Brooklyn Seltzer Boys, NYC’s Last Standing Seltzer Factory, Is Bubbling Up Again - Eater NY

"About a year ago, delivery company Brooklyn Seltzer Boys left Canarsie, Brooklyn — said to be the last seltzer factory in the city, where production of bubbles clanking in colorful glass bottles had been running for 70 years. The company is led by Alex Gomberg, a new wave seltzer purveyor, who had been operating out of his family’s decades-old Gomberg Seltzer Works factory since 2013." - Emma Orlow

Wow. W o w. I feel blessed with this delivery service. Solid bubbles, genuine spicy fizz. I am so picky about seltzer & this is above and beyond the best. Also, cannot beat the customer service. Stoked to do a tour someday soon. 10/10, absolutely recommend.

We started getting old fashion seltzer delivered by Brooklyn Seltzer Boys 2 months ago and couldn’t be happier. I had been drinking canned seltzer for years, but this is so much better; fresher, fizzier, and just tastes better. We get a deliver in Suffolk County once a month and they always check-in a few days before to verify the order. The customer service is great (due to them using 100 year old bottles sometimes a bottle fails, but the company always replaces them with the next order - I always order a few extra bottles to account for this.) More people should support this company because if the product goes away, it will be lost forever. That would be a sad day. If you don’t need 10 bottles a month, get a friend/neighbor and split the order. I could write more, but it’s time for me to make an Egg Cream!

If you love the old-fashioned seltzer in the bottles. This is the place. The staff is great. The prices are worth the real taste of Seltzer, not plastic taste. They text you every two weeks to see if you need any more. The only problem is they do not have soda syrup

If you are going to deal with the Brooklyn Seltzer Boys be prepared to pay a deposit on both the cases and the bottles. Also if and when you decide not to deal with them upon return of both the cases and bottles have their driver inspect the bottles and cases and sign off on their condition. If not you will fine that they will fine an excuse NOT TO GIVE YOU BACK YOUR DEPOSIT. Buy seltzer in the store an save yourself the aggravation..

Fun far away from everything Very nice guys but terribly expensive $25 to get in after driving to the far end of Brooklyn No parking Interesting place seltzer is a curious thing They do a good job with the history of seltzer If you have some extra $$ to burn go there it is a fun place

Yelp
Really enjoyed the tour and museum experience with Alex and Barry the Brooklyn Seltzer Boys! $25 for a ticket gets you the family history, a comprehensive explanation of the seltzer making and bottling process, a hands-on experience with the century old rotary filling machine plus a fresh egg cream. That's a drink with chocolate syrup, milk and fresh seltzer, delicious. Filling a bottle myself on the ancient bottling machine was super nerdy fun. I brought in a couple old seltzer bottles, for a few dollars Alex rehabbed the valves and seals, then filled them for me to take home, that was a treat! Good seltzer should hurt lol. The ticket price hurt a little considering how short the tour is, but seltzer is pretty much as authentic old New York as you can get. This place is deep in Brooklyn, from the A/C line get off at Euclid Ave and walk 5 min.

Yelp
Best seltzer/sparkling water/carbonated water ive ever had, hands down. Everyone I spoke with and interacted with was super nice and friendly. I absolutely loved getting these delivered to my doorstep on a regular basis. great price for a solid local product and service. Unfortunately I moved out of state and have had a huge seltzer bottle sized hole in my heart since.

Yelp
I love seltzer and was glad to find BSB. The VP, Alex Gomberg, was super responsive, friendly, and helpful. I'm in Jersey and they only deliver to my region monthly and I was told I had likely missed the delivery window that was just a few days away, so I was pleasantly surprised to get an alert letting me know that they would be delivering to me much earlier than expected. The water is EXCELLENT and I've raced through my first case. I will likely order more than one case for my next delivery. Thanks for the great service and even better water. You guys rock!

Yelp
I grew up in Brooklyn, and always had this type of seltzer. I actually grew up on this type of seltzer. I had even collected these old bottles. I think what they are doing is absolutely GREAT. The Seltzer Boys are one of the best things to come back to Brooklyn which is having a great comeback. Thank you Seltzer Boys.
