Great variety of products and healthys snacks. They have some stuff that you can't get in other places. Amazing selection of tea and essential oils. Prices are also pretty good for the goods.

For several years, I've been buying the same custom juice at this place (kale, spinach, grapefruit, lemon). Two days ago, an employee told me he couldn't make that juice because grapefruits don't yield enough juice (I took oranges instead). Today, the same employee (Lema, if I remember correctly) said again that he wouldn't make the juice because he had to add an apple to make it profitable. I said I didn't want an apple and that I would pay extra or take a smaller cup so as not to unnecessarily dilute the juice just to get 16oz. However, the man insisted. This was my last purchase at this store. The service is different than it used to be, unfortunately, it's worse.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I’ve had multiple experiences here with very inconsistent and often rude customer service. On a separate visit prior to this one, staff followed me around the store in a way that made me feel uncomfortable, as if I were suspected of stealing, even though I was simply there to order a drink. That alone made the experience unpleasant and unwelcoming. On my most recent visit, the store was listed as open until 10 PM, yet when I tried to order a pineapple smoothie at 8:43 PM, I was told drinks stop at 8:30. Moments later, I was offered a different drink without pineapple, which felt more like reluctance to prepare it than an actual cutoff. For the prices charged, the attitude is disappointing. Additionally, the C health grade posted near the entrance is concerning for a business handling raw fruits and vegetables.

It’s ok. Nothing great. Produce is old. Small shop to grab packaged health food. They do have a good fresh squeezed juice stand. Staff friendly.

Last night, the employee working the register said some incredibly hurtful and wildly inappropriate things to my partner and I while checking out, including telling my partner he needed to "lose more weight." We both have been loyal customers for many years but will not be returning after this interaction. Nobody should ever be shamed for the way they look or how they live, especially while shopping in a store dedicated to health and wellness.

They make really good juices and smoothies for a good price. Really great for gut health. I struggle with constipation.I always go to the bathroom on the day I drink their smoothies. They also have other products like really good smelling incense sticks.

Okay I have passed this place 100 times and never bothered to go in until recently. Now I've been back about 10 times. I first went in because my typical place for a protein shake was closed. You can add protein to any drink of your choice and it was delicious. Then I've gone in a few times when everyone I know has been getting sick and I wanted some extra vitamins. Got the immune booster drink, very good! Will be back often. They also have a great selection of health and wellness products for decent prices. Great selections of teas, some groceries, vitamins, healthy snacks, etc. kicking myself that I didn't go in this place sooner!

Wide variety of specialty foods and ingredients. The juice bar is one of the better options nearby, as they have a wider array of vegetables to choose from that other places (delis) do not (bok choy, Swiss chard, broccoli, etc.).

Owner is very knowledgable and willing to assist/ answer questions. The dimensions of the storefront are small enough that it would be impossible for them to stock 3-4 different brands, as larger health food stores often do. However, the instore selection is surprisingly complete unto itself. You cld get basically hit everything on yoir list at this one spot, except for organic produce. Prices werent outrageous either, altho last time i was thr was a month ago. That may have changed. Nonetheless, id still prioritize spots like this, if you can muster the $ together to shop here. 98% of these legit natural food shops have walked away from thr leases, never to be seen again, and most of those that remain now, ont last another year, unless ppl make a concerted effort to support them. So if like the idea of small business, id say its our duty to patronize the small businesses who are still trying to make the dream happen.

This review is solely for the juice bar The juice bar is amazing. It's fresh squeezed right in front you! You see all the produce and fruits right there as well. They always juice more than necessary and let's you drink some and pour the rest into your cup. The employees are so friendly. I've tried every single combo and each one was amazing. Totally recommend!!

The bottom line with this place is that it's conveniently located by the Broadway stop on the NQ line, has reasonable prices, a friendly staff, and tasty treats that I like to pick up when I'm in a rush. I couldn't ask for a better place so close to my commute. This place has been a lifesaver on multiple occasions when I was starving and needed something quick and healthy to eat. Things I like to get here: 1. Banana and/or carrot cake raisin bran muffins. They're healthy and tasty and cheap. I've run out the door on my way to the lab a number of times and realized that I forgot to pack lunch and these snacks helped me out a lot. 2. Clif now makes these Vanilla Almond soy-protein based builder's bars, which they basically sell for the same price as amazon does so... I just buy them here a few at a time. They're packed with protein and great right before a workout. 3. They sell this like soy-based chicken salad or something. I was skeptical at first, but it was really good and not expensive so I buy that sometimes. It's pretty tasty. I think the dill helps a lot. 4. They sell cashew-nut and coconut-based ice creams so I buy those when I want to accelerate the process of me getting diabetes without consuming milk protein. Pretty awesome. Anyhow, I really like this place and the price is right so... yeah. I've recently gone "mostly vegan" meaning that I'm avoiding meat, milk, eggs and animal foodstuffs (but, not entirely because I mean sometimes I want an italian sausage sandwich or a steak or eggs... super sad). :D Broadway natural has really helped me stick to my plan without destroying my bank account so... hooray!

Broadway natural has an incredibly curated selection of organic products. The produce is ALWAYS fresh, the products are well stocked and they have a great juice bar! The staff are also super super friendly. The only downfall to this store is the price markups are crazy high! I still prefer to go here over the other natural store close by, but I do wish the prices were a little lower.

Seems like the only organic market I can find on Broadway. Small, but reasonably priced. The smoothies and fresh drinks are great, if only they put some ice in their drinks. Their strawberry smoothie was fine, but didn't really taste like strawberries. But as for their freshly squeezed orange juice, tastes just like Tropicana OJ! Their small cup is the size of a cup given in Happy Meals for McDonald's...probably a bit more smaller. For $3.50, I can probably get 3x the size at Lots O' Bagels a few stores down, but their freshly squeezed OJ has a bitter taste. Super nice staff & can't wait to try the other drinks!

They have a great juice bar! Plus they always make a little extra juice so you can have some quick and then they fill up your cup again. If you're lucky they will have their kitty in the store too :)

My go-to spot for health food items and tasty (healthier!) treats. They have a small but mighty produce section, plus the other natural grocery categories you'd expect (freezer, dairy and of course non-dairy, packaged foods, vitamins, cleaning products, etc.), and a popular juice bar. I'm a sucker for their bulk stuff--nuts, dates and chocolate-covered almonds especially. Friendly, fast checkout. Say hi to the cute calico cat guarding the place.

Yes, it is lovely to have a vegetarian friendly store in a meat centric area like Astoria. I really wanted to like Broadway Naturals. But I have two problems with this store. 1- the prices. There is no reason for it to be so expensive here. If I wanted to spend $60 on one bag of groceries I would go to Whole Foods. 2- the staff. Often condescending about my purchases, sometimes outright rude. And one guys was spotted hitting a kitten in the store. Yes, I said hitting. a kitten. in the store. If I want health food I'll go two blocks up to Sai Organics, or just make the trek to whole foods.

Broadway natural is right next to my house so it is easy for me to pick up some last minute organic ingredients if I don't feel like making the trek farther down the street. They are very small so keep in mind they might not have the exact vegetable you are looking for but for the most part they are pretty well stocked. My favorite thing about this place is their organic juice bar. You can get a delicious fresh pressed green drink for like 6 bucks which is not bad considering all the great veggies they pack into your drink for you. My second favorite thing is their vitamin isle. I used to religiously shop at whole foods for my supplements but now that I live in the big city, it isn't as convenient for me to get to. Broadway natural has a fantastic selection of every vitamin and mineral you could possibly need and they conveniently stock the brand I usually buy. Yay for me! They also have a great selection if ingredients that are a but more difficult to find at other stores in Astoria, which makes it a great speciality healthy food shop. I love this place I'm happy it's close to me

I am disappointed in the staff and service at this store. They do nothing to accommodate the client. I wished to make this place my daily juice place, unfortunately I couldn't because of how aggravated you'd get when ordering. They would give you tons of apples and 1 leaf of green, maybe trying to save money. Not sure still. Grapefruits are not pressed but blended which gives them the worst bitter taste ever. They do have the machine but won't use it even though all it would require is to semi peel the thing and cut it in half! too much work I guess for an $8 juice!!! Too Bad. Hope they get a better staff that is customer and service oriented. The experience is HORRIBLE each time! Will definitely give Sai a try! Also for those looking for organic produce that it not OVERPRICED. Try Trade Fair on Crescent and Broadway! The selection is pretty good and prices are definitely better.

Fresh squeezed juice, bath and beauty products, vitamins, great variety of food, coffee, reasonably priced for organic food. What I like best is the friendly staff.

This place has been around the corner for me for the year I've been living in Astoria and somehow, I didn't know it. I thought they were new but I found out from the very friendly man behind the counter that they've been open longer than I've been legal. Broadway Natural is a heath food haven. They carry every organic brand under the sun! There's chips, cereal, canned soup, pastas, protein bars, breads, cookies, frozen foods, a cooler with prepared juices like Odwallas, a case with ready-to-eat vegetarian "meat" sandwiches and other salads, dairy, a produce section in the back, and a dried bulk section in the front. They also have a very nice vitamin and beauty stock. There's a veggie and juice bar up front and I got myself a small juice which was delicious, but overpriced for the portion. Still, I felt like I was doing something spectacular for my body while I was drinking it so I guess it was worth the $3.50 for ~3oz. Honestly, it kinda makes me wish I was a vegan. It only loses a star for being a tad overpriced, but I think it's a 5 star kind of place for selection, pleasant service and overall feel-goodness about it.

I just moved to Astoria last month a Broadway Natural has already become one of my favorite places on Broadway. Definitely come here for the juices and smoothies. The produce is fresh and the price is so reasonable. I agree with other yelpers that the prices for certain things in the store are a little high. You could probably find it for cheaper at whole foods, but why not support local businesses so that places like Broadway natural can stick around. They have a great selection of organic and healthy foods. Don't let the small size of the store fool you, they pack a bunch of different thing in here. If you're not into that at least stop by for a post-workout smoothie. yum.

Great juice bar! While they do have a large selection of organic and vegan brands, I sometimes find that it's hit-or-miss when I'm looking for something which is why I usually stick to Greenbay Market down the street for groceries because they seem to replenish more often and overall have a bigger variety. I do buy some groceries at Broadway Natural though that are hard to find anywhere else in Astoria (like seitan for instance... and ener-g egg replacer). 4 stars because I love their juice and the people are nice :)

I love this store! I buy 95% of my groceries here; even though it is small in size, they have everything a "natural foods health freak" like me could want. Fresh organic produce, bulk nuts, seeds, etc, a full selection of healthy cereals, grains, soups, pastas, rices, and frozen section, fresh dairy and vegan dairy products, beauty products, supplements, and they even have a fresh peanut butter grinder! I use this a lot, it's awesome and much cheaper (and more pure) than buying pre packaged peanut butter. They also have a full juice bar, fruit and veggie! They are kind of pricey, but not in comparison to other places, juices are just pricey in general. They average $5 for a small and $6 for a large and you can choose to put in whatever you want! The staff here is also quite friendly, and there's a live-in cat which ads a nice touch :)

Nice peeps for sure, but overpriced. Sai on 30th ave is much better alternative as far as price concerned. Good selection of organic veggies, meat, frozen items, natural soap, and happy ending with juice bar.

It is ok, good assortment of products. if you are not allergic to cats, cat "pollen" on your produce, and the staff that always seem to be inconvienenced by any questions, or requests. They are only following the owners arrogant, know-it-all attitude. so if you don't mind kissing someone's ass to take your money, this is the place for you.

Clean, if you ignore the cat. I actually really like this place. I come here often to find all the specialty things that aren't available at the surrounding grocery stores. They are always super nice and helpful and their prices are terrible, considering the items are going to be a little pricey no matter where you go. * I've never bought produce here, I usually stick to their refrigerated and dry goods.

Although this is the closest shop selling organic goods for me, I go out of my way to buy elsewhere. I simply refuse to patronize a shop with an unfriendly owner despite being a repeat customer and with staff who follow me around as if I were a shoplifter. I have not stepped foot there in years and do not plan to ever go back.

Great selection of vegan items and ingredients here. I go for their boxed cereals, plus there are tons of different kinds of honeys, nut butters, flours, etc. Their selection of personal care items is quite large. I love their soaps. As most have said, the prices are a bit steep, but you get what you pay for. The only thing I'm not sure about are the bulk items. I feel like at a big store with tons of foot traffic like say Whole Foods probably replenishes their almonds, trail mixes, granolas, etc once every couple days but here, you wonder if they get shopped enough. I think the stuff must get old and sit there for days on end. Not a good sign.

Super awesome selection! I stop in when I'm in the Broadway area. I'd shop here more if I lived closer, too. They have a great selection of all things natural, organic, and healthy. They even have a superb selection of toiletries, cleaning products, and other household goods. They're prices are comparable to similar stores in the area, too. All in all, this place gets two thumbs up!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Every time I go in and have questions about anything health food/supplement related they always know exactly what I am talking about. The store is always kept very clean and organized and the product is fairly priced. So happy to have this little store in Astoria!

Someone who isn't a Vegan, Vegetarian, health conscious or into an organic diet might miss this place completely. Those that consume or purchase these foods and products know that they can go for a higher price. Broadway Natural is a little market that doesn't over inflate their prices, well at least in most items anyway. I see many people come in for their juiced drinks. They come in combinations like: carrot, celery, apples, oranges, spinach, etc. Again, the price for these juiced fruits and vegetables are priced right. What you can expect at Broadway Natural, besides the friendly staff, are a variety of items in small batches. For example, when you walk in the organic chocolates and energy/fruit/Clif bars are right there, which can be bought in different flavors. You can also buy self scoop organic nuts, chocolates and confections by the pound. At about nine dollars a pound, I recommend the Organic Cacao with Goji cubes (though they say it's gluten free, it's not recommended for those who can't consume nuts, soy, wheat or milk lactose). Down the first aisle on your right as you enter would be the refrigeration section with organic packed meats and veggies/tofu products made to look like meat. The sandwiches, milk, eggs, yogurt, cheese and other items need being cold are here also. Down further in the back is the frozen section to get gluten free frozen pizza, burritos and frozen products. The bottles or containers or juices are here also, along with the ice cream. The organic vegetables and fruits in the back are fresh and depending on the item, not too much more than for non-organic. The opposite aisle all the way on the other side has vitamins, soaps and cleansers, which I don't use, so I won't go in more detail on that. I don't like synthetic vitamins, no pills for me please. The other things available include organic/natural chips, salsa, breads, cereals, rice, grains, pastas, beans and other stuff I have over looked or didn't memorize.

I shop here twice a week on my way home from work. It has a great selection of healthy snacks and organic produce. Sometimes I'll get a fresh juice and they also have wheat grass. Also, the owner always gives good advice on vitamins and is knowledgeable about what he carries.

By far my favorite natural store in the Astoria area. They actually sell many meat products which other stores don't. They sell a variety of organic products including oils, coffee, cereal, cleaning items.

Nice selection. I almost always supplement my regular grocery shopping with items from Broadway Natural. I especially love the Ezekial wraps they sell.

Broadway Natural will definitely be seeing more of me and my greenbacks! The store is of ample size and offers just about everything you could want from a small organic/natural grocery. The prices reflect the location, as it is very close to the train. I can't say without some degree of uncertainty that I like it better than Sai Organics on 30th Av., but each has its benefits.

GREEN JUICE YESSSS this place is the shieeet. They also have wheatgrass. Place has been here a while, has become true staple in the neighborhood. I can call myself a regular here now. I come here often and these guys know there health. They have great selection and variety of snacks and produce. Juice is always consistent and fresh. Prices are very reasonable for the amt of juice. Def try it out, get the large for dollar more its worth it.

I love this little health food store. Prices are decent and they have a great selection of food and household items. They also have quite a juice menu and if you don't like what's on the menu they'll make whatever combination you want. Last but not least they have the cutest cat that hangs out in the store. He's a little skittish but very friendly. :-)

I went to this store tonight and bought some things, and I saw the cat and decided to play with it, then it bit and scratch me! My fault, should have never done it. I tried to like cats, but I think this is the last straw. I still like the store, but it is a bit pricey though. The workers are alright, hope they feed and give the cat, water, cause it's always hot in there, when I go there.

I love this place! Everyone there is soooo friendly and helpful! They have a wide selection of things and their prices are great! I haven't tried their juice bar, but it always looks delicious!

Super nice people, generally fair prices, and great experience overall! This area is filled with similar markets, but I find myself returning here at least once every few weeks for something.

The fresh juices are great and decently priced. As for the inventory, you're better off shopping online. I purchased a container of Green Vibrance here but later found it for half the price on amazon.

This is a great store. I've been shopping here for years and I love the staff and owner. They're very friendly and helpful. Its a small store but the produce is fresh and its reasonably priced for organics. I love the juice bar. Please support this local store. Its a rare healthy oasis to have in astoria.

i bought a pretty pricey cream here, they had the whole line, no testers. their lavigne organic peptide cream. i like the cream but clearly i paid more than i should have. not their problem, mine. i'll be reordering on line. online it's priced in the $20's. i paid $41.99!!!!! i usually shop around but i thought i'd treat myself spur of the moment. you've been warned!

Used to buy coffee there every day. Once I put hot coffee on the side of the cashier table while picking up some sweets. The tall guy in glasses on the cashier start to yell at me. And when I asked him if there is any problem, he start to call me crazy. He continued repeat "crazy" several times while I was paying money to him. I like their coffee and sweets but I wont go there again. Very rude

This store has great customer service, I once bought a salad dressing only to get home and find that it was the last day of the expiration date, I called and was offered a full refund upon my next visit. The staff is always helpful and the selection is great. My only complaint would be that the prices for items that I would normally buy at a natural store or whole foods in manhattan is in excess of $1-$2 per item. Therefore, I usually only frequent when I don't have the time or energy to leave the neighborhood.

Great natural juice spot. I come here for all my organic groceries. They also have a nice selection of soaps, essential oils, deodorants, cleaning supplies and healthy snacks.
