"You’re looking for a quiet place to drink in Park Slope, which means there’s a reasonable chance you also have some children you’re trying to avoid for a few hours. Brookvin, a simply decorated bar with a long list of wines available by the glass, carafe, or bottle, is a good place to do it. Hang out with friends at a table in the back garden surrounded by string lights and greenery, or, if you want to talk to someone your own age but forgot to actually make any plans, sit at the bar and ask the servers for wine recommendations." - bryan kim, matt tervooren

Stumbled on this gem! Great selection of wine reasonably priced. Enjoyed the selection of cured meats and cheese. The ambiance was absolutely amazing cozy warm inviting and a beautiful back yard. But what really is impressive is the staff, friendly kind and knowledgeable had a really great conversation and looking forward to my next visit! Thanks for everything guys!

As far as wines go, they have a good selection. Food is definitely lacking. Beet salad had no taste, bread was a bit stale. Added salt on top of the very salty paté was totally unnecessary! Some of the charcuterie was good but not all. Would come back only to have wine, no food!

This hurts to write but I have been coming here for years. I am from restaurant biz. I love everything- “sorry Bianca/ FOOD is great. “ What needs improvement is not announcing last call as ppl are putting food in their mouth and blatantly gesturing cleanup while drinking. I get it we all want to go home. Walked in at 9:37 to be told kitchen was closing. Got food then as I began eating was told last call. Maybe owner needs to observe more or send in test clients b/c bartenders do develop bad habits. Incredibly inelegant. Either decline the seating or change hours. Def. Check the bartender attitudes. Not good for long-term.

Have come here a few times over the years when visiting friends in Park Slope. There's always people, service is good whether you're sitting down or at the bar, and the food is tasty without breaking the bank. Usually get charcuterie but this time we got the mac and cheese, arugula salad, and meatballs. All were good. Good whisky cocktails, and always have a decent cava by the glass.

Nice place to meet up with friends to catch up. They have a good wine and small plate selections . Staff is very friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Laid back spot with great backyard area (covered but open.) Everything served is high quality- even the charcuterie. Nice selection of wines by the glass so you can pair with many different small plate selections. Dark chocolate mousse is very thick and rich but so good.

I’ve been here a few times and the service was great. This time, I decided to bring some people from out of town and made a reservation via phone. When we got to the place, we were told there was no reservation because the person I spoke to on the phone “didn’t write it down.” So the employee gave us another table and told us to “be out in two hours.” Later on…after 20 plus drinks and food, the waiter told us “we need this table in 20 minutes.” Due to feeling rushed, and the fact that food kept falling off our plates when the server delivered it, it was underwhelming. I hope this was a one-off experience, but I’m a little embarrassed since I brought people here from out of town.
