A Two-Night Culinary Love Affair at Briz Store & BBQ! Our 2025 trip to the breathtaking Bantayan Island was elevated to extraordinary heights thanks to two enchanting nights spent dining at Briz Store & BBQ. From our very first step inside, we were enveloped by an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that set the tone for what would be an unforgettable culinary experience. Adam is the true artisan of the grill, and their mastery of the freshest kinilaw (ceviche) on the entire island is unparalleled—honestly, no other restaurant comes close! It was pure delight to watch Adam skillfully prepare each dish, his passion evident as he grilled every item to perfection. The ceviche was particularly remarkable; its vibrant flavors and freshness brought a taste of the ocean right to our table. Missing any item from their thoughtfully curated menu would feel like denying yourself a slice of paradise—no exaggeration! And let's not forget their homemade sauces! They are absolutely incredible. I found myself continually asking for more of their sweet chili avocado sauce—it's truly the best and perfectly complements their dishes. The ambiance is equally captivating; it’s a charming blend of romance and rustic beauty, with flickering lights and inviting decor that create an enchanting setting for an extraordinary meal. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to enhance the dining experience, and truly, I fell in love with every corner of their establishment. As we bid farewell to the mesmerizing vistas of Bantayan Island, it is the tantalizing food that will linger in my memory long after Forrest and I have left. Their BBQ dishes are a delightful revelation—always tender, smoky, and bursting with flavor—a true testament to their culinary prowess. I could genuinely savor their BBQ every day for eternity; it is simply unmatched!

This place is fantastic , pleasant atmosphere and brilliant hosts , small menu but all cooked fresh and was very tasty , did not realise fish must be pre-ordered , a client received his and was huge and looked good. Wish we were staying on the island longer to try it.Our food, chicken and pork was very good with a small range of home made sauces. Was very enjoyable dining experience and would love to return . I definitely would recommend this place.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Adam. Mary, the chef, blew us away with her amazing sauces, while Adam worked his magic on the grill. Every single dish we tried was out of this world. On top of that, Adam kept us entertained with stories, laughter, and genuine hospitality, and we even got the chance to meet his dad, who was just as warm and hilarious. As Filipinos, we pride ourselves on being hospitable, but this family of passionate food masters somehow takes it even further. We didn’t just enjoy incredible food—we enjoyed an experience filled with heart, humor, and genuine connection. In the end, it truly felt like visiting a close relative.

Charm , Ambience and a culinary delight! You may come alone to eat but you won’t be . Very intimate setting with the coolest vibe and most friendly people. This is a must if in the Sante Fe area. I highly recommend the chicken breast barbecue. It is an absolute masterpiece how flavorful and tender it is . The pork barbecue was also fantastic . You get a few sauces to complement on the side which are also brilliant . I will most def be back ! Thanks again

We came here on a whim our first night in Bantayan. We were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food! The chicken breast was cooked to perfection and so incredibly juicy! The flavor on the pork chops was so savory! The atmosphere is so relaxing, and it's so easy to see all the care and attention they've put in to their little island oasis of delicious food! We were convinced to come back for a second visit, to try the fresh fish, as well as the calamari, prawns and kinilaw. All of it was incredible! All of the sauces presented to us are hand made and the quality of the fresh ingredients really is apparent! I would highly recommend anyone come here for a visit at least once while in town! The owners are super friendly, and conversation is fun!

The resto is a small business owned by a wonderful couple. The vibe of the place is trippy 😂 we felt cozy right away as we are greeted by the owners. The chicken breast bbq and pork skewers were really good but the sauces are top notch! Our favorite is the malunggay and garlic sauce. The atchara just hits the spot. Overall, everything is great! Make sure to try it when you're in Bantayan. This is the best dish we had in our entire trip in Cebu ✌🏻

Mary's (The owner and Chef) kindness and dedication made our experience truly unforgettable. Even though the usual opening hours are from 6PM to 8PM, She graciously prepared a meal before lunch so we could enjoy her cooking one last time before heading home. What touched us even more was her effort. Despite, the heavy rain and typhoon, she made the extra effort to wake up early and buy fresh squid—and it was absolutely worth it! Her dish was incredibly delicious. One of the best meals we’ve ever had! Her warmth, hospitality, and passion for cooking shine through in every bite. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back! 👌🏻❤️ Meanwhile, when Mary's busy preparing the dishes inside, Adam kept us entertained with great conversation and a warm atmosphere, making us feel right at home. To top it all off, their dogs, Kazan and Adie, even guided us home—such a unique and thoughtful touch! Highly recommended for anyone looking for amazing hospitality and great food. ❤️👌🏻

BIG big thank you to Adam and his wonderful wife for feeding us the most amazing barbecue we have eaten. And let’s not forget the lovely greeting staff, the sweetest doggies you will ever come across!!! Going to get back to food- most succulent, soft, full of flavour chicken breast OMG! Let’s not forget my fav the SEXY PORK SKEWERS, so tender and good looking😉! If you want to experience the most fresh seafood, preordering it is worth it without a doubt, the shrimps only lasted a few seconds > this says it all. Warning the food will keep you quiet for the rest of the night.The atmosphere is impeccable, so cozy and home like feeling but better. Can’t wait to go there next year!
