An absolute gem in the community! I came to The Brooklyn Bathhouse not knowing what to expect, especially since it was my first time at a bathhouse — but the experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and took the time to give me a full tour, explaining everything in detail so I felt totally comfortable. The amenities were top-tier, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I’ll definitely be back!

Was really impressed with our first visit to the bathhouse. The facilities were quiet and very clean. They had everything you want in a small but comfortable space. It wasn't overly crowded. All in all a relaxing, pleasant experience. The price is excellent. For $50, we spent about two hours soaking, schvitzing, using the cold plunge, and took a nice shower.

Had superb time vibing out in this bathhouse. I definitely learned that Bath houses are much better than spas because they have more wide ranging opportunity to soak and see other people as opposed to a spa is generally in your own little cocoon and don’t want to speak to anybody. this place provides such a beautiful opportunity to feel Zen and to release the toxins in your body through heat, moisture and unconditional love.

Dry sauna and wet sauna were awesome. Heat rises so if anyone is complaining that the temp isn't high enough in those rooms needs to sit on the top row! The steam room was nice but did have a bit of an odor, which is not uncommon in a wet room. I still used it as it wasn't overwhelming at all (tho maybe some incense or something would help for more sensitive patrons). Showers and pools were nice. Massage by Ari was great as well, very attentive. Front staff was friendly. There were some teenagers in the pool area that were excessively loud- I don't mind talking but laughing so loud it echoes in the saunas when you're trying to relax is annoying. I talked to them but wish there quiet area signs and that the staff enforced it. Then again, this is a bathhouse not a spa so maybe the rules are different and I was out of line? Please let me know! Nice little spot in neighborhood overall for a good soak and steam. Will go back. 👍

I passed by the location and was curious about the business since I love bathhouse and spa experiences and frequent other places. There was a woman standing in front of the door as if guarding it. When I walked in she sat down but there was no greeting. The receptionist was on the phone and at first did not make eye contact when we entered (not necessarily a big deal) but when she looked over and as her gaze lingered she appeared irritated and bothered. The energy both women gave made me feel uncomfortable and did not inspire me to want to stay and ask more questions about the space but maybe it was an off day. The staff being warm and welcoming upon entry is important since these spaces are meant to be stress free environments built around the ideas of rest, relaxation, and self-care.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. All of the pools were the perfect temperature and the saunas and steam room were wonderful. When we got there we were told the cafe was under renovation, which we wish would have been on the website. Since there are 3 baths and 3 saunas/steam rooms, it would have been nice to be able to go to the cafe to break up the day. As another person said, the space is perfect for about 2-3 hours, and since the day pass is 4 hours, having the cafe is perfect for the extra hour. The construction was also pretty loud when it started, but thankfully it didn’t start until we were about 30 minutes from leaving. We will definitely be back once the cafe is open again, but when we asked, we were told they were unsure how long it would be closed for.

Recently went to check out the amenities. The facilities were clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and attentive. Saunas were good. Just be careful if you’re holding your metal locker key as it will get hot. Steam room looked to be clean and well kept but for whatever reason, there was a bit of a smell. It also makes a really loud noise when steam is being generated which makes it a bit hard to relax. I was also hoping to visit the restaurant but unfortunately it was not open at the time of my visit. Overall I had a lovely visit. Hoping they address the above as I’d like to a be a regular customer and would like to see them be successful

So happy to have this space in our neighborhood. Has all the essentials (3 sauna rooms, cold plunge, warm pool, clean showers, plenty of lockers). All the rooms/ pools were definitely hot enough and cold plunge was cold enough. I go to day spas regularly and don’t understand the complaints from other reviewers. Came here on a weekday and had the place to myself. Quiet and serene in the main area, to the point you forget you’re still on Flatbush Ave. 4hrs day pass is plenty to help you unwind and detox. I’ll definitely try to make this a monthly ritual.

Yelp
Great experience overall. Brooklyn Bathhouse fulfills all the things one expects from a modern bath house at a really great price. Everything was extremely clean and working as expected. I didn't get to try the pizza at the cafe upstairs, but have been missing Zurilee pizza for a long time so will be back for it!
