The staff are super friendly and the CSA shares for winter and summer are so lovely. I really appreciate the community that the farm creates and the sense of place. My partner and I will keep coming back!

Very nice farm with lots to offer, the organic produce is excellent and they offer a good selection of meats. The farm share program allows you to pick your own produce . The farm is very well maintained and well organized. Plenty of parking and just a beautiful and peaceful area.

Organic, local, excellent people... what's not to absolutely love!? One of the oldest Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farms.

This is my 4th year at Brookfield and I love it as much as the first year. A large variety of fresh produce is offered every week. They also have a shop with lots of other local goodies. Being able to pick some of the offerings yourself makes you feel involved in the process and gives you a small taste as to what farmer Dan and his crew do every day for us! Highly recommended! And the food truck on Thursdays is amazing

Farmer Dan and his awesome apprentices help bring out the love of greens in all of us. I've tried more new vegetables because of Brookfield Farm than I ever knew existed. Plus the farm shop carries many of the other groceries we need like eggs, milk, bread, honey, local fruit. Best of all, I love seeing all my neighbors there when I pick up my share.

Excellent farm share. Abundant, large variety, more flexibility than some farm shares. Love the ability to pick your own in addition to picking up in the store. Great additional items available for purchase. Local breads, meats, dairy and specialty items.

I have been a member of Brookfield Farm for over 20 years. The veggies are outstandingly fresh and flavorful. Dan, the farmer, is a big advocate of sustainable agriculture and supports it in big ways that extend beyond the farm's immediate community. Always excited about our weekly delivery of CSA veggies even after all these years!

Was a member of this CSA for awhile after the first started but had stopped for over 15 years. Now we are back and are glad to have rejoined. Great staff and they are always pleasant and helpful. If you are interested in Community Supported Agriculture, then this is the one to belong to.

Yelp
Brookfield Farm is our CSA. What is a CSA, you ask? Community Supported Agriculture. Basically, you pay the farm some cash, and they grow food. Tons and tons of food. Organically. Biodynamically. Locally. Then, they pack up a ton of boxes and send them off to the Boston area, where you can pick up your box. Every week, from June to November, there is a box full of tasty, fresh, local veggies waiting for you. It can't be beat. They are really good with telling you what you are getting (this is particularly helpful for those who are not veggie geeks). They put out a newsletter each week telling you what is new on the farm, what new foods you will see in your box, and they even include recipes. Because now that you have a four-pound bok choy, you need to figure out what to do with it. If you live closer to the farm, you can pick up your food there, and you can stop by for all the pick your own goodies (strawberries, peas, flowers). We will definitely do this again and would recommend it to anyone!

Yelp
We LOVE Brookfield farm! Our Saturday morning trips are something we look forward to every week. It's more than just an errand to pick up veggies, it's a fun outing for all involved. There are usually popsicles involved, and picking berries, and seeing old friends and making new ones. On top of that, the quality of the produce is top notch, and the farm shop sells lots of local products like yogurt, maple syrup, fresh bread, and more.

Yelp
I'm _very_ glad that I signed up for Brookfield Farm's CSA share in 2015 - it was a season of abundant fronds, fruits, and roots to remember. You could taste the difference with these veggies, that they hadn't been cold-stored for months like the supermarket products. Case in point: potatoes with actual fresh flavor to them. And oh, those sweet tomatoes! I'll be returning for more in 2016. Bonus point: the weekly newsletter with recipes for the latest crop.

Yelp
Great veggies. Cute pigs. Adorable cows. Wonderful land. Super-nice people. In terms of a community farm that gives back to the land, nurturing every acre and leaving it better than it was before, Brookfield Farm is it. I am always nourished by encounters with the farm and it's great community. So glad to be part of it.

Yelp
We have been farm share members at Brookfield Farm since we moved to the Pioneer Valley two years ago. Not knowing many people when we moved here, the farm quickly became a community for us. We looked forward to our visits to pick up our share with our two girls, and enjoyed meeting new people each week, many of whom have become friends, or familiar faces around town. The produce is excellent, and it's so great for our kids to see how things are grown and be a part of the harvesting process. They have a new appreciation for a pint of raspberries now! There are also events each year at the farm that our kids have come to look forward to -- the garlic pull & pumpkin harvest. The farm store sells a lot of local produce to supplement your veggies - milk, cheese, bread, popsicles, honey, and in the summer, the farm share includes fresh cut flowers and herbs, which is a nice addition. I also appreciate the opportunity to have some control over the veggies I take home each week, as unlike other at farms who just give you a set share or box of veggies, at Brookfield Farm there is the opportunity to mix and match among a few choices (where quantities allow) each week which helps with menu planning and using up the great produce. The weekly newsletter always includes good recipes or hints for new-to-you or rare varieties of vegetables you may encounter in your share! We look forward to continuing to be a part of Brookfield Farm again this year and encourage people considering a CSA to sign on with Brookfield Farm. Farmer Dan and his crew are terrific.

Yelp
Brookfield Farm is a terrific CSA farm! They offer a wonderful variety of weekly produce; not just veggies but strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and flowers too. The folks who run it are as friendly as can be. The farm shop offers a variety of local products including apples and peaches, yogurt, cheese, eggs, bread, etc., and they run a few beef and pork sales as well. It's a lovely spot to walk the dog (on leash) and/or visit the piglets, chickens and steers. If you are inclined toward a CSA membership, you can't beat Brookfield Farm!
