****UPDATE****
This updated review is long overdue. After our last visit, manager Mike Wardell reached out, invited us back, and told us the issues we experienced had been corrected. We returned on February 1, and I’m genuinely blown away.
I’ve eaten in 24 countries, including two Michelin-star restaurants, and our second visit to Bristol Seafood Grill ranks among the best dining experiences I’ve had anywhere. I only wish I could remember our waiter’s name, but he was phenomenal. Not just a great server, but a true host: personable, knowledgeable, perfectly timed, and made the entire night feel special.
The drinks were incredible again (seriously top-tier), and the food was on another level. The lobster was succulent, the lobster bisque was a standout, and the cauliflower au gratin ended up being our favorite side of the night. We tried the miso-glazed sea bass and it could absolutely go toe-to-toe with Nobu’s famous miso cod. We ordered the crab cakes again and they’re the I’ve ever had.
Credit where it’s due: management and the entire team proved our first experience was a one-off. They didn’t just fix what went wrong—they exceeded expectations. My partner and I plan to return every other week, and we’re especially excited to try brunch (we’ve heard it’s one of the best in the city).
Thank you to the team for listening to feedback, engaging with guests, and making fast, meaningful improvements. Five stars isn’t enough for the service, hospitality, and overall seafood quality—especially coming from someone who lived in Dubai/Abu Dhabi and knows what consistently fresh seafood can be.
