this spot.

Yelp
Well, one can always proclaim loudly THANK GOODNESS for GREAT SERVICE because on some days service is what saves the day! Such is my story of the BRIO ITALIAN GRILLE in Cherry Hill an option chosen because their neighboring eatery had an hour and a half wait time. Suspicions should have been raised upon discovering that there was no wait at all. Once our experience was complete it was fully understood why people were willing to wait an hour and a half rather than stopping by at 'THE GRILLE.' It is the time of COVID precautions so yes, the staff and policies all seemed to adhere to the rules for everyone's safety. Perhaps that might have been worthy of a positive half star but nah ... I will leave this review at two stars. The greeting was warm ... but upon requesting the wine list shock therapy was needed. A glass of wine from $15???? FIFTEEN DOLLARS ... now I am not cheap with this is a shopping center-based restaurant that labels itself as a grille not an exquisite intimate 'restaurante' with all the implied charm that comes through the name ... this is a GRILLE targeting shopping center customers at least that is how they market themselves. Taking out the calculator wisdom shifted to purchasing a bottle of vino .... the choice with its Italian name from winery located in Italy's Abruzzo Region sounded like a possibility. And, we certainly hoped it would be at FORTY FOUR DOLLARS a bottle. Upon leaving THE GRILLE I discovered that my local winery was selling this Italian bottle for $14.95. My complaint was not with the smooth red liquid 'with legs' that was poured into the clean clear wine goblets but at the sense of being 'taken' even in this time when I tend to be generous towards restaurants that remain open. Oh please give me a BYOB or a restaurant whose mark-up charges are only 40-50% over the retail market cost. Did I mention that the server was fun and welcoming? No one was very hungry but flatbread pizza seemed to be a good choice. Well, it was a good choice if you enjoy a large saltine cracker ... one in the group suggested it was matzoh ... with pink flavorless tomato slices randomly placed across the cracker ... oops the flatbread ... and some cheese and maybe garlic. No melted cheese ... no gooeyness, no sauce, no taste except for the taste of a bland saltine cracker. NEVER EVER EVER EVER order a flatbread at BRIO if you even consider going to this overpriced GRILLE at some time in your life (Remember that the hour and a half wait at the neighboring eatery is well worth it even though I don't like that chain's overly heavy food.). Oh, I hope I didn't forget to tell you the server was outstanding! He was willing to take the cracker back but we said no. We did tell him to NEVER EVER recommend the BRIO Flatbread to anyone ever! We really didn't glance at the bill but he did take the CRACKER's cost off of our tab. However, the only stars this place deserved were his and he received a very generous tip ... sort of an excessive amount matching the excessive charge for the bottle of wine! Don't worry ... I'll never return but I am going to buy a few bottles of that wine (I just found it online for $9.95 a bottle; might do a case. So THANK YOU GRILLE in the SHOPPING CENTER for introducing me to a new wine to enjoy.)!

Yelp
Service was terrible. Probably the worst service I have ever gotten at at restaurant. We waited about 20 minutes to just get our drinks! Then our waiter who took our order never brought out my dads soup. Our apps and entrees eventually came out but some things were wrong. Food wasn't even hot. By the end of the dinner i had to ask for the check myself because this waiter had no sense of urgency and didn't know what he was doing. What made it worse was it was my birthday and the experience was just horrible in every way.

Yelp
Haven't been to Brio since I lived in Chicago so it's been a while! While I tend to not eat too much at chain restaurants, Brio is one of those exceptions! When my husband and I first arrived, the hostess was not at the entrance and it took about 5 awkward minutes just standing there waiting to be acknowledged. It wasn't a busy time either and people that were seated just looked at us probably feeling awkward for us as well lol. Finally she came and seated us right away. Sat in one of their booths, and my booth seat was ripped. Oh well.. just scooted right over it! These were probably my only complaints! Food was great! Still as good as I remember it was! You get complimentary bread for the table. I ordered the Rose sangria.. a little to sweet for me.. I should have just ordered a wine to go with my pasta.. but it sounded interesting to me. My husband went with a great Pinot noir. Must haves: - Lobster Bisque - sooooo good.. flavors were on point and good amount of lobster in it. I basically licked my bowl clean! - Shrimp and Lobster Fettucine -tasted so creamy and not as heavy as fettucine usually is! It was light but still with lots of flavor. Plenty of shrimp and lobster in it. Usually when I get this pasta.. the shrimp to pasta ratio is never enough protein.. but it was a good amount of shrimp and lobster. Would definitely order it again. - Mushroom Ravioli - When i first received my order, I was disappointed. It appeared that it was going to be bland and it didn't even have any sauce on it. But when I tasted it, it had lots of flavor and it didn't even need any sauce to go with it. That's how good it was. So don't be deceived by the simplicity of how it looks! Flavors were on point! Service was great. I believe it must have been either manager or owner, but she was walking around and came up to our table just to find out how dinner was and how our food came out. She was very nice and we appreciated her stopping by. We told her everything was great. It's good to see when they care about their customers! This place.. although a chain... it's got really great food! So if you've got a taste for pasta, it's not a bad place to go!

Yelp
I usually don't write reviews about a place, but this has been the worst experience of my life. I came to Brio for my birthday and at first I was asked if I would like to be seated inside or outside. After first I did choose outside but then me and family decided to do insid. Then we told the waiter that we were sitting insid we told the host and she gave us a table inside. When we went to sit inside we were waiting for 20 minutes for a waiter. Then we were told that we didn't have a waiter. Luckily this guy who is a waiter for a different section took our order. But still we don't have a waiter so we have no idea who will bring our checks. While we are eating a family sat behind us being in our section an comes to find out a waiter appear for them. Overall the food is good just wish better communication.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour a couple weeks ago. My first venture out into the burbs of Jersey for happy hour and wasn't sure what to expect. A surprisingly nice experience! Bartenders and servers were quite nice, even though it was clearly a stressful & busy time. We initially got a table near the bar, but we had a baby with us so they actually let us know that another table that would be better to have the baby at opened up, which was a nice gesture. Got a couple cocktails off the happy hour menu. Prices were great, and while drinks weren't anything ground breaking, they were good. Same thing with the food. Nice vegetarian options. Again the Margherita pizza wasn't earth shatter, but was just done well. Same with the caprese salad. Great happy hour, nice staff, food was solid. Would come back for sure.

Yelp
I do realize that a holiday is a rough time for everyone. However, my friends and I had a reservation; I arrived and was told by the hostess that I was the first to be there and to have a seat in the foyer. Time went by, and I grew worried about my friends, who were traveling together. After 20 minutes I phoned them, and they had been waiting for me at the table. The same hostess who told me they had not arrived had seated them 5 minutes before I got there! There was no crowd, although the restaurant was busy. This is unforgivable. I made a comment to the person at the reception desk, and he relayed the message, as the hostess came to the table to apologise, and comp our appetizer. Well, when the bill came, not only had she NOT removed the appetizer from our bill, she had left for the day. Happily, our waitress made it right. As to the food, way too salty. I had noticed this the first time I had gone there. This was the second time, and most likely, the last.

Yelp
My husband and i visited Brio at Cherry Hill which was highly recommended by a coworker. We got there 30 mins after they opened so there were just 3 groups of people inside the restaurant but service was slow. Employees were more interested in chatting with one another than catering to their customers. One customer helped herself to one of the booths coz she said that there wasn't anyone manning the front desk. I ordered the Pasta Brio and my hubby ordered the Bolognese. Both were OK but the chicken in my pasta was dry and hard! Both dishes didn't leave a memorable taste in the palate. They were just average. The mango iced tea was good. There are better places to spend your hard earned money...sorry.
