Like its namesake empire, the British Beer Company's Plymouth location is one of the few, if not the only, remnants of a domain that once spanned a good portion of coastal Southern New England. There are numerous stories in various media about the decline and fall of both. Much like Britain itself, the BBC Plymouth remains a small but lovely place to visit, partake in a bevy of local and global beverages, and engage in some traditional games and revelry on the second floor. On the last night I was there, Jenga was a particularly popular pastime, as were darts.
