Chicago’s Essential Barbecue Restaurants

"South Side-style barbecue is, understandably, a rarity on the other parts of town. This Humboldt Park spot is the welcome exception to that norm, utilizing an aquarium smoker to produce tasty rib and turkey tips, links, and slabs of ribs. There’s a non-pork smoker, too, for folks with dietary restrictions." - Ashok Selvam, Eater Staff

I Uber Eats links tip n wings paid 35$ upon receiving my food the chicken was cold and old the ribs were fatty broiled and rubbery and the link were dry the fries was greasy and my extra mild sauce wasn’t even added! I even ordered a caramel cake the cake had no plastic on it someone could easy lick or spit in my food without me know. Neva again… do better bros in laws

Ordered an extra large tip, link combo, large fry, and small turkey tip through Uber Eats. You try to support black businesses, and they have consistently messed up the order. I received a small rib tip instead of the small turkey tip I ordered. I'm so glad I looked at the order because I am allergic to pork. The tips were bad and didn't taste good. It was more bone than meat on the tip. My friend was so upset. He ordered from them before and received the same bad food. Uber eats did provide me with a credit. I hope Bro N Laws be more careful when packing up customer's orders. I will never order from this place again.

I spent $45 I grabbed a small turkey tip and wings with a small rib tip for my lady ok COOL. The turkey tips was dry, fries looked like they sat them in cold grease to fry while the grease heated up. The person at the register was terrible, I’m a customer not off the street. Do don’t go to this place. Should be call holy molly donut shop

I ordered the brother-in-law hook up. It was Friday night so I assumed a lot of people had orders lined up. I wish I had known that they take Uber eats etc...I would have ordered in advance. It was a little bit of a wait for my food However, the staff was super sweet and the food was extremely fresh and delicious. I can tell you for a fact that there were no leftovers and my people ate every last drop of chicken and rib tips.

Great food which is why I guess they think they don’t have to bother in the service department. If they are taking forever with your food you won’t receive an apology and they’ll act annoyed with you like you’re not the one putting your hard earned money in their pocket. I called 45 minutes before close to place an order and a female voice barked “you have to come in to place an order” and hung up. So I drove there less than 10 minutes later and walk in and she proceeded to tell me the grills were off. They close at 10 but anpp stop making food at 9 so really you close at 9?Inconveniencing your clientele that you depend on to keep you open and employed is crazy. They need to have their policies clearly posted and go over them with their rude staff.

$20.40 for a small tip when I asked for barbeque sauce and received none when I got home to eat I had 7 fries at the bottom of the the tray soaked in pork grease, so not worth the tip of a slab of rib tips cause that's all they give. Support black businesses when they ripping us off as well. I will never again stop here not even for a bottle of water.

Decided to try somewhere new after finding the line at Wiley’s over 1hr wait. Took one bite and instantly regretted it. Tips were salty, sauce was minimal, fries were saggy (from sitting in grease not even the mild sauce), and worst of all to me, it’s highly overpriced. Go to Wiley’s instead, 6mins away but you’ll be happier, trust me.

Specifically said I didn’t want my meat on top of the fries because I didn’t want them soggy … still got a parchment paper wrapped full of soggy fries. Chicken was good, tips were drastically under seasoned. Tough meat & minimal sauce. All for 23.00!! Won’t be returning.
