Brio Italian Grille

We ate here last night. I had the Grilled Salmon Salad it was good but I’ve had better there. The Salmon was slightly overcooked. My husband had the Spaghetti and Meatballs which is a new dish he said everything about it was very good the sauce and the meatballs all delicious. We also got warm garlic rolls which you have to pay for. They no longer have free bread. The rolls were very tasty. It took over thirty minutes to get our food so the manager comped us a dessert. We chose the Warm Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Gelato it was very yummy. The prices at the restaurant have increased quite a bit. We hadn’t been there in about a year so it was quite noticeable to us. Service was good the waiter kept coming by our table and apologizing for the food taking so long.

This was our first time visiting this location. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience for us. It started with the hostess when we walked in. She didn't give a smile or even a "how are you?" Or a "welcome in". Then once we were seated we noticed we could smell the bathrooms from the middle of the restaurant where we were seated. I had to ask to be moved closer to the kitchen to not smell it, but even from there we could smell it. Our server was nice but would take long time in between getting back to us and we noticed this was because she would be texting on her phone. For the positives. The food tasted good. The serving sizes were good also. One person at the table got the lasagna and I can say it is big enough for two people.

Brio has very delicious food! I don't think I've ever not enjoyed the food there. Recently, I got the shrimp and scallops risotto, and it was scrumptious. My husband always gets the pork chops, and he is always pleased with them. The service is great, also. One thing I was not too pleased with was that they used to give complimentary bread, and now they charge for the bread. I understand that it costs a lot to run a restaurant now, but they have raised the prices of the food, and nickle-and-diming customers for things that were once included seems a bit stingy to me. 🤷‍♀️ Also, they may want to have more than one bartender on the weekends. We had to wait quite a while for some non-alcoholic drinks we ordered that apparently could only be prepared by the one bartender, who was kept busy by a large, very thirsty party. But the food was delicious, and our server was very nice and attentive, so we will probably be back!

Amazing! From the moment my dad, little brother and I walked in, we were greeted kindly and we were seated down quickly by the host, Jake. He brought extra crayons for my little brother and my brother was able to color on the table paper, which was great! Then our server Roni, was quick with our orders and knew the menu very well. I ordered the Pasta Brio and I was able to replace it with my favorite sauce, the vodka sauce! I had a great time with my family at Brios. The host and server were respectful, quick, and kind to us. I will definitely be coming again, next time with my mom! Grateful for an amazing experience at this great restaurant in Sarasota.

Recently went to this location for dinner with my family. The first thing we experienced was a wonderful host greeting us and then a very pleasant and knowledgeable server. This kicked off a wonderful night which continued with fantastic food. The Lasagna and Carpaccio were delicious. I can’t remember a better one in recent memory. And the portion sizes were incredible. Would definitely recommend Brio and specifically this location

Brio Italian Grille is awesome! The decor is beautiful, inviting and comfortable. I went there with my wife for our anniversary Our server, Parish was awesome! He knows the menu, has great recommendations on the drinks. He pays attention to his guests and made the overall experience that much better! He's a solid gent! Now, the food… WOW! The food is phenomenal! The flavors entertain the palate in the most wonderful way! Even the sauces that came with the calamari appetizer! The tiramisu melts in your mouth. The bartender knew what they were doing with that old fashioned! On a scale of 1 to 10 I rate this whole experience a 20. We will definitely be back!!!

Another enjoyable visit to Brio. My wife and I enjoy eating here and have done so on many occasions. Today, we had lunch. We ate from the special lunch menu - nice selection of menu items, smaller portion sizes (which we appreciate) and reduced pricing. Brio’s food is flavorful and satisfying. Today our server was Diedre - what a pleasant, friendly and fun server she was. She was responsive and eager to ensure our meal was a wonderful experience. We enjoy the upscale casual and usually quiet atmosphere. This is one of our “go to” places. We highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience at Brio Italian Grille, and a big part of that was thanks to Destiny! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She knew the menu inside and out, gave fantastic recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her timing was spot-on—always there when we needed something, but never intrusive. You can tell she truly cares about giving guests a great experience. The food was delicious, but Destiny’s service made the night unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!
