"Year round, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, the local Borough Hall farmers market offers organic and local produce, fresh flowers, live plants, local honey and delicious baked goods. Set at the south end of Cadman Plaza, you can buy produce to take home on one of the many trains on the block, or get a savory pie and eat lunch in the park. During the winter, the market stalls thin out, but you can still take advantage of the year-end harvest for items like root vegetables and winter flowers." - This Also

I looove fresh fruits and veggies. What could be better than a farmer's market right smack dab in the middle of somewhere so refreshing and unexpected... something to look forward to on court days... even complete with cider, nursery, and even bakery!!

Was a nice surprise. Due to Covid and social distance getting produce was pretty time consuming but an almond croissant was easy and tasty

All kinds of great things to browse through and purchase. Fruits, veggies, baked goods, flowers & even great varieties of honey. You have to go see all the goodies for yourself.

Thus far, I've only visited the Greenmarket @ Borough Hall during the chillier months of the year, when the vendors are more limited (I've walked through mostly in search of the pastries - Francesca's Bakery never disappoints)! :-) But, I'm excited to visit during the warmer months when there is more selection! Overall, this is a nice little outdoor market and it gives you a fun reason to get outside (even when it's cold).

I always enjoy the fresh fruits and vegetables the farmers have to offer. I love it. I made a nice vegetable soup with the majority of the vegetables I bought on Saturday. The gala apples were delicious. Excellent prices compared to the stores I attend. If you are looking for fresh and decent prices this is where you should go. They are there every Saturday from 8am until about 3:30pm.
