Broad Street Love

Racist employee and Residents. Jessa and Chyna don't care when minority volunteers face racism from minority residents. I had employee tell me, "Will you help them or me?" In a weird sarcastic way. Others heard about this and found it rude. Including one of the residents. This resident said that they (the employee) probably treated you this way because you are not American and your skin color is brown. I said that I am indeed American, and brown skin color does not make me un-American. I spoke to Chyna (an employee) and another employee about this later. Chyna said that I could email her further. I did. But, she never responded. She also said that Email me and we can discuss this further. But, she never responded. I later reached out to someone named Jessa, via email. She said that Chyna vaguely told her some information about what had happened. I emailed Jessa the specifics. But she never got back to me. I wanted to make some printouts as a volunteer and possibly go to Broad Street Love day the Menders came by. Jessa just said that the Menders was a third party organization...never really followed up with a phone number or when I could find them at Broad Street Love. Did she not want me to return? Chyna never followed up with me regarding the printouts. ☹️☹️☹️☹️

The homeless/un-housed populace can receive a mailing address and have their packages packages, here. Beginning at 11:30 a.m. lunch is served for the Philadelphia community where music 🎶 that of which these philadelphian's closely identify with. Public restrooms are available; and Wednesday's there is a clothing closet. Health services and case-workers are available, in conjunction with the services listed as seen, above! . . .and should any passerby have their cell-phone lost or stolen and don't have in posession a much-needed telephone, phones are provided for convience. The staff for health services and case-management are very cheerful and offer practical support -- not just the comman-place "prayers" being sent out. They offer actual assistance in problem-solving your current and, most-pressing issues due to lack of finances and stable living arrangements. They reach above and then, beyond for you! •👏applause•

A place and community with a Spirit 🐦 filled Sunday worship, and a warm hearted 💓 hospitality for all.

They were very polite and serve lunch to those who need it. They also pay for your ID if you have no money

It's awesome to have a place to receive your mail and small packages. The lunch they serve is a nice small meal of something almost fancy punched with good flavor. Their clothing closet has nice, decent attire. 👌 And the caseworker are kind and their the only ones, the only caseworker I've ever come into contact with for tackling problems who were motivated and eager to resolve issues...Sam helped me with a huge frustrating one and she git the job ✔️👍done! Relief! Great place!

A phenomenal organization and worshipping community! Tonight we sang Beyoncé, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Death Cab for Cutie, Bob Marley, and O Come O Come Emmanuel!
