Broken Yolk Cafe

My wife and I 1st time here and we are locals here in Buena Park. We are so nearby we walked here this morning 6/29/25 for breakfast. The food was so delicious and especially with all the different varieties they have on the menu. Atmosphere was amazing! We sat outside patio seating cool with an umbrella. Our service was excellent! All Broken Yolk staffers were friendly and greeted us when we walk in, especially our server Mariana who gave us food/drink recommendations! She was very helpful and we enjoyed her customer service! A great service provided here from staff. Crunchy French toast could have had been better coated in Frosted Flakes more but I am splitting hairs here. Smoothie came with whipped cream which was an interesting choice. Would prefer it to come without whipped cream. They could offer more healthy smoothies to attract a more health-conscious clientele. Coffee was great. I enjoyed the option to add bacon and eggs to my French toast. I added avocado as well. Overall my meal was around $50.00 including tip. This is a great place to visit in the Buena Park area.

We stopped by The Broken Yolk Café on Beach Blvd in Buena Park, and this place was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Even the person going around refilling coffee always had a smile on his face, it’s such a great way to start your morning with happy people. We ordered a couple of breakfast dishes from the menu, and everything came out fresh, hot, and delicious. Our server, Evelio (the guy with his name on all his pens 😊), was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of, even though the restaurant was very busy. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this spot especially if you’re visiting Knott’s Berry Farm, which is just across the street. Great food, great service, and an uplifting atmosphere!

Evelio was amazing!!! Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful experience. His energy was the best. We are on vacation and he was welcoming. All our food and drinks recommendations he gave us were excellent. GRACIAS EVELIO!!!

We went really early (8:30am or so) so there was no issues with parking or wait. It was the weekend before Halloween so the place was decorated and the staff was wearing costumes. Pretty neat! A balloon maker came and made swords for the kids who were very entertained. Food arrived quickly, Juan was our server. I chose the salmon avocado toast and I liked it a lot. I found the pancakes average (flavor is good but it’s rather dry) so I’d avoid that. Prices are reasonable and there’s a good selection of dishes to choose from. Would return again!

AMAZING!!! AMAZING!!! AMAZING!!! 🙂‍↕️All I can say is amazing service, ALONSO is best in making a customer comfortable, and he’s always checking on us (very attentive👍) . Plus he’s really funny, very great personality, he knows how to lighten up the mood. Keep up the great job🫡. I will be coming back in this location just for his service😊. Btw great food, you coming in looking like this 🧟‍♀️ and you coming out looking like this🤰(my big back will always be eating the food that they serve me 😗🤌)!!! I 100% recommend this place. Ps: ask for ALONSO, he’s always at your service 😉

We ate here twice while on our staycation! Wide selection of scrumptious food. Fresh fruit means fresh cut fruit in large slicable chunks, not sitting in days of it's own juice. The portions are large, tasty and satisfying. Thanks to Evelio and the ever accomadating, always smiling efficient staff!! We will be back for more!

Megan was very friendly and attentive. Most of all, great sense of humor. The Broken Yolk has always been my go to spot for quality food
