Brix Barbecue

We recently visited Brix Barbecue with high hopes, fueled by all the hype I'd seen on social media. Let me just say — everything online is definitely not what it seems. First off, they were out of a lot of their staple items. Several dishes that actually drew me to the restaurant in the first place are no longer even offered, which was a major letdown right out the gate. When you build up expectations based on what a place promotes, it’s frustrating to show up and find out the menu has changed without warning. The overall experience didn’t improve much from there. My 5-year-old daughter, who usually eats everything without hesitation, barely touched her food — that alone says a lot. As someone from Memphis who's been around real, high-quality BBQ my whole life, I can confidently say Brix fell flat. The only bright spot? The Brix Burger. It was solid and probably the only thing that saved the trip from being a total waste. Outside of that, everything else we tried was trash — either dry, flavorless, or just way off the mark for a place that calls itself a barbecue spot.

The establishment has a taxidermy deer mount vibe. After you order they hand you a cup to get a water as you wait. I ordered the tour de brix, funkytown hot chicken, le brix burger, and medium rare chocolate chip cookies. Service was fast on a Saturday. However, after reviewing my order i noticed my chocolate chip cookies, onions, and pickles were missing. They don't give much onion and pickles so I didn't trip over it. I did ask for my cookies. It's 2 per order. The staff member was professional and did apologize. All the meats were seasoned and prepared perfectly. I wasn't a fan of the sides or cookies. I tend to eat bread with my bbq but no bread was needed. The four stars is because items were missing from my to-go order and burnt ends had more fat than meat. Unfortunately, they didn't have turtle brownies. Will have to call ahead to see when it will be available on my next visit. Note: Highly recommend the le brix burger.

This place is excellent, today was my first time here and I couldn't have been happier. The brisket was an 8 out 10. The fatty part was perfection. This pulled pork was also really great. I'm not a big rib guy but 10 out of 10 for me, clean bite juicy flavor and perfect amount of seasoning. I loved the sausage, the sides it was just a great place. This place will be in the top 10 in Texas when the new list comes out. The chocolate chip cookie was a great appetizer, went back to get another one and they were sold out. Kudos to the team here, one of the top joints I've been to in Texas. They are definitely on my top 10.

Brix Barbecue has easily become one of my favorite bbq spots in the Fort Worth area. My family usually orders the “Tour de Brix” with an additional 1/4 pound of burnt ends. We can easily feed 3 people with that platter. All the smoked meats are incredible. Brisket is moist with a good amount of bark. Ribs have good flavor to them and they are fall off the bone! I’m not a huge fan of their pulled pork it is a bit dry. The burnt ends are by far my favorite, they have it down. Brix burnt ends literally melt in your mouth. Their sides are pretty good not the best but definitely have good flavor. I really like the atmosphere of the establishment as well; they have ample seating and a good restaurant design. My only gripe with Brix is the parking. It is pretty tough to park in front of the restaurant especially if you drive a large pickup truck. And there is parking nearby but it can get sketchy with some of the people that walk near there. Other than the parking situation I highly recommend giving Brix a try!

We ordered the Tour De Brix and we were blown away with the quality of everything on the plate! It would be too hard to pick a favourite because everything was 10/10. Sometimes it seems sides are a bit of an afterthought but we had the elotes and slaw and they were both so tasty. We really appreciated being asked what type of brisket we preferred e.g. fatty or lean (of course we chose fatty) and the burnt ends deserve a very special mention - so tender and flavoursome 🤤 the service was also 10/10 all staff were so friendly, in particular Robert. Thanks so much from Australia - we will be dreaming of this meal for a long time!

Been waiting to try Brix!! Nice little spot close to downtown Ft. Worth, small parking but I squeezed in. I ordered Brisket and Ribs👀🍖! The tray came out with a fee really nice looking slices if brisket and one great looking St. Louis style rib. The brisket was perfectly smoked, just right amount smoke, great ring, moist tender and most of all Flavor!! Loved it. Rib had a great seasoning, sweet with a little punch of the rub, great bite and great tenderness!! Beans were phenomenal and the cold Shiner 🍺 was a great pair for that Delicious smoked bbq!! No commercial smokers in site!! Really Deal Texas BBQ I highly recommend!!!

Checked out Brix on a Thursday right at opening. Ordered the Tour de Brix with an added side, burger and brownie. The brisket was good, not a thick peppery crust like I prefer but it was still cooked great. The burnt ends were some of the best I’ve had anywhere. I got the end of the ribs and they were thin and mainly bone, the outside was tough but the meat itself was good with a sweet flavor. The jalapeño sausage was good flavor but tough. The pulled pork was sitting in a pool of grease and just wasn’t anything special. The barbacoa tacos were also sitting in a 1/4” of liquid from the meat making them difficult to eat. The straight taste of beer overtook any flavor they might have had. All the smoked other than the brisket and burnt ends seemed like they were all just reheated but not quite enough, dried out and kinda tough on the outside. The sides seemed the same way, reheated. The Brix Mac was without a doubt reheated, the cheese was set on the noodles, no creaminess or liquid and the Tasso was super dried out. The burger was fantastic and on special with a side for $9.99, unfortunate I never got my side it came with and wasn’t going to keep asking for it. The brownie was good but along with other things, wasn’t freshly made, definitely on the dry side. I wanted to try the Texas Porchetta and a funky town chicken sandwich but they didn’t have them available. Maybe I just hit them up on an off day or them trying to get rid of some leftovers but for now I would go back just for a burger and some burnt ends.

I have been a fan of Brix since they're food truck, but have never written a review... It's overdue. Their brisket is amazing, the ribs are perfect, the sausage is 🔥, the pulled pork is super juicy, but I can't find the words for the burnt ends or pork belly. They are indescribably good and unfortunately, not enough BBQ spots offer them, so extra points for Brix. Do not sleep on their sides! The beans are outstanding and the corn is not like any I've ever had(get them to throw some brisket on top for an extra level of greatness!).

EDIT: Trev the owner reached out quickly and addressed my issue. That is definitely above and beyond what most restaurants would do, especially on a Sunday morning. I do appreciate them taking ownership of the mistake and correcting things. That alone puts them above and beyond most businesses. Thanks for addressing my issue. Major disappointment. I've been here a couple of times before. Been happy. Picked up a to go order today. Got home and got shorted on the sausage link we ordered. Also paid for a large pasta salad. The container was not filled to the top. I don't mind paying top dollar for great BBQ but getting shorted in these two ways on an order is definitely not cool considering the price. I would definitely double check your order before leaving. But then again I'm probably not going to take chance on ordering here again.

Negatives first: small place with not a whole lot of seating. I took my dad who is in a wheelchair - do not attempt this! Not set up for handicap at all. Had to push wheelchair across gravel type stuff. Then we had to get him out of wheelchair to get it in the door due to the wheels not being able to roll over the bottom part of door opening. Once in it was not bad but again not a whole lot of room. I did get the jalapeño claw. But not a spicy taste at all. If anything it was very sweet. Positives: very nice guys running the place. Ribs were fantastic. This would be a good place to go with a friend or two and sit at the bar and eat ribs with a few drinks.

Pulling in to the parking lot, my expectations were sky-high. Brix had been recommended by someone whose opinion I trust, and the place has a great vibe from outside. Sitting in an older somewhat industrial area, the outdoor seating and second story deck look like an excellent gathering place. Walking in I felt the same. Nice looking menu, a window into the kitchen and friendly staff welcome you and your tastebuds. The meat is relatively expensive - $32 for a pound of brisket - and no two-meat plates here. The sides are a la carte and they have plenty of options. I wasn't starving, and ordered a half pound of fatty brisket and a barbacoa taco. Price with tip was around $27. I found a seat indoors and waited maybe ten minutes for my food. Lots of employees coming in and out of the kitchen, and the food looked good. When my plate arrived, I was hopeful. The taco was full of meat, the brisket slices were massive and the pickled onions provided some nice color. Unfortunately that's where my joy ended. Although hefty, the taco was extremely bland. No seasoning in the meat whatsoever. First I added the red sauce on the table, and felt it was pretty one-dimensional. Next I added the golden sauce and it was better. A little sweet, a little mustardy and it helped. Next for the brisket - for a $16 half pound you get two slices - although they are THICK. The brisket was extremely tender, and definitely not bland - but all I could taste was salt. A LOT of salt. No pepper, no spices and absolutely no smoke whatsoever. Very disappointing. I really wanted to like this place, because it feels comfy, like the kinda joint I would hang out in regularly if I lived closer. But the food just didn't live up to the hype, especially not for the price.

Last time I went the table condiments were fermented and not in the way a health inspector would approve. Food is very rich and I enjoyed the Mac and cheese which is more like a pasta with pink vodka sauce. Kinda hard to tell which direction food menu goes or doesn't go at times. Fun little joint to visit on a cool fall night but avoid those condiments as the can cause bad food poisoning.

You can't appreciate the amazing taste of Brix until Brix himself gets a taste of you!

This is the 3rd stop on my bbq tour. The pork belly porchatta was really tender and full of flavor. The homemade sausage was smoked to perfection. The only complaint was the brisket was a little dry. The location is easy to locate and the building was nice and clean. The service was quick and efficient.

Ambiance 4 STARS Funky and cool feels laid back. Service 3.5 STARS Staff were pleasant. BBQ Sauce 5 STARS AMAZING flavor and slap to momma good. Food 3 STARS Chicken Sandwich was great as far as presentation. It was huge/BIG and great for quantity or size . It was missing flavor and seasoning though. Now I didn't get to try the ribs. I wish I would have. When visiting a BBQ spot one should try brisket or ribs. However, I came here because I had read reviews in my foodie group about this sandwich. So the sandwich was priority. The sandwich fell short for me. I will return for the ribs as I tried the sauce and it was damn good. Overall I enjoyed the experience and it was positive.

Very welcoming staff, extending from the cooking line to bartender. Burgers and fries were very good, they are good at what they do. The place is quite small so it can be a little awkward grabbing a spot especially if you have a big family. Two thumbs up!

I was going to see a band next door and was excited as soon as I walked through the door. I love a place that has the moist part of the brisket and it didn't disappoint. Juicy with amazing BBQ sauces. Had a cute little bar and watched the bartender make a hand mashed old fashion. Had the vodka pasta as the cook said it was good and might stop by on my way home for some street corn. Will def be back

HMMMM...I had seen a tik tok about the breakfast burrito only served on Sundays. They open at 11:30 and we got there at 12 and they were already long SOLD OUT (i mean they must have sold out in the first 20 mins, which is kinda ridiculous) - a bunch of other things were also sold out. In fact, when we were there still waiting for our food, they sold out of brisket, BRISKET! We got our food, a chicken sandwich, elote and a brisket ragu. It took a LONG time to get our food (about 45 mins) and when it came they had an extra chicken biscuit on the tray (I honestly have not idea if the order was wrong and we paid for it, or it the mistake was on their end -- either way it wasn't my favorite, so skip it) I will say this was not my favorite BBQ I have been to in Texas, and guess what? I don't think I will even try for that breakfast burrito again, there are too many other great places to "compete" for a friggin' burrito.

Me and my bf tried Brix for the 1st time yesterday, we got the Tour de Brix plate with pinto beans and Brix Mac for our sides. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food came out fast. The bartender knew how to make a good refreshing cocktail. That bbq was everything!!! The Brix Mac is more like a pasta dish than a regular Mac & cheese. Just fyi. Highly recommend. Will be back to try the hot chicken sandwich next

Loved the burnt end pancakes, brisket, Mac n cheese and elotes. Not too fond of the porchetta's flavor. Spent around $50 not including tip.

The service and the food were wonderful! We even were able to meet Brix himself. My 7 year old twins absolutely loved the brisket, and we loved everything!

Here purely to rate the steak frites on the weekend night menu. Absolutely delicious, I think it's approx 2lb bone in ribeye that comes sliced (bone on side and lots of yummy meat on that still). We opted to sub out our frites for slaw. Steak was SO GOOD, Smokey but also just tender and well seasoned. Easily could feed 3-4 people if you wanted! We got burnt ends too and they are really delicious and sweet but not overly sweet. Very tender. Highly recommend the steak!

Came back for Sunday brunch after a particularly silly night out. Couldn't resist trying the burnt end pancakes - huge portion; had trouble finishing them, but they were absolutely delicious and made just right. Went very well with a spicy bloody mary. It's going to be hard not making this place a delicious habit.

This place really has me speechless. I don't usually get burgers at BBQ joints, but man this was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Service was a taddd slow but nothing concerning. There were a lot of people there and I arrived only 30 minutes after they opened. That shows you how good this place is. The restaurant can get a little loud but there's a nice patio that is also pet friendly.

Can confirm, they do run out of food, luckily for me my mission was the Hot Chicken Sandwich and it didn't disappoint! Although I didn't find the chicken hot, it was well seasoned and the jalepeno sauce was a nice addition!! I topped it with the jalepeno slaw which provided another level of sweet crunch to the Sandwich. The burnt ends were also a nice treat! I'll be back to try the elote, pulled pork and brisket(all were sold out).

Stopped in because we saw they had 4 stars. Great looking space. The employees were super friendly. My brother and I made it in about 6 so by bbq standards that's late. When we got there we decided to both do the platter that is $65 with a little of everything. Unfortunately they only had pork left, no beef and I didn't see any chicken on the menu only a chicken sandwich. Anyhow... it was all just OK. The sides were not good at all. Like none of them. The coleslaw was just wet cabbage. The Mac n cheese was pasta noodles in tomato sauce. The grandmas pasta salad was literally just dry Bow tie pasta with herbs. Burnt ends were all fat and the little meat was so dry. Pork ribs and pulled pork were good. The best thing about this place is the bar! If you are a bourbon drinker they have some great quality pours in there. We had a few really nice pours that night. The reviews are so good I think I need to give them a second chance because I absolutely left disappointed.

I went by to grab lunch and grabbed a few different things at the suggestion of the staff. Get the hot chicken sandwich. That thang was thanging!

Let's have an honest conversation: If you chase Que across Texas, we all know that there are shops that are moody, unreliable, quirky, jerks, and many of those are poor business people that make it really hard to frequent because, frankly they can't get their **** together. That's Brix. 100% We have tried and tried to come here, and it's no where near where we live.... We've come early late and hours in between. Four times now, and I've yet to even taste a scrap end throwaway piece of their brisket. At this point I'd even be willing to chew on the fat. Some things you should know: They flip to a weird non-Que menu later in the day, and like McDonalds, at one second after time, ain't no brisket for you.... Buy a burger? Me: "But you have brisket, right? I saw it" answer: "well we've been cooking all day and we just make it simple to ease into our evening ." What? Noon on a weekend - light crowd "I'm sorry we arent serving brisket". Me: " you ran out already?". Answer "no. We have brisket, but we are saving it all for a Tuesday catering order" "You're what? Surly you can pull one back? It's early... you have three days to smoke". "I asked our pit, they said they have too much to do. How about a burger? I kid you not,.,, four times.... Each time it comes down to "would you like our burger instead? Gentlemen(and ladies) of Brix: it you want to be a burger joint, be a burger joint. Seriously. Think about what I'm saying when you get past your annoyance that I decided to post a review after our conversation today. Friends, we all know the history of brisket is a colorful one, with characters to match. Some shops just struggle to even acknowledge there's a customer service part of their jobs. John Mueller, rest in peace, struggled with the same problem the Brix seems to have... good brisket, but the hassle factor and bi-polar unpredictability takes all of the enjoyment of the experience out of it My remedy each time I was disappointed, and my recommendation to you:. Go to Panther City. This shop successfully made the transition from shack to scale with excellence, and provides an amazing selection and customer experience each time. Their brisket rivals even Goldee's I love Goldee's too for the record. Run away from Brix

Hour and a half wait for food. Complete cluster around here. I would suggest going elsewhere. Did not even get a heads up when taking the order. No appetizer to eat while you wait or free drink to sip on. Poor service, unprofessional, unorganized and just sad to watch.

Came here on a Sunday for lunch and loved it! Had the pork belly, burnt ends, brisket and jalapeño sausage. Everything came out super quick and was very tasty. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. Inside is sort of your typical bbq place, but I will definitely be coming back!

The food is absolutely phenomenal here. I love their burnt ends. I always go with brisket, which you can do fatty or lean. Def still need to try their brix burger & brunch pancakes! I always get Barbacoa to go and brisket. The service is always great. They have a nice new bartender, and the owner is usually always nearby to make sure guests are enjoying their food and service. It's very convenient to place an order at the window and sit down with your number, the barbecue comes out pretty fast and you can refill your own soda drinks and get your own silverware and barbecue sauce. My fave bbq in Funkytown!

All the foods were great and tasty...definitely going again when stopping by and they serve out fast...the tortilla wraps were great! And the meat were very tender

Overall, great bbq. It's quick and easy place to go to. Good atmosphere, friendly staff. Can't say enough about how good the food was.

Meat was very dry. They do not have sliced bread. What kind of Texas BBQ joint doesn't give you bread? They also forget to give you onions, pickles, jalapeños even though they say it comes with the meats. Ambience was okay. Our cashier was cool though.

We made a visit to Brix early on a Sunday and we're able to beat the crowd. The ambiance was cool and everything smelled great. We got the Tour de Brix, and added a Hot Chicken sandwich and a side of tortillas. The strengths : I loved the burnt ends. The ribs were also really, really good. I probably tend to say the ribs and burnt ends are good everywhere, but these really were top notch. The basting sauce leaned a little sweeter than most but that was fine to my taste buds. The Hot Chicken sandwich was good but i wish the crust had stayed on the chicken. Good, but : The sausage was flavorful and the cheese was slightly melted in the inside which was nice. The brisket (wet) didn't really connect. It had a good flavor but the bark wasn't quite there. The pulled pork was also good but ultimately needed some sauce The side of street corn was good. My wife said the sauce on the beans left her wondering between going spicy or sweet. My wife liked the flavor of the tacos but said that she wouldn't order them again. We enjoyed our visit to Brix and see why it's popular. We didn't sample any of the cocktails we witnessed but we're happy to see Big Red amongst the sodas. Ultimately, it wasn't an A+ food experience for us , but closer to an A - .

Brix is always a great place to get Barbecue!! This was the first time I was able to enjoy the good at the new location!! They are no longer serving from a small trailer and definitely deserve the new spot !! These guys work hard to deliver good quality barbecue!! Stop by ASAP

Great BBQ. Tried the Brisket, ribs, pork belly porchetta and the Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage. For sides we tried the pinto beans and elote. Couple of cold beers to round things out. Super nice people working there. Chatted with a couple of employees. The Brisket was next level. So good. Ribs and Sausage were great. Porchetta was pretty good (funny because the uniqueness of the Porchetta is what made Brix stand out in deciding where to go). Beans were good but should have been hotter (temperature) and the elote was surprisingly good. Beers were cold and hit the spot. Looking forward to our next visit.

I mean seriously.... This food was SO good. We got two burgers, fries, barbacoa elote & half pound of the porchetta. It was so fresh & the flavors were so deep! A ton of different profiles blended into one. Definitely the best burger I've had so far in DFW. Even the table bbq sauce had so much flavor. We will be back to try the rest of the menu!

I could've sworn I had left a 5 star review a couple years ago. Five stars for the food, it's fantastic, the BBQ and the Brix burger are great. However good luck getting it. They recently moved into a brick and mortar building, at this time they said the burger would be available all day on the menu. They're only open from 11-4, and an extra hour for the bar, till 5, which is really bizarre when you think about it. You've got a bar now, why aren't you open later in the evenings? Anyway, this is more of "I'm sick of places that still do this crap in this day and age" rant more than anything. I go in, about three hours after they've opened, and I'm told, "sorry, we're out of all the meats". I ask "even hamburger?" Yep, nothing, nada, zip. I turned and walked out while someone is still trying to apologize. Who cares? Okay, I understand when you're running out of a trailer you have limited space for storage. Also, you don't want to over cook too much and have too much left, although when you're running out almost two hours early you obviously aren't preparing enough. When you have a brick and mortar, I bet you have a walk in cooler and freezer, and I hear they have another smoker now, so what's the problem with supply? You've been doing this for years, pretty sure you have an idea of how much you're going to sell. You can obviously store more product. Derek Allan's was the same way. My one and only visit there, I was eating inside a half hour after they opened and heard them tell a customer they were already out of something. I remember when they used to put stuff on Instagram about 1-2 PM saying "sold out already" like it was something to be proud of. I wonder what kind of business Derek Allan's is doing nowadays? Oops, they went out of business. Hey, you moved into a brick and mortar, time to put on your big boy pants and act like a real restaurant. Plan ahead, prepare, open longer, put that bar to work. I bet they might do some good bar service. Honestly, a full bar open six hours a day, four days a week....till 5 pm....why? I remember when Heim first moved into their building on Magnolia, he had product problems too. But, he figured it out, stayed open later, went to six days a week. Maybe they need to talk to him about it. Anyway, sorry if this is unfair, but enough is enough. People are driving across town to someplace they want to go, to eat the food they serve, only to find out they should have been there an hour before opening because the place is worried about having unsold food at the end of the day. If I'm ever able to try the food here again without having to get in a long line before opening just to make sure I get *something*, I'll be happy to change my review. Like I said, the food is great, but at this point, nothing is worth standing in line for hours anymore. Nuts.

Pork ribs were good but not great. I judge bbq off their pork ribs and they're not as good as I was hoping.

First visit back since they got their brick and mortar and their breakfast menu pulled me in! Those burnt ends pancakes looking amazing and they were!! Love the new building, parking lot is small and a little tight, probably best to park on the street. They had decorated for Christmas which was cute. Country music was playing. We ordered the pancakes and burrito - food came out promptly. We got drinks from the bar - one of their other new aspects I'd been wanting to check out, drinks were good, they need shorter straws though. Wish this place was open for dinner service and drinks though, you have basically a full bar and close at 5pm - very difficult to hit on a weekday. Food was great, we'll be back to check out their other breakfast items. They have started doing Brix after Dark on Sunday evenings again and the steak looks amazing! I want to hit them up for that and then just their regular menu too. However I struggle with their hours. Was never really impressed with their airstream location, however they did good with this one!

Not happy with Brix after dark spend over $130 they didn't give me any bbq sauce, ask for extra pickles when I order and didn't get any after I ask a kitchen worker he had an attitude about it and brought me 9-10 pickles. Brisket was dry and bacon burns end I understand they suppose have fat but all they gave me was fat pieces :-(. No more brix after dark specifically for the rude employee.

Stopped by here on multiple occasion when they were closed (the owners have asked Google to update hours and it's not been done, not their fault). It did build a lot of anticipation... but certainly didn't disappoint. All the meat was Smokey and flavorful. Lean and chopped brisket are moist, and the elote was great too. The owners and and their pup are great, can't find a bad thing about the place! If you're a fan of good food and supporting great people, check this place out!

It's good. FTW is bbq rich. Didn't blow me away, but it's above average and nice people.

Went on this last Saturday morning. There was a short wait. The service was quick and efficient. Got brisket and ribs. The moist brisket was tender and delicious with the right amount of smoke. The ribs were also great. Happy to see that it was not doused with black pepper like many other places. Enjoyed a very cold and refreshing draft Shiner while my order was processed. Very nice place with great customer service.

Food is PHENOMENAL per usual! Service is lovely, super hospitable and attentive. Ambiance is killer! The new Brix and mortar location is perfect!

Brix is simply one of the top 3 BBQ joints in North Texas. But it doesn't stop there! The le brix burger, the funky town hot chicken sandwich and their house made sausage will blow your freaking mind. Staff is always friendly and if you ask you might learn about secret menu items. The new building is great, I love the bar and the upstairs deck to hang out and enjoy views of downtown Ft. Worth.

Love this place. Yes it get's busy at times but it is well worth the wait and owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet

We went for the Sunday breakfast burrito and it was wonderful! The atmosphere looked super fun and we are excited to try the full menu soon. They had a full bar with indoor and outdoor dining.

Best bbq in DFW! We started at the truck and now they have their own building! Highly recommend the elote, mac and cheese and burnt ends! The service is unmatched as we never wait longer than 10 min for our food! Along with great food and service they have TVs for the games and a full bar for whatever you want to drink so this is the place to be on a Saturday or Sunday during football!

I think their website has more updated hours could be wrong. Have spent many a Saturday trying to come here and finally the stars aligned. Got here a few minutes before opening and stood in a short line. If the sun's out bring a hat. They had complimentary beers today. Seating limited but we did Togo anyways. The smoke stream is awesome and everything is prepared with care. We got Togo order of tour de brix set us back about 52 bucks? Came with 2 beef cheek tacos, 1/2lb brisket, 1/2 ribs, 1/4 burnt ends, one sausage link. We got elote and the tallow beans. Everything tasted great and I'm in love with the tacos. Come check this hidden gem out or don't because more for me.

People are great here but if you don't like sweet barbecue sauce, and I mean REALLY sweet, you may want to choose another place. I LOVE sweet sauce but this is over the top sweet. Tacos are good and brisket is good but don't ruin it with the sauce. I wish they offered a regular sauce and a (less) sweet option.

Great setup - love that they have a new location now instead of the parking lot with the airstream. I had the smash burger and the brisket ragu as well as the brocoli slaw my first visit there. The burger was delicious, the slaw was overdressed and the ragu was just an odd combo. That being said, I look forward to going back and trying the traditional brisket, ribs and sausage. I'm so glad to live in a place that FTW that has such a stellar bbq scene now. I'll definitely be back and hope to help keep places like this in business.
