"One of our favorite walks between Indre By and Christiania passes Broens, an outdoor, somewhat waterfront street food market on Christianshavn where you can sample from city favorites like Gasoline Grill or just grab a beer and enjoy the lively vibes." - Coolstuff Team

We spent our first night having dinner at this place and we the ambiance was so nice with lots of local people here enjoying their meals. There are plenty stalls or street food stalls available for those hungry eaters. We tried the burger.. and it was not too bad. We also had the sausages with cheese and it was yummy. We also ordered the fish and chips but it was a bit too salty for us. Overall it was a nice experience and a place for you to explore

Rented a bike and rode from the hotel across town to Broens, and that gave me chills. Such a great way to arrive. A summer evening in Copenhagen can’t be beat, but eating outdoors with food trucks is just special. The people friendly. The bench seating was perfect. We had the fish and chips, and they were okay, not out of this world. But the line suggested they we were in for a treat. But the atmosphere was divine. The energy perfect. This is a very special place. The people are just plain epic - friendly, warm, and proud of their city in an accessible way. I recommend the city, the bikes, and the food trucks here - the full experience.

A fun and lively spot in Copenhagen to try a wide variety of foods and drinks in a relaxed, outdoor setting. Located right by the water, it has a great atmosphere and plenty of options ranging from international street food to local specialties, making it perfect for groups with different tastes. Prices are what you’d expect for Copenhagen, but the quality is generally good and the vibe makes it worth the visit. Because it’s right on the harbor, it can get very windy, so it’s smart to dress warmly or bring a jacket even on days that don’t feel too cold elsewhere in the city. Won’t prevent your food from flying away if you’re not careful though! Seating is mostly outdoors, so the weather plays a big role in the overall experience. On the plus side, there are free bathrooms available on site, which is always a welcome convenience when spending time outside. It’s best enjoyed in good weather when you can sit, relax, and take in the lively atmosphere by the water. For those who enjoy casual dining and a vibrant setting, Broens Street Food is a great stop while exploring Copenhagen.

It seems like this should be a great spot for fun and varied food. But all the food is muted versions of what could be, especially in a city that is willing to be so bold even with simple buns. Prices are ok to expensive, and the vibe is very tourist trap. Maybe worth going through on the way to something else, but nothing more.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon this turned out to be a great spot to grab a quick, cheap lunch in the heart of Copenhagen. The place was packed, but it wasn’t hard to find seats at the end of a group table. There were big queues for some stalls, while others were empty. Choose from Italian, Vietnamese, Mexican, fish and chips, sausages and plenty of places to buy a drink. Nyhavn and its over priced tourist restaurants are just across the bridge, so it’s the perfect spot to grab lunch while sightseeing.

The tour guide said expensive street food. I guess he meant expansive street food 😂 nothing is cheap in Copenhagen anyway. Wide range of food. I highly recommend the fish and chips store.

Plenty of outdoor space, beautiful views by the canals. Would much rather go here than a fancy restaurant any day, plenty of buzz and people, lots of laughs and drinks. I got the fish and chips but because you have to hold the cone I couldn’t open the tartare sauce by myself without spilling it everywhere so be mindful. Didn’t bother me much but maybe a box would be easier. Affordable and close to the centre.

We ordered fish and chips and sausages, Both were very delicious and good quality. The coffee was also surprisingly cheaper and good here in contrast with other places in Denmark
