I honestly have no words—I am completely in love with Broad Street Dough Co. 🤍 The variety of gluten-free vegan donuts is absolutely out of this world. Not only are they made fresh to order, but they come out warm, fluffy, and insanely delicious. If I lived in San Diego, this would 100% be my daily go-to spot. Just… wow. Every donut I tried was great, but my top three were: 1. Lemon Jelly 2. Chai Town 3. Strawberry Fields I also tried Coco Loco, The Aztec, West Park, and Wake & Bake, and honestly, every single one was delicious. All the others were amazing as well, but those three truly stood out in flavor and texture for me. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and has a great vibe. Customer service was exceptional—the staff member who helped me was incredibly kind, patient, and answered all my questions (I wish I caught her name!). She explained that they use separate sections for gluten-free vegan donuts and also accommodate nut allergies, which I really appreciated as someone with celiac disease. That said, they do also make regular donuts and regular vegan donuts, so there is still a risk of cross-contamination—just something to keep in mind. The safety protocols are clearly in place, and they are very transparent and accommodating. I also ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk, which was delicious. They don’t add sweetener to their matcha by default (which I love), but syrups are available if you prefer it sweeter. I added just one pump of vanilla since the donuts were already sweet—perfect balance. And let me tell you… I’m still thinking about these donuts. They were so flavorful, light, and fluffy. I don’t think I’ve ever had a gluten-free and vegan donut that was this fluffy before. You can really tell they focus on freshness and make batches to order. They even offer complimentary water, which is such a thoughtful touch. Overall, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Hands down, these are the best donuts I’ve had since being diagnosed with celiac disease—and I already knew about my dairy and egg allergies. Broad Street Dough Company specialize in made-to-order vegan and gluten-free donuts. They have a huge range of delicious options and as they are made to order they’re served warm and incredibly fresh. All the donuts we had were phenomenal and I’d never have suspected they were vegan or gluten-free if I didn’t already know.

I came here with my aunt(she came from Korea) she found this place through instagram in Korea. They do have fresh donuts and delicious. The employees were super friendly. The menu describes each donut and there are picture on the opposite wall They gave us one free donut. Because of my aunt. I still can’t believe she found this place through instagram in Korea. Well because of her, I found Fresh shop whenever i am in Encinitas.

Yummy donuts at Broad Street Dough Co in Encinitas! Really cute shop and so many different flavors just want to open my mouth like the Kirby meme and eat them all. Love how they have pictures so it’s easy to choose. We really enjoyed the strawberry fields and Nantucket flavors. The staff were very warm and accommodating with questions. Recommend!

Best doughnut I have ever had!!! My barber next door loves the all American (with a glass of milk), so I stopped to grab him one. I came back the next day and got a fruity pebbles + a wake and bake (coffee glaze and chocolate chips) They were made to order right there and came out warm, sweet and fluffy. I will definitely be back to try other flavors, as they have some very creative combinations. Absolutely recommend. Clean space, spatious for groups and phenomenal customer service!

Best donut I have ever had! Unbelievably savory and delicious! They make these right after you order them so they’re WARM. One of the employees explained everything to me - he was super warm and welcoming. I tried the chocolate with custard on top and wow - we’re only here for a week but I can see myself going here every morning.💛🍩😋

Came here on a whim for national donut day and they had a BOGO deal. randomly looked this place up and yelp had lots of great reviews so we decided to check it out. I was a little disappointed in the donuts because they are smaller than normal, a little denser and cakier than your standard fried donut because these are gluten free and vegan. Wake and bake - this is a coffee glazed donut with chocolate chips on it but could hardly taste any coffee flavor at all. Mulberry street - this is a cannoli type donut with cannoli filling on the top and in the middle but it was way too much filling. it was super sweet and overpowering due to the ratio of the cannoli frosting and the actual donut.

Donuts are decent but really overpriced. Regular glazed donut are half the size of what we're used to and $3+ each. So for fair comparison if the donuts were regular sized they would be $6+. Service is good, folks are friendly and ambiance is great given it's on the main Encinitas strip and near the beach.

It was good, albeit on the sweeter side for my taste. We got the regular blueberry donut and the blueberry lemon cream donut. They are made fresh to order and came out very warm and fresh. The guy working there was so kind and gave us one of the donuts on the house since we were feeling pretty indecisive on what to order.

This donut shop is located in a busy shopping center. Parking could be an issue on busy days. The amount of choices are a bit overwhelming but the cashier steered us in the right direction. The specials are laid out next to the cash register and are not listed on the board. They even have a doughnut for dogs! A dog came in and started howling as he was so excited. The donut was hot when we bit in. They are made to order and all cake donuts, a bit on the small side for the price. They are light and delicious. I had a key lime filled one and it was meat to eat as it was melting. The aloha broad was delicious and the winner.

Tucked away on the 101 and only noticed this place because we got coffee next door lol. The decor is cute and the staff is so friendly and helpful for us being first timers. Man oh man...you're like a kid in a candy store with so much to choose from. We opted to get their cronuts and one with Bavarian cream. Gosh, they were delicious. Go try them out.

I definitely understand the hype. As a reviewer on here it's unusual to see a place that's lasted as long as broad street donuts while also being held to such high regard (4.7?) by its customers. You'd think it could be a sample issue, but no - the hype is definitely real. I tried a donut recommended to me by the owner (who graciously just handed me the entire donut as a "sample" free of charge (huh?) That was surprising enough. The donut itself, while simple on its exterior was really one of the best I've ever had. Texturally perfect, just the right amount of chocolate, just the right amount of warmth. I would be bored by a donut that looks like this, but some things you've just got to try!

I have to go 5 stars. vegan. gluten free. These are phrases that make me turn away and run. Not today Soft. Sweet. Delicious!

Very nice / crispy donuts!! A little overpriced, I bought a box of 6 (maybe around $16?) and I had 2 immediately. They were AMAZING. However, they do not reheat well and aren't good leftover. So, only get as many as you can eat right away.

Creative, colorful, and tasty is how I would describe the doughnuts from Broad Street. I'm not in North County often but I'm glad there are places like this to give light to doughnut loving people like me. They had an interesting churro cronut type of dough and that was great. You do wait until they make it fresh and the service was good. Lots to try and seasonal doughnuts also. I got to come back for more.

We came here in February and they had so many cute Valentine's Day donuts but we opted for one of their regular ones. Decent sized and sweet but the donut was very doughy and mushy. A consistency we're not used to. The donut was pretty pricey for the size too but they made it fresh to order.

This donut place is so good! We walked in and they have so many different kinds of donuts including vegan and gluten free. I wasn't craving anything but the churro donut caught my eye. When I heard churro donut I had to get it! My son got the maple donut. The place is very nice and the staff were super friendly. Even asked if it was our first time there! Not a typical donut shop where you see donuts behind a glass case. There are pictures of their most common items. And a display of their new donut creations! Deserving of a visit!!!

We love coming here for a morning treat. All donuts are made fresh to order. The staff are always friendly. Don't pass up the beignets! Perfect little crunchy, sugary, pillowy clouds of complete yum! The warm cake donuts filled with fillings of your choice are quite fantastic as well!

Walking on 101 in Encinitas, we noticed this donut shop and we decided to check it out. The moment we walked in, we loved the colorful donuts, pretty much every one of them had a vivid and bright colorful look. It was like walking into Donut Wonderland. The staff working here was very sweet, friendly and smiley. Nice customer service. There were so many fun flavors that is was a bit overwhelming. Our friend Jim said the donut was a bit too sweet, but still good and flavorful.

Amazing place for unique flavor combinations on donuts! We got a box of 6 and loved each one! They have a large menu of flavor combinations and also have pictures of each donut on the wall to help when choosing. You can opt to eat these in store and order their coffee where they have a section with a couple of tables too. We got 6 of their donuts to go and it was hard to pick a favorite. We got the orange creamsicle, wake & bake with coffee and chocolate chips, the chocolate s'mores, island broad with pineapple, cherry maple glaze and coconut flavored ones all of which were delicious and it was impossible to pick a favorite! They also have a bunch of holiday themed donuts too!

This place is great. Greeted with a hello and a smile. The menu was explained to me and was also advised that they had pictures on the wall of the donuts for visuals. Was also told about the daily specials. They have complimentary water to wash down the donuts with . I ordered four donuts. When the donuts were handed to me I felt the warmth of the donuts. It was wonderful. Freshly made. I will be back.

Even though we were full from lunch...we still needed to come to Broad St to get their made to order donuts. We got their Balboa...and let me tell you...it was so good. It was nice and hot and the Bavarian cream was sooooo good. It's a must stop place if you're in this area!

Paid by card. Broad Street Dough Co. is located in a plaza and offers plaza parking. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and didn't have to wait since there was no one in line ahead of us. It was so hard to choose what donuts we wanted since they have a lot of options and specials. The staff was nice and patient with us as we decided. We ended up getting a half dozen and the powdered and cinnamon sugar were my favorite. The donuts are made fresh after you order so they're amazing!!! I would definitely recommend this place and will go back soon! I'm craving their fresh donuts!

wowza!! This donut place is legit! Anything your heart desires!! and it's made to order. I am happy to try them all but today we got a few fan favorites and some on the regular menu. I did ask about gluten free options and most of the donuts can be made gluten free which is amazing for all my gluten free friends. And I do love that they have a mini box order that they can decorate however you want!! a good option for my daughter's next birthday But I will definitely be back soon to try others!! Now back to devouring my current loot!! PS. Shout out to the guy who served me - I didn't get his name but he was a gem of a guy and made me feel welcomed!! He explained every different donut I pointed at and which were the fan favs!!

Walking in, I was greeted by an array of flavors, which initially overwhelmed me as I aimed to select the perfect ones. Opting to try a variety with friends, we sampled both cake and regular donuts, and to our delight, they were freshly baked and warm - an unexpected treat. While I found them slightly sweeter than my preference, there was no denying their quality. With each bite, I knew I had found my new go-to spot for satisfying my donut cravings in San Diego.

Stopped by because I remembered there was a donut place in the shopping center kind of funny having it next to F45 but whatever maybe people want a sweet treat after a workout (or go work out after over indulging)?! Either way, what a delightful, donut shop with all made to order, hot, fresh donuts. He picked up a few for family and my son couldn't wait to try one in the shop. We'll be back. Friendly staff, clean and they have nitro, drip and cold brew Moto Coffee.

Donuts aren't my thing, but my husband loves them and wants to try different shops where ever we go. This place was cute with some interesting options, but to be honest I felt like they all tasted pretty much the same because the donut itself is a cake donut only. I think some of the flavors would actually taste better cooled down and not served fresh and hot. If I must eat a donut I think I prefer raised yeast donuts with a glaze that has a bit of a crust of that make sense? Still, I am not the donut connoisseur in my family and He gave a big thumbs up.

We had AMAZING Service from Mr. Madox! He was so patient and knowledgeable. There are a lot of flavors and he knew how to direct us based on our preferences. The shop is really cute and clean, and it smells amazing :) all donuts are made to order and served hot... doesn't get better than this!! Madox also took the time to tell us which doughnut is which after he made them. Very kind. Will be back soon for sure

Doughnuts were amazing, super fresh and delicious. I really appreciate the wide selection and variety of their menu. Workers are always nice and helpful, and the overall feel of the place is 10/10. It's pretty big inside and there's plenty of seating offered as well. The doughnuts all have a photo accompanied with each flavor option. The place also has easy parking right in front which is a plus in my book, especially with how this area of Encinitas can get pretty packed and parking can be hard to find.

This family-owned treasure keeps pulling me back in, even when I'm fresh from the gym and pretending I'm all about that health life. They're always rolling out new doughnut flavors, making every visit an exciting tour. These doughnuts come in with that perfect cakey texture (not the typical yeasty Krispy Kream type we mostly know) but they taste as good as they look. Just a little heads-up though: they make them fresh for you right there and then, which is awesome but they're not the best travelers for later snacking. Got to chat with the brothers from New Jersey who helm this sweet ship - their dedication to the doughnut game is serious business, and the family feel of the place just adds to its charm. They even slipped me a top-tip for re-heating these delights in the oven, and you bet I'll be giving it a go.

Absolutely delicious donuts! They were made to order, so freshness is guaranteed. When I received my box of donuts, opened the lid, the aroma was just wow. I bought half a dozen of donuts. The donuts were so soft and delicious. The powdered one was surprisingly not overly sweet. It was perfect. The glazed donut was great. The chocolate one tasted chocolatey. The chai town had a little chai flavor, which was still good. Nantucket was perfect. The sweetness and the saltiness balanced out. The Monmouth was super good. Crumbly and soft. Yummy! The service was excellent. Staff was so patient and nice. The store was neatly decorated and pretty. Love this store!

Very cute donut shop in downtown Encinitas. Fun variety of donut flavors and they even have creative seasonal specials. Great service and they even surprised us with a free donut since it was our first time :) Can't wait to come back and try all the other donuts.

This is the place for gluten free donuts! Perfect for birthdays. Multiple toppings and freshly made daily. They are tasty and keep well for a couple of days. Service is great and orders can be placed same day if early enough. It's close to the beach and nice casual eateries. The non GF can be ordered small or regular but the gluten free are regular only and quite big. A little pricey for donuts but fantastic for GF options.

I was so excited to come try this place out ! There's a big pink donut right out front so hard to miss. We ordered the fruity pebs , s'mores and funky monkey. They made them right as we ordered them so they came out warm ! My favorite was the s'mores I really wanted to get more to go but limiting my sugar intake The service was great, he directed us to the pictured menu and what they have on display. We felt welcomed as soon as we came in. The ambiance was so pretty , perfect place to munch out on donuts and study for a bit. It's well lit but very cozy. Can't wait to make my way up here again to try out more flavors

The customer service was very friendly and patient while my sister and I looked over the menu and asked questions. It is a nice clean place on the inside and out with seating inside. The donuts were made to order so they were fresh and very warm, but upon ordering I was not aware that all the donuts were cake donuts. I got the maple and s'mores donuts they were very small, but pretty okay. The maple donut was a bit plain, but sweet enough frosting. The s'mores one was much more flavorful and very sweet and chocolaty, but the dough again was a bit plain. The croissant beignets stole the show for me. They were flakey, buttery, hot and covered with powdered sugar. I would get the beignets over the donuts, the three beignets in the serving are not too much if you want to eat them by yourself! I always share my desserts but I could have finished the beignets myself. These three treats were not overwhelming and that made me feel better about eating donuts. Overall good, but just not a fan of cake donuts that much and they are very small.

Cute spot, decor looks sooo inviting. They have regular donuts as well as GF and V donuts which is amazing! I ordered the sugar coated GF donut and Cinnamon GF donut and they were both great! Im glad that i can go somewhere to treat myself if i want a GF/V dessert. Note: a few doors down, there's also a nice ice cream spot where you can get GF/V options.

I have an appointment in the same shopping center as this donut shop and stopped in, big mistake (since I'm not suppose to be eating sugar right now). Now all I can think of is the churro cronut. I also made the mistake of giving my kids a bite now they keep asking when I will go there again. Over 4th of July they had a Boston cream donut that was delicious as well. Donuts are always better when they are warm and this place hits it out of the park Staff has always been super friendly. If you don't know what you want from the extensive menu ask someone who works there. I would have never ordered the churro cronut and it was amazing. All the bad reviews talk about the gluten free or vegan donuts tasting different, well of course they will anything gluten free or vegan never tastes exactly like it should, people should be sensitive to that fact and if that's what they eat they know how difficult it is to get something even close to the taste of a regular sweet. We will be back!

Amazing made to order donuts!! So many options but our favorites were the blueberry glazed, cinnamon sugar, and the lemon coconut. It was so good we went back and ordered more. Highly recommend eating these as soon as you get them!

Soooo yummy! There's nothing better than fresh donuts! For as sweet as they look, the flavors are well balanced and not overwhelming. The variety is excellent, with a flavor for everyone. Highly recommend as there is no other place like it in San Diego. Service was superb, super friendly and helpful with any questions I had about the menu. It seems to be a very popular spot for Saturday morning with people coming in and out. Didn't feel crowded and there is space to sit inside and outside. We did order some chai teas and they were really watery but aside from that, great experience.

We ordered donuts from Broad Street Dough Co. for our wedding dessert and the process couldn't have been smoother! We picked out the donuts we wanted from their online menu (which helpfully had pictures that I used to make a little sign to go in front of our donut wall), placed/paid for the order over the phone a month or so in advance, and the donuts were delivered for free on the day of the wedding at our venue in Del Mar! Appreciated the vegan/gluten free options for our guests with dietary restrictions. Their prices were reasonable as well. We ordered 72 donuts for ~82 guests because we were told by everyone we talked to that you always end up with a ton of leftover dessert at your wedding, and it's best to slightly under-order. Apparently that rule doesn't apply to our guests (or Broad Street Dough Co.'s donuts) because our donuts were gone before we knew it and my husband and I didn't even get to try any! According to our guests, they were great. We would recommend them to anyone ordering donuts for an event in the area.

This place is great. I love it but I do have one complaint .whenever I order a single doughnut in this case. I gotta glaze, they give very, very little glaze. The entire plate and backside is dry as you can see in my picure. Not as fun for someone like me who likes sweet stuff. I just end up eating the top part and tossing the rest. There is no extra glaze except for the little bit they put on top. It is definitely nothing like the amount of glaze at krispy kreme

HIGHLY recommend. Not only were the donuts absolutely fantastic, but the service was immaculate. They forgot a donut and immediately remediated the issue on top of giving us an extra donut for free. And when we first came in, I swear my friend literally asked about every single donut and the cashier happily recalled information about each of them. Really great experience here.
