The 16 Best Places for Pizza in Orange County | Eater LA

"For a taste of Brooklyn’s renowned slice shops, look no further than Brooklyn City Pizzeria & Market, a family-run restaurant that was born in a home kitchen during the pandemic. In 2022, the family opened a location in Laguna Niguel, and though whole pies are definitely an option here, the best way to try the pizza here is to order by the slice. Dough is cold fermented in the walk-in fridge for up to three days. You can’t go wrong with the classic pepperoni or cheese slices, but the Speziata is an excellent pie with dollops of roasted garlic ricotta and pancetta, and then drizzled with spicy Calabrian chili paste and honey." - Cathy Park

Google
Best pizza in the area hands down. The Sicilian is delicious, but there regular Brooklyn style pies are also to die for. You can customize toppings if you order through their website. Cheese cake, delicious; Coffee cake, to die for. Best to order well in advance! The house made bottled sodas are also very tasty. Don’t sleep on the Ranch.

Google
Pizza is pretty good! Love their variety. Just know that when you walk in, get a slice, you can only make the choices from what is available there. Unless you order a whole pizza. The service is fast. People are friendly. There were long line when I was there but moving quickly. The space is small. So if you want to dine in, maybe come -in 30 min before the rush hour to get a table.

I recently visited this pizza place and was impressed! The pizza, especially the cheese with ricotta and spicy pepperoni, was delicious. The pricing is reasonable, and their lunch specials offer great value. The service was friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this spot for tasty pizza!

Google
First off, this is not NYC pizza. It's trying and it's getting close but in the end it really is not. It's impossible to pinpoint what it really is, but in this case I'd say the sauce. Maybe the crust as well. Anyway... It is good. You get a lot of pizza for your money! Even though it is a bit out of the way for me, I'd definitely go back. The garlic knots were excellent, too!

Google
It was good! Nice crunch crust, friendly staff, even their cheese cake dessert was great. It was little hot inside without AC.

Google
This is the friendliest and most neighborly establishment in Laguna Niguel. Not to mention the pizza and least we forget the CALAZONE, my favorite. I can say I cannot go here without feeling satisfied and delighted every time. Kudos to the management and staff for just bringing the vibe everytime! 🤙🏼

Google
Everybody claims to have the "best pizza" but only few deserve the title. This is truly the best pizza in South Orange County. The dough is not "dry" like most low quality pizza, rather it is airy, light and spongy. The cheese (multiple of them) pleasures your tastebuds. The toppings are unique from other pizza shops & they truly know how to craft their pizza flavors in such a way that the ingredients effortlessly complement eachother. The price is not expensive, rather the cost for exceptional quality. Whoever call it expensive is the same type of person who complains a $7 bottle of wine doesn't taste like $40 bottle. This is quality pizza for quality customers.

Google
Legit pizza place and other offerings are top notch too. The absolute best joint to pick up big pizzas from if you're feeding a big crew and want to elevate way (way) above chain shops. Order ahead or grab slices that are always ready. This place is crazy busy vs the space it occupies, so that alone speaks volumes about making it your top "big pizza" pick.

Yelp
So I came in on a busy friday night after reading the yelp reviews about how amazing and authentic the pizza is. I came in tonight and as other yelpers stated, it was packed. I ordered a pizza and asked for 1/2 & 1/2. I ordered 1/2 pan Sicilian ( Pan Pizza loaded with pepperoni) and asked for 1/2 and Margherita pizza ( Fresh Heirloom tomato and mozzarella ) $35.00 Along with their famous garlic knots ( $8.00) I was told 35-40min wait. They are busy. No problem. I asked for a single slice of pepperoni pizza ( $4.50) while I waited. Holy cow, their "slice" is like 3 slices. Loaded with flavorful and out of this world pepperoni. It was exceptional to say the least. I decided to sit inside in small table to feel out the vibe, and with the music and employees working in concert with each other, you felt like you were in New York. I tried eating with a fork and knife, ( don't judge) and you couldn't eat it like that. You just had to fold and go old school. I saw they had a special, 2 pepperoni slices and 1 drink $9.69, this is a great deal. As others said, you can tell they have their regulars. I will be added to that list. 10/10. Food quality, portion size, value, customer service. Tip: order ahead, and pick up. There is limited seating options, or wait in the car. Careful with the pepperoni, it was dripping with oil, i tried not to get on my shirt, but it happened. Even when using a fork and knife. So either wear a bib, or fold the pizza in half and eat it that way. The Pizzas were amazing, both pizzas, especially , pan Sicilian. Holy moly! This is my new favorite spot!! 10/10!!! Chefs kiss! When i bit into my pizza, The song from Dean Martin " Thats Amore" Starting singing in my head! say) [Chorus: Dean Martin] When the moon hits your eye Like a big pizza pie, that's amore When the world seems to shine Like you've had too much wine, that's amore" , and thats exactly how I feel with each bite of their pizzas here! I am going to be a regular! You watch! Tip: When Im coming back, maybe id do the 2 slices of pizza and drink, or possibly the 1 slice + salad+ drink for $9.69 and take it to the beach. Update: i couldn't stay away. I knew it, my amore for pizza was calling me back, Days later. I came back and ordered the pepperoni and Sausage pizza ( 2 slices) and drink special and garlic knots and chefs kiss!! Everything here is amazing!! Order ahead and avoid the wait. You can even order online 6 days prior. 10/10 my new favorite pizza Place!!! Thank you!!!

Yelp
I have been back at least once a week for years now They have been so nice to me All their staff are friendly and more importantly their food is great I haven't a thing that I didn't like Today I had a Calzone and it was the best I have ever had Their specialty is New York Pizza

Yelp
A solid pizza. Much better than what you get from nationwide chains. Sauce and dough are great, I personally found the "standard" amount of toppings a little light (especially for meats like pepperoni), so I just order extra. The only real negative, the popularity of this establishment. It's so good, that wait times to pickup your order can exceed an hour. That honestly isn't a bad thing, I'll wait for the quality; Just don't plan to grab a pizza "quick" on a random weekend. Weeknights are for sure easier.

Yelp
Ended up pretty hungry at night. Was randomly browsing around and found Brooklyn City Pizzeria & Market. Stopped by here quick. Wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered a slice of Speziata. It includes imported Italian tomatoes, whole milk mozzarella, dollops of roasted garlic ricotta and pancetta, with spicy Calabrian chili paste honey blend. Pretty solid, although it was spicier than I expected. Also ordered a Brooklyn chopped salad to go, and it was actually really fresh! Was a big fan of this. Staff here were soooo friendly. Super nice and they were asking me how the food was. Obviously not somewhere I would go out of my way for since I've had some of the best pizza anywhere. But if I'm in the area? Definitely would come back.

Yelp
Brooklyn City... a lot of people try to argue about what's the closest thing to getting NY pizza in OC and I get it... and I'm not going to join that fray but I will say that the staff here cares, the vibe is solid (small joint) and the pizza is absolutely delicious! Enough said... just go see for yourself!

Yelp
What a find! Hands down the best Pizza in OC. The garlic knots are amazing as well. Will try more of their menu soon. Nice place. Great people and service.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for a good slice of NY style pizza because it's my favorite type. I also enjoy other types of pizza too and my husband makes his own in our pizza oven. I wanted to try Brooklyn City Pizzeria out because my neighbors have been raving about this place since they opened. We ended up here Friday night to try it in house. The spot is mostly a take out spot but they have a couple of tables and a TV with the Dodgers vs. Yankees World Series on. The wait was short and we ordered 3 slices to try: pepperoni & sausage, pepperoni, and margherita. I also wanted to try their cannoli but they were out. Luckily, with our 3-slice order, we got a complimentary fountain beverage. The total came out to just a little over $15 before gratuity. We grabbed a table for two and waited until our pizza slices were warm. First impressions, the slices are huge! We should have stuck with just two. But I really wanted to try their margherita which had a nice crispy texture but lacked the melty cheese I wanted. It seemed to be for lack of a better word, cold and when cheese is cold, it doesn't stretch or melt. The tomatoes on the slice were good and I liked that she put fresh basil on it. The pepperoni slice was greasy and huge too. There was a lot of pepperoni dotting the slice but it lacked the crispiness of the thin crust I was looking for. It was sadly soggy but at least the cheese was melted. The pizza crust was a bit disappointing too. I don't know if we went on a bad day to try it or what, but it did not live up to the hype for us. The first words I said to my husband was that "I had better pizza in Japan." I'm not joking. Japan has excellent pizza with Michellin accolades to boot. I'm glad we tried it and there are many more pizza places in OC to try. All-in-all, Brooklyn City is worth a try for a local spot.

Yelp
Best ever pizza place in Orange County! If you love New York style pizza then you will love this place. Big pie and large slices at a reasonable price. Good fast service too. They have just a few tables inside and out. Seems like the do mostly take out.

Yelp
Friend family owned, very welcoming service. The pizza area great, the giant meatballs are delicious. Location is small and quaint for dine in.

Yelp
A very busy and nice staff pizza place. A couple of tables for indoor and outdoor dining but most people called ahead and got their pizza to-go. If you forget to call ahead, it took about 20 minutes for one pizza. They also have cheese and pepperoni slices if you don't want to wait. Sicilian: thick crust pepperoni and cheese pizza. Very crispy outside and fluffy inside. Their calzones sold out early afternoon so get them while you can. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a great pizza.

Yelp
This is genuinely the best pizza I've ever had in CA. The Speziata pizza most notably is perfection. Everything is so fresh and so New York. The Calzone is also incredible - the portion size is bigger than the state of NY itself. The garlic knots - chef's kiss. You won't be disappointed by whatever you order honestly. The staff are always so friendly, vibes are great inside. Just saved myself a flight to NY!

Yelp
Amazing and SO worth the drive from Huntington Beach. We placed a pickup order online and got: Specialty half/half pie: half carbone with pepperoni and half speziata Garlic knots Side of ranch First of all, the ricotta is incredible. So flavorful and creamy and really made the whole pie. Secondly, they nailed the pizza and are definitely true to the name Brooklyn City Pizzeria. The crust was crisp (and foldable) while still having a good chew and flavor. The order was so good that we ate the whole 8 slice pie + garlic knots in the same day, snacking on leftover crust with their ranch towards the end of the day. The ranch is worth the $1 extra. Could've ordered more honestly. As if the pizza didn't already speak for themselves, the workers there are so kind! We tried some pizza before leaving and had to go back inside to tell them the food was amazing. Kirk or Kurt (I am the worst for forgetting your name!) was so welcoming and appreciative and told us a bit about the family business and how they're originally from tri-state area! We bonded over both being from NJ and he was kind enough to throw in a cookie for us. Cookie aside, the vibes and employees were already a 10/10 and we were already planning on coming back, this was just the cherry on top. Thanks for the amazing food and kindness. Can't wait to bring back our friends and family next time!!

Yelp
A friend decided to grab some pizzas from Brooklyn City Pizzeria for a beach day so I can't speak to the service and ambiance of the restaurant, but I did get to try a few items on their menu. I was really excited to give this place a try especially with all the rave reviews on Yelp. We grabbed a few pizzas - the Pepperoni ($26), Sausage ($25), Vodka ($30) and the Pesto Artichoke ($35) along with a couple orders of the Garlic Knots ($8 per order). The pizzas were definitely sizable with 8 large slices per pie. The pizza tasted good, but I personally found them to look a bit better than it tasted. My favorite was the Vodka pizza as I loved the dollops of fresh ricotta sprinkled throughout the pie. The crust is a bit on the thinner side if you like NY style pizza. What really stole the show for me though were the garlic knots! They were chewy, buttery and had delicious garlicky flavor. Glad I finally got to try Brooklyn City Pizzeria.

Yelp
The pizza takes a while to make but once made it's very good, very tasty with quality ingredients, we ordered up the pepperoni and a cheese pie and it was one of the best pizzas in all of Orange County. Good service , friendly and a busy, busy place , there's some seating inside , it's in a strip mall sort of place . Worth the drive , worth the visit . Good stuff !

Yelp
I've been here many times but have never written a review. However since a coworker said he saw my review here I guess I better prove him right. Here goes. This place has one of the best pizza in the area. It passes all of my criteria for having authentic NY pizza. Of course you have to do this test on a plain cheese for a consistent analysis. 1. Thin crust and chewy dough? Check 2. Good flavorful sauce? Check 3. Tasty chewy cheese? Check That's it. Pass!

Yelp
Solid New York pizza slice shop in South OC. You can get two slices and a drink for around $8 (it's not cheaper if you don't get a drink, I asked). Came on a weekend around 4:30 PM and there was no line. Service was friendly and they have a decent amount of outdoor seating. The pizza was solid and comparable to other NY pizza joints I've had in OC like Loosies in Santa Ana and Terra Mia. The slice sizes were huge (essentially two slices in one). My only complaints are that the pepperoni slices were extremely greasy (yeah, I know it's pizza but this was TOO greasy to the point where it was a bit unappetizing). Also the crust hold wasn't great and didn't pass the NY fold test (see pic). Overall a decent spot but I wouldn't come out of my way as there are other comparable NY pizza places out there.

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here for years, but we never seem to make it down this way, and if we do, I have forgotten about it every time. Not last weekend! We made it an official plan to stop by on the way home from from San Juan Capistrano. We were hoping to just get slices and eat there, but it's TINY and all the seating was taken. Instead we got a pepperoni pizza and an order of meatballs to go. I am very glad we did that instead! I would have been bummed if I only had one slice of their delicious pizza. The wait was about 40 minutes, and well worth it! It was still hot by the time we drove the 30 miles home. We absolutely loved this pizza, the crust is great (and I usually don't eat crusts!), the amount of pepperoni was perfect, the sauce was delish, and it was just the right amount of cheese. Pieces are MASSIVE, and this pizza fed us for days. Oh, the meatballs? Some of the best I have ever had! While I do not think we will drive out of the way to come here again, if we will be passing by, I definitely want to call in an order and pick it up. I would love to try their other pizzas and appetizers. My husband was drooling over some garlic knots he saw them taking out of the oven when we were ordering, so I think we will definitely order those next time.

Yelp
An outstanding pizza. I've been on a quest to visit the Top Rated Pizzerias in Southern California and one of my biggest problems is deciding which type of pizza to try on my first visit. Problem solved with Brooklyn City, as there online ordering system was a breeze and almost dared me to try their Half and Half option. Great value as well compared to some other gourmet pizza spots. Received a text once the pizza was in the oven and upon walking in, I witnessed a well organized assembly line of pizza makers. Friendly service at the cashier and you could see all the orders coming in. Has to be a Top 10 pizza option in Orange County. The only issue here is the parking.

Yelp
Came over on a Sunday night. I was craving a meatball sub but the heroes were sold out! Come early to have all menu options if available .had sphagget and meatball parm, trio sliders-meatball,fried eggplant and chicken parm on toasty house rolls. I decided to get a single slice of pepp while I wait. Very nice and attentive staff. They had a bunch of regulars/familiars coming in n out of the shop. Felt like I was in a household lol the food was amazing and hospitality was pleasant and friendly. The shop is tucked away in a business plaza where there is ALOT of competition, but they take care of business! Will be back for sure. Thanks for being a Laguna niguel staple !

Yelp
Ordered some pizza and garlic knots for work and they were amazing! The garlic knots didn't disappoint. They don't skimp on toppings.

Alan K.

Yelp
By far the best pizza in Orange county! Perfect crust, great taste. The speziata with added meatballs and mushrooms is fantastic! Love this place! Go get a pizza and thank me later!
google avatar

Tammy N.

Yelp
One of the best pizzas my husband and I have ever had for sure. The pizza dough was thin and crispy. The sauce to dough ratio was perfect so it didn't make the pizza soggy or and soft. There wasn't too much cheese either and perfect amount of toppings. The garlic knots with marinara were great as well. You could tell it was fresh sauce and it was not too acidic like some places. Definitely will be back in the future

Dan M.

Yelp
What an amazing hole in the wall we found find. Apparently people come in here from miles away. I can see why, there is something about this pizza. Very legit and authentic. Best pizza in the COUNTY. Note: if you're doing a pick up order, call at least 2 hours before you're ready to pick it up. Not uncommon that they have 30 orders going at one time,

Felipe M.

Yelp
The za slaps. Something about folding hot pie and eating it like a taco just feels right. 10/10 would do again.

Yelp
01/28/2024 Hubby was craving some New York thin crust pizza so we found this place on Yelp with some great reviews. This small little shop next door to a massage place in a strip mall was bustling and busy! We noticed a lot of take out pizza and family dinner orders going out the door. The employees were friendly, helpful, and polite despite the fast pace of the place. There were four tables inside for up to 10 people and outside tables for about 12 people. We arrived about 1:00 pm and the only slices they had left were their Bianca (white). Hubby asked how long it would take for pepperoni. He was willing to wait but the female employee (owner?) with glasses said she didn't know. So we ordered daily specials with white slices. 1 slice + wings + drink = $14.55 1 slice + small salad + drink = $9.52 I loved the pizza because it was white sauce and ricotta. I wish the slice had some spinach on it, though. Hubby (aka the carnivore) made do since there was no pepperoni. I'm not usually a thin crust pizza type but this has been one of the better tasting pizzas I've had. The wings came out but they were definitely not fried as the menu said. The buffalo sauce was good and the chicken was moist and cooked well. Hubby actually liked the wings. Usually he's a chicken wing snob and only likes them fried. The small side salad was your basic mix of chopped iceberg, tomatoes, cucumbers, and shredded carrots. Lemon vinaigrette was their standard dressing. It was light and not very strong tasting. Ranch dressing on the side will cost you $0.80 extra per cup. As we were eating, the female employee (owner?) with glasses came around and asked hubby if he'd like another slice and offered him a pepperoni on the house. She said she felt bad about earlier when they didn't have any but then eventually one was put out for slices. That was really nice of her that she remembered and offered it. Hubby was not impressed with his white slice so we took home a slice of the margherita and pepperoni for later. Maybe he will change his mind.... If we're ever in the area again, I would definitely come back for more Bianca pizza (add spinach please)... and maybe try some of their pasta dishes/family dinners.

Yelp
BCP is slinging a solid slice. Our first visit we ordered a half/half pizza at a busy time. The 40 minute wait time ended up being closer to an hour. This time I ordered online. And kept it simple. We had a regular cheese pizza. The first 50% of the slice is everything you want out of a pizza-- thin crust that holds up to the toppings, perfectly sauced, and cheesy. It's the perfect balance. Unfortunately that balance slips away as you munch through. Minimal sauce, more thick and bready under the cheese and then a wide dense crust. The sauce is wonderful and complex. You can taste the sweet tomatoes and the subtle garlic flavor. The cheese tastes fresh and has a nice cheese pull. I only wish the last 50% of the slice was as good as the first 50%. Online ordering is simple. There is a nice outdoor seating with umbrellas on the sidewalk along the parking lot.

Yelp
The staff who works here is so friendly and helpful and the energy and atmosphere is fast and fun. I appreciate that they are generous with dressings, condiments etc. but i don't understand the hype on the food. Been here twice and both times tossed all my food out. Pizza had no flavor, and dough is super chewy. Caesar salad no flavor. Teriyaki wings were not good. Ranch dressing doesn't have a lot of flavor either. Happy they are busy but def passing on coming back.

Yelp
5 STARS to the moon and back - big enormous pizza! Delicious pizza with great customer service. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. They really made us feel at home and comfortable. Never once rushed us to order. It looked small but don't let that fool you. I was passing by Laguna Niguel for a meeting and decided to give this a try. Worth every dollar! You can order pizza slices at the restaurant or whole pizza. Best to order on the phone and save time. Slices of pizza were ready to order but whole pizza and wings took times. It was not a long wait at all when I ordered last minute at the restaurant. There are paper menus by the counter if you need to look at the price of each item on their menu. Everyone who came in or phone in to order seemed like they were all regular here. There were constant traffic of customers coming in and phone in the whole time I was there waiting for my food. Wings were soft and meaty and flavorful. Pizza crust tasted fresh and soft, loaded with pepperoni pieces and cheesy cheese - the strings of cheese just melt in my mouth! My family loves pizza with wings and this place really hit the spot. They have cute little food jars, clothes, olive oil, cool looking sodas etc. for sale as well. Parking - it's inside a shopping area with plenty of parkings. No restroom.
google avatar

Charlene B.

Yelp
Food great. I have only had pizza and knots...both super tasty. Pepperoni and Meatball pizzas were delicious. The closest thing to real NY Pizza my pizza snob husband can find in OC. A few small tables inside and no bathroom. All of the workers super friendly. The owners are super nice as well.
google avatar

Ted S.

Yelp
Thanks to other Yelpers I found this place. 18" pies with huge, thin crust, foldable slices. I've tried the pepperoni a couple of times now, and it's just so damned good. The one with meatball, sausage, and pepperoni is also good, as were the pep jalapeño and pep mushroom pies we got. The pickup wait was two hours on a Friday evening, which was expected. I think I found my new favorite pizza place. My favorite for the past 25 years has just become too inconsistent. Loving Brooklyn City!
google avatar

Peter G.

Yelp
This has to be, if not the best, pizza I have had. I got the half and half--half Speziata and half Monzo. The quality is top-notch. My favorite was the Speziata; I love some ricotta cheese, especially when its mouth is burning hot. Also, the pancetta and the hot sauce added a nice touch to reduce the heaviness. I will be coming again when I am in town.
google avatar

Johny C.

Yelp
After living in coastal OC for 12 years and having moved from the east coast, this has to be one of the most convincing NY style slices I've had. Overall great job! Had: 1) cheese reheated slice - which was great. Thin crispy bottom and a nice layer of cheese slightly browning and a bit chewy, which I like a lot. 2) a whole pepperoni pie. The quality of the pepperoni was excellent and it looks great on picture, because of the extraordinary amount of ingredients they use but in flavor it is overwhelming. Every three bits of pepperoni will render about a teaspoon of pork fat. Add that to the fat from the cheese and it is a "skim or die dish". I am sure most people enjoy the artery-blocking-experience, but when I return I will ask light on the peps. 3) a whole eggplant parmigiana pie. This sadly was not my fave. The parm is so thin you can't really taste the delicate nuances of the vegetable, just the fried around it. This I will not reorder. Regarding service, VERY friendly. A lot of pizza places have an "order quick and scram" style of service. But not here. There is a lady (not sure if she's a manager or an owner) but she watches the entire operation like a hawk and keeps an eye on reactions of every customer. Based on their interactions while we ate there, it is clear they have developed deep bonds with their regulars, which says a lot. We will be sure to come back to Brooklyn City Pizza, specially not that I know how to customize our pizza to make it PERFECTO.
google avatar

Linda T.

Yelp
Ordered the pizza to be delivered via DoorDash. And wow, really did underestimate how BIG the pizza was going to be! It will feed to at least 3-4 people depending on your appetite. I have never personally been to NY, but will say I believe people when they say this is the closest pizza you can get to it. Crust is thin. Unfortunately because it was delivered it does lose some of its integrity a bit due to it losing some heat. Nothing a little toaster oven can't fix. I got the Manzo pizza, which is essentially pepperoni and sausage. Simple and easy. May try some of the other pizzas in person in the future so that it may stay fresh.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious Pizza, Salad and Stromboli ordered and Brooklyn City Pizza is now my go to. The service was great and the employees are very helpful and friendly. It is a small place with a few tables, but my order was for takeout...

Yelp
Half eggplant parm half pepperoni. Best pizza in oc. Also best calzone and Stromboli.

Yelp
The pizza was great, what a great place hidden away in a little strip mall. No doubt the best pizza in the area! You have to go to San Clemente or Laguna Beach for anything comparable, and they are totally different styles. We'll definitely be back. There is only one size of pizza, but it's huge! It's a great deal for the price. The wings are good also.

Warren L.

Yelp
Their to go is a joke! Luckily there is a massage place next door, so when your food isn't ready, you can go next door and get a massage. Then when you're finished and de-stressed, you will only have a little wait left!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is THE BEST NYC-style pizza in SoCal I can't believe I just found such a gem now! It needs to be on top of your Togo list or you will regret it Take yourself a favor and try this place You will thank me later

Yelp
The food at this restaurant is excellent only to be surpassed by the customer service of the people that own the place. I recently ordered Sicilian pizza by the slice they didn't have the by the slice ready. The owner however made me a whole pizza and sold me two pieces Sicilian the slice but they made it for me. In the meantime my wife ordered two pieces of the regular pizza and I ordered two meatballs and Spaghetti. It was excellent. I recommend this place without reservation and if you're looking for the best pizza in this area, this restaurant has it for you

Yelp
So this is my 3rd time back. This time I ordered just a simple cheese basil pie. Nothing simple about it though. Couldn't have had a more perfectly done pizza. Fresh, hot, perfect cheese sauce ratio and crust that folds and flops perfectly. Staff treats you like family and best friends. Gus and Margie are owners and rat of staff are so nice. Enough space to eat inside or out( about 7 total). Casual for eat and obviously take out too.

Yelp
Pizza was great !!!! Service on the other hand was sub par - I got name shamed by the female cashier who also didn't know how to count back cash - she gave me too much change and when I tried to return it she argued with me that she gave me the correct change - she didn't she gave me $40.00 too much back Pizza great !! Female cashier not so much

Yelp
I've been coming here the past couple of weeks after seeing a social media post & have to say it's very good. Wish it had more space to sit down for a drink while waiting for the food since it's always busy & lead time tends to go later but, it's been nothing less than a great slice of pizza.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to trying Brooklyn City pizza. The place was busy, but the line moved quickly. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a plate of spaghetti and meatballs to go. The young man at the register told me it would take 30 minutes for the pizza. When I asked if that was just for the pizza, he confirmed. So, I decided to just grab a couple of slices to go instead. When I asked about the spaghetti and meatballs, he checked with the kitchen and informed me they were out of meatballs. Who runs out of meatballs on a holiday weekend?!!! That was super disappointing,so I decided to stick with just the slices. After about 5 minutes, they handed my box to another customer who was coughing and wearing a mask, which made me uneasy. WTF? Was that my order? Covid-boy returned the box, and they passed it to me. Great. I was hoping this wasn't a sign of more mistakes to come. Unfortunately, the slices were slightly burnt, but I decided not to make a fuss and left. When I got home, I wasn't as excited to try the pizza as I had been earlier, but surprisingly, it turned out to be pretty legit, despite the burnt pepperoni. I'm willing to give them a second chance and will update my review if things improve.

Yelp
This is New York pizza at its finest! Amazing! It's the cheese, sauce and most of all the delicious NY style pizza crust. And, the pies are HUGE. Well, that's a good thing, because you'll find yourself eating more than you thought you would. We recommend you try Brooklyn City Pizzeria!

Yelp
Great food and the Pizza is the best. Service is awsome. The people behind the counter are amazing and always extremely friendly. Forgot to mention. The cheesecake and cookies are great. I go at least once a week for the two slices and drink special. Can't beat the price. Less than 10 bucks

Yelp
The pizza and salad here is delicious. Service was friendly and calling in and picking up was a breeze. Ready exactly as estimated on time. The dough and toppings were tasty, as were the sauce. I do feel it is a bit pricey, but the pizzas are large enough to feed a family.the salad dressing was extremely tangy, I would opt for a different one next time. Great option for a casual dinner in the area. They have a bit of indoor seating, but ideally forward to go. Plenty of easy parking.

Yelp
The pizzas here are pretty good. I just think it's a personal preference of mine for my pizzas to be thicker. These were on the thinner side which I know is the NY style and I'm sure many people love that. I felt like they could have also had a bit more cheese. I appreciated that they added plenty of toppings and that the pizzas were huge. The place was clean and had some cool artwork. The service was great!
