Where to Drink a Guinness in the Indianapolis Area This Winter | Eater

"This Carmel-based public house claims to serve the most Guinness in the Hoosier State and to pour the perfect pint — dispensed at a 45-degree angle and with patience, allowing the foam to form the forty head precisely at 119.53 seconds. With regular trivia nights, open mics, and live music, Brockway Pub is a good time year round." - Brian Garrido

Been here twice now.. it's a fun little Irish pub. They have quick, friendly, and efficient service. My husband likes the Ruben and the fish and chips! I had the stew the first time and while it was good it was waaay too salty (and I like salty food..). I had the wings at my next visit, they were Very good and I'm not really a wings person. I thoroughly enjoyed the Enlightenment cocktail and my husband enjoyed the Irish margarita, it sounds strange but 'don't knock it till you try it'

Great ambiance! I was here for work and wandered into this place. There happened to be a Pacers, conference finals basketball game on and it had just started. I walked in to hear and insanely loud bar and they were clearly very into their team. I sat down at the only open spot at the bar. The food was great, cottage pie was very tasty. The chips and queso was surprisingly very tasty as well. Fresh chips and hot melty queso, great with a Guinness!

Was in town for a wedding and I stopped in with a friend a couple days ago. I really enjoyed this bar, it's pretty nice. The bar has a solid drink menu and lots of affordable options. It's easy to find parking and there's plently of seating at the bar and tables around the restaurant. Sydni, the bartender that served us, was very nice, friendly, and attentive. She made our drinks well and got them out to us quickly. We are so thankful to have met such a nice bartender!!

Google
Excited to try this place, cute decor and feel. Sign said seat yourself so we did in the bar, it wasn’t very busy but no one greeted us or anything for awhile, bartender noticed us eventually, and asked if we wanted a beer or anything. We ordered a beer and some water. She then told a male server who was sitting in another table what we wanted. He then found a female server and told her what we wanted. Eventually, she brought the beer and then the waters. We asked for some menus. We ordered the Trinity chili, the shrimp Popsicles, the salmon BLT with chips, and the corn beef and slaw sandwich with steak fries. Overall, the food was pretty plain. We did not care for the special sauce and the cocktail sauce was too tomatoey had no bite to it. The corn beef and slaw sandwich barely had a horseradish flavor. The experience was fine but nothing stellar. C’est la vie.

Staff is always really nice. Food and drinks are just okay. The Trump flag is off-putting. Won’t return.

Google
Stopped in here on the way back to Chicago. Food was really good but the staff (4 total behind bar) were more interested in socializing amongst themselves instead of greeting us or asking if we needed anything. I was brought the bill when we were going to order more. Won’t be back here anytime soon. The management seriously needs to step in and see what their employees aren’t doing.

Google
The political atmosphere of this place is a bit much. There was an older Caucasian man sitting next to me at the bar and blatantly asked me do I feel as if racism has gotten better, worse, or no change. I said better because there was a moment in history where a Black person could not even enter a restaurant like the very one that he and I are having this conversation in. He then tells me that I experience life different due to having pretty privilege and that white people are only nice to me because I’m pretty. 😩 I felt totally uncomfortable and will not enter this place again, because what in the world?!!!! The bartender was nice, but even the staff kept looking at me as if I were lost or something. No thanks.

Google
I hate to give a bad review but this was rough. Our food was left in the fryer for too long so it was overcooked and greasy. I’ve seen bouncy balls softer than the eggs in the Scotch eggs we had. Their trivia night was overshadowed by the patrons at the bar. I asked our server to politely ask them to be quieter so we could hear the questions and the patrons only got louder. There are other small things like the barrel stools being extremely uncomfortable but that’s not an easy fix. I’m disappointed to say the least, especially since this place had glowing reviews.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
I came to trivia night on Wednesday, which incidentally was $1 wing night. I am now hooked on these wings. They were served fresh with the best flavor! The nightly drink specials made it even more affordable. Fun atmosphere and great service from the staff. Great places to sit outside as well! Definitely a great midweek night, or any night destination!

Yelp
Where do you go on a fine soft day in late December In Indiana to watch the game and grab a hearty meal? Brockway Pub. Super delicious. The chops hit the spot with the braised cabbage and colcannon. There is more than enough (yay! Breakfast). Guinness take a bit and are the perfect temperature. Find a seat. The server will find you and you well fed and hydrated. There are enough TVs all tuned to the Colts. Tuesday is session night. Go a listen or join it on trad Irish music by the folks just looking to play together. Släinte!

Veronica H.

Yelp
The servers are always nice but the food and drinks are just okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here when there are better options in Carmel. The Trump flag is disappointing - we won't be back.

Yelp
Tried the Brockway for the first time tonight was excited about experiencing a true Irish pub. The food was good and our waitress was excellent but the evening dinner was ruined by loud and abnoxious rap music. When I asked the waitress, why are they playing that in the Irish pub? She said it was the jukebox and somebody had chosen that well it went on for the whole time we were there . Why would an Irish pub even have that as a choice on the jukebox how about some nice Irish Music for the ambience. Read the room people it's an Irish pub

Yelp
Service was bad, food ok, ambiance nothing to write home about. I know this review is rather brief but why spent more time thinking about a very forgettable dinning experience

Steven P.

Yelp
My wife and I had dinner here last night. She had the shepherds pie (it had a different name but it was shepherds pie), and I had the fish and chips. The menu said the fish and chips comes with 2 sides. The waitress, who was very nice although new, came back and said the chips count as a side. Ok, so I had the chips and a side of cooked cabbage. The chips came out cold which made them inedible for me. I informed the waitress who informed the manager and they took them off the bill. Cool. The shepherds pie was mediocre, my wife only ate about half of it. I have been on the toilet all morning with severe abdominal pain and diarrhea. We will not be back.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Irish pubs in Indy and one of the best places to go for a Guinness. When we stopped in, we also ordered the Scotch Eggs. Talk about deliciousness!! Thee might be the best Scottish Eggs I've had! They were crispy in the outside and bursting with flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive. I'm a fan of all the decor too. We go here most times we're on the north side.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in to one of my favorite Irish pubs in Indy for a tasty pint of Guinness. While here, we had the scotch eggs, which are some of the best I've had!!! The staff is friendly and attentive and always a good conversation with fellow patrons. If you're in the area, you definitely need to stop in!

Yelp
Went here after dinner with friends to catch the IU vs. Purdue game. The amount of tv's was great and the people and atmosphere where nice and not to loud or crowded. It is a smaller place as seen from the pics but it ads to the ambiance. The only issue we had which is my fault for not checking my bill before I gave the server my card was being charged for a drink I never got. I only had ordered a whiskey on the rocks and cider so how she lost count of the amount of drinks I had stumps me but be it as it may overall a decent place.

Yelp
Purchased a gift certificate via Fox59 to try the place out as a family [myself, wife, 22 y/o daughter & 19 y/o son]. Felt it was unique in its decor & layout compared to other options around. It was seat yourselves and we probably should have chosen a larger table for our group of 4, but we liked the character of our little booth and stools that was just off of the bar. Our server was very pleasant and attentive, quickly finding the answers to our questions such as if Smithwick's was included in the daily pint special (it was). We found the music selection peculiar, or at least not committed to the Irish vibe. Assume it appeals to some demographic, maybe younger, but not my wife and I so much. Daughter knew the music, but she said we heard the same song twice apparently within the hour+ that we were there. Sampled the fish bites, eggs, and pickle chips appetizers. Egg option was unique, son liked it a lot although not sure I personally would order again. Pickle chips were pretty good, we would consider them on a future visit. Fish was fine, although I assume it was just a 'nugget' version of the standard fish & chips. Probably wouldn't do it again. Daughter ordered chicken sandwich with dublin chips. She enjoyed the sandwich and really liked her cheesy chips. Son went with Reuben and fries. Thought fries were OK, sandwich was good but probably preferred the Reuben at Muldoon's. Wife and I each did the fish wrap, she with the plain chips and me with the fries. Both enjoyed the wrap with its grilled cod and would do it again. Also both preferred the chips she ordered, but felt they needed a bit more seasoning or flavor. Very much appreciated the happy hour & daily specials on a Monday [1/2 off appetizers, $4 or $5 (?) pints, $8 handhelds]. Would definitely entertain a return for the same specials offers. Son likes Premiere League and is very interested in returning for future soccer viewing.

Yelp
Went for early dinner Arrived prior to 6 and was greeted immediately. They have a huge beer menu. We ordered Scotch Eggs. The eggs were good but unlike others we have had these were like chicken fried. They came with a horseradish/mayo sauce which was good The beer was good and cold. Served in a normal tavern glass My husband ordered fish and chips. He thought it was wonderful. Real beer batter. Pub fries and English peas I had corn beef and cabbage. It was a disappointment. The cabbage was good but the corn beef was thick slices prepared on a grill and placed in some kind of Guinness sauce. I ate it but would not order it again We ordered Irish cheese cake. It was normal cheese cake with chocolate sauce all over it and some kind of whipped cream? On the side. Didn't expect the chocolate and the cream stuff looked like cottage cheese We ordered coffee and asked for a refill. They said we got the last two coffee's and couldn't have a refill. Our waitress was new to this location so we let a couple of things pass The atmosphere is differently pub. Set up for group drinking and no frills dining We left about 7:15 and there was a wait. They do not take reservations I probably won't go back but if you like that old pub atmosphere and no frills dining with megs tv's this is the place for you

Yelp
I've been to Brockway twice now, and evaluating this restaurant reminds me of one of the taglines used in the 1990's TV show The X-Files - "I want to believe...". I want Brockway to be my go-to source for the Pub experience. I want very badly for the food to impress me. I want the service to be great. The problem is, those things never really materialize. The ambiance is certainly great, and the location on Old Meridian is a prime spot. But, that's where the fun stops. Bangers & Mash is usually something I get very excited about, but here, the dish lacked excitement. I'm sure we'll probably be back again. I came very close to just doing three stars, to avoid seeming negative. But, two is all I could muster here. I'll come again, and I'll branch out on the menu a little. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

Yelp
I wanted to try something new for st paddy's this year and let's just say what I expected wasn't at all what I received ! The service and ambiance was no friendly and just ok they only were service st paddy's day menu with a very select menu ! I got the shepads pie served in a paper tray no served with a single side for $19 and my friend a sandwich and fires for $15 ! I do give them grace as it is the busiest few days for them but I wish server would have been friendly asking if we needed other things with more flavor for food and served on a plate ! The manager did take care of my concerns which I appreciate not sure I would choose to return for lunch maybe after st paddy's day to try other menu items definetely a bar vibe

Yelp
You know it's funny, I have been coming here for years but had not been this far North for a while. Stopped in here to revisit some Scotch Eggs and memories! The bar is stocked, the beer is diverse and cold and the bar grub is delicious! The BPH has an old soul but is set in a modern, suburban apt / condo & retail strip. But don't let the exterior fool you! Inside is a neighborhood-based community of legacy, hopes & dreams! Modeled after someone's vision of Dublin, or the Northside of Chicago, BPH is as authentic Irish Pub experience you are going to get in Carmel, IN! Food is pub grub, but good! Beers are plenty and the whiskey selection is Irish, but diverse. You don't have Suavecito Tequila anymore, but I still love you! Scotch Eggs for everyone! And the service is always friendly!

Yelp
The interior is what you'd expect from a Pub named Brockway Public House with a large bar, tall-top and 4-top tables and several tables to accomadate a group. Many flat-screens are placed throughout the restaurant with 3 over the bar. An outdoor patio, on two sides of the building, is available when weather permits. I'm looking forward to warmer weather so we can take advantage of the patio. The atmosphere is fun, many regular patrons, full of laughter and loud most of the time. During one of my past visits I ordered the Barley Salad Mixed Greens (a few to many bitter ones) with cooked barley, walnuts, dried cherries, tossed with olive oil dressing and touch of lemon. Not a fan of the olive oil dressing which I thought was to heavy for the salad and overpowers the flavors. They used a small amount of barley which was nice and not a flavor deterrent. Walnuts were excellent, sweet and helps offset the bitterness of the greens if not mixed thoroughly. I noticed on my last visit this salad is no longer on the menu. I was extremely disappointed in the service. Drink order and lunch arrived timely then it was as if we didn't exist. It appeared everyone sitting at tables felt the same and a couple actually moved to the bar while others steamed. The bartender was the only server waiting tables right now and he seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people rolling in with a total of 6 couples (only two w/food orders) and 4 bar drinkers. Maybe it's just his personality but after food was dropped off he was a ghost. We were never checked on again to check if food was fine, nor any drink refills. Not one! Nice beer selection & specialty drinks but with this type of service you certainly don't want to order another drink. We shouldn't have to sit at the bar to get decent service. Couple at next table ate, gave up on ordering another beer, paid at the bar and left. Outdoor tables were coming in for refills so keep that in mind if you sit outdoors. Because of the beer selection we'll be back but I'm not sure we'll try ordering food again unless we sit at bar. I prefer not to eat a full meal at the bar though. Today, service 1 star, food 3 stars. Great Lunch menu selection from the Pick 2 for $9.99, available Monday through Friday 11 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Decent lunch selection with Reuben, BLT, Turkey and Cheddar, Corned Beef and Slaw, Fish, 4 Wings and a Guinness Chop. Today's visit was much improved from my last visit. The bartender, M. Sawyer, had a full bar so I selectioned one of the small tables in the bar area. The bartender was attentive, friendly, timely and made a nice cocktail. I ordered off of the small plates section of the regular menu. The Brockway Bams sounded good so I ordered those and a margarita. The Bams are Icelandic cod bites prepared with their award winning beer batter and served with Brockway sauce. I was concerned they would be either all batter, overcooked or extremely greasy. I was pleasantly surprised when a heaping portion of fish arrived with sauce. The Fish Nuggets had a light beer batter, perfectly golden brown with fresh, flaky fish inside. Very affordable appetizer for $9.50 and can easily share or have as a meal. Today's visit was a totally different experience which was pleasant with good food and drink. I'll return sooner hoping the service is consistent with today's. Fun location on Old Meridian with street parking or in lot behind the businesses.

Yelp
Food menu was disgusting and sticky with old food or drinks. Guinness on tap is a plus, I've had better and worse pours at other places. Everything was beyond salty except for the fries with 0 seasoning. Service was ok, doubtful I'd be back. Decorated Irish theme that just felt fake and hokie
google avatar

Lola S.

Yelp
The table was dirty and there was a weird musty smell. The Irish margarita only tasted like bourbon and the fries and the pretzels were so bland they didn't even have salt. The burger here was bland which is normal considering I go a cheeseburger but ever the patty just tasted like raw meat. The ale sauce was watery and had no flavor. Overall, I probably wouldn't come here again. The service was fast though and the lady was nice.

Yelp
So I've been to Brock way plenty of times over the last two years. Figured it was time to give them kudos. The two guys they had working tonight have great customer service skills. Both very friendly and very efficient. I don't have either name unfortunately, but I've had the pleasure of being waited on by both before. But they're ideal bar/pub servers. As far as food goes, most people are missing out on this place. Please stop for more than just a drink! They have a great menu, that no matter what I order I enjoy. I do strongly recommend the chowder, especially on cold damp days, as well as any of their sandwiches. It's also just a great themed spot, really represents that local bar feeling you want, better than a modern gastro pub. It's inviting like a pub is supposed to be! Every time I'm in I feel welcomed and like my business is appreciated. Keep it up!

Jean H.

Yelp
Excellent food, beer and waiter/bartender!! Really enjoyed celebrating our 46th Anniversary here!

Tanner B.

Yelp
Way too expensive for an Irish pub, at an Irish pub you should be able to go there after work have a few beers maybe a sandwich and pay under 20 bucks, I'm pretty sure Guinness is seven dollars there
google avatar

Ethan Z.

Yelp
This place is right across the street from where I live and is a great spot to get drinks with friends while enjoying a Pub atmosphere with live music. They really do capture the Pub vibe and aesthetic rather than a bar, they are very relaxed and easy-going as well as is Pub food. The first few times that I went there I was only interested in getting some drinks and staying for the atmosphere. I recently went back and get their food, although it's not the typical type of food that I usually eat, it still was good and I commend them on that! We got the Scotch Eggs, Popcorn Shrimp, Bavarian Pretzel, Fried Pickles, and Mac-n-Cheese bites. All of the food was good as you would expect, nothing truly "stood out" as it was all bar food. Their staff is really great and accommodating, they work hard to cater to each guest without leaving anyone out. I also think this place has a cool culture due to the reoccurring customers that they have cultivated over the years! I will definitely be going back and look forward to seeing their St. Patricks Day celebration!

Yelp
Excellent food and ambience! We happened in late on a Tuesday night after a long day and it was such a treat to have a group of musicians playing Irish music. Really made for a great experience! The food is very very good, there's a huge variety of beer and a nice, dark and cozy Irish pub feel! Open late and great for late night bites!!

Yelp
We enjoyed Brockaway Pub for an early Sunday lunch. I would like to see how the crowd compares to other pubs during soccer games, it could be a nice alternative! The bartender that waited on us was very friendly. She made a great spicy Bloody Mary! We ordered euro chips, a corned beef sandwich, and the Guinness stew. The Guinness stew was very flavorful and hearty! When I ordered a side item of house chips, the cook accidentally made the appetizer size and they let us have the extra :) pretty cost effective as well, our bill was about $50 and we each had a couple drinks.

Carole B.

Yelp
Sydney was excellent and friendly. My wife and I had the fish & chips which were flavorful accompanied by a few pints of Guinness. We were here on a Tuesday and enjoyed the live Irish music.

Andrew S.

Yelp
Great vibes Casey creates a nice ambiance in the place. I've been here before, but I really enjoyed my time here today. Cydni is really great too. She remembers people and makes them feel remembered and important. Really cool place. Used to live up here. Stopped in to see the place. Gotta leave a review. Great spot

Jennifer M.

Yelp
And friend and I are both handicapped and they were very rude to us and said that they didn't have room in their restaurant for us even though we saw many empty tables
google avatar

Seth D.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, food and service. Absolutely a must visit. Will definitely be going back!

Chris M.

Yelp
Way lucky enough to have Dominic as our server. Knowledgeable, friendly, and had great recommendations. Also advised that this is a great place to check out Premier League football. If you get a chance, ask for him when you come. Fantastic service! Thanks, Dominic!

Yelp
I went to Ireland two years ago and it was definitely one of my favorite vacations ever. Let me tell you. This place was a very pleasant surprise to find. Brought me right back. The wonderful waitress was working her butt off. They had cold smithwicks on draft. And they had games on the tv. What more could I want? Can't wait to drag everyone here.
google avatar

Penny J.

Yelp
Chowder was very good, quiet atmosphere when I was there. Bartender was friendly. I will be back for sure
google avatar

Brooke H.

Yelp
Great bar in Carmel!! The food is meh if I'm being totally honest. It's definitely more of a bar. St Pattys always leads to a huge celebration here, live music and quite the party. It's evolved into more of an adult bar, not a ton of young people anymore. It's still fun to head in for Friday live music here. They're open pretty late too! The service is always good and quick.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
Great spot that I just so happened to stumble upon because of a Yelp recommendation. My girlfriend and I decided to stop in here for a few drinks and thought the place was awesome. Met one of the owners and he was very friendly and made some good beer recommendations. Really an authentic style Irish pub.
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
What a great local Irish pub. This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere that had TV's so we could watch the playoffs. The drinks were good, but the food was Yum, Yum, Yummy! I don't remember our servers name but she was super friendly. We will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Kristin M.

Yelp
What a fun little Irish place with a "Cheers"-like feel. Some friends and I came on Friday for happy hour and drinks and were greeted quickly. The bar was busy, not packed, but the staff seemed rushed and forgot things like straws in mixed drinks, missed items on food, but overall service was decent. I'd come back but service could be picked up a bit. Oh. Please make the tartar sauce better & actually mush the mushy peas ;) :)
google avatar

Jan W.

Yelp
Came here to watch Us vs Mexico soccer game based on yelp recommendations. Sorry, a BIG miss. Who has live music during a major soccer event at pub? Then, charge premium prices for beer served in plastic. I would have bought a premium beer but, I won't drink out of plastic. On second listen ....Micky, and her music grew on me. I look forward to seeing her again! Honestly, she and the bartender Mckenzie, turned this review from a 1 to a 3 star review. Kitchen needs to stay open till midnight. Just sayin

Torri B.

Yelp
Love this bar. Great service every day of the week. Very personable staff. Haven't had the chance to make it to trivia night yet, but I can't wait to get a group out there.

Yelp
Stopped here for some beers and food after a run. The good news is great beers on tap and good food. Had a few smithwicks and Guinness. A little crowded and hard to move around.

Yelp
I walked by this place initially because there was really no indication where it was but it was a good lap to take as I needed those steps to complete my Apple Watch move goal. The place was super Irish Flags everywhere including the menu. I ordered the Fish & Chips as it was the Monday special. For drinks I had the Strong Ireland & the Brockaway Fizz. I was very disappointed in the drinks...not saying I expect to get super drunk off of it but it the Strong Island was to have several different alcohols in it for none of which I could taste. I order the Brockaway Fizz after to see if they could top it but unfortunately it did not. Not sure if it was the bartender having a bad night but I didn't enjoy either drink. The fish & chips were decent but eh.

Sandra D.

Yelp
The food here was good, but terrible customer service. Yikes. The waitress we had today was not very friendly at all.

Yelp
I travel to Indy on a regular basis. I specifically went back to this place, because of a good experience in the past. Tonight was an experience that will ensure that I never return. The bartender barely acknowledged me, I knew exactly what food I wanted to order. I ordered a shepherds pie and asked for it to go. When I go back to the hotel room and open the bag, I was shocked, surprised, disappointed and frankly, quite pissed. Instead of putting it in a proper container, they poured it into tinfoil and then put it in the sandwich container and sent me on my way. I didn't realize it until I got back to the hotel. It's virtually inedible. I called mediately and asked to speak with a manager, and I was told that there was no manager available, but they can take a message. I had seen the manager in the back office while I was there and when I asked further " so there's no one there in charge" the lady answered "that's right".

Maddie M.

Yelp
They have trivia nights on Wednesdays!!! All around this bar is a great atmosphere and is a great location. Walking distance from many apartment complexes in the area! Good beer selection and good food, but when it comes to the wait staff I've never had luck with them checking on our table and you almost ALWAYS have to flag them down.
google avatar

Dave H.

Yelp
Went here with a friend; we went to the bar to place our order because we couldn't see a server after waiting for a few minutes in the back area. After 10 minutes of watching Bartender engrossed in conversation with his friends at the bar (and serving several people) I went and asked for our drinks. He didn't seem to realize he had neglected us. the server brought the appetizer but didn't really seem interested to take care of us. My friend had to ask for silverware and she did not ask if we wanted more drinks. I had to go back to the bar to order a second one. Doubt I will be back.
google avatar

Nick G.

Yelp
Mackenzie was our waitress and after a good evening I tipped 20%. She complained to the other waitress of my tip and the two printed me off a new receipt to tip again after the 20% tip so I left at 15% tip and they kicked me out saying "come back when you know how to tip"

Yelp
Great place, great beer, great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great Irish pub.
google avatar

Marsha K.

Yelp
We REALLY wanted to live this place! On the road for 8 hrs, very close to hotel. Waitress and pork tenderloin sandwich were awesome. This Irish pub's version of a corned beef sandwich was very lacking!! The corned beef looked like it came from a deli and NOT a lot on the sandwich. We were starving but disappointed
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
I met my supervisor for a lunch/working session here at Brockway pub, and was very impressed with the food! However, the service was not so good. We waited for at least 30 minutes before the server, Sandy, waited on us and took our order. We then waited another 30 minutes for her to bring us our drinks. By then, another server took over for her and took our food order. From then on , it did get better, but was not happy with the overall service experience. Sandy did appear to have an attitude and acted like she did not want to be there working. I can understand people having a bad day, but you still have to do your job and show great customer service to the guests. The clam chowder I had was out of this world, and probably one of the best clam chowder I have ever had to date! That made up for the bad service experience. ALL in all, I'm sure this is a great pub to hangout at and drink beer, but the service needs to improve a bit among the staff.

Yelp
Brockway Public House is your typical run of the mill (Irish) pub. They have outside seating which is always a plus and when the weather is nice they have massive windows they can open which make you feel like you are basically sitting outside. They have a small corner that is dedicated to Darts. Who doesn't love a good dart throw? The food is pretty average. I got a hummus wrap and fries. The fries are big fat steak fries and the wrap had a bit too much hummus. However, the portion size was huge and they were having a special that day with all sandwiches (wraps included) only $6! Definitely couldn't complain with that kind of price! Ive gone twice and the service was always good. I will say, for it being practicaly empty on a Monday afternoon I thought the food would come out a little bit qucker, esp since it was lunch time and people need to get back to work.

Yelp
Brockway should get 5 stars because it's stayed open and in that shopping plaza, that's a feat all to itself. My reason for the star docks is that they don't make their own corned beef (according to their staff). It's hard for me to get down on an Irish Pub that doesn't make their own corned beef. With that being said, I've had their Irish egg rolls which have corned beef, kraut and thousand island and it's delicious. The fish and chips is the winner on the menu. I strayed once and wasn't thrilled so I now stick to F&C. If you want to get naughty, you can upgrade your chips to have accoutrements, if you will. Yes, they pour a great beer but I am not a beer drinker so I come to eat.
