I liked the place. Big open indoors and outdoor locations for drinking, both kid and dog friendly. However, be aware that none of the beers in the case are sold as singles and there’s a god-awful ridiculous $10 corkage fee. I’ve been in a lot of tap rooms in a lot of places and I’ve never seen anyone charge $10 for a corkage fee.

They had remodeled the inside since the last time I was there, and it was great with lots of seating so if it’s not a nice day enjoy the space inside. One of our favorite places in the world. This is like a community center and taphouse all in one. The rotating taps are always fresh and new, the variety of rotating food trucks are fun to try and easy for dinner, and the family friendly feel means we are always in good company. We love our local spot! 🍻

I have lived in this neighborhood forever! I was so excited when the tap house opened and have been going ever since. I have been disappointed lately because parents are letting their children run wild, destroy games, run into people, and be disrespectful! It is a place for everyone in the neighborhood to enjoy! Please help kids who are still learning how to have fun in a respectful way! Parent your kids please! Thank you!

This is what this area has been waiting for. A place to go and have a good beer in walking distance. They have a real good beer selection and food that is ever changing depending on what food truck is there. This place is kid and dog friendly, which can make for an interesting combination. They do have a deck for when the weather is good. For me this is a good place to hang out in after work.

This is a Seattle neighborhood I think I've only been to once and that was when I came here to Broadview. It's more of a chill area of town and I'm sure the resident's of this neighborhood that enjoy craft beer take advantage of it's location. I had a couple of beers here which were quite good. They were guest tap beers as this is a tap house and guest taps is a part of what they do. It's primarily made of of local breweries or at least ones in the Pacific Northwest. It was a good selection and the beers I had off the tap were quite refreshing. I also browsed and purchased through their refrigerated section containing cans of beer to take home. I found a few that grabbed my interest. Some beers were collaborations with other breweries that I wanted to try so I definitely made sure to get those beers for sure. Nice, neighborhood beer bar and bottle shop all around and I am glad I paid a visit here and the less known and quieter neighborhood in the bustling metropolis was a nice change of pace.

Love that this exists in the Broadview neighborhood. Got quite a selection of beers. And the food trucks that rotate are a huge plus! It's just hard to enjoy a nice "happy hour" when there are too many kids in the same establishment. Kind of ruins the experience. I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks this.

Great beer selection and family-friendly space. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating, plus a little playroom for kids. This is going to be our new go-to!

Love the beer and the community. Lots of rotating taps. Great offerings from local breweries as well as craft beer from around the country. The bartenders are all genuinely passionate, kind, and fun.

One star for Fridays. Too many little kids running wild while their parents drink beer. Not relaxing. Otherwise, I really like the Taphouse.

One of these places that lets children run amok while their parents ignore them and get drunk. So screaming unsupervised children. Not relaxing or fun. Also they do the whole "I am going to hang on to your credit card." So ripe for credit card fraud. In today's modern age there's no good reason for that at all. Anyway, good beer.

The service is good, and the employees and manager are friendly. It's dog friendly, so you get to pet some dogs while you're there is the owners of the dogs let you, and it's kid friendly, but the parents of the kids sometimes just let them run around and destroy things. Sometimes at events, there is free popcorn, like on the occasional summer movie nights, and holidays like Halloween. As a small business, they support other small businesses and food trucks to sell in the parking lot for free. There is lots of outdoor seating, and some inside too. On Fridays it's really busy, so I'm guessing the food truck is really popular. (Oscar's pizza)

I love, love, love this place! The owners got it right when they envisioned and created a local watering hole that would appeal to parents and have a more family-friendly vibe. Seattle and Washington have a wealth of great microbrews and Broadview regularly has a number of them to try. They switch out some to keep the variety going, but have a few that are tried and true and you can count on being available. I'm a dark beer lover, so I get excited at their offerings in ways of stout, brown, red, porters, and the like. One of my favorites they have are the red ales or Scotch ales that they have. The venue itself is cozy and neighborhood-like. Sure it's small inside and fills up quickly, but that's just a sign of their appeal and success. Most everyone that's there has always been friendly...and the employees are always happy to serve and knowledgeable. They also have an outdoor space that's lovely to use, complete with heat lamps to keep warm on the cooler nights. Hungry? They consistently have food trucks parked out in the lot for you to nosh on while washing it down with a tasty beverage. Check out their FB pages for the food schedule. They also have an outdoor movie series that is a nice to go to. Parents? Feel free to bring the kids along! They have a play space inside and the large table/picnic bench set up is perfect for making new friends and bringing the whole gang. I see some hate from other reviewers about the noise, the space, and the kids. This is one of the few bars/pubs/tap houses around that I've seen that is geared to parents and encouraging to bring the kids. Singles...couples w/out kids...you've got plenty of places to chose from. It's great to have Broadview in the neighborhood for when we want a place to hang out and knock back a cold one. Now we've got our place. Thanks Broadview! We'll always be a fan and customer!

I visited this brewery at the end of December while the Seahawks were playing their last regular season game. This is a family-friendly tap house (which was actually a small house) that welcomes kids and dogs. We do not have kids but we have a 5-lb toy poodle who loves kids more than anything else. The brewery itself is clean and even has a kids play area. My dogs really loved it there. The staffs were nice and welcoming, the beer tasted good, and overall we had a good time. However, it got REALLY loud after a while with 4 kids in the play area right next to us and parents who were becoming slightly less sober. The staff there told me this level of noise was not what they are used to having, but I'm skeptical based on other reviews which seems like other people also experienced the same issue. I will not be returning to this place because I didn't like having screaming kids around, especially in such a small establishment. I am giving it 3 stars because the staff was very, very pleasant and their beer tasted great.

Yikes, this place is intense.... I would barely consider it a tap house, more like a daycare full of bad drunk parents too lazy to watch their kids sober. If there aren't twelve toddlers screaming around you, rest assured you will also be bothered by the unleashed animals running around. Why this place caters to babies and dogs (who can't even drink!) is beyond me. I really really want to like this place but it's just so gross and unsanitary. If they kicked out the kids and the dogs this place might be worth going to, but until then, I can't in good conscience spend my money here.

Walking distance from my house. Decent selection of quality beer. Kid friendly. When I say kid friendly, you should know the people here don't just accept kids, they have kids and welcome them. I have a 2.5 y/o and it's refreshing to see smiles when we walk in with our son. So many places are not as welcoming. Awesome play area and great attitude from staff and patrons. Little small but I see the outdoor space in use when it's warmer. It's going to be a sweet summer & spring. Only visited once but will absolutely make this joint a habit. If you don't have/want kids and are looking for a nice, quiet place to stare into your partners eyes, this is not the joint for you. ;)

I'm sooooo excited about this place! I live two blocks away and have been lamenting the fact that we don't have an easily walkable cafe or bar in our immediate neighborhood. Well I'm happy to say that's no longer the case- Broadview Tap House is super cute and family friendly, and very near to us. They have 26 or so rotating taps in a cute indoor/outdoor setting, and they allow dogs which is perfect because we have two that love to join us! The tap house also has board games and visiting food trucks (see the chalkboard in their window for a food truck schedule). They sell some snacks like chips and sandwiches. The patio is perfect and chill on a summer evening. Sports-y people can watch their sports on the numerous TVs inside. A++! Please never leave us!

Decent spot, but holy terrible children, Batman! There were so many kids running around unattended and antagonizing our dogs. Why are alcohol-only serving establishments so full of unruly children in this town? Keep your kids at your table, please. It ruins the atmosphere for the rest of us. And I hope you're not driving your dumb family home drunk.

Sadly, they outgrew their building almost before they even opened. It's too small and too crowded, with too many screaming kids. The outdoor movie nights during the summer are great, and the food trucks are a nice add-on as well. But the whole experience is tainted by the too-small, too-noisy facility.

We went there tonight. Great beers on tap and very nice staff. But it's a total toddler show. If my kids were youngsters and I wanted some adult beverages with other parents with toddlers, this would be the place. I would have loved this place 20 years ago. They do have their market niche. 4 stars for the beer, service and niche. I be probably won't go back until I have grandkids, though.

This place has really turned a corner, maybe thanks to COVID?! Kids are still around, but don't seem nearly as rampant since the indoor playspace was eliminated (by restrictions, I assume). Maybe that just sets a different tone. We really like the new tented outdoor space and their food truck line-up is top notch. Varied and delicious.

Great Beer! Awesome staff, food trucks showing up are awesome! I grew up in Broadview and just moved back last year. This is great to have something in the area. The owner needs to step up and let his staff address parents that just let their kids run wild. I have left more than once when it gets too crazy. I feel like they need to decide if their going to be a pet beer place or a kids running wild beer place or a cool place for adults to drink up and eat.

This may be one of my new, favorite local Tap Houses. Super kid friendly, great list of local brews/ciders on tap, small selection of snacks for both adults & kiddos, & usually a food truck in the parking lot. Good indoor and outdoor seating, and a couple of TVs to catch the games. Small lot for parking, but ample street parking not too far away. We will definitely be coming back. Cheers!

OK, I hit it right.... there might be only 1 kid in the daycare. I did have to leave the front deck, as there was a dog day care going on, and why do I want to listen to dogs bark, when out having a nice evening? Inside, they had NPR, Sunday jazz going, so all good. It's all about the timing. Woh!.... holds the phone. I just checked out. What? They don't take $$$, plastic only. Come on you guys... smh.

Great that they have roughly 24 beers, a cider, and a root beer on draft! It looks like they rotate things out pretty frequently, so there is always something for everyone, whether you like dark beers, nitros, IPAs, sours, you name it! I went with a tasting flight because there were just too many good choices and wanted to try a bunch of different beers. My wife got one, too, so we ended up trying almost a third of the menu. We were both impressed with the blood orange sour and the lemongrass cider. The space is a bit cozy, and by that I mean crowded. They are really pushing to be a family friendly bar, which is great, there aren't enough of them. But when the place is full, there is just not much room and the sound in the space is very overwhelming. They seem to bring in a variety of food trucks, or you can bring in your own food. There was a sandwich place on the night I went and that was a little underwhelming, especially for the price, but that's a review on the food truck and not on Broadview. I'd definitely head back, especially if they keep the tap list rotating so we can try some other great, local beers!

What a great spot! 26 beers on tap! Big screen TV! The establishment appears to be completely remodeled. The beers that I tried were very good. The selection of beers was varied, and included some great IPAs. They have outdoor seating too, which I am anxious to try. If you are in the area looking for a good beer, this is a place that I highly recommend. You should be aware that they don't take cash however.

Love this casual neighborhood joint. It is super dog and kid friendly. Great beer selection and daily food truck options. The other reviewers complaining about kids must not be looking for somewhere that welcomes families. We love to see our neighbors and have a beer. Great service too!

Awesome neighborhood joint with good selection of brews. The food trucks on the weekends have great food. There is a play area for kids, as well as snacks and beverages for little ones. Highly recommend.

Great bar, around 20 beers on tap and a few non alcoholic options as well. A nice outdoor area, a fair amount of indoor seating and a fantastic play area indoor for kids. They only take cards.

While I think it's great to have a place that parents can go have a beer and let their kids play, that's not our scene. It was way too crowded and noisy when we went there. Also, many parents during our visit didn't seem to be aware or care what their kids were doing. We may try it again when outdoor seating is available.

Despite our aversion to family friendly breweries and tap houses we keep trying Broadview. I love the beers, the staff, the space (except for the playground). We tried again last week and ran into a BIG kid party (not big kids, but a large quantity of people there for a kid's party). At least there were no kids outside (because it's January and kinda cold)! I guess we have to think of this place as an outside Winter only place or growler only place. Broadview - maybe an adult only night once a week to help those of us out that aren't kid friendly?

Decent food trucks but unless your idea of a great time is listening to bad over amplified 90s imitation bands (fortunately, only on occasional weekends) in a strip mall parking lot under a sketchy tent I'd stick to takeout only.

We are big fans of the Broadview Tap House and are happy to have them in the neighborhood. Great service, fab tap selection, and great food truck options. As parents it's great to have a kid-friendly spot to duck into for a quick bite or brew, and I have to say I've never observed "checked out" parents letting their kids run wild. (It's a good thing people who don't like kids mixed with their beer-drinking have so many other stellar places to go...) Keep up the good work Broadview!

What a wonderful neighborhood addition! Awesome beer selection - there's always something new and delicious to try. The space is great and is not weather dependent either, plus the staff are all super fi. Only wish there was a larger area for picnic tables in the summer time (and more food trucks).

I live just a few blocks from Broadview Taphouse and I was initially excited about the prospect of a walkable local pub. When this place first opened I went a few times (maybe 5) in the first month but gave up on it because the atmosphere was lacking. The biggest issue being the ratio of kids to adults. This week I decided to give it a try again (patio weather!) and I have to say that the kid situation is more intense than ever. It was mayhem there this past Fri. At one point there were 2 infants in bucket seats crying at the same time, and another toddler tantruming in front of the bar, being passed between his mother and father. This is not a big place - it was pretty intense. It felt more like a daycare than a bar. I have two young kids so I'm patient about kids crying, but it was a bit much even for me. The point here is not whether or not kids should be in a bar. The point is that if a daycare-bar hybrid is not your scene you should not go here. The kid vibe here overpowers everything else. Ive been here a few times and it's always kid-dominated. There's no balance here right now. I hope they figure it out because I want a fun place to go unwind, close to home. On the plus side, great beer selection, like the rotating food trucks, patio is nicely done, a couple big TVs and the staff are friendly.

A welcome family place with a great variety and low-key vibe. Giving this top scores for beer selection and service, and great food options, but lower on a key point expressed by others, with a note to management. Please do two things. A) Move the kids play table to the back (SE) corner, as there isn't really any need to have kids bashing play blocks in the front section, for those adults (also with kids) who then can't then hold a conversation. Simple fix. B) North Seattle parents also need pub training. Post a simple sign: "The tap house is a tap house that welcomes children. It is not a daycare that serves beer. Inside voices, and closely-kept children please."

Too many kids, too many dogs, and not enough places to sit. They really should ban cars from the parking lot and fill it with tables. Better yet, put the play area outside. When it's cold and rainy, I don't want to be outside. Maybe, one day, the dentist will retire and they can take over the whole building. Until then, I'll drink at home.

3.5 stars. Good selection of beer and a cider or two on tap. Modest sized lot- I could see the food truck taking up coveted spots tho. Small deck that seems nice for sunny days. Seems custom made for those with little ones, and the parents have apparently come flocking since it's open a week or two ago. Bartender not particularly enthusiastic, but if I had to serve beer with simultaneous earfuls of the delightful squeals of children, I'd probably feel the same. Overall a tidy spot with lots of tasty beer choices. Would give another star if I had kids.

Love love this place. We don't have kids, but we think this place is awesome for people who do because moms and dads need a casual neighborhood spot to unwind too. I really like the energy, and I don't mind the tropical bird sounds (children) :)

The Broadview Tap House and Bottle Shop has a great selection of beers. And it is close to home. Since I do not have kids or dogs, and do not really care to be around either when enjoying good conversation and company over a beer, this establishment falls short. Way short. One might confuse it for a pre-school or a daycare were in not for the tiny bar and noisy food truck outside. As much as those who like to have their kids around when they drink seem to like the place, I doubt it will be around for very long; one cannot pay the bills to operate a bar when so much of its square footage and atmosphere is dedicated to patrons who don't yet own credit cards (no cash accepted) or are as likely to stand on a table as they are to sit at one. Service has ranged from good to downright surly, but I wouldn't be very cheery either if I were stuck in a romper room all afternoon. I was excited to see this place open in my neighborhood, but don't see myself spending much time or money there unless it grows up.

If you have little kids and love good beer, this is your dream spot on a rainy Sunday. There's a great kids section and the place was clean. We'll absolutely be coming here regularly.

Nice casual place for a beer. Lucky neighborhood. 26 beers on tap, plus some wine and Prosecco. No food truck the day I stopped in... Sunday 3:30). Simple inside with a bunch of tables and chairs. Friendly service and clean. Outside seating area that I believe was under cover. Several young families when I stopped in with little ones and strollers. At least one dog on the patio area. Felt very welcoming.

I'm thrilled to have Broadview Tap House in my neighborhood! It's a perfect spot to sit and have a drink and some food truck deliciousness with friends and neighbors, and I love that it's dog-friendly and has space for kids to play as well. Here's hoping it will be able to expand in the future; would be great to see it add food and more seating.

So glad Broadview has a taphouse. We can walk over from my parents' place, which is definitely a first for the neighborhood. I love the beer selection, they've got plenty of options of all different types of beer. And the rotating food trucks are fun as well, although once or twice the food truck present didn't line up with the name on the calendar. It's a pleasant outdoor seating area, and I appreciate they've got a couple games inside to share with your friends. Had a good round of cribbage with my parents. The bartenders have always been friendly and helpful with suggestions. I see a lot of people complaining about the kids, but I've never had them be disruptive enough to upset my visit. All in all, I'm looking forward to many future visits, especially since I'm hoping to catch one of their outdoor movies.

Weird playground for athleisure clad techies with young children who aren't quite ready to give up on the fond bar scene memories of their youth. Decent beer and decent (but very loud) food trucks don't really compensate for the over indulged wild children (and occasional dogs) roaming the spartan bar.

20+ craft beers, and ciders (a good variety of beer too- not just 20 IPAs)! A good-sized kids' play area that is still fresh and clean! Food trucks to accommodate hungry tummies. A cooler with juice boxes for said kiddos (or for grabbing a sixer to go). It's not huge, or fancy, but it's a nice addition to the neighborhood and a great place for parents to grasp a pint and a moment of sanity. Or a great place to fill a growler, or watch the game. When the sun shows up there's outside seating. Let's support small neighborhood taprooms! (In case the review wasn't clear, this place is excessively family/kid friendly, so if that's not your jam, be aware. It's also dog friendly though-FYI.)

I love that this place is walking distance from my house, allows dogs, and they have an outstanding selection of beer! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would give 5 stars if it weren't for the constant screaming children. I've been to places that allow kids, and it's possible to bring your children out in public and not have them running around screaming and ruining everything for others. The space is just too small for that nonsense. And to those who say we can go to any of the places that don't allow children... we can't necessarily walk there.

We absolutely love coming here! I come here for both work meetings and personal play dates. I have a daughter with severe food allergies. Typically it's very challenging for me to allow her to play at community play areas. This is literally the cleanest place I have ever been. The kids' play area is meticulously maintained and cleaned. I always feel super comfortable allowing her to jump in and have fun. I really appreciate this resource in the neighborhood. Also, the beers are fantastic! The employees are always so welcoming of kids and dogs. It's a great neighborhood community resource! Our family greatly appreciates you.
