I expected a lot better from Bristol Farms. I picked up this “Egg & Cheese Breakfast Burrito” for $8.99, assuming it would use real cheddar or something of comparable quality. Instead, it tasted like cheap American cheese — processed, oily, and artificial. The label confirms it’s a “pasteurized process cheese,” which explains the rubbery texture and bland flavor. For a store that promotes high standards and gourmet ingredients, this was a letdown. At nearly nine dollars, this shouldn’t taste like a fast-food breakfast sandwich. Definitely not what I expect from Bristol Farms.

Bristol Farms on Sunset is where it's at! Incredible selection, attentive staff, and you got the self-checkout option.

I have been to this Bristol market only a few times, and the one located in Pasadena, but today I was nearby doing a service call, it was a hot day and I was so thirsty that I decided to stop by to grab some water, while looking around I saw they have chaga-chino coffee and I couldn't resist to grab one , plus a bottled water. In my personal opinion it was ok, I felt the strong regular coffee flavor and not that kind of earthy-flavor, the person who did the coffee is very friendly, and helpful, I know is not a coffee shop, however I wanted to try, it might have been tasty and I could stop by again whenever I'm nearby. But still doesn't mean I won't go again, they have a nice selection of food and cheesecake, even cooked food, and I saw sushi,for those sushi lovers,. Is totally worth a visit,.

The service here is unmatched! I lost some rings and was retracing my steps and the manager Manny took time out of his day to look at the camera for me to see if he could help me find them. He went as far to keep looking after we got off the phone and then call me back when he found another angle. You don’t often find people who care about helping others like that too often. If you see this Manny, I appreciate you so much!!

I ordered flowers from you twice and twice when they were delivered and my woman put them in a vase, they fell off.

This place is great but the meat department needs serious help. I’m convinced they have no real butcher working and they have random employees trying to cut meat. The cuts of meat are all wrong, mangled, and just poor quality. For the price I would expect better cut meat. Please do something because this has only gotten worse over the last 6 months.

The BEST flower quality, selection, variety and service. Sandra is INCREDIBLE! So thoughtful. Will pull and create the perfect vision based on exactly what you’re looking for. They wrap everything perfectly for gifts as well. The entire experience is super convenient. You can be as specific or broad as needed, and they will create the perfect combination while you shop in the store.

Hello , So I stop your store yesterday . And I had the pleasure of being helped by xochil at the register . I was having a very bad day as my car had gotten towed and I walked over here for a snack . I grabbed a cookie and she made a joke about how she likes eating cookies and milk . Which I thought was hilarious. I mean she really turned my day around . I will come Back just to hear this sweet little angel crack some more jokes. You guys have a rockstars . Have a great Christmas and please take care of my cookie buddy .

I love this place. I've been coming here for 20 years and will probably keep coming for another 20. Yes, it's pricey, but it's convenient, the team is great, the selection is impressive for a small store, and the meat, fish, and produce are top quality. BUT my one-star rating is an act of protest. Why? Checkout here has been a disaster ever since they introduced self-checkout. I use self-checkout at Ralph's all the time. Once you get past the short learning curve, it works. But Bristol Farms has committed to an automated system that's flat-out broken. Not once have I attempted checking out without the system telling me an item I've scanned needs to be manually keyed in by a store associate. Today, it was a pineapple and a candy bar. It happens EVERY time. There's no way the store manager hasn't noticed that most customers at this location avoid self-checkout like the plague. And as a result, the line of customers waiting for human cashiers is unnecessarily long. Everything about this "innovation" has damaged the customer experience. I get that automation saves money, but this system is neither user-friendly nor efficient. This is an expensive store, however they seem hell bent on creating the most sub-standard experience imaginable for their customers. p.s. Ralph's has a full time staffer always on hand to support self-checkout customers. At Bristol Farms, they get to it when they get to it.

I'm a regular at this grocery a store. I'm there at least 3 times/week. Be very careful with the boxed sushi. It was ROTTEN on 3 different occasions. I'm talking potential food poisoning rotten. The reason might be that their sushi display is completely open and seems to lack temperature control. They claim to throw out all unsold sushi every night, which is a lie. I've been there right before closing and have seen unsold sushi on display the next morning. Other than that, the staff is friendly, except one rude lady who works at the bakery counter.

My wife and I love Bristol Farms. We usually go to the location in El Segundo and have always received great service. We stopped by this location today,on my wife's birthday and she saw the bottle in the picture behind a secuirty glass. She says "that's a beautiful bottle and it's on sale, let's get it." The bottle is behind glass so I snap the picture and show it to the associate in the front and tell him I'd like the bottle. When they scan the bottle, the price comes to $327. The manager "Tom" goes back and grabs another bottle and tells me, "this is the bottle on sale, not that one." I show him the picture I showed the associate with the price on sale and he says "that's not the bottle and I won't honor that price." I don't argue with people but that's definitely bad business Tom. Great business but as a manager, terrible service and very unprofessional.

The food is delicious! I love going for their cookies. The customer service is always the best . and the ambience is very welcoming.

The people working here are super nice, but there are some quality control issues here. Almost every time I'm here, there are fully rotten and moldy fruit and vegetables proudly on display. Check everything carefully!!!

I just want to share the best experience I had with my friends for are Thanksgiving dinner. We bought the dinner meal well organized and good. We actually for this cider that we never had try . So we bought couple of them and we liked the honeycrips one. They gave us good costumer service. The service in the store was good, the girls that give the meals where so nice to us. I could say my friends and family enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks again to the team in Sunset store.

Baby mama was pumped to try shrimp tempura sushi roll. It looked so good she couldn't even wait to get home to stuff her face (remember she's eating for dos) so she ate it with her hands on the walk home The roll was actually a decent size which was a plus, only took half a roll to fill 'er up. Her only complaint at the time was too much rice Next thing I know I get out of the shower and hear groaning along with multiple toilet flushes "Honey, you okay?!" I ask as it's not normal for her to take so long in there and make these noises. She is about eight months pregnant so I thought she might be going into labor!! "It was the shrimp" I hear in a faint, quaky voice. "It's not over yet" she informs me as she finally joins me in the kitchen Long story short avoid the shrimp tempura roll unless you need a bowel clean out ! And my tenders were pretty dry too sorry no pic

Super tiny market and ok for getting necessities. You might not find what you're looking for here versus a bigger store. I have seen some people linger in this parking lot in the evening.

I haven't been to Bristol Farms in a while now. This was my first time visiting and this one is tiny compared to the others. The bakery items looked delicious so I got a crème brûlée, I can't remember the guys name in the coffee shop but he offered to make a drink for my bf since he wanted a coffee but he said it wasn't fresh since it was going to be thrown out. He was super friendly and he made a delicious latte. Bristol farms is overpriced, I've been going to Trader Joe's and they seem pretty similar just pricing is pretty different. The store is really cramped tho so just getting through can get annoying. We got some beautiful flowers but they didn't come with the flower food so they died pretty quick which is a shame because they were beautiful and long stemmed roses ($27). I will come back for desserts and I will give the roses another chance as well.

this is my favorite Bristol farms store. they're always very friendly and helpful. the food is also very good.

Against my better judgement, went back to BristolmFarms on Sunset. I waited 6 minutes before anyone showed up. I ordered 2Lbs.ground lamb. The person who help me didn't know what that looked like. She had no clue. Under what criteria does Bristol Farms hire their employees specially the ones working behind the counter they have no clue absolutely no clue. At least the one that helped me . for the prices they charge they should expert service people.

Dear Bristol Farms corporate, I have been a regular bakery customer for many years because of Charlotte Brown 's friendly, welcoming personality, knowledge and skills in baking. Please keep her at the Hollywood store, where the customers love and appreciate her so much. Please do not transfer her!

Do not shop here. It's where the spoiled food from other Bristol Farms goes to rot and die. The other locations are great. If this is the putrid food clearance outlet, be honest and price accordingly. Thy make no effort to make the food attractive. Steaks are grey, chicken looks crusty and the prepared food is absolutely disgusting. Just today I bought sliced Havarti cheese with spots of mold, sliced ham that was spoiled and delicious stale Brioche buns. Stay away. It's actually life threatening.

Dear Bristol Farms Management, As a daily patron of this store, I am writing to express my deep appreciation for Charlotte in the Coffee & Bakery Dept.'s outstanding service. She has cultivated a loyal customer base, and many of us will be very disappointed if she is transferred to another location. Her personal touch fosters a sense of community that has been unmatched since I moved from New York. Charlotte takes great pride in her work, and I was dismayed to learn earlier this week that she will be moving to the Pasadena store. I stopped in at Bristol Farms Premium Market to purchase dinner from the hot foods deli which boasts a fair selection of main plates, soups, and salads. I chose Roasted Turkey, Mashed Potatoes with brown gravy, and asparagus which I found delicious and very satisfying. If you are in mood of a hot sandwich Bristol Farms Deli also offers a good selections of sandwiches. Bristol Farms is a market offering groceries, produce, fresh meats, seafood, fresh baked breads and pastries. The market staff are friendly and happy to help their customers

Decided to switch it up and try the Bristol Farms in Hollywood for a change. It is just off the Sunset Strip. There is free outdoor parking. Bristol Farms is a high end market and they also have other locations. The only Bristol Farms I'd been to prior to this location is the West Hollywood location. This location is much, much smaller. This store is more of a neighborhood market than a supermarket. It has a small town vibe. They have the basics but they do not have variety. There were many items I could not find at this market just because they just don't have the space of the other location. For example, they only had one option for shredded cheese, only one type of quinoa etc. Both were not what I was looking for. I noticed the people in line had only a few items. It's not a store for a big shopping trip but good for a quick stop. A lot of people seemed to be buying the prepared food here. They only had one table and chair space outside. It's pretty much a "to go" market. The shopping carts are also on the smaller side. One frustrated lady came in with her toddler and asked if there were carts she could put her child into as she did her shopping. There were not any carts that had a seat for a child. You could tell she was not pleased about the situation. One very positive thing about this store that deserves five stars is the customer service which is top notch. The store manager, Alan, is fabulous and attentive. He will help you find what you need if they have it. The checkout line was also very efficient and when the line got long they got more tellers to help. If you are the type of person that likes good service and just need the basics or prepared food and appreciate good customer service, than this store is for you. However, if you need to do a big shopping trip or need a big shopping cart to fit a kid and groceries then this would not be the best choice. Overall though, it's a nice Bristol Farms and I would go there if I needed to run in for something basic if I was close by.

My girlfriend had just moved into the area and received a coupon packet in the mail. In my time we'd always pass by Bristol Farms driving down Sunset and were always curious to check it out. We decided to give it a try for the first time on Sunday January 7th 2024. We were very pleased by the items that they carried and the layout was very clean and easy to navigate. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about this place as the customer service was downright shit. I was in the alcohol section browsing their selection out of curiosity and in no time as I turned to leave that section of the store I was immediately greeted by a female security worker who was so close to me that I almost fell on top of her not expecting someone to be trailing that close to me. I apologized but I immediately knew that they believed that I was looking to pocket one of their items. She followed closely behind me and almost ushered me out of the alcohol section. When I regrouped with my girlfriend we made our way to the self check out and as we were about to scan our first item one of the cashiers yelled at us and told us to not use self check out but instead check out with him. He made a snarky comment under his breath but because of his thick accent I could understand what he had said. We scanned without issue and we made our way outside. However, I know that based on the way that these two individuals carried themselves they believed that we were looking to pocket items and also skip scan items in an attempt to get away with free stuff. In all my years of living here I had never experienced such garbage customer service and the profiling is absolutely disgusting and the establishment and its employees should be ashamed. I work in customer service myself and for a larger company than Bristol Farms and even then we never treat our guests in such a rude manner. I will never be stepping foot here again and I will make sure to let everybody in my area know not to shop here if you are a brown person like myself. This is not a one off experience as some others have left similar reviews of profiling. Please do better and fix your horrendous service and for the quality of items that you have you have no reason to be so full of yourselves!

I cant even count how many times Ive walked out of that store. Horrible management. Can never get service in deli. Theres always a girl working at the deli area packaging products and she just ignores customers by the hot buffet area. Why dont you GET A BELL.....so customers dont wait or leave or never come back. She can ring it so they employees can be alerted. Or spend a 100 dollars and get a baby monitor. Put the camera at the deli counter and the monitor in the back area. Wow such an effin genius They need lessons on customer service

I wanna share my experience shopping for produce. Everything in the department looks fresh, well organized, Good customer service, there's this one young lady I believe jess is her name shoutout to her very very helpful. I like that everyone in the store is nice and polite. There environment is super clean , floors , aisles, the restock is awesome THANK YOU BRISTOL FARMS

I love to shop in these store, I had an amazing experience because I was able to find all of my stuff for the 4th of July essentials. I want to say that they always have fresh cookies,the hot bar has good food for lunch time. The people in that store are so nice and they are helpful with everything. I would recommend these store to my friends and family.

This place was open early and since we were staying near West Hollywood we walked 10 minutes. This place is great. So much in a little store. We found raw milk which is hard to find in the LA area. There is a poke bar--fresh baked items--cakes $43 for carrot cake--produce--bought some red grapes--salads--bottle water with good prices and so much more.

The sandwiches here are amazing! The staff is also warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!

I shop at this store 3 to 4 times a week. Never have i been treated like I was tonight. I was spoken rudely by an associate and then dismissed. She dismissed me snd started to help the next person in line. I had to bag my own items. I told her she was rude and acting like a bitch which she was. I was then chased down in the parking lot by her co associate who lunged at me and told me to never come back. I was attacked as a gay man. Don't ever shop here . I only pay the prices of this store because of the service but that has stopped.

Fresh and delicious. We had the grilled chicken sandwich. I don't know if I can even explain how delicious it was. $10.99, Sandwich and your choice of salad from the deli bar. If you're not a big eater I would suggest sharing a sandwich and salad with someone. Delicious!

Please train your people at the deli to get familiar how to handle, clean and slice the cold cuts!! It is the second time i come back there to get some bresaola then some prosciutto and the lady, first doesn't even know what they are and i have to point them at her, second does an horrible job at slicing properly and making sure she get rid of the outside part that nowhere on earth are served to the customer. Let alone giving that crap to an italian that knows exactly how all that is served. Hope this will help putting your guy at the deli straight. Those are expensive products and need to be handle by someone who knows.

Beautiful store with some different products. Caviar? Champagne? They have it. Freshly baked bread? Charcuterie? Cheeses galore? YES. Produce, meats, fish - everything looks top notch. Went during the holidays so it was busy. Got in and out quick. Will go back to spend a little more time perusing.

I've been here twice now in the last 2 weeks and I have to say I genuinely enjoy this place. They have great hot and cold food sections, sushi and fresh soups. Their wine selection is amazing and lots of decently priced bottles. Their half sourdough loaf and sparkling grapefruit soda have been my favorite items purchased. My boyfriend and I have stopped by on Saturday afternoons to find plenty of parking. Customer service has been good, nothing superior or unsatisfactory; just average. This isn't our regular grocery store, but it's definitely nice to stop by occasionally to grab some special treats!

If there is a .5 then this supposed VERY RUDE MANAGER by the name of Carolina B deserves it. Incident revolved around returning chocolate milk bottles which qe ordered from Instacart Bristol Farms - naturally when we went to the Bristol Farms in Sunset we brought it along and tried to return it. This Carolina B. person snapped at us and said it was not from their store loudly so I showed her my Instacart app with the appropriate purchase and pointed out to her the chocolate milk purchase- still she said they do not carry it. She could have been more diplomatic and kinder in handling us BUT NO, she was rude, rude, rude and we felt like she wanted to insist a point. No point in arguing with this one hell of Bristol employee! Too bad, you lost a customer

Lovely clean delicious foods, fresh, packaged or orders accepted. Tasty variety of soups, fresh Asian, American, food sections, large wine collection as well as fresh bakery. Live this place!

I was here for Easter last week. I ordered a prime rib for Easter and it was amazing and my whole family was extremely impressed. There was this new butcher named Juan Rios who was patient enough to listen to what I was trying to accomplish for my family on Easter. He took how serious my request was for something amazing and made it fresh right before my eyes. I was taken aback by how extremely accommodating he was to me and my request that I felt heard and respected. I will definitely be coming back here for my future needs and that amazing customer service. I can definitely get used to this!

Unfortunately returned to use the restroom after some time passed on my last experience and management promised training for staff being more courteous but i seems like nothing changed Wasted my time again should have just gone to whole foods or lassens these grocery stores do not mind if you have to use the restroom before you start shopping

I came in sometime last week on Tuesday I believe her name was Sharon or Shannon she helped me select some cheese for a homemade recipe of mine in the cheese area. She was super helpful and super hands on. Definitely would come here again. Respectable workers

They close wayyy before 10 everyone !!! I parked around 9:00 and I couldn't even get a cart to shop because they were literally all locked up. Upon purchasing I asked for a kart and they had a couple parked inside since they were literally closing the doors . No one offered to go get me a kart . Both a girl and a blond guy up front . The people who work here have -0 on customer service . I secretly think they hire rude people .

Bristol Farms has the perfect mix of specialty foods and commercial products. It may be smaller than other markets, but the quality and freshness of The meat, seafood and produce is excellent. The produce section is actually quite extensive for the size of the market. There is a great cheese section and a small olive bar as well as lots of wine, beer and spirits. Make your own poke bowl bar, sushi, hot bar, made to order sandwiches, rotisserie chicken and paninis are all great. The bakery always has huge cookies and lovely desserts. I always get a cake or pie here to take to dinner parties. My favorite part of Bristol Farms is the flower section outside. The woman florist is SO sweet. She always makes me beautiful arrangements and if you bring a vase she will fill it perfectly for you. She's really a gem. I'm not very artistic in that way and she's really been a huge help in making my entry hall arrangement look great! Their selection of flowers is fantastic, they're all so fresh and vibrant. All the staff is always friendly and helpful. Thanks Bristol Farms it a pleasure to shop here.

Best groceries in Los Angeles. Cheaper than erewhon. (Not saying much) Better than whole bezos foods

This Bristol is super easy to get in and get out. The people are friendly and the bakery has amazing items to choose from. Great job Bristol Farms.

Always knew that this was one of those high end natural food promoting grocery stores. So I bought a a few of their bakery just to see their ingredients .... Even Some contain artificial sweeteners, but still the ingredients are overall pretty good. Compared to other health food stores that use artificial fatty acids. Bristol use palm oil. Which is healthier. I only studied these four bakeries. Apple pie contain an artificial sweetener. Cinnamon roll not bad. Classic baguette with added emulsifier/preservative . Kaiser rolls has soybean oil (not very healthy). Emulsifier. All of them used white table sugar. Overall. Not the worse ingredients like regular grocery stores. But still not as healthy as erewhon. Slightly healthier than sprouts bakeries. I understand most people don't read. But this is important. If eaten long term.

So On my way home I stopped by to buy some water , and I seen Bristol Farms right ahead . When I came in I asked to see if they had a restroom, GILBERT was at the door . I asked if they had restroom the said yes they did have restrooms but if I had to use I had to buy something , I kindly responded yes I'm buying something but I would like to use the restroom first ( because I didn't want to take my water in there I would rather wash my hands first and proceed with whatever I had to do in the store) He said if I wasn't going to buy something before using the restroom then he couldn't let me use it , and very disrespectfully told me I could use the restroom across the street What?! Lol I'm guessing because I'm Latina he didn't let me use the restroom ? What was going on through his head .. I felt disrespected I bought the water , went to the restroom and a little girl came out ... I'm just wondering did that girl buy something before using the restroom? GILBERT you made me feel so disappointed and I felt so embarrassed walking out of the store you work for Terrible embarrassing and sad

What a difference personal service makes. I've been going to Bristol Farms my entire life, and have found their meat and seafood to be the best in the city. Today, though, I was extra-impressed with the personal touch from Juan and Joe in the meat department. First I received a heads up on the various cuts of meat and which were going on special soon. Then I told Juan about my kids and that I wanted to cook something they'd like. Then Juan offered to marinate some chicken tenders in teriyaki sauce for me even though none were currently on display. As I was leaving, Juan and Joe let me know if I called in advance they could prep and cut whatever I wanted in advance. Honestly, I've never had such a wonderful experience. Thank you!

All of you YELP fans I'm sure notice that every 1-star given here is followed by a 5-star "plant" review; PLEASE take THIS review to heart and heed the following warning: If you are a minority customer be prepared to be verbally abused (I'm Hispanic, female, and a senior citizen--70 in four days!) and not permitted to shop in this particular Bristol Farms location! The Thursday before Christmas I and my VP (I'm CEO & founder of an international health formulating company) went to get filet mignon for our company Christmas party. We are both seniors and have personal/health concerns (geriatric hypoxia) and walking into this location were verbally accosted first by the man behind the meat counter and then by the manager, 5 other employees (they surrounded us), and even 2 customers. We voiced our issues and spoke with knowledge and no malice but were told, with total equivocation, that we would not be permitted to purchase anything in this store! We spoke at length about the factual data and research our company has uncovered...but to no avail! The manager, I believe his name is Jonathan, refused to listen to 2 experts in the field who merely wanted to buy some expensive meat and leave. There was NO desire to make a scene, but it was clear they were interested in WINNING and the scene was unimportant as long as they refused to let us purchase! We really wanted the best fillet and while heading home to Beverly Hills, I called the BRISTOL FARMS IN SANTA MONICA and spoke directly to the meat manager. Alex told me he would gladly serve us and I ordered the meat for the next day's pick-up! I hardly have words for the disparity in treatment between the stores. Alex came out personally to greet me, he had reserved the most excellent steaks imaginable and we had a kind, respectful, and wonderful exchange! I WILL NEVER SHOP IN HOLLYWOOD BRISTOL FARMS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! However, Alex, Tre and ALL the butchers at Bristol Farms Santa Monica have all my business forever! They are to be commended for their non-prejudicial treatment of EVERY customer...and the meat and party was AMAZING as we celebrated our Lord's birthday!

Just have to update this review to say, my review was isolated to the experience I had at that time. I continue to visit Bristol Farms regularly and also talked to Alan the Manager who assured me that he would help me and agreed that alternate solutions should've been offered which is all I was asking. Alans' leadership makes a difference, he leads by example and sets the tone and expectation of a great client experience always coming from a helpful place, providing opinions when asked and also offering suggestions.

The prices are super high and the store could use an overhaul. It is really dim and the isles are too tight. The lines at check out are extremely long and they never have enough cashiers on hand. They do carry great products, but this is not the nicest of their locations.

I had great customer service. They always have the best strawberries and flowers ... never disappoints. I wish this location had the shrimp and cocktail Sauce.... but you can't have it all! Great quick go to in Hollywood!

Nice store. My first time visiting a Bristol Farms. I will definitely return again. Some of the fresh meets and items did not look very fresh but promising if you can get it fresh. The fresh baked walnut chocolate chip cookie is very good. The breads and pastries look very delicious. I will explore more of their pastries. The cold pressed juice is a nice pickup.

This is the best market in the universe. When in Los Angeles it's my only favorite place over Whole Foods ( no offense Whole Foods you're still magnificent). It's not just the food but staff and management are spectacular. Can't wait to visit again
